  • De-identification is a method by which the remaining information can not be referred to a specific individual by removing the personal information from the data set. As a result, de-identification can lower the exposure risk of personal information that may occur in the process of collecting, processing, storing and distributing information. Although there have been many studies in de-identification algorithms, protection models, and etc., most of them are limited to structured data, and there are relatively few considerations on de-identification of unstructured data. Especially, in the medical field where the unstructured text is frequently used, many people simply remove all personally identifiable information in order to lower the exposure risk of personal information, while admitting the fact that the data utility is lowered accordingly. This study proposes a new method to perform de-identification by applying the k-anonymity protection model targeting unstructured text in the medical field in which de-identification is mandatory because privacy protection issues are more critical in comparison to other fields. Also, the goal of this study is to propose a new utility metric so that people can comprehend de-identified data set utility intuitively. Therefore, if the result of this research is applied to various industrial fields where unstructured text is used, we expect that we can increase the utility of the unstructured text which contains personal information.

  • We have known that "Chimgudaeseong(鍼灸大成)" had been written by Yanggyeju(楊繼洲) in Myeong(明) Dynasty. And it had been the only text book of acupuncture & moxibustion for 300 years. This book is composed of 10 chapters dealing almost all the medical theories of that times. This book is so enormous that it is hard to understand essential ideas of author. The reading medical records is one of the best way to develop one's abilities of curing a disease without clinical practice. so we can't help dealing with medical records, because it is one of important method of understanding Oriental Medicine. On this study, we investigate a objective method on understanding medical records in "Chimgudaeseong(鍼灸大成)".

  • Currently, there are about 20,000 or so known ancient medical texts from the East Asian medical traditions. Although the most famous texts are widely known, many texts still exist only as original manuscripts. We are interested exploring these texts to uncover the potential benefits of their therapeutic knowledge. This study aims to develop a database program that automatically converts the treatment skills described in the text version into a more structured version. In the previous study, our team analyzed patterns in the way that treatment skills are described and then tried to design a database program algorithm that identified every meaningful keyword used to describe treatment skills and put that word in the right cell of a structured table. This study continues the development of this program. East Asian medical herbal treatment information is broken down into 4 elements: the first one is the name or title of treatment skills, and the second is the symptoms to which the treatment is applied, the third is ingredients used, the fourth is how information is processed and the indications taken. This study presents the algorithm's principles on how to analyze and structure the fourth element, the processing of information and taking of indications, which is described in a form of ancient natural language.

  • "Susehyunseo" is an unpublished writing of Kimyounghun, a Korean doctor who was active in the Japanese occupation era. This book reveals the details about the traditional medical education of his time rather than his medical opinion because he had written it as a student to check his own medical system. Many representative TKM texts such as "Donguibogam", "Yixueruwen", and "Bangyakhappyun" are mentioned, but many medical documents that are lost now are also mentioned, making it a useful document in understanding the medical education circumstances of those times.

  • Objectives : Previous research on texts specializing in acupuncture and moxibustion in Korea have mostly been focused on those written in the Joseon period, leaving an academic void in the modern and contemporary eras. This research on the "Yeongsochimgugyeong" was undertaken to help readers' understanding of the text and to provide basic material for further research on modern-contemporary education of acupuncture and moxibustion. Methods : The original text of "Yeongsochimgugyeong" was examined along with books and news articles on related people. Information that was difficult to obtain through written documents was supplemented by interviews with people who knew about the situation at the time. The findings were organized as 1) the author and related people and 2) introduction of "Yeongsochimgugyeong". Results and Conclusions : The original text of "Yeongsochimgugyeong" was written by teacher Jeon, Gwangok, interpreted and annotated by his disciple Gwon, Yeongjun. It is presumed that they wrote this book as educators of Korean medicine for educational purposes on acupuncture and moxibustion before and after the Japanese colonial era. The book is consisted of an overview of meridianology, details on points and meridians, supplementing and draining methods, similar to the current text book. The contents and expressions of "Yeongsochimgugyeong" reflect the state of acupuncture and moxibustion education of the early and mid $20^{th}$ century, making it a valuable resource.

  • ZhangSanRoei's "NanKyungHeoJuJenJung" is a book which is composed of 'HeoJu'(collection of traditional explanations) and 'JenJung'(his own ideas). In this research, I considerd of "NanKyungHeoJuJenJung"'s theory of 'meridian' mainly by the original text. ZhangSanRoei said that it is right in the traditional theory that the 12 channel is always arranged 'pulse', and 'kikyung 8 channel' is subsidiary, so both of them are important. But, he was influenced by western medicine, he criticized that 12 channels' lenth is 16zhang2chuk, and are stared in 'Sutaeyinpaekyung' and left kidney right myungmun theory.

  • Objectives : To investigate how 『Duchanggyeongheombang』 has been adopted and edited in practical texts such as 『Gosachwalyo』, 『Sallimgyeongje』, 『Gosasinseo』. Methods : Based on the disassembled verses of a paragraph in the 『Duchanggyeongheombang』, the 「Duchanggyeongheombang」 contents in 『Gosachwalyo』, 『Sallimgyeongje』,『Gosasinseo』 were compared and examined. Results : 『Gosachwalyo』 directly summarized and quoted the contents of 『Duchanggyeongheombang』 written by Park, Jinhee, while the contents in 『Sallimgyeongje』 and 『Gosasinseo』 are mostly similar, summarizing and quoting from 『Gosachwalyo』. Conclusions : In the perspective of text categorization, while the professional and specialized contents of 『Duchanggyeongheombang』 has been excluded, it was edited in ways of increasing practicality. As these texts were widely dispersed to the public, we can conclude that 『Duchanggyeongheombang』 was very influential in the treatment of douchang(痘瘡, smallpox) among the public.

Methods : We analyzed the terms describing effect of 3,901 herbal formulae on Dongeuibogam and selected the terms describing the anti-aging effect of herbal formulae(TAEHF). Finally, we generated a list of CAHFs based on TAEHFs. Results & Conclusions : 1. We finally selected 162 TAEHFs on Dongeuibogam. 2. We finally selected 138 CAHFs on Dongeuibogam(15CAHFs for external use, 123CAHFs for internal use). 3. TAEHFs are classified into 9 types. 4. CAHFs are classified into 9 types.

  • BiaoYouFu(標幽賦) is a classic of accupuncuret&moxibustion, written by a famous accupuncurist& moxibustionist DouHanQing, and it is published in DouHanQing's ZhenQingZhiNan, BiaoYouFu is an accupuncuret&moxibustion GeFu(歌賦-a type of song) that simply expressed the profound and abstract parts of the theory and practice of acupuncture&moxibustion in GeFu forms, and allowed people studying to understand the details of acupuncture&moxibustion readily, and also help doctors to memorize easily. The author wrote annotations for abstruse parts and pronunciations for the original text to help in reading the original text with ease. The most important point is that it was translated according to our country's unique rhythm of folk song, the $3{\cdot}4$, $4{\cdot}4beat$, to make it easily readable, so that it could be studied repeatedly and understood deeply.
