이동 환경에 적합한 RFID 응용 프로그램들을 실시간으로 운영하기 위해서는 수집 데이터를 실시간으로 가공하여 유용한 정보만을 응용 클라이언트로 전달하는 모바일 단말 전용 RFID 미들웨어가 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 모바일 환경에서 실시간 데이터 처리 환경을 지원하도록 최적화된 모바일 RFID 미들웨어 응용으로 Pet(애완동물) 관리 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 제안된 Pet 관리 시스템은 등록기능, 검색기능, 통신기능, 표출기능을 갖는 모듈들로 구성되었으며, 서버로부터의 정보를 읽어와 표출할 수 있는 기능을 갖는다. 또한 PDA 단말에 캡춰된 Pet 관리시스템의 데이터는SOAP(Simple Object Access Protocol) 응용접근프로토콜을지원하는모바일응용인터페이스를 통해 서버와 다른 클라이언트로 전송할 수 있다.

의료정보는 환자에게 중요한 개인정보로써 반드시 보호되어야 하는 중요 정보이다. EMR((Electronic Medical Records) 시스템은 개인정보와 의료정보가 유출될 경우, 환자의 사생활 침해 등 매우 심각한 피해를 초래할 수 있어 EMR 시스템의 의료정보는 사용자 접근에 관한 제어 및 통제 강화 등 높은 보안성이 요구되는 시스템이다. 특히 의료인이 전자의무기록에 접근할 때, 보안이 강화된 신원확인에 대한 인증방식이 반드시 필요하다. 그러나 기존의 공인인증서 기반의 인증모델은 개인키 관리, 권한위임 등의 문제로 인해 전자의무기록의 보안 특성을 반영하지 못하였다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 전자의무기록(EMR) 시스템 접근 시 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 보안이 강화된 지문인식 기반 인증 모델을 제안한다. 제안한 인증 모델은 PEMS(Private-key Escrow Management Server)를 이용한 EMR 지문인증 모델로서, 개인키 위탁 프로토콜과 개인키 인출 프로토콜을 적용하여, 개인키 관리와 권한위임 문제를 해결할 수 있도록 하였다. 제안한 인증 모델은 성능 실험을 통해 기존의 공인인증서 기반 인증에 비해 수행시간 단축된 것을 확인할 수 있었고, 기존 전자서명 비밀번호 방식을 대체 가능하며, 사용자의 편의성이 증가된 장점이 있다.

Automated manufacturing systems are applied to shop floors as tools for increase of productivity and quality and the decrease of manufacturing lead times and industry accidents. One of the most important issue of the present day is the application of Internet. The development of Internet technologies makes manufacturing enterprises break spacial barriers between users and shop floors, and collect various field data in remote sites. In this research, an Internet-based remote control system for a small-sized automated storage and retrieval system is developed for the purpose of real-time monitoring and control of automatic production equipment. The developed system has a client-server architecture and sends real-time images of the automated storage and retrieval system to clients by an CCD camera connected to a server.

We present a procedure which finds the probability distribution of number of customers accumulated when the server ends a vacation in the Geo/G/1 gated queueing system, where the service for a customer and the vacation, respectively, takes one slot time. The pp. g. f. for the number of customers accumulated at the gate closing epoch is obtained as a recursive form. The full probabilities, then, are derived using an iterative procedure. This system finds an application in a packet transmitting telecommunications system where the server transmits(serves) packets(customers) accumulated at a gate closing epoch, and takes one slot time vacation thereafter.

This paper introduces an comprehensive monitoring and management program for implementation of a real-time monitoring system that monitors condition of urban railway AC/DC transformers, disconnecting switches, circuit breakers, regulators, and GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear). Especially, the system is applied to diagnose the overall condition of urban railway substations by sending acquired data through an OPC server to a database, effectively storing and monitoring conditions simultaneously. The above system is a management based system and is also applicable to small-scale systems.

In this paper, a study on a method for designing and implementing an environmental information system to support environmental activities was done. First of all, research on the similar information system and necessary functions were derived. Necessary functions were largely classified into functions for cooperation such as policy consultation and publicity, and functions for environmental information data. Collaboration functions are classified in detail, and detailed contents of this function are summarized. In addition, a data model was designed for various environmental information, and an information server and client interface are designed as a cloud application. Cloud server configuration and design, and client web and app programs to access these information were implemented and tested each functions successfully.

