독서치료는 문학을 통해 개인 욕구의 충족 및 건강한 심신을 이루게 할 뿐만 아니라 건강한 사회성원의 육성, 건전한 여가문화의 창달로 인하여 결국 국민의 총체적인 복지 증진에 기여할 수 있는 효과적인 수단이 된다는 점에서 우리 사회의 질적 발전을 위한 방법이 될 수 있다. 본 연구는 의학도서관 사서를 대상으로 의학도서관의 독서치료 서비스 운영 실태를 파악하고, 이에 대한 사서들의 인식도를 조사하여 그 결과를 바탕으로 의학도서관의 독서치료 서비스의 기초 자료를 제공하는데 있다. 이를 위해 한국의학도서관협의회 회원 도서관 중에서 의학도서관 57개를 대상으로 사서 57명에게 독서치료 서비스에 대한 설문지를 수집하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 의학도서관 사서들은 이용자를 대상으로 독서치료 서비스를 제공하는 것에 대해 긍정적으로 인식하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구 결과는 의학도서관의 독서치료 서비스 개발과 운영에 도움을 줄 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the schemes to enhance information service functions by the utilization of CD-ROM in medical school libraries. The results of the study are summarized as follows : 1. The selection and evaluation of CD-ROM database are necessary steps in the planning of a CD-ROM. Before the CD-ROM is selected, therefore, medical libraries must make a practical evaluation criteria in important order of information services environment, characteristics of hardware/software, service requirements, price and cost, etc. 2. If possible, CD-ROM MEDLINE must be suited for the information services environment. 3. In case of the popular core journals, full-text CD-ROM should be gradually purchased. 4. In order to reduce the time required from search of bibliographic informations to receipt of original articles, CD-NET system and library holding administration program must be built up and developed. And channel of information search and order/receipt of original article should be varied. 5. Search education program for medical librarians and users should be enforced, and librarians must play an important role in CD-ROM retrieval consultant and intermediator.

본 연구의 목적은 저작권과 관련하여 도서관 운영자들의 올바른 정보구축과 이용자들의 정당한 이용을 유도하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 원문정보서비스나 상호대차가 빈번하게 이루어지고 있는 32개의 국내 의과대학도서관을 대상으로 분석하였다. 그 결과 저작권과 관련된 내용을 웹사이트에 나타낸 도서관은 9개 대학(28% )으로 매우 낮게 나타났고, 사용용어는 '저작권법'(4개(44.4%))이나 '저작권'(3개(33.3%))이라는 용어를 사용하고 있었으며, 그 위치는 공지사항 및 도서관 안내와 이용안내 메뉴 아래 위치하고 있었다. 저작권과 관련된 세부영역은 자료복사와 전송, 원문 DB이용, 국내외학위논문서비스, FAX/파일전송, Image(Ariel), 해외상호대차로 나타났다. 결과적으로 저작권과 관련된 도서관의 올바른 인식과 이용자의 정당한 이용을 위한 방안이 모색될 필요가 있었다.

The dual-vector system-II (DVS-II), which allows efficient display of Fab antibodies on phage, has been reported previously, but its practical applicability in a phage-displayed antibody library has not been verified. To resolve this issue, we created two small combinatorial human Fab antibody libraries using the DVS-II, and isolation of target-specific antibodies was attempted. Biopanning of one antibody library, termed DVFAB-1L library, which has a $1.3{\times}10^7$ combinatorial antibody complexity, against fluorescein-BSA resulted in successful isolation of human Fab clones specific for the antigen despite the presence of only a single light chain in the library. By using the unique feature of the DVS-II, an antibody library of a larger size, named DVFAB-131L, which has a $1.5{\times}10^9$ combinatorial antibody complexity, was also generated in a rapid manner by combining $1.3{\times}10^7$ heavy chains and 131 light chains and more diverse anti-fluorescein-BSA Fab antibody clones were successfully obtained. Our results demonstrate that the DVS-II can be applied readily in creating phage-displayed antibody libraries with much less effort, and target-specific antibody clones can be isolated reliably via light chain promiscuity of antibody molecules.

We analyzed the author's productivity and cited literatures to assess research activities of medical scientists and scientific properties of medical research in Korea by bibliometric research methods. We tested applicability of Lotka's law and analyzed the author's productivity by means of Brookes graphic model. And we measured core journals, aging factors and half-life in medical literatures by the Bradford's law and the law of obsolescence.

This study examined the perception and use of web 2.0 applications for academic purposes by medical students of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma. The objective was to investigate the medical students' perceptions of web 2.0 applications, web 2.0 tools use, extent of use, perception and purpose for using web 2.0 applications. Descriptive survey method was used for this study. The total population of this study was 3670 and the sample size was 367 representing 10% of the study. The purposive sampling technique was adopted, and the instrument used for this study was questionnaire, a total of 367 copies were administered and 321 were found useful for the study. Percentage means and standard deviation on table and chart were used to analyze the data collected using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software. Findings showed that the perception of web 2.0 applications of medical students AAU was positive and few of web 2.0 applications were used for academic purposes. It was recommended in the study that medical students should be provided with the facilities in a format more familiar to them and used by most of them and institutions need to equip the learning process with the needed facilities which will be of utmost benefit even for future purposes.

본 연구는 국내 의학도서관 이용자 서비스 향상을 위하여 의학사서의 교육프로그램 개선방안을 제시하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 의학사서 역할을 조사하여 교육영역을 항목화한 후 미국의 MLA와 한국의 KMLA 교육프로그램을 비교·분석하였다. 그 결과, 우리나라 의학사서 교육프로그램에 대한 개선점으로 첫째, 다양한 교육프로그램 유형, 교육영역, 교육내용, 전문 분야를 선정한 인증 프로그램의 확대, 관련 기관과의 협업 프로그램, KMLA 가치를 표방하는 교육프로그램 등이 요구된다. 둘째, 현행 교육영역 중 '연구지원서비스', '교육·교육설계·상담' 등에서 다양한 교육프로그램이 진행될 필요성이 있으며 특히, 전혀 교육이 이루어지고 있지 않은 '소비자건강정보서비스', '재난정보서비스' 제공이 필요하다. 또한 '의학 관련 분야 정보서비스' 교육을 위해서는 국내 의학사서 교육 커리큘럼에 관한 규정 제정이 선행되어야 할 필요성이 있다. 셋째, 대면 교육 참여가 어려운 사서를 위하여 온라인 교육내용 제공이 필요한데 이러한 경우에는 교육내용만 제공하고 의학사서점수 부여에는 차등을 두거나 점수를 부여하지 않는 방법 등을 제시하였다.

인터넷의 보급으로 웹페이지가 일상에 중요한 부분을 차지하면서 도서관에서도 웹페이지를 통한 정보봉사와 홍보 등이 일반화되고 있으며, 이러한 도서관 웹페이지의 운영 및 관리에 대한 관심이 높아가고 있다. 본 연구는 웹페이지와 그에 대한 운명 및 관리에 대한 이론적 배경과 서울시에 소재한 의학도서관의 사서들을 대상으로 실시된 설문조사를 바탕으로 도서관의 웹페이지 운영 및 관리에 관한 개선방안을 제시하고 있다.
