바인다의 효출력이 곡물탈립손실에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Bundle icing Forces on the Shattering Loss of Grains)

  • The effect of binder kicking forces on the shattering losses of paddy rice, which has been widely understood as an outstanding loss factor in harvesting with a binder, were experimentally assessed in this thesis.Through the field tests the optimum time of harvest, in terms of grain moisture contents, was found by considering harvesting losses for two rice varieties, harvested by two different binders, at four or five grain moisture levels.A device was designed and manufactured to apply various kicking forces to the bundles and was used in the bundle kicking tests. It was intended to find out the optimum range of kicking force to minimize the kicking losses. Based on the study, modification of the existing binder kicking mechanism was suggested. The following is a summary of the results of this thesis. 1. In Suweon 258 variety, as the grain moisture content is reduced, so the cutting loss and the kicking loss increase. The grain losses range from 0.77 to 0.82 percent of total field yield for the cutting loss, from 1.83 to 2.01 percent for the kicking loss, and from 2.60 to 2.83 percent for the field loss, when the moisture content is about 22 percent. 2. In Jinheung variety , the field losses increased as the grain moisture content decreased . When the moisture content was 20 percent, the field loss, cutting loss and kicking loss was 0.42-0.49 % , 0.30-0.35, and 0.12 -0.14% of the total field yield, respectively. 3. The difference in the field loss , cutting loss, and kicking loss for the two binders was 0.23% , 0.05% and 0.18% respectively in Suweon 258 variety, and 0.07% , 0.02% and 0.05% respectively ini Jinheung variety. The grain losses for binder B were slightly higher than those for binder A. 4. In the statistical analysis of each variety , the kicking force and the moisture content of the grain, and its interaction were all highly significant at 1% level by T test .The optimum kicking force was found to be in the 3.0-0.4kg range. This does not interrupt the binder operation, while ioses are kept to an acceptale level. 5. To reduce the kicking force of the eXlstmg binder mechanism, the speed of rotation of the kicking arm needs to be redued by increasing the number of driving sprocket teeth, and the position and gear ratio of the knotter-bill and driving bevelgear have to be change to give a !motter-bill speed of 1110 rpm. It is also desirable to attach a belt conveyor which smoothly carries the bundle to the ground. 6. The optimum harvesting time cased on maximum field yield was found to be at a grain moisture content of around 22 percent for Suweon 258 variety, and 20 percent for Jinheung variety. Tota] field yield and field yield at the time amounted to 9, 812.5 kg/ha, 9, 302. 5kg/ha respectively for the Suweon 258, and 7, 819.5 kg/ ha, 7, 158.7 kg/ha respectively for the Jinheung variety.

식빵의 굳기 측정을 위한 측정 조건에 관한 연구 (A study on the measurement conditions for measuring the toughness of bread)

  • 노화 등으로 인한 식빵의 굳기(toughness) 정도를 측정하고자 Miller/Hoseney Toughness 장치를 이용하여 여러 측정조건(이동속도 및 침투율 변화)에서 절단력 최대값을 측정하여 분석하였다. 식빵 겉껍질에서는 이동속도가 증가함에 따라 절단력 최대값이 유의적으로 증가하였으며, 시료들 사이에서의 유의차는 일부 측정조건에서 다르게 나타났다. 식빵 내부에서의 측정값은 동일 침투율에서는 이동속도가 증가함에 따라 대부분의 시료에서 절단력 최대값이 유의적으로 증가하였으며, 시료들 사이에서의 유의차는 침투율에 상관없이 이동속도가 달라져도 변화하지 않았다. 결론적으로 본 실험 방법으로 식빵 내부의 굳기를 측정할 경우 측정조건변화에 의해 절단력 최대값은 달라지나, 시료간 유의차는 변화하지 않아, 시료간 유의차를 판단하는 경우 본 실험 범위내에서 매우 편리하고 신뢰도가 높은 실험으로 사료된다.

  • To recycle the uranium resources in the spent nuclear fuels, all the fuel rods are extracted from the spent fuel assemblies. The remaining components of the spent fuel assembly after extracting all the rods, so called a NFBC(Non-Fuel Bearing Components), should be compacted to minimize the waste volume. To this present, KAERI (Korea Atomic Research Institute) has developed he NFBC compactor by introducing a new concept of cutting and compaction, In this paper, to achieve he maximum compaction ration of the NFBC volume while reducing compactor size, an fuzzy controller, which determines the reference force of the compactor, is proposed with using he fuzzy-inference.

Influence of Anticipation on Landing Patterns during Side-Cutting Maneuver in Female Collegiate Soccer Players

  • To investigate the anticipatory effect on landing patterns during side-cutting maneuver, thirteen healthy female elite college soccer players participated in this study. Three-dimensional knee kinematics, effective mass and correlation between both these were measured and analyzed using a motion analysis and force plates. Each testing session included anticipated tasks, $45^{\circ}$ side-cutting tasks (AC), followed by a set of unexpected side-cutting (UC) in a random order. Knee flexion/extension, valgus/varus and internal/external rotation angles and effect mass were compared by using paired t-test. Also, correlation analysis was performed to identify the relationship between knee angles and effective mass. Effective mass during UC was greater than that during AC. Effective mass and maximum knee flexion angle were positively correlated during AC and not during UC. Based on the relationship between effective mass and knee flexion angle in AC, shock absorption can be controlled by knee joint flexion in pre-predicted movement condition. However, effective mass can not be controlled by knee flexion in UC condition. The unexpected load affects were more irregular on the knee joint, which may be one of the injury mechanisms of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in female soccer players.

