The Effects of a Marine Leisure Exhibition Event's Appraisal Attributes on Visitors' Satisfaction and Re-visit Intention

  • The purposes of this study were to analyze the effects of a marine leisure exhibition event(MLEE)'s appraisal attributes on visitors' satisfaction and rep-visit intention and thus provide fundamental information that facilitates developing effective marketing and operational strategies for a MLEE. In order to accomplish such purposes, this study employed a survey with a total of 300 visitors to a MLEE hosted by G Province. Questionnaires were developed on the basis of related studies and modified to reflect the study context. Then, such questionnaires were verified to be valid and reliable through content validity, factor analysis and internal consistency analysis. Valid 286 questionnaires were analyzed with correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis on significance level of .05. Following findings were derived from current study. First of all, the appraisal attributes of a MLEE had a significant effect on visitors' satisfaction and among them only the factor of event program had a unique relation with the levels of satisfaction. In addition, the appraisal attributes of the MLEE also had a significant effect on visitors' rep-visit intention behavior and among them event program, transportation and employee factors had unique relations with the performance variable in order. In conclusion, all the research hypotheses that had been set up through previous studies were confirmed in this study.

  • This study is designed to analyze the production, employment, value added and income impacts tha, in the event of designation and development of Haeundae as 'Convention, Movie, Marine Leisure Special Zone', its marine sector would have on the local economy. The realization of marine leisure special zone of Haeundae in Busan is expected to lead to a direct and indirect investment of approx. \13.6 billion, resulting in \68.0 billion in production impact, 850 jobs in employment impact, \28.0 billion in value added impact and \14.5 billion in income impact. This is expected to give a boost to a stagnant local economy, offering opportunities for the revival of Busan's tourist industry.

  • 본 연구는 해양레저전시이벤트 서비스품질 불만족이 불평행동 및 재구매의도에 미치는 영향을 분석해 성공적인 해양레저전시이벤트 마케팅 전략 수립의 기초자료를 제공하기 수행되었다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 본 연구에서는 2012년 G도에서 개최된 해양레저전시이벤트 방문객 350명에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였고 다중회귀분석을 통해 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 해양레저전시이벤트 서비스품질의 불만족 수준은 7점 Likert 척도를 기준으로 3.29점에서 3.85점 사이에 위치하고 있었다. 둘째, 해양레저전시이벤트 서비스 불만족 요인 중 직원, 환경, 전시시설은 불평행동에 유의한 정적 영향을 미치고 있었으며 직원, 환경은 미행동에 유의한 영향을 미치고 있었다. 셋째, 해양레저전시이벤트 서비스품질 불만족 요인 중 전시시설만이 재방문의도 및 타인추천의도에 유의한 부적 영향을 미치고 있었다. 마지막으로 해양레저전시이벤트 방문객의 불평행동 요인은 재방문의도 및 타인추천의도에 유의한 부적 영향을 미치고 있었다. 이러한 연구결과는 해양레저전시이벤트 개최의 성과 지표인 안정적인 방문객 확보를 위한 서비스마케팅 전략 수립의 기초자료를 제공하고 있다.

  • 본 연구는 해양레저스포츠 발전 방인을 모색하는 연구이다. 해양레저스포츠의 세계적인 흐름을 볼 때 우리나라도 여가와 삶의 질을 매우 중요시하는 문화가 다가올 것이며, 이러한 문화로 인하여 본격적인 해양관광 시대가 도래 될 것이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 SWOT분석을 통하여 발전방안을 모색해 보고자 한다. 이에 대한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 우리나라 해양레저스포츠 저변화를 위한 강점은 국가 및 각 지방자치단체의 관심고조, 개발된 해양레저스포츠시설로 인한 각 지역행사 확대 및 프로그램 다양화이다. 둘째, 우리나라 해양레저스포츠 저변화를 위한 약점은 해양레저스포츠에 대한 인식, 잦은 해양안전사고 발생, 해양레저스포츠 전문가 부족이다. 셋째, 우리나라 해양레저스포츠 저변화를 위한 기회는 정부 및 지방정부의 관심고조로 인한 예산 확대, 국민의 해양스포츠 선호이다. 넷째, 우리나라 해양레저스포츠 저변화를 위한 위협은 국가 및 각 지방자치단체의 고비용 건설비 투자로 인한 효율성 약화, 고비용 건설비 투자로 인한 시설사용료 고비용 우려, 레저스포츠시설 지도자의 처우개선 등으로 나타났다.

