In the circumstances of overflowing numbers of medical journals, progress of their own medical journal is one of the primary concerns of many medical societies. Among the 46-year-history of Journal of Korean Neurosurgical Society (JKNS), it undertook a period of important transition and preparation to take off for journal with international reputation during the period from 2001 to 2006. The overall process of manuscript handling, peer review, and editorial work has undergone systematic improvement. Workshops for authors, reviewer and editors were held, which were very helpful to improve the quality of submitted manuscript, peer review and editorial processing. Articles on the history, current status of the JKNS, citations and the change of proportion of types of articles were published, which provided insight about present condition and direction for further progress. It was changed into English journal in 2005. These efforts resulted in registration of the journal Chemical Abstract Service in 2005 and Science Citation Index Expanded in 2008 and SCOPUS in 2009. Now JKNS has become international journal, with about half of the submitted manuscripts from abroad, with increasing impact factor. Along with the effort of Korean Neurosurgical Society (KNS) members and support of KNS, dedication of Professor Dong Gyu Kim for the progress of JKNS is worth remembering, who served as Editor-in-Chief of JKNS during this period.

Recently, various messenger is used for information sharing and exchange between individual. Messenger is using by important means of communication in the company. Oxidations of metal generate large quantity of thermal and light energies but no toxic pollutants, so that metals with high calorific values, such as beryllium, boron, aluminum, magnesium, and lithium, are possible to be used as clean fuels instead of fossil fuels. However, they are so explosive due to very high oxidation rates that they should be stabilized by their surface passivation with oxides, organics and inorganics. For reasonable use of energetic metal particles as solid fuel, therefore, some detail information, such as thermal properties, preparation and passivation methods, and application area, of the energetic metals is introduced in this manuscript.

This project of total city plan is developed for the area of DONGDAEGU station in the field of new city-core which is adapted for a forefront city and rational restructuring of the city space and improving for balanced growth according to the first phase operation of Korean high speed line and its complete construction to BUSAN. Sinbundang Line(SBL) Train moves the transition zone where is located between Jeongja station and Migeum station switched over from Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) system area to Automatic Train Control (ATC) system area and viceversa. The SBL train to move the between SBL and Bundang Line is needed to install the Specific Transmission Module (STM) on SBL Line for interface with Bundang Line; STM receives from speed code from Bundang Line. So we suggested the method to ensure mutual compatibility and reliability for train operation on each other signaling system.

This article aims to (1) come up with a new way of the classification by analysing 2,475 of the documents in the Archives of the National Debt Redemption Movement(NDRM) recently registered as the Memory of the World; (2) make a proposal of their rules for archival description with reference to ISAD(G) 2ND EDITION, ISSAR, and NAK. This leads to the suggestion of necessity to make archivistically the rules for archival description of archives in the Memory of the World and manage them on the rules, in view of the recent trend of increasing the number of the records registered as the Memory of the World and adding the records even after their registration. The archives of NDRM is an artificial collection. It can be said that the classification of manuscript collection on the basis of the preparation subject according to Schellenberg's principle of the provenance is the most systematic. On the foundation of it, the suggestions of various classifications by activities, times, sorts of records, medias, topics, etc. would permit to search and interpret the archives in the Memory of the World with more efficiency.

Kushta Jast (KJ) is a unique herbo-mineral preparation of the Unani System of Medicine (USM) which is prepared by taklis (calcination) and prescribed by the practitioners of USM for the treatment of various ailments, including the respiratory ailments. It is used as muqawwi (tonic) to boost the immunity (Muqawwi-i-badan), and can increase the phagocyte activity of the immune cells, thereby, promoting the growth and spread of lymphocytes and increasing circulating antibodies to neutralize a harmful pathogen and reduce humma or body fever (Dafi'-i-humma). Incidentally, the principal mineral component of KJ, zinc, has been widely acknowledged for its beneficial influence on the immune function, and decrease the risk of developing serious respiratory illnesses. In this manuscript, we provide a glimpse of the literature on KJ and postulate its potential beneficial effects in respiratory infections, including COVID-19.

Considering the traffic condition of railroad 'KTX' links to lack of service's punctuality in nation's small/ medium cities, design guidelines with practical railroad transportation policies in terms of convenient railroadbus connection and improving comfortable ride is suggested. Following the guideline and policies, operational requirements of current railroad-bus connection system, the system's design consideration, and transportation policies and laws in relation to the bus operating companies should be analyzed to decide the practicality of the railroad-bus connecting infrastructure. Also, in order to achieve practical railroad-bus connection, connecting buses' design guideline is combined with suggested optimization method of the practicality transportation system. Lastly, the design guideline of buses as 'links,' and railroad transportation policies concerning the operation of connecting bus system for nation's small/medium cities are suggested.
