4차 산업혁명을 통해 지능형 연결 사회를 기반으로 한 스마트 시티가 형성되고 있다. 스마트 시티에서 태양 에너지를 비롯한 신재생 에너지의 사용이 증가하고 있으나, 신재생 에너지의 모니터링 및 관리의 어려움으로 인한 시스템 수요가 증가하고 있다. 또한 환경 및 물리적 요인에 대한 데이터를 수집하고 모니터링하기 위한 무선 센서네트워크 기반 IoT 기술이 접목되고 있으나, 실시간 측정을 위한 안정적인 전원 공급이 필수적인 상황이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 LoRaWan을 비롯한 IoT 기술 기반의 스마트 시티에 적용할 수 있는 효율적인 태양 에너지 기반 전력 관리 기법에 대하여 제안하였으며, 이를 기반으로 태양광 패널 시스템의 오동작 방지 및 모니터링을 수행할 수 있다. 제안한 기술을 통해 태양광 패널 시스템에서 생성된 전력을 최대로 출력하여 각 그리드에 분배할 수 있으며, Simulink 기반 시스템 모델링과 실시간 에뮬레이션을 기반으로 효율성을 입증하였다.

The Good Agriculture Practice (GAP) program, being established in China, is an optimal way for the sustainable utilization of the medicinal plant and animal resources. Most frequently used Chinese materia medica will be mainly produced from the GAP bases in the future. To assure the successful operation of GAP program, standard operating procedure (SOP) should be implemented for specific plants or animals. Both GAP and SOP include the requirements in many aspects from the ecological environment of cultivation place, germplasm and varieties, seedling and transplant, fertilization, irrigation, and field care, to harvest and process, package, transport and storage. As a complex system, GAP demands strong commitment from the pharmaceutical industry, local administrative involvement, long term R&D support, and years of time of development before a satisfactory result can be achieved.

This research presents a three-dimensional modeling technique for a flexible sheet. A relative coordinate formulation is used to represent the kinematics of the sheet. The three-dimensional flexible sheet is modeled by multi-rigid bodies interconnected by out-of-plane joints and plate force elements. A parent node is designated as a master body and is connected to the ground by a floating joint to cover the rigid motion of the flexible sheet in space. Since the in-plane deformation of a sheet such as a paper and a film is relatively small, compared to out-of-plane deformation, only the out-of-plane deformation is accounted for in this research. The recursive formulation has been adopted to solve the equations of motion efficiently. An example is presented to show the validity of the proposed method.

디지털 방송 시스템 구축에 있어서 시스템 출력단의 기저대역 신호와 RF 신호가 포함하고 있는 MPEG-2 TS(Transport stream) 영역의 데이터를 분석하는 것은 시스템 경로상의 오류 유무와 그 위치를 파악하거나 유추하는데 중요한 자료를 제공한다. 송출되는 스트림은 RF(Radio frequency) 영역과 TS 영역에서 각각 여러 종류의 오류를 포함할 수 있으며, 이러한 오류를 정정하는 것은 셋톱 박스와의 정합, 안정된 수신성능 보장, 그리고 시청자 편의 등의 측면에서 매우 주요하다. 본 논문에서는 2001년부터 시작되어 현재 관악산에서 송출되고 있는 국내 지상파 디지털 TV(DTV, ATSC) 5개 채널중 지상파 방송 3사의 채널을 선택하여 이 채널의 MPEG TS 스트림상에서의 오류, PSIP(Program and System Information Protocol) 상에서의 오류, RF 영역에서의 오류 등 DTV 시스템에서 발생 가능한 오류들을 2001년 12월부터 2달 동안 측정하고 분석하였으며, 미국에서 측정한 RF 및 TS 스트림의 측정 및 분석 결과와 비교하였다.

지능형 차량정보 시스템은 21세기 교통체계로 기대를 모으고 있는 ITS(Intellligent Transport System)의 구축에 핵심이 되는 시스템이다. 이러한 시스템을 구현하기 위해서 종래의 네비게이션, 차량용 무선통신, 차량진단 등의 단일화된 시스템을 통합적으로 수행하며, 계측 또는 수집된 데이터를 분석하여 지능적으로 차량의 주행 상태를 분석 / 진단함으로써 차량에서의 안전한 운행과 운전자 및 승객들이 요구하는 정보 또는 다양한 서비스를 제공하기 위한 새로운 모듈의 개발이 절실히 필요한 실정이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 CAN(Controller Area Network) BUS을 이용한 차량의 상태수집 모듈과 능동 데이터베이스에 관해 기술하고 이를 통합하기 위한 임베디드 보드를 이용한 CAN BUS연계형 차량용 복합통신모듈의 프로토타입 H/W을 구성하여 실용화 가능성 및 유용성을 제시하고자 하였다.