해양레저이벤트의 경제적 파급효과 분석 (Analyses of Economic Impacts of an Marine Leisure Event on the Host City)

  • 본 연구는 최근 많은 지방자치단체의 관심을 끌고 있는 해양레저이벤트의 경제적 파급효과를 분석하기 위해 B광역시에서 개최한 국제 해양레저이벤트 방문객 및 선수단에 대한 소비지출 현황조사와 이벤트개최도시의 투자지출 자료를 활용해 해양레저이벤트의 산업연관분석을 실시해 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 해양레저이벤트의 방문객 및 선수단의 소비지출에 따른 직접효과는 3.87억원이었으며 이에 따른 생산유발효과는 5.91억원, 부가가치유발효과는 3.06억원 그리고 소득유발효과는 2.52억원이었다. 둘째, 해양레저이벤트 개최도시의 투자지출에 따른 경제적 파급효과는 생산유발효과는 8.25억원, 부가가치유발효과는 4.32억원 그리고 소득유발효과는 3.66억원이었다. 결론적으로 본 연구는 해양레저이벤트 개최의 파급효과을 극대화하기 위한 마케팅 전략 및 정책 수립의 기초자료를 제공하고 있다.

해양산업 인적자원개발 방향 탐색 (An Exploration of Direction for Human Resource Development in Marine industry)

  • The purpose of this research is to grasp the present state of marine lifelong education and to provide direction for maritime industry. In this research, we first saw our country present ocean industry and the ocean lifelong education concept and definition besides formal school education to secure ocean human capital. Second, we researched about the ocean lifelong education that has been progressing by the organization, and by this, we inferred what to improve from our country ocean lifelong education. As a result, the improvement point for present ocean lifelong education of our country was first, the reflect of variety of marine related information in our country lifelong education is low, second, the learners were mostly children and teenagers, third, most of the were event education. Forth, it is good that there are a lot of experimenting programs, but most of them were experiment of ocean leisure sports and visiting the facilities, and because these are one-time thing so it was hard to secure marine citizenship or help them set their career in marine. Fifth, all facilities had similar contents for the experimenting program, and sixth, education period was concentrated on May and November.

해양레저 전시이벤트의 평가속성이 방문객 만족도 및 재구매 행동에 미치는 영향

  • 이 연구는 해양레저 전시이벤트의 평가속성이 방문객 만족도 및 재구매 행동에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석해 해양레저 전시이벤트의 효과적인 마케팅 및 경영 전략 수립의 기초자료를 제공하기 위해 수행되었다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 2010년 10월 G도에서 개최한 대한민국국제요트대전의 방문객 300명을 편의표본추출법을 통해 조사대상으로 선정하고 현장 설문조사를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 유효설문지 286부를 기술통계, 요인분석, 상관관계분석 그리고 다중회귀분석을 통해 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 해양레저 전시이벤트의 평가속성은 방문객 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치고 있었으며($R^2$=.260, p=.000), 평가속성 중 행사(${\beta}$=.300, p=.000) 요인만이 만족도에 영향을 미치고 있었다. 둘째, 해양레저 전시이벤트의 평가속성은 방문객의 재구매 행동에 유의한 영향을 미치고 있었으며($R^2$=.274, p=.000), 평가속성 중 행사(${\beta}$=.293, p=.000), 교통(${\beta}$=.180, p=.010) 그리고 종사원(${\beta}$=.134, p=.047) 순으로 상대적 영향력을 미치고 있었다.

  • In the middle of economic and mental riches in the 21st century, the importance of well being and the pursuit of happiness are emerging as the new trend. Thus the lifestyle that values comfortable and practical naturalness and intrinsic merits has come to influence the human life rather than the old showing-off and formal desire. In addition to this, the spread of the five day week has given more leisure time, which has led to the increasing interest in health and leisure. The interest in sports has skyrocketed since the successful holding of the 2002 Korea and Japan World Cup event. All these changes to the lifestyle have contributed to the fusion of luxury wear and sports wear. As the result of the consumers in the 21st century having more classified and upgraded way of living thanks to the settlement of the above-mentioned lifestyle and the enlargement of the leisure sports culture, there has appeared the wellness kin, who value the importance of life and the nature and believe in the idea that they can reconstruct the environment in the way they can enjoy their lifestyle and pursue happiness. They favor healthy fashion items and think much of exercise, nutrition, and rest. They pursue the natural and comfortable style, whose ideas came from simple exercises such as health training and yoga and the easy and comfortable look observed at resorts. Their fashion style can be divided into three of fitness fashion, yoga fashion and resort fashion. First, the boxer fashion is characterized by the relaxing design and practicality. The major items of the fashion include running shirt-styled upper clothes, training pants, hooded shirts and sneakers. Simple and comfortable look should be induced from the combination of the items. Second, the yoga fashion was motivated by the comfortable yoga wear. It advocates stress-free spirit and comfortable and stable naturalism. Along with the advantages of the good feeling to wear and the functionality to help exercise better, the yoga fashion gives the wearer enough room to move around in, using the unique lines. Third, the resort wear refers to the kinds of clothes you tend to wear at the beach and the park. There are various kinds of the resort look; bathing suits, the beach wear you can wear with the bathing suit, the resort evening wear, the full-side look that you try on top of the bathing suit and is made of the same material of the bathing suit, and the marine look, the symbol of the summer. In short, the study attempted to investigate many trends occurring as the result of human recent increasing interest and concern in the quality of life, and the impacts of them on the fashion world. This kind of research that examines the background of the times and society will help to grasp with the fashion trends of the present and the future. And more studies should be conducted on the development of new and original design in clothes fashion, which reflects the characteristics identified in this kind of research.