Traditional configuration management involves complex labor-intensive processes performed by experts. The configuration tasks such as installing or reconfiguring a system, provisioning network services and allocating resources typically involve a large number of activities involving multiple network elements. The network elements may be associated with proprietary configuration management instrumentation and may also be spread across heterogeneous network domains thereby increasing the complexity of configuration management. This paper introduces an architecture for the self-configuration of networks (SELFCON). The proposed architecture involves a directory server, which is uses to maintain configuration information. The configuration information stared in the directory server is modeled using the standard DEN specification thereby allowing effective exchange of network, system and configuration management data among heterogeneous management domains. SELFCON associates configuration intelligence with the components of the network, rather than limit it to a centralized management station. The network elements are notified about related changes in configuration policies, based upon which, they perform self-configuration. SELFCON is able to provide automation of configuration management and also an effective unifying framework for enterprise management.

In this paper, we describe a case study to improve performance through the load testing of multi-tired system for financial accounts before the system opening. The load test was conducted after the data collection tools(Performance Monitor, DB PSSDiag) were installed. By analyzing the collected log, we were able to identify the main sector requiring performance improvements among the presentation tier, web tier, business logic tier and data tier. The ASP.NET server-down on the web tier could be improved by modifying the parameter values in the configuration file. Some server downs occurred on the business logic tier when a large number of users access at the same time, were more difficult to be solved. By analyzing the hang-dump at the server-down time, we were able to find a process that caused the problem. and we had to modify the relevant codes. For major performance improvements of the data-tier, indices of some queries was optimized by using the built-in DBMS query analyzer, after analyzing the log of long-response-time queries. The problems and solutions considered in this case study will be a reference for the performance improvement of a multi-layer system with the similar structure.

최근 토목, 지하수탐사, 환경분야 등에서 각종 지구물리탐사자료의 수요 증가와 이들 자료의 품질관리 및 전산화에 대한 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 따라서, 지구물리 탐사자료의 효율적 관리 및 공유를 위하여 Client/Server(C/S)환경 및 웹(Web)환경 물리탐사자료 관리시스템을 개발하였다. C/S환경의 관리시스템은 MS SQL-Server을 이용하여 관계형 데이터베이스 시스템으로 설계하였고 각종 물리탐사 자료의 규격화, Window용 C/S 인터페이스 프로그램 개발, 검색자료 전송 프로그램 개발 등으로 특징된다. 웹환경에서의 일반 사용자용 데이터베이스 시스템은 물리탐사 이미지자료 표현을 위한 플러그인 모듈개발과, 한국자원연구소 웹사이트 개설 및 홈페이지 작성 등으로 이루어진다.

기존의 중대형 POS 시스템을 무선인터넷 환경에 적용하여 모바일 정보 단말기와 개인용 컴퓨터만으로 구성할 수 있는 방안을 제시한다. 기존의 중대형 POS 시스템이 제공하는 물류, 경영 및 관리 등의 부문에서 얻을 수 있는 많은 이점을 살리면서, 바코드 시스템과 같은 부수적인 장치를 사용할 필요가 없이 모바일 연동을 통한 자동화된 정보수집과 관리가 가능한 POS 시스템을 제안한다. 본 시스템은 주문용 모바일 정보 단말기, 점포내의 메인 서버, 주방의 모니터와 프린터 등에 주문 정보를 유무선으로 전송하여 실시간으로 정보를 공유하도록 한다. 또한 기존의 주문 전용 PDA와는 달리 현장 발생 데이터를 실시간으로 수집 전송하여 기업의 회계, 매출, 자재, 인력 관리 시스템 등에 즉시 연동하여 기업 관리 및 의사 결정에 활용할 수 있도록 편의를 제공한다. 모바일 단말기에는 별도의 프로그램이 필요 없으며, 모바일 단말기에서 발생한 주문 정보는 메인 서버의 웹 서버를 통해 데이터베이스로 입력되며, 메인 서버, 프린터에 정보를 전달한다. 소프트웨어 측면에서도 메인 서버의 매장 관리 프로그램과 모바일 단말기와의 통신을 위한 모듈만으로 POS 시스템의 확장을 위한 추가적인 소프트웨어 제작은 필요하지 않다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방법은 인터넷의 확산에 따른 유통정보화의 요소들 중 판매시점의 모든 정보를 처리하여, 거래 데이터의 정보화를 위한 POS 시스템을 무선 인터넷과 개인용 컴퓨터, 모바일 단말기를 이용하여 별도의 특정 장비 없이 구축비용 및 유지보수 비용을 낮추어 줌으로써 소규모 매장에 확산 적용될 수 있다.
