튼튼이교실 프로그램이 초등학교 비만아동의 신체조성, 신체균형, 체력 및 건강증진행위에 미치는 효과 - 전남 목포시의 일 초등학교 학생들을 대상으로 - (The Effects of Child Health Program on Body Composition, Body Balance, Physical Fitness, Health Promotion Behavior among Obese Children)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of child health program on body composition, body balance, physical fitness, health promotion behavior in obese elementary school. Methods: They ranged from the third to fith grade with over 20% body fat ratio. The subjects consisted of 20 obese elementary school children who participated in child health program. The contents of the program for 12 weeks from contained obese education, counseling and music rope jump twice a week. The program lasted from Sep. 3 to Nov. 30, 2007. The data were analysed with SAS 8.2. Results: Muscle mass(z=2.86, p=0.028), skeletal muscle mass(z=2.56, p=0.008), and fat free mass(z=2.57. p=0.006) in body composition were significantly increased. right arm balance(z=4.12. p=0.001), left arm balance(z=2.96, p=0.010), and trunk balance(z=3.70, p=0.001), right leg balance(z=2.42 p=0.013) in body balance were also significantly increased. endurance(z=2.61. p=0.028), agility(z=3.43, p=0.006), flexibility(z=4.37, p=0.000), power(z=6.94, p=0.000) in physical fitness were significantly increased. Health promotion and behaviors were significantly increased(z=2.21. p=0.012). Conclusions: Child health promotion seemed to be useful for body composion, body balance. physical fitness and health promotion behavior.

눈 속에서 용질이동을 모사하기 위한 수치모델의 검증 (Validations of a Numerical Model of Solute Transport in a Snowpack)

  • 겨울철동안 쌓여 봄에 놓은 눈 녹은 물(snowmelt), 즉 융설의 유출은 북반구 및 산간지역에서 매우 중요한 것으로 여겨지고 있다. 이러한 지역에서 융설로 인한 유동 및 이온의 이동에 대한 이해는 매우 중요하며 전세계적으로 꾸준하게 연구되고 있다. Lee et al. (2008a)와 Lee et al. (2008b)연구에서는 대기로부터 수송된 이온 및 오염원이 융설에 의해 눈속을 이동하는 것을 모사하기 위한 Mobile-Immobile water Model (MIM)을 개발하였다. 이 연구에 사용된 모델을 검증하기 위해서 물질수지계산(mass balance calculation) 및 해석해(analytical solution)를 이용한 모델결과와의 비교를 수행하였다. 일정시간동안 눈 속에서의 물질의 질량변화는 눈 표면에서 들어온 물질과 눈 기저부에서 빠져나간 물질의 질량 차이와 같아야한다는 사실을 이용하여 물질수지를 계산하였다. 파면(wave front)의 이동속도 및 기존문헌에서 알려진 해석 해를 이용하여 모델결과와의 비교도 시도하였다. 모델의 물질수지계산결과 질량 차이가 거의 발생하지 않았으며 모델결과와 해석해와의 비교 역시 두 결과가 거의 일치하였다.

  • In four cylinder engine, the second order inertia force occurs due to the reciprocating parts of the cylinder. Because the magnitude of the inertia force is proportional to a square of the angular velocity of crank shaft, engine gets suffered from vibration excited by unbalanced inertia force in high speed. This vibration excited by the unbalanced inertia force can be canceled by applying a balance shaft. Balance shaft has one or more unbalance mass and rotates twice quickly than the crank shaft. In this paper, an unbalanced force caused by the rotating of unbalance mass of balance shafts was calculated. The directional equivalent stiffness and damping coefficients of the journal bearing of balance shafts was calculated. Equations of rotational vibration modes were derived using directional stiffness and damping coefficients. The dynamic stability of balance shafts was analyzed and evaluated for two type models using the equivalent stiffness and damping coefficients. An efficient procedure to he able to evaluate dynamic stability and design optimal balance shaft was proposed.

  • Balance shaft has a key role in reducing a engine vibration in a vehicle and widely applied for current models. Since balance shaft module consists many sub-component and each part has its own operational characteristics, some different analysis backgrounds should be integrated into one sub-part in balance shaft module and this is the main obstacles in making a design process. Moreover, the balancing shaft is rotating in high speed and such condition requires large safety factors in a design process owing to a lot of unexpected problems with the overwhelming rotation. Balance shaft is the core-component generating the intended unbalance as well as cancelling the unbalance force or moment by the engine module. So, the balance shaft should meet the high fatigue resistance not to mention of NVH performance. In this paper, a design strategy focused on balance shaft is developed to build a optimal model considering a engine vibration. Putting the unbalance mass distribution as main design parameter, some candidate model is verifed with structural and fatigue analysis and most appropriate model is proposed here.

HPLC 분석기를 이용한 펄프용 단풍나무의 펄핑 추출액에 관한 물질수지 (Mass Balance on the Pulping Extracts of Maple Hardwood using High Performance Liquid Chromatography)

  • 현재 메인 주립대학에서는 펄프용 목재 성분 중 헤미셀룰로오스 추출 기술에 관한 연구개발이 한창 진행 중이다. 펄프의 수율 향상과 용액 회수에 필요한 유기 및 무기물 사용을 줄이고 새로운 바이오 물질 생산에 필요한 도입부 추가 공정이 연구의 핵심이다. 바이오 물질 중 경제적으로 상용 가능한 에탄올 생산(pilot-scale)에 있어 전 처리되지 않은 기질, 전 처리된 기질 및 펄핑 선 추출액의 화학적 성분분석은 아주 중요한 공정이다. HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography)를 이용한 펄프목재 성분분석 결과, H-column으로 분석한 총 물질수지(total analytical mass balance)는 전 처리되지 않은 칩의 경우 100.6%, 전 처리된 목재 칩은 100.3%, 그리고 펄핑 선 추출액은 81.6%의 결과를 보였다. 한편, P-column으로 분석한 결과, 전 처리되지 않은 기질, 전 처리된 기질, 그리고 선 추출액은 각각, 97.8%, 97.4%, 그리고 80.7%로 나타났다. 총 물질수지가 100%를 넘거나 부족한 수치는 분석해석 중 발생한 약간의 오류로 보인다. 펄프-바이오리파이너리(Biorefinery) 공정을 통해 생성된 기질(substrate) 각각의 정확한 성분분석 결과는 에탄올 상용화 공정에 필요한 중요한 자료가 될 것으로 기대한다.

