The purpose of this paper is to build a semantic networks of the 'cooking class' verb (based on 'CoreNet' of KAIST). This proceedings needs to adjust the concept classification. Then sub-categories of [Cooking] and [Foodstuff] hierarchy of CoreNet was adjusted for the construction of verb semantic networks. For the building a semantic networks, each meaning of 'Cooking verbs' of Korean has to be analyzed. This paper focused on the Korean 'heating' verbs and 'non-heating'verbs. Case frame structure and argument information were inserted for the describing verb information. This paper use a Propege 3.3 as a tool for building "cooking verb" semantic networks. Each verb and noun was inserted into it's class, and connected by property relation marker 'HasThemeAs', 'IsMaterialOf'.

This study analyzed main causes of claims in EPC/Turnkey projects. For this purpose, this study referred to the FIDIC silver book, which lists the international standard contract conditions for EPC/Turnkey projects. The most frequent cause of claim was delay. A process was then proposed to determine whether the owner or contractor was the responsible party when the delay claim occurred. The proposed process was for damages for delay which is the conditions of contract for indemnities against delay claim. The process was based on conditions of the contract of two previous EPC/Turnkey projects that were constructed in 2010, the FIDIC silver book, as well as the obligations of owner and contactors. The proposed process is applicable depending on the conditions of the contract and the owner's meaning. Furthermore, by identifying the responsible party, this study will contribute in identifying the possible claim types before concluding a contract and writing the specific contract.

In Europe, traditionally the low-rised buildings for public art museum have been constructed since the 18th century like any other buildings and these are because of the technical issue for construction difficulty. Even if the low-rised art museum buildings are still continued for it's construction, gradually the high-rised art museum buildings begin to be build due to the development of contemporary technology in high-dense modern urban space. This tendency of high-rised art museum building in recent years is expected to affect on the interior space of it and most of all the spatial change in conjunction with circulation system variation is remarkable. Because the circulation system in art museum means tourist's spatial experience and it normally controls the experience of knowledge in art museum. This study is to understand how the multi-floored art museums in Europe affect to the spatial structure and how this is related to the circulation system. And also the study raised an issue on what it's social meaning is. Through these analysis the study can provide the meaning of multi-floored art museum and basic indication in art museum planning. To understand this, the study calculated the number of stories, number of vertical circulation and number of ring-structure space. Also the study tired to use space syntax tools, which are connectivity, integration value, integration value in major space, integration value in vertical circulation and intelligibility value. those tools alculated topological transfiguration of the whole space.Throughout the study, it was concluded that the influence of high-rised art museum in Europe changed the spatial structure and circulation system. The topological center of art museum that has been the grand space since 18th century changed to the vertical circulation due to the it's roll of distributing visitors to each floor. It became a starting point of spatial deployment and experience in art museum.

Modern society's technological and economical changes require high-level education that involve critical thinking, problem solving, and communication with others. Thus, today's perspective of mathematics and mathematics learning recognizes a potential symbolic relationship between concrete and abstract mathematics. If the problems engage students' interests and aspiration, mathematical problems can serve as a source of their motivation. In addition, if the problems stimulate students'thinking, mathematical problems can also serve as a source of meaning and understanding. From these perspectives, the purpose of my study is to prove that mathematical modeling tasks can provide opportunities for students to attach meanings to mathematical calculations and procedures, and to manipulate symbols so that they may draw out the meanings out of the conclusion to which the symbolic manipulations lead. The review of related literature regarding mathematical modeling and model are performed as a theoretical study. I especially concentrated on the study results of Freudenthal, Fischbein, Lesh, Disessea, Blum, and Niss's model systems. We also investigate the emphasis of mathematising, the classified method of mathematical modeling, and the cognitive nature of mathematical model. And We investigate the purposes of model construction and the instructive meaning of mathematical modeling. In conclusion, we have presented the methods that promote students' effective model construction ability. First, the teaching and the learning begins with problems that reflect reality. Second, if students face problems that have too much or not enough information, they will construct useful models in the process of justifying important conjecture by attempting diverse models. Lastly, the teachers must understand the modeling cycle of the students and evaluate the effectiveness of the models that the students have constructed from their classroom observations, case study, and interaction between the learner and the teacher.

Architecture had played a significant role model in philosophy because the construction of building represented doing philosophy. 'Architecture as metaphor' made it possible that doing philosophy was a kind of construction of thinking and western philosopher considered himself as an architect of idea. As a system of system, architectural analogy gave philosophy a chance to insist himself as a theory of theory. So architecture had always been a privileged model of discourse system and also a fundamental metaphor in philosophy. Because of its original meaning, Architecture as techne could be considered as poiesis, that was the special building(making) in western culture. The archi(arche) - structure(techne) was a ideal model and mechanism of philosophy because with this analogy doing philosophy became a kind of building act to make a logical system of idea. This kind of tradition in philosophy, especially metaphysics, made the characteristics of western philosophy 'architectonic' that implied the meaning of the rational, stable, hierarchical and holistic. But this kind of tradition exposed the problem of philosophy that focused on Identity and excluded the others. The logocentrism of western philosophy was also the limitation of architectonic thinking and its reductionism became a grand monologue which only allowed systematic, rational discourse. Its ideological position Inevitably caused the anti-architectural thinking in modern age as a diverse form of new trend of thinking as like postmodernism or deconstruction. Even Deconstructivism, or 'informe', non-representation in architecture depends upon anti-architectural thinking. Relationship between architecture as metaphor and the building of philosophy is problematique issue.

