Traditionally, cervical interventions have been performed under fluoroscopy. But radiation exposure is the major concern when obtaining fluoroscopic images and even under real-time fluoroscopy with contrast media or CT guidance, some cases of serious spinal cord injuries, cerebellar and brain stem infarction have been reported by unintentional intra-arterial injections especially during the transforaminal root blocks. Recently, the use of ultrasound-guided cervical interventions have increased. Ultrasound offers visualization of soft tissues including major neurovascular structures and also allows to observe the spread of injectant materials around the target structure. Ultrasound is radiation free, easy to use and the image can be performed continuously while the injectant is visualized in real-time, increasing the precision of injection. Importantly, ultrasound allows visualization of major nerves and vessels and thus leads to improve safety of cervical interventions by decreasing the incidence of injury or injection into nearby vasculature. We therefore reviewed to investigate the feasibility of performing cervical interventions under real-time ultrasound guidance.
Tastes and odor in water caused by geosmin and 2-MIB are the major customer complaints for water utilities. Therefore, control of geosmin and 2-MIB is a worldwide concern. In this study, the effects of biofilter media type (three different activated carbons and anthracite), empty bed contact time (EBCT) and temperature on the removal of geosmin and 2-MIB in BAC filters were investigated. Experiments were conducted at three different water temperatures (5, 15 and $25^{\circ}C$) and four different EBCTs (5, 10, 15, and 20 min). The experimental results indicated that the coal based BAC retained more bacterial biomass on the surface of the activated carbon than the other BACs, and increasing EBCT or increasing water temperature also increased the geosmin and 2-MIB removal in BAC filters. To achieve above 50% of removal efficiency for geosmin and 2-MIB in a BAC filter, above 10 min EBCT at $5^{\circ}C$ and 5 min EBCT at above $15^{\circ}C$ were required. The kinetic analysis for the biodegradation of geosmin and 2-MIB indicated a first-order reaction rate at various water temperatures. Data obtained from the BAC filters at various temperatures were also used to evaluate pseudo first-order rate constants for geosmin and 2-MIB. The half-lives evaluated at 5, 15, and $25^{\circ}C$ for geosmin and 2-MIB ranged from 2.39 to 10.31 min and 3.35 to 13.97 min, respectively, which can be used to assist water utilities in designing and operating BAC system.

Objective: Human milk bank is known as best alternative option for sick infants. However, only two human milk banks (HMBs) are working in Korea. In the present study, we evaluated the awareness on the HMB in female health care provider to find out the issues that would help facilitating HMB establishment in Korea. Methods: The survey questionnaire was developed by a team composed with neonatologists, obstetricians, nurses, nutritionists, and health care specialists. The survey was performed for female health care workers in Soon Chun Hyang Cheonan Hospital between March and June in 2016. Eighty-eight of 110 questionnaires were collected and the results were analyzed. Results: Most of subjects were found to have correct knowledge on the breast milk feeding. However, only 49% of subjects had awareness of the presence of HMB. Unfortunately, less than half of them could get information about HMB by official way including mass media. In addition, 76% of subjects were found not to want to use HMB. Most important reason was found as a concern on the safety of donor milk including life style of donors, infection controls, and possible nutritional loss of banked milk. Conclusion: The purpose and function of HMB was not widely educated and it seems to be one of most important reasons why women have negative concept about HMB in Korea. Thus, further study is warranted with more numbers of subjects after active public education about the HMB.

This paper addresses the safety concern that the SOH of batteries in electric vehicles decreases sharply when drivers change or their driving patterns change. Such a change can overload the battery, reduce the battery life, and induce safety issues. This paper aims to present the SOH as the changes on a dashboard of an electric vehicle in real-time in response to user pattern changes. As part of the training process I used battery data among the datasets provided by NASA, and built models incorporating linear regression and ARIMA, and predicted new battery data that contained user changes based on previously trained models. Therefore, as a result of the prediction, the linear regression is better at predicting some changes in SOH based on the user's pattern change if we have more battery datasets with a wide range of independent values. The ARIMA model can be used if we only have battery datasets with SOH data.

Various technical methods are applied for removing water from the water-retaining media, and the energy efficiency is the main concern in those methods. The electroosmotic process is studied as an efficient way for dewatering. An experimental electroosmotic reactor is designed and used for evaluating the effects of operational variables. The operational variables such as the electrical fields and the structure of water-retaining medias were studied. Three different shapes of polarized electric fields in ranges of 0-100 V/cm and 0-10 kHz are used as the source of electric voltage. The effect of electroosmotic process with respect to the structural variation is estimated by filling the electroosmotic reactor with the glass beads in 0.18 mm, 0.35 mm and 1.2 mm in diameters. 6% of water removal is obtained in the simulating electroosmotic reactor of glass beads. The estimated energy consumption in the simulating electroosmotic was 330~490 cal/g-water.

