Application of Modified Ramberg-Osgood Model for Master Curve of Asphalt Concrete (아스팔트 콘크리트 메스터 극선에 대한 수정 Ramberg-Osgood 모델 적용)

  • The dynamic moduli of asphalt concrete are very important for the analysis and the design of asphalt pavement systems. The dynamic modulus master curve is usually represented by a sigmoidal function. The Ramberg-Osgood model was widely used for fitting of normalized modulus reduction curves with strain of soils in soil dynamic fields. The master curves were obtained by both sigmoidal functions and modified Ramberg-Osgood model for the same dynamic modulus data set, the fitting abilities of both methods were excellent. The coefficients in sigmoidal function are coupled. Therefore, it is not possible to separate the characteristics of the master curve with absolute value and shape. However, the each fitting coefficient in the Ramberg-Osgood model has a unique effect on the master curve, and the coefficients are not coupled with each other.

  • This paper presents the results of a study on the control system for an underwater manipulator controlled by a master arm through LED communication. The underwater manipulator was designed to be actuated by electric motors with six degrees of freedom for operation in various underwater environments. The master arm, which can remotely control the manipulator, was designed with a structure similar to the manipulator for convenient control. An underwater LED communication system was developed to communicate between the master arm and underwater manipulator. An integrated control program was developed that included data conversion, monitoring, datalogging, and filtering. Some experiments were performed to verify the performance of the developed control system of the master arm, manipulator, and LED communication system, and the results are presented.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a torso pattern that is highly representative for the proper body shape of women in their thirties. Size data of the women with age of 30 through 39 from the database of Size Korea 2004 were used for the study. In order to develop a master pattern which will be used as the benchmark for grading of research group, 4 existing torso block drafting methods were compared based on the data gathered and the block with the highest evaluation score was utilized as a reference point. For the analysis, data was divided into four types, only the data of 138 subjects which were evaluated at least by four or more experts as valid were used for the study. The major results can be summarized as follow. The women of bust girth of 91cm and height of 160cm which was turned out to be representative type of research group were used as standard measurement for the purpose of reflecting not only curve length of the 3D analysis measurement but also the difference between front and back thickness to the pattern. Dart locations were set based on front and back torso ease, shoulder area revisions, front sagging length 1.5cm and cross section crevice length analysis. According to the experts' appearance evaluation of the pattern was found to be better than the control pattern which was regarded as the best among 4 patterns created based on existing torso block drafting methods.

  • Joint paths of master and branch pipes are induced mathematically for many kinds of joint patterns between both pipes in 3-axis pipe profile-cutting machines. By compensating them with a kerf width, the real cutting paths are determined, and their CL-data are generated, and the tool paths generated by CL-data are verified by a ghost function. A bevelling of welds is implemented through tilting a cutting torch in the $\beta$-axis direction for 8 sections in the chuck rotation of $\alpha$-axis. A PLC controls simultaneously position and velocity in a real time for $\alpha$, X, $\beta$-axis by loading CL-data generated. We developed the PLC-controlled 3-axis pipe profile-cutting system which can cut a master or branch pipe along the cutting path and simultaneously do a bevelling process.

  • Many application in human computer interaction(HCI) require tacking a human face and facial features. In this paper we propose efficient parallel processing system for face tracking under heterogeneous networked. To track a face in the video image we use the skin color information and connected components. In terms of parallelism we choose the master-slave model which has thread for each processes, master and slaves, The threads are responsible for real computation in each process. By placing queues between the threads we give flexibility of data flowing

  • DNP3.0은 산업 분야에서 SCADA(Supervisory Control And Data Aquisition) system의 개방형 프로토콜로 사용되어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 개발하거나 개발된 Module들 사이에서 송 수신되는 DNP3.0 PDU를 분석할 수 있는 기능을 제공하는 DPA(DNP3.0 Protocol Analyzer) Module을 설계 및 구현하였다. 해당 Master Station에서 Request 메시지를 생성하여 Outstation으로 전송하고 Outstation에서 수신된 Request 메시지를 분석하여 Response 메시지를 생성하여 Response 한다. 또한 Master Station 과 Outstation에서 DNP3.0 프로토콜을 사용하여 통신하는 중간에서 송 수신하는 메시지를 Monitoring한다.

  • This paper deals with the implementation of walking for a humanoid robot by ZMP measurement using wireless sensor network. ZMP is measured by FSR sensors which are mounted at each corner of a sole. The wireless sensor network collects the sensor data according and exchanges robot information between host PC and a robot system. The master controller mounted on robot body receives trajectory data from the host PC via sensor network and drives the joint motor based on trajectory data. The time scheduler of the master controller controls the events at the ratio of 100ms. With this configuration, the walking of the humanoid robot KHR-1 could be realized successfully.

  • BOM(Bill of Materials) is a listing or description of raw materials, parts, and assemblies that define a product. In order to evaluate the performance of proposed BOM management system, which is very important to maintenance information system of urban transit. We develop component based BOM data and rule-set to design data structure that is mutually independent and integrated efficiently. It divides data whit management interface using component technology. The component based master BOM have advantage in database size and flexibility. Flexibility is measured as the number of updating records in accordance with added new product or engineering change. In database size, component based BOM is the best. we develop master BOM management system in web environment.