For successful waterproofing construction, it is very important to secure construction quality as well as material performance of waterproofing materials used in construction. Due to the long-term cost reduction policy following the economic downturn in the construction market, most construction companies are using general low-priced waterproof materials rather than high-quality waterproof materials without clear quality control standards. Without clear education on construction, construction is being carried out with meaning only on construction activities. In addition, the waterproofing method applied in combination is a situation where water leakage occurs due to waterproofing failure due to insufficient construction quality because the construction method is complicated. Therefore, it is necessary to review the quality control measures(design, materials, construction) for successful waterproofing work and improve problems that are derived so that stable waterproofing work can be done. In order to expect the leakage prevention effect of a building, first, it is required to select appropriate materials for each part of the building and environment in the design stage, and the selected materials must satisfy all items of the Korean Industrial Standard(KS). Second, to secure the quality of waterproofing construction, sincere construction by workers is required. In this paper, we tried to describe "review of waterproof design", "constructor education", "site inspection", and "criticism(correction/supplementation)" as quality control measures after material selection.

This paper is to develop tourist destination storytelling strategy using popular culture contents. Place is the result of meaning construction process. Especially discourse plays an important role in the social construction. Discourse generally consists of printed materials, auditory discourse, and visual discourse. For social construction of a tourist destination, discourse may be supplied by the media, or the tourist. In the tourist destination storytelling's view, strategies are composed of extending of tourist destination mania, circulating nostalgia for tourist destination, developing experience circumstances of popular culture tourist destination, making tourism story networks, making tourism storytelling process, and cultivating tourism experts of popular culture.

Purpose: Various landscapes have been created in the process of changing containers, which were a tool of trade activities, to architecture, and today, containers have formed relationships with people as complex facilities and constantly create new cultures. In this paper, considering these container constructions from the viewpoint of the landscape, consider the meaning as one of landscape factors for creating cultural landscape. Method: In this study, a methodological framework was constructed based on various statistical data and literature materials, and analyzed texts called containers from the viewpoints of physical elements and active elements and analyzed them at the level of function. Based on literature materials, specifically, this study has handled with the cultural landscape as text, the functional dimension of urban design, and the characteristics of container construction. Result: This research analyzed the physical and active characteristics of the target area by utilizing the content of the field analysis and the contents of the interview, previous research, etc., and then content was analyzed in functional dimension. Through this process, the conclusion proposed by this research is to study the construction of a container and present the direction to analyze in the functional dimension showing the landscape characteristics that it brings forward.

The present paper investigates a particular structure in Taiwan Mandarin, "(NP) + (intensifier) + $gei^3ta^1$ "give him/it"+ adjective" in terms of construction grammar. The structure is mostly observed in utterances of younger generation. Though it is not regarded as a grammatical or standard structure, it is still a register of language. The structure lays emphasis on speaker's attitude toward an undesired, unpleasant event. In most cases, the attitude tends to be negative. The events or propositions must have existed or been completed. The adjectives compatible with this structure belong to category of higher degree. The grammatical usage illustrates semantic bleaching of $gei^3ta^1$. And the changes from giving to a grammatical particle denoting subjective belief is a kind of subjectification. Moreover, $ta^1$ could refer to events or situation expressed by a more complicated grammatical structure, or denotes nothing as a dummy word. Though many previous studies paid attention to the newly developed structure resulted from language contact, the adequate account was not provided. It is hoped through this investigation, we will get a better understanding of this particular structure.

In today's society, Monolithic expresses itself as a single featured work with a consistent exterior in the urban environment. In particular, such characteristics of the monolithic work have become increasingly influential in the modern society with the emergence of the minimalism. Monolithic architecture in modern has common feature which is maintaining simple construction format (Mass) with complicated and abundance space (Volume) inside. This simple architecture exterior leads new stimulus which is different from previous format and evokes unique sensibility and thoughts with monumental expressing. Uniformed exterior revealed thru purity of material builds up strong presence by itself. In contract with simple exterior, diverse space is expressed by consistent concept and process. Through this, it shows creating metaphorical space and space-oriented feature. We can interpret modern monolithic architecture as a sensation and alternative against Gestalt architecture in consequence of chasing clarity, visual stimulus and uncertain tendency only. It provides architectural experience by spatial imaginary and unexpected space development to users through exclusivetendency against outside and stressing un-private, we can evaluate its value as a space-oriented construction which helped us to think about space meaning in modern society.
