해군 병사들의 직무소진과 조직시민행동의 관계: 직무열의와 스마트폰을 통한 사회적 자본의 조절된 매개효과 (The Relationships Among Job Burnout, Organizational Citizenship Behavior, Work Engagement, and Social Capital via Smartphone use in The Navy Soldiers on Duty: A Moderated Mediation Model)

  • 본 연구에서는 직무요구-자원 모형과 자원보존이론을 바탕으로 해군 병사들의 직무소진과 조직시민행동의 관계에서 직무열의와 스마트폰을 통한 사회적 자본의 조절된 매개효과 모형을 검증하였다. 먼저, 직무소진과 조직시민행동의 관계에서 직무열의의 매개효과를 검증하였으며, 직무소진이 직무열의에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 스마트폰을 통한 사회적 자본의 조절효과를 살펴보았다. 최종적으로, 조절효과와 매개효과 모형을 통합하여 직무소진이 직무열의를 통해 조직시민행동에 영향을 미치는 경로에서 스마트폰을 통한 사회적 자본의 조건 값에 따른 간접 효과(조절된 매개효과)를 검증하였다. 본 연구의 모형을 검증하기 위해 해군에서 복무하는 병사 336명을 대상으로 직무소진, 직무열의, 조직시민행동, 스마트폰을 통한 사회적 자본을 측정하는 설문을 실시했으며, 이 중 불성실하게 응답하거나 일부 문항에 응답하지 않은 12명을 제외하고 총 324명의 데이터를 분석에 사용했다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 우선 직무소진과 조직시민 행동의 관계에서 직무열의의 완전 매개효과가 나타났다. 다음으로 직무소진이 직무열의를 매개로 조직시민행동에 이어지는 경로에서 스마트폰을 통한 사회적 자본의 조절된 매개 효과가 검증되었다, 특히 스마트폰을 통한 사회적 자본의 인식 수준 조건값이 높아질수록, 직무소진이 직무열의에 미치는 부적 영향력을 완충했으며, 결과적으로 조직시민행동에 미치는 간접효과의 영향력을 완화한다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의, 시사점과 한계점 및 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

의료분쟁조정법 시행에 따른 성과와 과제 (The Outcomes and Tasks of Act on Medical Dispute Mediation)

  • After several bills for the reasonable medical dispute resolution had been proposed for over twenty years, "Act on Remedy for Damage from Medical Accident and Medical Dispute Mediation" was eventually enacted on April 7, 2011 and came into effect from April 8, 2012. This study evaluates the achievements and results of the past year, suggesting the future improvements or tasks. The main issue of Act on Medical Dispute Mediation is Korea Medical Dispute Mediation and Arbitration Agency. Therefore, the success of the Act depends on the outcomes of Korea Medical Dispute Mediation and Arbitration Agency. Although the Act has been enforced for only one year, this paper examines the outcomes of the Agency with limited materials for its development. Korea Medical Dispute Mediation and Arbitration Agency was established for rapid, fair, and effective medical dispute resolution. Thus, the evaluation of the performances of the Agency is based on the 1) rapidness, 2) fairness, and 3) effectiveness of the dispute resolution. To sum up, the system earned positive evaluations as for the rapidness and fairness, but some problems were indicated with regard to the effectiveness. As the system of medical dispute mediation and arbitration in Korea has no parallel in the world, other countries show many interests in it. The rapid and fair medical dispute resolution is of benefit in both patients and medical institutes and decreases social costs. As the Act had a difficult passage through Parliament, it should be maintained and improved continuously.

How Does the Presentation Mode of Product Information Affect Product Evaluation? : The Mediation of Construal Level and the Moderation of Response Time

  • The purpose of this study was to examine how the presentation mode (sequential- vs. simultaneous-mode) of information influences its evaluation. Three experiments revealed the interaction effect between the presentation mode and the valence of the product information. When respondents read about the positive aspects of the product, the evaluation was higher in the simultaneous presentation mode than in the sequential presentation mode. For negative product information, respondents' evaluation was higher in the sequential presentation mode than in the simultaneous presentation mode. The simultaneous presentation mode intensified the impact of the information valence on evaluation. This study proposed that the sequential and the simultaneous presentation modes prime high and low construal levels, respectively. The mediation analysis provides support for such a prediction. Finally, the mediating effect of construal levels in evaluation was shown to disappear when respondents focused on the product information for a longer duration, while the mediation effect remained when the response time was short.

