ADINA 구조해석을 이용한 PCT 거더교 좌굴 평가에 관한 연구 (Evaluation of Buckling in Prestressed Composite Truss Girder using ADINA Structure Analysis)

  • 최근에는 이러한 법공학 분야에 유한요소법 및 유한체적법을 이용한 다양한 시뮬레이션 기법을 활용하여 안전사고 및 재난사고에 대한 법적 책임문제를 해명하고 보다 정확한 원인분석을 통해 원인을 규명하고 있는 추세이다. 본 연구에서는 ADINA 구조해석을 이용하여 단경교 거더교 붕괴사고에 관한 좌굴 원인분석을 수행하였다. 본 연구에서 다루는 사고는 단경교 거더교 신축 중 상현 슬래브 구성을 위한 콘크리트 타설 중 교량이 붕괴된 사고로 원설계 공법에서 가설 공법이 변경되었고 상현 콘크리트 블록 및 격벽 콘크리트 등을 미시공한 상태에서 그 다음 단계인 상현 슬래브 콘크리트 타설을 진행함으로써 구조적 불안정을 가져와 거더가 좌굴이 발생하여 붕괴된 사고이다. 사고 재현 실험이 불가한 경우 F.E.M 을 이용한 구조안정성 비교 평가는 정확한 공학적 사고의 원인을 규명하는데 효과적인 방법이다.

  • In this study, a motion control problem for the vessel towed by towing ship on the sea is considered. The towed vessel does not have self-control capabilities such that its course stability totally depends on the towing ship. Especially, in the narrow canal, river and congested harbor area, extreme tension is required during the towing operation. The authors, therefore, propose a new control system design method in which the rudder is activated to provide its maneuverability. Based on the leader following system configuration, a nonlinear mathematical model is derived and a backstepping control is designed. By experiment results with nonlinear control framework, the usefulness and effectiveness of the proposed strategy are presented.

  • This paper describes the fault detection and failsafe logic to be used in an Electronic Stability Program(ESP). The aim of this paper is to prevent of erroneous controls in the ESP. Developed this paper introduces the fault detection logic and evaluation of residual signals. The failsafe logic consists of four redundant sub-models, which can be used for detecting the faults in various sensors (yaw rate, lateral acceleration, steering wheel angle). We present two mathematical residual generation methods : one is a method using the average value and the other is a method using the minimum value of the each residual. We verified a failsafe logic developed using vehicle test results also we compare vehicle model based simulation results with test vehicle results.

  • The optimal shape modeling of core parts through 3D modeling and structural analysis for the development of small and medium-sized ships. The goal is to improve the efficient structure of the hydraulic system for controlling the rudder among the core steering parts in small and medium-sized ships. Through 3D modeling and structural analysis, a new concept of tiller parts and a double-acting hydraulic cylinder control system were proposed and operational structural stability was evaluated. Structural analysis of the three different tiller designs that can be replaceable onto existing fishing vessels was conducted to derive the final shapes. The emphasis was placed on evaluating the structural stability of the key drive components, the tiller, pin, and cylinder rodin the maximum torque condition of the hydraulic cylinder.

  • The purpose of this study is to study the fluid-dynamic and structural characteristics of the conventional greenhouse and to find possible improvement on the current greenhouse. The greenhouse is required to have enough rigidity of the structure while the installation and reinforcement should be as easy as possible. In this study, the structural stability to the snow load was tested through the computational structure analysis based on the building structure standard, and the wind load was computed by computational fluid-structure interaction analysis. The current analysis can be used as a reference data for a new greenhouse and it will be economically viable by reducing installation and maintenance costs.