POI refers to the point of Interest in Location-Based Social Networks (LBSNs). With the rapid development of mobile devices, GPS, and the Web (web2.0 and 3.0), LBSNs have attracted many users to share their information, physical location (real-time location), and interesting places. The tremendous demand of the user in LBSNs leads the recommendation systems (RSs) to become more widespread attention. Recommendation systems assist users in discovering interesting local attractions or facilities and help social network service (SNS) providers based on user locations. Therefore, it plays a vital role in LBSNs, namely POI recommendation system. In the machine learning model, most of the training data are stored in the centralized data storage, so information that belongs to the user will store in the centralized storage, and users may face privacy issues. Moreover, sharing the information may have safety concerns because of uploading or sharing their real-time location with others through social network media. According to the privacy concern issue, the paper proposes a recommendation model to prevent user privacy and eliminate traditional RS problems such as cold-start and data sparsity.

Bacterial leaf blight in carrot is one of the most important diseases in the worldwide. In the past decade, its introduction into Korea is causing great concern due to the potential damage to carrot crops domestically. This bacterial disease is caused by Xanthomonas hortorum pv. carotae (Xhc). This study aimed to isolate and identify bacterial strains from the soil of carrot farms in Jeju Island. The bacterial isolates showing characteristics similar with those of Xhc were selected when cultured on artificial media. Through DNA sequencing and analysis based on NCBI data, some of the selected bacterial strains were identified as Xhc. Furthermore, the bacterial strains caused the typical symptom of bacterial leaf blight after inoculation on carrot leaves. The results of this study showed the potential establishment of Xhc in the soil of Jeju Island and it may be valuable data for establish a strategy preventing the domestic spread of carrot bacterial leaf blight in the future.

This paper focuses on developing a first-person 3D game to provide extreme fear to players through realistic camera direction utilizing the features of action cameras. As a new camera production technique, we introduce perspective distortion using a wide-angle lens and camera shake when moving to provide higher immersion than existing games. The theme of the game is horror room escape, and the player starts with a firearm, but in order to overcome the concern that the game's difficulty is low due to the use of firearms, the player is asked to control the use of firearms by imposing burdens such as chasing monsters and reducing the number of magazines. The significance of this paper is that we developed a new type of 3D game that maximizes the fear effect of players through realistic production.
All kinds of environmental problems are related to each local and geographical environment. For this reason, it is necessary for schools in each region to provide environmental education which suits the geographical character of their particular region. In order to provide solutions to the environmental problems of each school's geographic region, the goal of this research is as follows: 1. We can make students realize the relationship between the human race and the environment by teaching according to the environmental conditions in each local area. 2. By teaching students about the problems in their own local environment, we can increase their concern about the state of their local surroundings. 3. When teaching about the environment, it is useful to use educational material which suits the character of each local region. 4. Students' interest in environmental preservation can be aroused through extracurricular environmental activities. The ares concerned are Chonnam and Kwangju City, which are divided into urban, industrial, rural, coastal, and mountainous areas. The conclusion about considering environmental education in environmental school social studies is as follows: 1. Kwangju and Chonnam should be divided into five sections, each with similar geographical environments. This will be an improvement over the old uniform approach to environmental studies in which all regions were treated as being the same each region will now receive special attention. 2. It is necessary to maximize the efficient use of the Environmental Education Building. When Media, environmental data and special materials for environmental education are used effectively, teachers can lead class effectively and students will be more interested in the class. 3. We can detect the cause of pollution, increase interest in the environment and easily solve environmental problems by collecting and displaying environmental educational materials. 4. An environmental education corner could boost students' interest in environmental problems and could act as a kind of bridge between theoretical and practical education. 5. Media and environmental data must be specialized according to the geographic character of each region. In this way, we can expect to improve the quality of environmental education over the simplistic environmental education of previous years. 6. Students will become interested in the problems of the region in which they live through social studies, and primarily through the environmental curriculum. 7. We can prevent learning deficiencies by making a consistent teaching plan. The teaching and learning methods will be improved and the teachers will be proud of what they teach. 8. The purpose of the Education Procedure Content Analysis is to make teaching and learning concise and easy by systematizing environmental and related subjects. This can be done by adding an environmental unit to the geographic section of social studies. 9. Citizens' interest in their own residential environment can be increased through action by sustaining environmental preservation movements to local region people.

Depending on the field of smart industry has become increasingly widespread, the digital signage industry as advertising and content industry is emerging. However, this industry is growing rapidly it is not the reason for that is lack of a legal definition or system. The current legal system merely existing laws that apply to the use of outdoor advertising such as advertising and outdoor advertising Electrical, according to a separate law on digital signage is still is not enough. Most of the current legal system between a size that it is put in the control object, its type, the installation location and details and locations of areas in accordance with the regulation member of the law which can reduce the effectiveness of such a business to control them collectively There is concern that the differences are caused by unification can be difficult. In reality, the institutions of the new law was necessary, organized under the existing regulation rather than promoting new laws to screen the effectiveness of the national business media industry through a kind of standardization and unification of the digital signage industry in the future creation of a jurisdiction other than safety administration Science It is important to foster.