청소년의 리더십생활기술을 매개로 자원봉사활동이 민주시민의식에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Volunteering Activity on Democratic Citizen Consciousness as a Mediation of Adolescents' Leadership Living Technique)

  • 본 연구는 청소년의 민주시민의식을 고취시키기 위해 구조방정식을 적용하여 분석하였다. 즉, 청소년의 리더십생활기술을 매개로 자원봉사활동이 민주시민의식에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 충청북도에 위치한 중 고등학교 학생 386명을 대상으로 설문조사 하였다. 주요분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 민주시민의식에 미치는 영향을 살펴보면, 자원봉사참여 만족도(${\beta}=.215$), 학습능력기술(${\beta}=.297$), 집단활동기술(${\beta}=.145$)이 정적(+)인 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 둘째, 매개효과 분석결과, 자원봉사활동이 민주시민의식에 직접효과(.35)와 리더십생활기술을 매개로 간접효과($.42{\times}.65=.29$)가 모두 유의미한 것으로 확인되어 부분매개효과로 나타났다. 그러므로 청소년의 민주시민의식을 향상시키기 위해서 자원봉사 활동의 적극적 지원과 함께 청소년의 일상생활 속에서 리더십 기능을 수행할 수 있는 종합적인 노력이 필요하다.

간호사의 감정노동이 이직의도에 미치는 영향: 소진의 매개효과와 오센틱 리더십의 조절된 매개효과 (The Effect of Nurse's Emotional Labor on Turnover Intention: Mediation Effect of Burnout and Moderated Mediation Effect of Authentic Leadership)

  • Purpose: To investigate the effect of nurses' emotional labor on their turnover intention that was mediated by burnout and to examine the moderated mediation effect of authentic leadership. Methods: A total of 227 nurses working at two general hospitals in Seoul were recruited from March 21 to May 6 in 2016. Emotional labor including surface acting and deep acting; burnout factors such as emotional exhaustion and personal accomplishment; and turnover intention were assessed. The data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 and SPSS PROCESS macro. Results: Surface acting significantly increased emotional exhaustion and reduced personal accomplishment. Deep acting significantly increased personal accomplishment. Emotional exhaustion significantly increased turnover intention. Conversely, personal accomplishment significantly reduced turnover intention. Surface acting had an indirect effect on turnover intention that was mediated by emotional exhaustion. Deep acting had an indirect effect on turnover intention that was mediated by personal accomplishment. Authentic leadership had a moderated mediation effect on the relationship between surface acting and turnover intention that was mediated by emotional exhaustion. Conclusion: The findings of this study indicate that the establishment of strong authentic leadership by head nurses would help nurses reduce their burnout and turnover intention. Conducting intervention studies would be also important to promote better work environments that would enable nurses to fortify the positive aspect of emotional labor and to reduce their burnout levels.

The Effect of Authentic Leadership and Psychological Contract Breach on Organizational Cynicism: Focusing on the Moderated Mediation of Followers' Identification with the Leader

  • This study sets out to verify the moderated mediation of followers' identification with the leader on the indirect effect of authentic leadership on organizational cynicism via psychological contract breach. A total of 279 responses from employees at companies with more than 500 employees and of diverse industries were used for analysis. Our findings showed that authentic leadership (X) had a negative indirect effect on organizational cynicism (Y) via psychological contract breach (M), and that this indirect effect was negatively moderated by identification with the leader, thereby identifying its role as a moderating mediator. Further verification revealed that the indirect effect ($X{\rightarrow}M{\rightarrow}Y$) was conditional upon the value of the moderating variable, where identification with the leader had a significant effect in the 25%, 50%, 75%, 90% levels, but not in the 10% level. The findings of this research empirically verified that greater exertion of authentic leadership lowers psychological contract breach among organization members and, consequently, organizational cynicism. In particular, this effect was stronger when the organization member identified him/herself more strongly with the leader. Our findings extend the body of knowledge on the relationship between authentic leadership and organizational cynicism and expands the possibilities for future research.

학교부적응이 우울을 매개로 청소년비행에 미치는 영향 - 봉사활동시간의 조절된 매개효과 - (The moderated mediation effect of volunteer time in the effect of school maladjustment on juvenile delinquency through depression)

  • This study empirically examined the moderated mediation effect of volunteer time in the effect of school maladjustment on juvenile delinquency through depression as negative emotions. For empirical confirmation, 7,052 individuals were collected by stratified multi-stage cluster sampling among 4th to 6th grade elementary school, 1st to 3rd grade junior high school, and 1st to 3rd grade high school students in May 2015. This data was used for analysis. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, school maladjustment directly affects juvenile delinquency and indirectly influences juvenile delinquency through depression. In other words, the higher the school maladjustment, the higher the juvenile delinquency. Also, the higher the school maladjustment, the higher the depression, and the higher the depression, the higher the juvenile delinquency. Second, the volunteer time has a significant effect on juvenile delinquency through interaction with the depression. In other words, it was proved that the moderated mediation effect of volunteer time in the effect of school maladjustment on juvenile delinquency through depression as negative emotions. Based on this, policy implications were examined.