본 논문에서는 PC 환경에서 지상파 디지털 멀티미디어 방송(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting, DMB)을 수신할 수 있는 PC 기반 지상파 DMB 수신기용 백엔드 시스템 개발에 대해 서술한다. 지상파 DMB는 기존의 지상파 아날로그 또는 디지털 TV에 비해 탁월한 이동 수신 성능을 보인다. 본 논문에서는 국내 지상파 DMB 표준안에 부합하는 수신기의 백엔드 (back-end)를 PC 환경에서 소프트웨어로 구현하였다. 지상파 DMB는 유럽의 디지털 오디오 방송(Digital Audio Broadcasting, DAB) 표준인 EUREKA-147을 기반으로 MPEG-4 표준에 의한 멀티미디어 서비스를 제공한다. 지상파 DMB의 멀티미디어 서비스는 MPEG-4 AVC(Advance Video Coding) 압축 비디오와 BSAC(Bit Slice Arithmetic Coding) 압축 오디오를 MPEG-4 시스템의 SL(Sync Layer) 표준으로 패킷화 후 MPEG-2 TS(Transport Stream)에 실어 DAB의 스티림 모드를 통해 전송하는 방식을 사용한다. 본 논문에서는, 지상파 DMB 수신을 위한 프론트엔드(front-end)는 외장형 기기를 이용하고, 이로부터 USB 인터페이스를 통해 기저대역 다중화 스트림을 PC 상으로 업로드한 뒤, 소프트웨어에 의해 역다중화하고 압축을 푼 후, 오디오와 비디오를 재생하는 지상파 DMB 백엔드 시스템을 구현하고 이를 검증하였다.

This study proposes a technique to estimate the material property of a paper by using an experimental methods and commercial CAE software. Under gravitation, if one side of the paper is attached to the ground, the opposite side of paper is largely deformed, and vibrates freely. Since the paper has an orthotropic characteristic due to its treatment, the deformations in two orthogonal directions of the dry paper are different. An experimental method to measure the static deformation of the paper introduces this phenomenon. And dynamic behavior, frequency of free vibration is measured. And then. virtual prototypes that can represent the static and dynamic behavior are modeled by using the commercial CAE software $RecurDyn^{MT}$/MTT3D, which has been widely used by the printer makers. While comparing the deformation and frequency from the experiment and simulation, a design optimization technique in the commercial CAE software of R-INOPL, $RecurDyn^{TM}$/AutoDesign is used to estimate the material property such as Young's modulus, shear modulus and density of the paper.

We see an energy fucused smart city evolution of the UK along with the project of "Smart London Plan (SLP)." A theoretical logic of business model innovation has been discussed and a research framework of evolving energy focused smart city is formulated. The starting point is the silo system. In the second stage, the private investment in smart meters establishes a basement for next stages. As results, the UK's smart energy sector has evolved from smart meter installation through smart grid to new business models such as water-energy nexus and microgrid. Before smart meter installation of the government, the electricity system was centralized. However, after consumer engagement plan has been set to make them understand benefits that they can secure through smart meters, the customer behavior has been changed. The data analytics firm enables greater understanding of consumer behavior and it helps energy industry to be smart via controlling, securing and using that data to improve the energy system. In the third stage, distribution network operators (DNOs)' access to smart meter data has been allowed and the segmentation starts. In the fourth stage, with collaboration of Ofwat and Ofgem, it is possible to eliminate unnecessary duplication of works and reduce interest conflict between water and electricity. In the fifth stage, smart meter and grid has been integrated as an "adaptive" system and a transition from DNO to DSO is accomplished for the integrated operation. Microgrid is a prototype for an "adaptive" smart grid. Previous steps enable London to accomplish a platform leadership to support the increasing electrification of the heating and transport sector and smart home.

본 논문은 MPEG-2 시스템 스트림 영역에서의 접합(splicing)이 MPEG-2 비디오 화면의 손상 없는 재생을 보장할 수 있는 방법을 연구한다. 기존의 접합은 MPEG-2 시스템의 TS 영역에서 수행하고 있는데, 비디오 문제로 한정시킨 영상편집의 관점에서 보면, 화면의 깨짐이 없는 임의의 픽처에서의 접합을 보장할 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 MPEG-2 시스템의 PES 영역에서의 비디오 화면을 고려한 접합을 다룸으로서 상위의 TS와 PS에서 동일한 목적의 접합을 수행할 수 있도록 하는 연구의 기반을 마련하고자 하였다. 그러기 위해서 먼저, 자각 다른 두 PES 스트림의 접합 시 발생하는 문제와 이로 인해 비디오 화면에 미치게 되는 영향을 비교, 분석하였고. 이를 토대로, PES 영역에서 직접 비디오 화면의 재생시에 일어날 수 있는 문제의 원인을 해결하는 방안을 모색하였다. 그 결과, PES 패킷의 헤더 정보 중 PES 패킷 길이 필드 값을 이용하면, PES 패킷의 상태와 관계없이 GOP 단위의 접합을 보장할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

4차 산업 혁명에 기반한 기술발전 및 항공사들의 고객 유치를 위한 경쟁으로 인해 항공기 인테리어 시장에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있으며, 그 일환으로 국내에서는 FAA Part.25급 민항기를 대상으로 한 CDS (Cabin Display System)이 개발되고 있다. CDS는 IDPM (Integrated Display Processing Module)로 제어되는 대형 Flexible 및 투명 OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diodes)를 활용하여 승객들에게 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스를 제공하는 시스템으로 고품질의 서비스 제공을 위해 대용량의 미디어 콘텐츠 활용이 필수적으로 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 대용량 파일들의 효율적인 Data Load Process를 수행하기 위한 새로운 방안을 제시하고 그 구현 및 성능을 다룬다. 본 연구 결과는 기존 ARINC-615A 대비 Data Load Process 개발 비용의 절감과 더불어 신뢰성 높은 대용량 파일 전송이 필요한 항공 장비의 Data Load Process 개발에 대체 적용이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.