Evaluation of thermal stability of quasi-isotropic composite/polymeric cylindrical structures under extreme climatic conditions

  • Thermal stability of quasi-isotropic composite and polymeric structures is considered one of the most important criteria in predicting life span of building structures. The outdoor applications of these structures have raised some legitimate concerns about their durability including moisture resistance and thermal stability. Exposure of such quasi-isotropic composite/polymeric structures to various and severe climatic conditions such as heat flux and frigid climate would change the material behavior and thermal viability and may lead to the degradation of material properties and building durability. This paper presents an analytical model for the generalized problem. This model accommodates the non-linearity and the non-homogeneity of the internal heat generated within the structure and the changes, modification to the material constants, and the structural size. The paper also investigates the effect of the incorporation of the temperature and/or material constant sensitive internal heat generation with four encountered climatic conditions on thermal stability of infinite cylindrical quasi-isotropic composite/polymeric structures. This can eventually result in the failure of such structures. Detailed critical analyses for four case studies which consider the population of the internal heat generation, cylindrical size, material constants, and four different climatic conditions are carried out. For each case of the proposed boundary conditions, the critical thermal stability parameter is determined. The results of this paper indicate that the thermal stability parameter is critically dependent on the cylinder size, material constants/selection, the convective heat transfer coefficient, subjected heat flux and other constants accrued from the structure environment.

  • 본 논문에서는 전보의 연속으로서 말단질량이 부착된 기둥의 자유단에 압축 종동력이 작용하는 비보존적 탄성계의 불완전 고정단에 나타나는 스프링 특성의 영향 을 연구하였다. 고정단은 병진스프링과 회전스프링으로 구속되었고, 이들 스프링 상 수의 여러 값이 말단질량과 연성(coupling)되어 기둥의 안정성에 미치는 영향을 연구 하였다. 기둥의 전단변형과 회전관성의 영향을 고려하였으며, Hamilton's principle 로서 계의 운동방정식과 경계조건의 식을 유도하여 수치해석하였다.

TMCP 내화강재의 고온 내력 평가 연구 (Evaluation of Structural Stability of Fire Resistant Steel Produced by Thermo-Mechanical Control Process at High Temperature)

  • 대형화, 초고층 및 고스팬에 부응하기 위한 강재 기술개발의 노력으로 용접성능과 내진성능 그리고 내화성능이 부여된 새로운 강재인 Thermo-mechanical control process (TMCP) 내화강재가 개발되었다. TMCP 내화강재는 기존의 내화강재 생산과정 시 압연과 동시에 정밀한 열처리를 병행함으로 인장력과 용접성을 향상시킬 수 있는 새로운 기술인 TMCP 방법으로 개발되었으며, 화재와 같은 고온에서의 구조적 안전성에 관한 내력평가가 요구되었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 고온 시 TMCP 내화강재의 내력평가를 목적으로 고온 시 항복강도, 탄성계수를 평가하고 각각에 대한 온도영역별 실험식을 제시하였으며, 이를 일반 내화강재의 고온 특성과 비교, 분석하였다. 또한 각각의 소재로 설정된 H형강 기둥부재를 대상으로 고온 시의 내력을 계산하여 그 안전성을 확인한 결과, TMCP 내화강재의 고온 시 내력특성은 일반강 내화강재의 고온 내력저하 특성보다 열위인 것으로 나타났다.

  • 본 연구에서는 AE법에 의해 J$_{IC}$를 결정하는 것은 Takahashi등의 방법을 따르되 AE 실험결과를 토대로 이론을 전개하여 재료의 물성 곡선인 J-R곡선의 실험식과 재료 찢어짐 계수를 계산할 수 있는 실험식을 유도하며, 이렇게 구한 실험식을 불안정 파괴 조건에 적용하여 그 타당성을 검토한다.다.

인력 수중익선의 정적 종안정성 평가 (Evaluation of Longitudinal Static Stability of Human Powered Hydrofoil Boat)

  • In this paper, longitudinal static stability is investigated, which is an essential requirement for the safety and the performance of the human powered hydrofoil boat (HPHB). In case a disturbance changes the trim angle of the boat, the derivative of the moment about the center of gravity must be negative in order to make the boat to be stable. The equation to evaluate the longitudinal static stability of the EPISODE, a HPHB of Chungnam National University with a height controlling system(HCS) is derived. From the derivative it is confirmed that a longitudinal and vertical position of the center of gravity is important for a HPHB. The range of a trim angle while the boat is foil-born was found with a HCS under the condition of mechanical restraint. And it is confirmed that the longitudinal static stability is satisfied for EPISODE in certain range of a trim angle. It is also shown that the longitudinal static stability and a range of the trim angle can be determined from the principal dimensions of a HPHB, therefore, it can be applied from the stage of the conceptual design of HPHB.