신경증-스마트폰 중독-학교적응의 매개관계에 대한 자기 통제력의 조절된 매개효과 검증 (Moderated Mediation Effect of Self-control on the Relationship of 'Neuroticism - Smart Phone Addiction - School Adaptation')

  • 본 연구의 주된 관심은 신경증-스마트폰 중독-학교적응에 이르는 매개과정에 대한 자기 통제력의 조절효과, 즉 조절된 매개효과를 확인하는 것이었다. 이를 위해서 스마트폰 중독과 관련해서 가장 취약한 계층으로 인식되고 있는 중학생을 연구의 대상으로 하였으며, 남녀 중학생 1,400명을 대상으로 설문조사 방법을 통하여 자료를 수집하였다. 분석결과는 자기 통제력의 조절된 매개효과를 지지하는 것으로 나타났다. 종속변인인 학교적응의 세부 요인에 대해서는, 학교만족과 학업성취가 종속변인일 때에는 유의미한 결과가 나왔으며, 대인관계가 종속변인일 때에는 유의미한 결과가 나오지 않았다. 자기 통제력의 조절효과와 관련해서도, 통계적으로 유의미한 결과가 나타났다. 세부적으로 자기 통제력의 수준이 높을 때에 신경증의 수준에 관계없이 일관되게 자기 통제력의 수준이 낮을 때보다 스마트폰 중독의 점수가 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 스마트폰 중독의 원인과 결과를 하나의 연결된 과정으로 검증하였다는 것과 이러한 과정에 대해서 신경증과 자기 통제력이라는 2개의 성격 변인 간의 상호작용을 통해서 조절효과 및 조절된 매개효과를 검증하였다는 것에서 의의를 찾을 수 있다. 마지막으로 본 연구와 관련된 시사점 및 제한점이 결론 및 논의에서 다루어졌다.

청소년의 학대경험이 자살생각에 미치는 영향: 자아존중감에 의해 조절된 우울 및 불안의 매개효과 분석 (Effect of Adolescents' Abuse Experience on Suicidal Ideation: Focused on Moderated Mediation Effect of Self-esteem on Depression and Anxiety)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the moderating mediation effect of self-esteem on the relations among adolescents' abuse experiences, depression and anxiety, and suicidal ideation. Methods: The participants were selected using secondary data from a population in the 2012 Korea Welfare Panel Survey (KOWEPS). Data were analyzed using SPSS 15.0 and SPSS Macro, and bootstrapping and hierarchical regression analysis were performed to analyze multilevel models. Results: First, analysis of the mediating effect of the adolescents' abuse showed that there was significant mediating influence between suicidal ideation and depression and anxiety. Second, hierarchical regression analysis showed that self-esteem had significant mediation effect on depression and anxiety in adolescents' suicidal ideation. Third, SPSS Macro showed that self-esteem also significantly moderated the mediating effect of adolescents' abuse experiences on suicidal ideation through depression and anxiety. Conclusion: The study results suggest that in future research on adolescent's abuse experience, the risk of suicide in depression and anxiety scores should be selected through evaluation of each individual's self-esteem scale. Coping strategies with immediate early intervention should be suggested.

객실승무원의 업무 상황인식 저하가 안전행동에 미치는 영향 연구 - 객실승무원의 계획성 매개변수 효과를 포함하여 - (A Research on the Effect of a Cabin Crews' Low Level of Work Situational Awareness to Their Safety Behavior - Including the Mediation Effect Analysis on Cabin Crew's Forward Planning -)

  • Work situational awareness test (WSAT) has been utilized to estimate the fatigue risk of workers who worked with time pressure or latent accident risks at their work environment. Thus researchers decided to use WSAT to estimate fatigue risk of cabin crews of an airline in Korea and to analyze empirically how such risk might have an effect on cabin crew's safety behavior. This was because there had not been enough research on accessing cabin crews' fatigue and analyzing its risk for the flight safety. In addition, the mediation effect of cabin crew's planning was also analyzed through Sobel-test by researchers among external factors such as lack of concentration, attention deficit, distraction and safety behavior. According to empirical analysis, it was found attention deficit and distraction of cabin crews due to fatigue during the flight had a significant negative effect on their planning. Planning was also proven to have mediation effect to cabin crew's safety behavior.
