The wealth of Korean disability people's paradigm has developed by the meaning of whole rehabilitation of the small society for acception and protection. Today, that meaning has been changed to make and choose disability people's future plans by themselves. The CENTER FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING in Korea has been accepted through the American and Japanese's activity systems with no objection. Following result of the real reserching, because the CENTER FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING in Korea have no legal basement, so there are little support for these centers and no proper rules and check systems. Therefore, we have to make the legal basement of CENTER FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING and separate by each parts of system and to specialize about them. That means, each parts of system have to mark role mode for doing well, and each systems have to develop new programs and services, and to specialize for in Korea. To add, we should have more small CENTER FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING in each area, and the CENTER FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING which are already started should make network system to contact with other centers in society for giving support of proper information.

Purpose: The study explored the meaning of experiences within a family art therapy process among terminal cancer patients and their families. Methods: Ten participants, including four terminal cancer patients currently admitted to the hospice ward at an inpatient hospice facility in S City and four caregiving family members, engaged in four cycles of family art therapy sessions. The sessions were conducted weekly or bi-weekly, and each lasted approximately 50 minutes. Results: Nine cross-case themes emerged: "feeling unfamiliar and intimidated by the idea of expressing my thoughts through art," "trying to accept the present and positively overcome sadness," "expressing hope through emotional bonds during the process of parting," "conveying and preserving personal and family beliefs," "feeling upset about family imbalances caused by deteriorating health," "valuing togetherness and striving for stability amidst the current challenges," "art as a medium of empowerment for patients and facilitator of family conversations, even amidst difficulties," "sharing a range of emotions-not just joy, but concerns and sorrow-through art," and "gratitude for art' s role in improving family communication and connection through artwork. Conclusion: The findings of this study lead to several conclusions. First, patients and their families faced psychological challenges when confronted with impending death, yet they strove to remain optimistic by seeking meaning in their struggles. Second, families practiced open and expressive communication, sharing a spectrum of complex emotions with one another. Third, even as the patient's condition worsened, resulting in family fatigue, their support and cohesion strengthened.

The purpose of this study is to appreciate abstract art works in a deeper and richer way by analyzing and examining the blue symbols used in Hwanki's work "Universe". Research problems to realize the research purpose are as follows. First, what meaning and symbol does Whanki's work "Universe" contain, and second, what meaning and symbol does "blue" that embraces the universe contain. The method of this study is picture analysis through literature research. As a result of this study, Whanki's work "Universe" contains a cosmos that shows constant movement, circulation, and repetition as an introverted and performance expression of the universe, and the main symbol of "Blue" is a blue microcosm that repeatedly circulates heaven and the underworld.

This study aims to understand the meaning that learning of the old age has, through old age learners who augustly live after retirement-life so called successful silver years. Qualitative research methods is used for analyzing the contents of articles about 15 old age learners and the results are follows below. First, the retirement has dual meaning for the old learners. One is they experienced psychological and emotional insecurity after retirement and the other is it is a turning point for them to realize their longtime dream. Second, the old age learners showed enthusiasm about learning and they voluntarily found the way of success in their silver years. Finally, the old age learners working in new career with provocative and enthusiastic attitude work as a role model of successful old age life and show how they progress. This study argued that we need to consider the old as active agents and the old age as the time when productive and continuous learning can be done. In addition, this study strongly insisted that we need to realize the importance of 'education by the elderly' and social and other relevant conditions are needed to be established immediately.

A mobile agent system that searches for meaningful information from web XML documents is developed. For this, a domain information was conceptualized and a universal DTD generator is developed. A mobile agent with the universal DTD is dispatched to remote sites, extracts meaning information, and transmits the information back to a host. This way of information filtering is able to enhance the quality of information and reduce the network transmission overhead.

Objective: The aim of the study was to develop a most widely used Korean dictionary of emotion expressing idioms. This is anticipated to assist the development of software technology that recognizes and responds to verbally expressed human emotions. Method: Through rigorous and strategic classification processes, idiomatic expressions included in this dictionary have been rated in terms of nine different emotions (i.e., happiness, sadness, fear, anger, surprise, disgust, interest, boredom, and pain) for meaning and intensity associated with each expression. Result: The Korean dictionary of emotion expression idioms included 427 expressions, with approximately two thirds classified as 'happiness'(n=96), 'sadness'(n=96), and 'anger'(n=90) emotions. Conclusion: The significance of this study primarily rests in the development of a practical language tool that contains Korean idiomatic expressions of emotions, provision of information on meaning and strength, and identification of idioms connoting two or more emotions. Application: Study findings can be utilized in emotion recognition research, particularly in identifying primary and secondary emotions as well as understanding intensity associated with various idioms used in emotion expressions. In clinical settings, information provided from this research may also enhance helping professionals' competence in verbally communicating patients' emotional needs.

This study is to present Chinese character notation for common use through investigation of examples and graphonomy related literature with beam and purlin of wooden members and its conclusions are as follows. It suggests two commonly used Chinese characters of beam and purlin. The first method of indicating them is Riyang(樑) for beam and Hang(桁) for purlin and the second method is Bo(保) for beam and Hang(桁) for purlin. Riyang(樑) as the first method was already used in the Joseon period and was profitable to convey limited meaning as wooden term compared to Riyang(樑) with wider meaning and Bo(保) as the second method contained logical association and hieroglyphic connection of Bo(保) as the Korean character. Hang(桁) for purl in was presented by both the first and second methods and it was already used in the Koryeo age, also commonly used as the term of purlin in China and Japan and it was also presented as letter containing logical and hieroglyphic connection with Hyeng(行).

In order to figure out the physical meaning of 3-D angular flow index for in-cylinder bulk motion, CFD analysis for the swirl and tumble steady flow test rig were made using commercial package STAR-CD. Computer simulations and rig tests on some kinds of induced flow conditions were carried out. Finally, based on the comparison between the simulated results and measured results, the physical meaning of 3-D angular flow index $|\longrightarrow_{N_B}|$, $\beta$ composed of swirl and tumble coefficients measured by steady flow test rig was described.
