This paper presents study on technological forecasting of Next-Generation Display technology. Next-Generation Display technology is one of the emerging technologies lately. So databases on patent documents of this technology were analyzed first. And patent analysis was performed for finding out present technology trend. And the forecast for this technology was made by growth curves which were obtained from forecast models using patent documents. In previous study, Gompertz, Logistic, Bass were used for forecasting diffusion of demand in market. Gompertz, Logistic models which were often used for technological forecasting, too. So, two models were applied in this study. But Gompertz, Logistic models only consider internal effect of diffusion. And it is difficult to estimate maximum value of growth in two models. So, Bass model which considers both internal effect and external effect of diffusion was also applied. And maximum value of growth in Gompertz, Logistic models was estimated by Bass model.

Today, firms are constantly transforming and innovating to survive under the rapidly changing business environment. The introduction of cloud computing services has become popular throughout society as a whole and is expected to result in many changes and developments not only in firms and but also in the public sector subject to innovation. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the characteristics of cloud computing services on the perceived expected performance according to innovativeness based on innovation diffusion theory. The results of the analysis of the data collected from this research are as follows. The convenience and understanding of individuals' work as well as the benefits of cloud computing services to them depend on the innovative trend of cloud computing services. Further, the expectations for personal benefit and those for organizational benefit of cloud computing services are different from each other. Leading firms in the global market have been actively engaged in the utilization of cloud computing services in the public sector as well as in private firms. In consideration of the importance of cloud computing services, using cloud computing services as the target of innovation diffusion research is important. The results of the study are expected to contribute to developing future research models for the diffusion of new technologies, such as big data, digital convergence, and Internet of Things.

The study developed the ideas of innovation resistance attitude in view of innovation delay, rejection, and objection. Authors developed the idea of innovation resistance attitudes of customers in view of innovation diffusion process. The study categorized the idea of resistance such as delay, rejection, and objection. The study hired the structural equation modeling to evaluate the relationships among the consumers' subjective variables such as incongruence, uncertainty, perceived performance, peer usage, and tradition orientation those were factored out by the survey test. These measured variables were analyzed into the innovation resistance related latent variables. The study provides the basic treatment to introduce new technologies and products to the superficially resisting customers. Those resisting customers might be future late adopters. The research results provide the basic arguments for prerequisite treatment to introduce smart phone in the global market place.

The inferior alveolar nerve (IAN) block is the most frequently used mandibular injection technique for achieving local anesthesia for restorative and surgical procedures. However, The IAN block does not always result in successful anesthesia, especially pulpal anesthesia. Lidocaine is used as a "standard" local anesthetic for the inferior alveolar nerve. Articaine recently joined Korean market as a form of dental cartridge. It has an advantage of superior diffusion through bony tissue. A variety of trial was performed to improve the success rate of inferior alveolar nerve block. In this review, the recent update related with inferior alveolar nerve block anesthesia will be discussed on the anatomical consideration, anesthetic agent, technique, and complications.

Korea launched the world's first commercial 5G services in April 2019. Mobile traffic is expected to increase further with the acceleration of mobile-centric data utilization. It is one of the most important indexes of the growth of the mobile communications market, and it has a close relationship with frequency demand and supply, network management, and information communication policy. To overcome the limitations of an analytical solution due to the high complexity of the real world, this paper estimates the diffusion of 5G users using systemic thinking and the behavior of individual agents. Based on these demand forecasts, contributions to the establishment of strategic policies are suggested. For better understanding, global 5G predictions of subscribers and mobile traffic are also compared.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the case of leading company in digital contents to promote industrial competitiveness of Korea. Analysis of this case study focuses on function and roles of leading company in digital contents industry. The main results of the paper are as follows: First, the government should prepare, main, and improve required technological and legal infrastructure for digital contents as quickly as possible. Second, the diffusion of the new digital contents companies can be promoted by ensuring fare competition and reliable market. For the inducing of this results, brainstorming methodology of related expert and survey research with leading company were applied to this paper.

While ubiquitous healthcare (u-health) services were expected to propagate along with conventional healthcare services, recent progress indicated rather limited market acceptance. In this paper, we investigated the fundamental causes of why the consumer acceptance level of u-health services has been low. We draw upon innovation adoption theories to analyze the consumer readiness of the typical u-health services. The comparative analysis between innovative u-health services and conventional services was performed using analytic hierarchy process (AHP). Subsequently, policy and business implications including technological breakthrough insights were discussed based on the customer perspective comparative adoption analysis. The propositions captured through this study provide useful insight to further studies on u-health services.

The remarkable growth of the Internet since mid-l990s has expanded the e-learning market and brought the transformation of educational environments and methodology. It can be said that the e-learning has changed the educational paradigm. Korean government is firmly determined to support the diffusion of e-learning because of the benefits of e-learning. People seem to accept the e-learning when its contents have high quality. A lot of research have been conducted on e-learning, however, it was mostly about user's usage intention, satisfaction and educational effect. It can't seem that sufficient research efforts have been put into figuring out the role of e-learning contents quality in the expansion of e-learning. In this paper, we present the empirical study on the influence of e-learning contents quality on user's satisfaction and educational effect. We conducted an questionnaire survey on college students to collect data and found that the quality of e-learning contents has significant influence on the users' satisfaction.

Among a variety of asset dynamics models in order to explain the common properties of financial underlying assets, parametric models are meaningful when their parameters are set reliably. There are two main methods from which we can obtain them. They are to use time-series data of an underlying price or the market option prices of the underlying at one time. Based on the Girsanov theorem, in the pure diffusion models, the parameters calibrated from the option prices should be partially equivalent to those from time-series underling prices. We call this phenomenon model consistency. In this paper, we verify that the two-state regime switching Black-Scholes model is superior in the sense of model consistency, comparing with two popular conventional models, the Black-Scholes model and Heston model.

Such osmotic drug delivery systems are based on osmosis, the diffusion of water transversely from a medium with a low osmotic pressure to a medium with a high osmotic pressure for the controlled delivery of active agents. In this review, U.S. Patents on osmotic drug delivery analyze 261 patents until December 2001. These devices form now a major market of drug delivery products. Because of their advantage and innovate idea, it appears that the future of oral drug delivery mark,εt in Korea is promising.
