There are some difficulties in applying the Pearson's Chi-Square Test for the continuous distribution. The problems include how to form class intervals for the test of fit how to employ in the test when the estimators of parameters are obtained from the ungrouped sample so on. In order to solve these problems we use the generalized minimum Chi-Square technique which is a test free of the complications associated with the Peason's Chi-Square test. This paper show how to apply the goodness of fit tests based on generalized minimum Chi-Square technique to the extreme values.

We consider an M/G/1 queueing system with multiple priority classes of jobs. Considered preemptive rules are the preemptive-resume preemptive-repeat-identical, and preemptive-repeat-different policies. These three preemptive rules will be analyzed in parallel. The key idea of analysis is based on the consideration of a busy period as composite of delay cycle. As results we present the exact Laplace-Stieltjecs(L.S) transforms of residence time and completion time in the system.

4대의 제어점에 의해 정의되는 3차 Bezier 곡선을 구간적 (piecewise) 2차 Bezier 곡선으로 근사 하는 기하적인 알고리듬을 제시한다. 또한 제시한알고리듬의 오차해석을 통하여 수정된 알 고리듬을 구성한다. 분확방법을 동시에 사용하여 주어진 허용오차 이내의 구간적 2차 근사 곡선을 구할수 있다. 제시한 알고리듬은 오차해석을 이용하여 필요한 분활의 수행회수를 미 리 결정할수있는장점을 가지고있다.

The goal of this paper is to show that the linear approxi-mation in evaluation of functions may be effectively replaced by the ex-ponential approximation formulas obtained by numerical quadratures and in the instance the relative errors can be estimated without know-ing the true values.

In this paper, we study the geometry of indefinite generalized Sasakian space form $\bar{M}(f_1,f_2,f_3)$ admitting a lightlike hypersurface M subject such that the almost contact structure vector field ${\zeta}$ of $\bar{M}(f_1,f_2,f_3)$ is tangent to M. We prove a classification theorem of such an indefinite generalized Sasakian space form.

This paper deals with the relationship between the order structure and topological structure in the historical point of view. We first investigate how the order structure has developed along with the set theory and logic in the second half of the nineteenth century. After the general topology has emerged in the beginning of the twentieth century, two disciplines of the order theory and topology give each other a great deal of effect for their development via various dualities, compactifications by maximal filter spaces and Alexandroff's specialization order, which form eventually a fundamental setting for the development of the category theory or functor theory.

In this paper we extend the best choice of subsample size m in the 2-stage sampling which suggested by Mohammad(1986) to the 3-stage sampling in cases of known and of unknown cost and variance ratio. We find the subsample size m.k which ensures more than the relative efficiency 90% Also we see that the choice of 3-stage subsample size depends on the design parameters using in 2-stage sampling.

As Chinese philosophy has developed by commentary for the original texts, the Nine Chapters has been greatly improved by the commentary given by Liu Hui and it was transformed from an arithmetic text to Mathematics. Comparing his commentary and Chinese philosophical development up to his date, we conclude that Liu Hui was able to make such a great leap by his thorough understanding of philosophical development.

${\lambda}$-연산은 ‘다시쓰기 규칙’으로 정의되는 계산을 위해 함수들이 형성되고, 결합되고, 활용되는 수학적 형식 체계이다. 컴퓨터과학의 발전과 더불어 많은 프로그래밍 언어들이 ${\lambda}$-연산을 원리로 삼고 있다. 나아가서, ‘커리-하워드 대응’ 덕분에 미제 연역에 의해 수행된 증명과 컴퓨터 프로그래밍 사이에 대응 관계를 설정할 수 있게 되었다. 이 글의 목적은 교육적인 차원에서 아직은 잘 알려져 있지 않은 주제를 대중화시키는 데에 있다. 논리학과 컴퓨터 과학에서 L-연산의 영향은 차후의 연구과제로 남아 있다.

본 연구는 동양 최고의 수학서로 꼽히는 구장산술에 주목하여 수학교육학적 측면에서 가치와 의의를 분석하였다. 구장산술은 실생활 문제를 통하여 수학에 접근하고 있으며 개념과 유형별로 알고리즘화하는 구조적 특성을 가진다. 이러한 분석을 바탕으로 오늘날 수학교육에 부합하는 가치를 고찰하였다. 또한, 구장산술이 가지는 역사적, 수학적 업적을 분석하여 수학학습에 미치는 긍정적인 영향과 정의적 영역에서의 의의를 찾고, 마지막으로 오늘날의 해법과는 다른 풀이를 보여주는 계산법에 주목하여, 현장에서의 활용 방안과 그 가치를 제시하였다.
