This essay begins with the following questions; "What is a fundamental source of media power?" and "How can the media power dominate market?". This essay aims at answering the questions. I made my selection of countries such as Venezuela, Italy and UK for this article with a political economic approach. This analysis found evidence that an enormous conglomerate ownership, and alliance or convergence between media and political power are two fundamental source of the media power. With the integration of newspaper and television the media monopoly increased their supplies and political influences as I have shown. Despite the growing threat of media monopoly power to democracy and public interest, in recent years, governments worldwide have chosen to ease regulations.

This essay deals with the bulk of problems of media raised by social inequality. I attempted to examine the relationship between inequality and media/information. In adopting the method of political economy based on dialectical viewpoint, I argue that collaboration among Chaebol, media, power result in the media capitalism. This mode of production has brought about the decline of public service and democracy. It led the Korean industrial capitalism to media capitalism. This mechanism is a dominant but unfair system with grasping of wealth, power, information. The media capitalism, based on profit, privatizations, power monopoly, remains democracy and public service in retreat. Chaebol-media-power complex plays an important role in cementing the establishment. We are reminded how much the dominant system has deteriorated the public interests of the media market and information.

The media movement is a movement to separate from the political power and to dismantle the media power and to seek the control of citizens' media. Political power is the biggest factor that violates the fairness and independence of the media in the public domain. On the other hand, the factor that interferes with the healthy and responsible media of the press in the private sector is the media power originating from the owner. Citizens 'media campaign emphasizes citizens' mobility as a subject that monitors the political power and media power that have the sovereignty of the media belonging to the citizen and may infringe on this sovereignty.In the Lee Myung Bak - Park Geun Hye regime, the civil press movement was a period of resistance and struggle. Citizen media campaigns have completely collapsed with governance. As a result, the intellectuals who have expertise in the media have lost their place in the discussion and presentation of the policy alternatives in which the policy production is centered. The influence of citizen media organizations, which are centered on activists rather than citizen's direct action, is limited. In order to strengthen the power of the media reform, it is necessary to reconstruct social forces such as civil society, media unions, media organizations and political forces. We should also look for various ways in which citizens can participate actively in the agenda and activities of the movement. In addition, it is necessary to expand the movement of the media.

In this paper, we present a CPW-based 77 GHz 3-stage power amplifier MMIC for automotive radar systems. The power amplifier MMIC has been realized using a 130 nm $In_{0.88}$GaP/$In_{0.4}$AlAs/$In_{0.4}$GaAs metamorphic high-electron mobility transistors(mHEMTs) technology and an output stage with a cascode configuration. This produced a good output power and gain performance at 77 GHz. The fabricated power amplifier MMIC exhibited a small-signal gain of 18 dB, an output power of 17 dBm and 9 % power added efficiency(PAE) at 77 GHz with a total gate width of 800 ${\mu}m$ in the output stage. These performances could be useful to low-cost and small-sized components for 77 GHz automotive radar systems.

A K-band low-power miniaturized planar-type hyperthermia system was developed to replace massive and expensive equipment. The system consists of a VCO with a buffer amplifier, a high-power amplifier module, a 20-dB-coupled line coupler, a chip circulator and two power detectors for signal generation, amplification and power monitoring. All these components have been implemented in planar form on two module blocks. The total size of the hyperthermia system was less than $10\times6.5\times3\;cm^3$. In order to verify the system performance, ablations were carried out on nude mice xenografted with human breast cancer. Ablation results show performance comparable to the massive components-based system. This work shows the feasibility of a low-cost miniaturized hyperthermia system for practical clinical applications.

What Michel Foucault has interpreted about Jeremy Bentham' Panopticon in the point of power relationship of ones's gaze is put in comparison with the characteristics shown in the modern media and mutual meanings are interpreted in the respect of a power relationship of modern gaze. Modern people communicating through media are placed in certain type of power relationship. This study analyzed the difference of it in the respect of the power of gaze in Panopticon and the consumption of information. Panopticon assumes single-network supervision, that is, one-way gaze. However, in modern media, interactive communication is possible based upon the development of information telecommunication technology. Therefore, this study aims to compare and study modern single-network supervision and multi-networks supervision based on information telecommunication technology. The development of various media such as internet, mobile phone and smart card has changed the single-network supervision system structured since modern times into the multi-network supervision system. 'Gaze-power' presented in the relationship to media enables us to discuss the problem of mutual receptiveness, the presence of various powers according to information structure and consumption power. In particular, the form provided by modern media has the complexity of mutual communication in the relationship of multi-networks, rather not assuming only one-way nature of single-network. Therefore, the approach of communication issue provided by modern media in the respect of multi-networks relationship was done by the power relationship of gaze in the respect of information communication. Gaze determines the power of watching. In addition, the visualization format aims at the power.

A C-band 50 W high-power microwave monolithic integrated circuit amplifier for use in a phased-array radar system was designed and fabricated using commercial $0.25{\mu}m$ AlGaN/GaN technology. This two-stage amplifier can achieve a saturated output power of 50 W with higher than 35% power-added efficiency and 22 dB small-signal gain over a frequency range of 5.5 GHz to 6.2 GHz. With a compact $14.82mm^2$ chip area, an output power density of $3.2W/mm^2$ is demonstrated.

The salient features of UWB(Ultra WideBand) networks such as high-rate communications, low interference with other radio systems, and low power consumption bring many benefits to users, thus enabling several new applications such as wireless universal serial bus (WUSB) for connecting personal computers (PCs) to their peripherals and the consumer-electronics (CE) in people's living rooms. Because the size of multimedia data frame, WiMedia device must transmit the fragment of MSDU. However, when the fragment of MSDU is lost, WiMedia device maintains active mode for the time to complete the transmission MSDU, and there is a problem that unnecessary power consumption occurs. Therefore we propose new power management scheme to reduce unnecessary power consumption of WiMedia devices in the case that the fragment is lost.

Nuclear power provides 30% of our country's power, which acts as one of the most important power sources. But on March 11, 2011, the earthquake that hit Northeast Japan with a 9.0 magnitude, known as the Fukushima Reactor Leak Incident has created fear in the public's mind that 'nuclear power is unstable'. The reason for such distrust are many but inaccurate reports of the incident by the media has added to the fear. This paper will analyze the contents of the media report of the heavy water leakage in reactor 3 at the Wolsong Nuclear Power Plant on October 4, 1999 to discover the problematic areas and ascertain a more appropriate method of media coverage.

In this paper, the function design of smart media platform control with smart monitoring, and displaying modules which have the priorities of smart plug based smart outlet, is proposed for electrical suppliance of essential information appliance in emergency power consumption situation(blackout, peaktime etc). The effect of power management will be maximized by this smart gateway interlocking with ESS(energy storage system) which has bi-directional power transmission control modules, and smart outlet based on the priority control actions.