감천항 수산물 도매시장 조경설계 (Landscape Design of Gamcheon Wholesale Fish Market)

  • The landscape disign of Gamcheon wholesale fish Market was designed around a turnkey base to promote the economy of Busan Metropolitan City, to establish a fishery marketing center and to modernize existing facilities. The objectives of the project were to promote the mood of an old market, while preserving its functions and efficiency as a market, to design outdoor spaces with natural resources and amenities in balance, and to create attractive tourist spots in connection with the wide area development plan. The project was oriented, fast, to enhance the functions of the market. For this purpose, a multi-dimensional space layout was designed in consideration of functions as a wholesale market. The safety of pedestrians was secured by separating lathes for vehicles and for pedestrians. Tree planting with various functions such as sheltering, wind breaking and guiding was planned. Secondly, nature-friendly and human-friendly landscaping design was attempted. For this, the beautiful natural resources of Amnam Park were utilized, and green spaces such as green bridges linking buildings in the wholesale market, and rooftop gardens were to be arranged. In addition, environment-friendly facilities such as roads paved with natural materials(i.e. gravel, shells) and program parking lots were to be planned. Thirdly, landscape design was considered to create attractive tourist spots. For example, a fish farm was created as a theme street for pedestrians and various water-friendly spaces such as pedestrian ramps, observatories and seaside streets were to be secured. The main contents are as follows. First, a green bridge to Ahnnam Park was introduced for a tour source and flower garden, an event plan and viewing deck open to the sea were planned on the bridge's axis. Secondly, for the effective land use plan concerning open space and convenience to visitors, a promenade was planned, which is connected with the theme plaza and small plazas by environmental sculptures in front of the market hall and at the gate. As well, an observatory and a roof garden help create three dimensional multi leveled space, with a good view of the natural landscape of the sea, sky and park Thirdly, landscape materials, such as trees and those for facilities, strengthened for protection against the seawind and salt damage were selected. The commercial market area was intended to be transformed a traditional functional area of efficiency and economy into an attractive marine leisure area where both tourists and neighbors can make use of it.

여수반도권 지역발전을 위한 컨벤션센터의 입지분석 및 건립전략 (Establishment Strategies and Location Analysis of Convention Center for Regional Development of The Yosu Peninsular Area)

  • 컨벤션의 유치와 개최는 인적 물적 교류를 통한 국제 상호간의 이해를 증진시키고, 지역정제를 활성화시킨다는 측면에서 지역정책론자들의 관심의 대상이 되고 있다. 컨벤션센터는 도시의 정치 경제 문화의 중심적인 기능을 수행하기 때문에 선진국의 대부분 도시에는 컨벤션센터가 건립되어 있다. 컨벤션 및 컨벤션 산업은 일반 관장산업과는 달리 부가가치가 매우 높은 관광활동이기 때문에 오늘날 대도시의 새로운 관광산업으로 등장하고 있다. 본 연구는 다가오는 21세기 여수반도권의 여건변화를 고려하여 여수반도권의 컨벤션센터 건립의 필요성, 컨벤션센터의 입지성 분석, 지역 여건에 적합한 리조트형 컨벤션센터의 건립방향 및 추진전략을 제시해 보았다. 특히 여수반도권은 다가오는 2000년대에 환태평양시대 동북아 경제권의 해운 항만의 거점중심지, 중화학 철강 기계 등을 중심으로 한 우리 나라의 신산업지구로 기능하여 새로운 해상위락 관광재발의 요구가 증대될 지역으로 전망된다. 이러한 지역 내외적 변화에 적극적으로 대처하기 위한 방안의 하나로서 컨벤션센터의 건립이 요구된다. 그리고 선진국의 임해지역에서 활용하고 있는 텔레포트 기능과 리조트 기능, 그리고 컨벤션 기능을 적절하게 조화시키는 것이 매우 필요하며, 이를 위해서는 리조트형 컨벤션센터의 건립이 필요하다.