대기오염제어를 위한 생물살수여과법에서 물질전달 Model과 계수에 관한 연구 (Mass Transfer Model and Coefficient on Biotrickling Filtration for Air Pollution Control)

  • 대기오염물질처리를 위한 생물살수여과법에서 물질전달현상을 이해하기 위한 선행 실험결과를 기초로 각각의 운전조건에서 기체/액체(살수액), 기체/고체(미생물)와 액체/고체에서의 model을 이용하여 물질전달계수를 평가하였다. 생물살수여과법에서 기/액에서는 정상상태물질수지, 그리고 액/고와 기/고에서는 동적물질수지를 이용하여 물질전달 model을 확립하고 그 결과를 고찰하였다. 물질전달 model은 여과탑을 일정크기 구획하여, 각 구획에서 동적 물질수지식을 수치해석 전산코드를 이용해 계산하였다. 동적물질수지식을 이용하여 계산된 결과는 실험결과와 비교하여 생물살수여과법에서 기/액, 기/고, 액/고 각상간의 물질전달계수($K_La$)를 산정하였다. 본 연구에서는 대기오염제어를 위한 생물살수여과법에서 물질전달계수를 결정하기 위한 실험방법개발과 model을 이용하여 물질전달현상을 고찰하였다.

홍삼제조과정 중 파낙사트리올계 진세노사이드의 물질균형 (The Mass Balance of Protopanaxtriol Ginsenosides in Red Ginseng Process)

  • This mass balance study about ginsenoside Rg1 and Re in Red ginseng processed from Fresh ginseng is useful to understand that herbal material sources of ginseng and raw material consumption in Red ginseng preparations. In our results, total molar amounts of ginsenoside Rg1, Re and their converts in Fresh ginseng, Red ginseng, and Red ginseng extract are substantially the same. The molar amounts of ginsenoside Rg1, Re (4.324, 2.880 μmol/g) as starting materials in Fresh ginseng are kept constant as total molar amounts (sum of starting and converts) in Red ginseng (4.264, 2.596 μmol/g) and Red ginseng extract (3.389, 3.129 μmol/g). This result means that protopanaxtriol type ginsenosides and their characteristic converts are not destroyed or inflowing in Red ginseng process. Therefore, it is important for quality assurance of Red ginseng preparations that the ratio between ginsenosides Rg1, Re and these converts is kept constant.

대기 분진의 무기 화학적 조성 분석과 Chemical Mass Balance에 의한 오염원 기여도 산출 (Characterization of Inorganic Chemicals in Total Suspended Particulates and a Source Apportionment by Chemical Mass Balance Model)

  • Twenty four metal, nonmetal elements and 4 major anions in total suspended particulates (TSP) collected at two sites in Daejon city from october to december in 1991 by a Hi-vol sampler were thoroughly analyzed by Inductively Coupled Plasma/ Atomic Emission Spectrometry (ICP/AES) and Ion Chromatography (IC). These analyzed data were used to perform a receptor modeling using the Chemical Mass Balance (CMB) for the source apportionment of TSP sample. Approximately 60% TSP weight in industrial complex area was influenced by potential industrial sources and 25% was by heating fuels and automobile emissions, whereas a half of TSP in residential area was influenced by surrounding environment and more than 35% of TSP was influenced by heating fuels. The CMB model provided source apportionment results reasonably and scientifically with a minor limitation.

Estimation of Landfill Stabilization using Carbon-based Mass Balance Evaluation

  • In order to evaluate landfill stabilization based on organic carbon, stoichiometric analysis and a biological methane potential (BMP) test based on modeling were performed at the 2nd Sudokwon Landfill Site. Mass balance analysis through a BMP test proved to be more adaptable for evaluation, and it showed that 28.9% of landfill organic carbon was expected to remain by 2046, 30 years after landfill closure. The organic carbon ratio of total landfill waste for 2046 is forecasted as 2.9% in demolition waste and 5.1% in household waste, and, if one were to consider plastic as an organic waste, the ratios would increase to 15.9% and 28.3%, respectively. Therefore, it seems that organic matter biodegradation facilitating measures such as bioreactor landfill technology and preemptive recovery of combustible waste are necessary to shorten post closure management periods and to meet the landfill stabilization guidelines more safely.

좁은 공간 내의 밀폐형 장치 냉각시스템에 대한 열평형 평가 (Evaluation of Heat Balance for Cooling System of an Armored Installation in Small Space)

  • In this study, the heat balance test of an engine was conducted, and the heat released to coolant is measured and corrected using a power adjustment factor for high fuel temperature to simulate heat rejection of the engine. An engine-converter matching simulation program which can compute the engine speed, transmission output speed, transmission input and output power is developed from the vehicle, transmission and engine performance curve. With this information and the engine heat rejection characteristics, the engine and transmission heat rejection rates can be determined at given condition. In analyzing the air mass flow, a sub program computing the air mass flow rate from the equation of the pressure balance between cooling fan static pressure rise and pressure losses of cooling components is developed.