고속 회전형 공구헤드의 설계 및 성능시험 (Design and Performance Test of High-speed Swivel Tool Head)

  • At present, a high-speed swivel tool head of a small size is required to improve the productivity of CNC automatic lathes. Hence, there is growing interest in shorter machining times with higher cutting speeds. However, an increase in the rotation speed of a swivel tool head also has adverse effects, such as vibration and noise caused by the swivel tool head system. In this work, the fatigue life and contact pressure of a swivel tool head bearing system driven by gears were calculated. Based on the calculated results, a prototype swivel tool head was manufactured and its static and dynamic characteristics, i.e., the vibration, noise and precision, were measured using a reliability testing device which allows the application of cutting force to the end of the swivel tool head.

회전 초음파가공 주축 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Rotary Ultrasonic Machining Spindle)

  • Ultrasonic machining (USM) has been considered a new, cutting-edge technology that presents no heating or electrochemical effects, with low surface damage and small residual stresses on brittle workpieces. However, nowadays, many researchers are paying careful attention to the disadvantages of USM, such as low productivity and tool wear. On the other hand, in this study, a high-performance rotary ultrasonic drilling (RUD) spindle is designed and assembled. In this system, the core technology is the design of an ultrasonic vibration horn for the spindle using finite element analysis (FEA). The maximum spindle speed of RUM is 9,600 rpm, and the highest harmonic displacement is $5.4{\mu}m$ noted at the frequency of 40 kHz. Through various drilling experiments on glass workpieces using a CVD diamond-coated drill, the cutting force and cracking of the hole entrance and exit side in the glass have been greatly reduced by this system.

선형절삭실험 중 디스크커터 축에 작용하는 하중과 온도에 대한 실험적 연구 (A experimental study on the loads and temperature acting on the shaft of a disc cutter during linear rock cutting test)

  • 본 연구는 변형률게이지와 열전대, 적외선 열화상카메라를 사용하여 선형절삭실험 동안 디스크커터의 축에 발생하는 축응력과 토크를 측정하고 디스크커터의 내부와 외부의 온도를 파악하고자 하였다. 실험결과, 축응력과 토크의 최대값은 각각 11.3 MPa, $171kN{\cdot}m$로 측정되었으며, 축응력과 토크는 회전력보다는 디스크커터의 연직력과 상관성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 선형절삭실험 동안 열전대로 측정한 결과, 디스크커터의 온도변화는 $0.2^{\circ}C$ 이내로 나타났다. 그러나 수행된 각 선형절삭작업이 연속적으로 이루어진다고 가정한 다음, 디스크커터의 내부온도와 커터 링 표면의 온도변화를 추정한 결과, 커터간격이 70 mm인 경우에는 각각 $0.1^{\circ}C/m$, $0.15{\sim}0.17^{\circ}C/m$로 예상되었고 커터간격이 90 mm인 경우에는 각각 $0.09^{\circ}C/m$, $0.13{\sim}0.23^{\circ}C/m$로 추정되었다.

기존선에서 가설교량 시공에 따른 열차의 주행안전성 평가 (Evaluation of Train Running Safety During Construction of Temporary Bridge on Existing Railway)

  • 선로하부를 굴착한 후의 가설교량 설치공법은 이동형 가로보를 갖는 공법으로 시공시 전차선 차단 및 레일절단이 불필요하고 열차운행 횟수가 많은 복선부에서도 적용 가능한 공법이다. 본 논문에서는 공사구간이 곡선부(R400)구간으로 가설교량 공법 시공 후의 변위특성을 검토하기 위해 변위계를 설치하고 열차 통과 시의 윤중 횡압을 계측하여 곡선부(R400)의 주행안전성 검토를 평가하였다. 측정결과 가설교량을 통과시 열차종별 윤중과 횡압의 최대값은 각각 국외 궤도성능평가 기준의 51%, 81% 수준으로 분석되어 윤중, 횡압 발생에 따른 궤도 안전성 측면에서는 큰 문제가 없을 것으로 판단된다. 또한 주행안전성의 평가기준이 되는 최대 탈선계수와 최대 윤중감소율은 열차종별에 관계없이 허용한계치의 49% 수준으로 그 기준치에는 못 미치는 것으로 나타나 열차 통과시의 주행안전성 확보에는 큰 문제가 없는 것을 알 수 있었다.

콩의 취반속도에 미치는 온도의 영향 (Effect of Temperature on Cooking Rate of Soybean)

  • 콩을 $106^{\circ}{\sim}121^{\circ}C$의 가압조건에서 일정시간 조리하면서 최대 절단력을 측정하고 이로부터 조리속도를 계산하였다. 콩의 조리속도는 1 차반응의 속도로 표시될 수 있었으며 반응속도상 수는 조리온도가 4 또는 $5^{\circ}C$ 상승함에 따라 약 2배 정도 증가하였다. 동일한 조리도를 나타내는 온도-시간과의 관계로부터 계산한 콩의 연화에 따른 Z-값은 $13.3^{\circ}C$ 이었다.

  • 우리나라 콩중 장려품종(봉의)과 재래종(KW-12와 KLS-77005-1)을 $106^{\circ}C{\sim}121^{\circ}C$의 가압조건에서 조리하면서 최대 전단력을 측정하고 이로부터 조리속도를 분석 비교하였다. 시료콩 모두 $106^{\circ}C$에서는 150분, $121^{\circ}C$에서는 14분 후에 조리가 완료 되었으며 조리속도 상수는 서로 비슷하였다. 일정한 조리도를 나타내는 온도-시간과의 관계로부터 구한 Z-값은 봉의와 KLS-77005-1가 $11.5^{\circ}C$, KW-12가 $13.1^{\circ}C$ 이었다.
