A mathematical definition of the cluster is suggested. A nonlinear 0-1 integer programming formulation for the multi-dimensional entity clustering problem is developed. A heuristic method named MDEC (Multi-Dimensional Entity Clustering) using centroids and the binary partition is developed and the numerical examples are shown. This method has an advantage of providing bottle-neck entity informations.

In recent years, there has been a demand for a residential supply model that can actively and flexibly cope with various housing demands in the changing paradigm of public rental housing. This study focuses on the two-step supply system that has been studied in Japan. It was used to examine and analyze cases to recommend a supply plan that can be used for domestic public rental housing. In more detail, the literature review of the two-step supply system discloses that four types by supply methods (A-1, A-2, B-2, and C-2) and four types of relationship (construction and management combine entities type, management entity type, construction entity type, a separated entity type) can be categorized. In addition, from the actual case study, it revealed that the way of linking and supplying activities among the entity can have a great influence on "ease of supply (supply)", "diversity of housing demand (diversity)," and "quality of construction (construction)". "Ease of supply (supply)" refers to whether the construction entity is separated, and the owner is a manager. "Diversity" refers to whether the management subject is separated, and if the owner is also the constructor or the manager. "Construction" is whether the management entity is connected and managed by the management entity and can be evaluated in "Good", "Middle", and "Bad" level. As a summary, even if the existing public rental housing in Korea can be separated into a skeleton and infill system, the result suggested that it has a limitation on response to residential demand. In addition, the paper was able to propose an improved plan to make the infill as a secondary operator.

최근 메타데이터 표준의 국제적 흐름은 기록을 둘러싼 다양한 맥락정보를 개체로 설정하고 이들 각 개체 간의 다양한 관계를 보여주는 다중 개체 모형의 적용이다. 이에, 이 논문에서는 다중 개체 모형을 적용한 기록관리 메타데이터의 표준인 ISO 23081-2, 호주, 뉴질랜드, 호주의 뉴사우스웨일즈주, 퀸즈랜드주, 사우스오스트레일리 아주 표준의 특징을 비교 분석하였다. 분석은 1) 적용범위, 2) 개체수, 3) 개체 내 카테고리, 4) 요소 설계 방법을 중심으로 비교하고, 다중 개체에 있어서 가장 핵심인 관계(relationship) 개체가 어떻게 구현될 수 있는지, 실제 사례를 통해 살펴본다. 마지막으로 앞선 분석을 통해 다중 개체 모형을 적용하여 표준을 제정 할 때 고려해야 할 몇 가지 사항들을 정리해 본다.

전사적 데이터 모델을 개발하기 위해서는, 먼저, 기업에 있어서 중요하게 관리되어져야 할 주요 entity들을 파악하는 것이 선행되어야 한다. entity의 결정은 시스템 개발 전 단계에 걸쳐 지대한 영향을 끼치는 중요한 의사결정이나, 아직까지 이는 매우 주관적일 뿐 아니라 의사결정자의 경험 및 전문성에 매우 의존적이다. 또한 때로는 entity의 결정에 필요 이상의 많은 시간이 소요되기도 한다. 본 연구에서는 entity결정에 직면한 의사결정자를 지원하기 위하여, 사례기반 추론 기술을 채택한 의사결정지원시스템을 설계 개발하였다. 본 시스템에서는 과거에 성공적으로 entity를 결정했었다고 평가되는 사례로부터, 해당 기업의 상황에 적합한 새로운 결론을 도출해서 의사결정자를 효과적으로 지원한다.

Although many years passed since 'The Legislative bill on the support of voluntary activities of enterprises for disaster reduction'(hereinafter referred to as 'enterprise disaster reduction act') has been first enacted in 2007, BCMS is still not activated in our society. In contrast, after 911 Terror, importance of BCM is getting magnified and standardization research & institutionalization i s a lso proceeding i all over world. Lately, Disaster preventing activities is urgently needed like the sinking of 'Sewol ferry'. So the purpose of this paper is proposed for establishment of 'BCMS' and activation of the certificate system for Best-Run Business by analyzing the problem of 'enterprise disaster reduction act' and weak of activation as following. First, propel changing the policy of self-regulated participation to mandatory about the certificate system for Best-Run Business from public entity to government ministry and it is able to activate by propelling demo business of the certificate system for Best-Run Business. Second, public entity that has been given the certificate system for Best-Run Business by affiliating with Disaster Management Assessment of government management can be exempted from Disaster Management Assessment or those entity can arrange for connectivity acquisition method of 'Excellent rate'. Third, to publicize the activation of the law mentioned above, makes public entity r ecognizable by incorporating 'BCMS' into National safety management plan and establishment of National critical infrastructures security plan. Fourth, it should be reviewed to improving the related act regarding to inclusion of public organizations as well as private enterprises.

Voronoi diagram of a set of geometric entities on a plane such as points, line segments, or arcs is a collection of Voronoi polygons associated with each entity, where Voronoi polygon of an entity is a locus of point which is closer to the associated entity than any other entity. Voronoi diagram is one of the most fundamental geometrical construct and well-known for its theoretical elegance and the wealth of applications. Various geometric problems can be solved with the aid of Voronoi diagram. For example, the maximum tool diameter of a milling cutter for rough cutting in a pocket can be easily found, and the pocketing tool path can be efficiently generated from Voronoi diagram. In PCB design, the design rule checking can be easily done via Voronoi diagram, too. This paper discusses an algorithm to construct Voronoi diagram of a simple polygon which consists of simple curves such as line segments as well as arcs in a plane with O(nlogn) time complexity by employing the divide and conquer scheme.

객체-관계성(ER:entity-relationship)모델을 이용한 지식표현모델은 실세계를 객체(entity)들 또는 객체들의 집합들 사이의 서로간에 관계성(relationship)으로 나타낸다. 그러나 고정된 측면에서 표현되기 때문에 하나의 객체를 여러가지 측면에서 관찰할 수 없다. 반면 객체-측면(EA:entity-aspect)모델은 객체노드와 측면노드의 두가지 형을 갖는 노드들로 구성되어 측면에 따라 서로 다른 지식을 표현 할 수 있으므로 하나의 객체를 여러가지 측면에서 관찰할 수 있고, 그 세부적 계층구조를 나타낼 수 있는 장점이 있으나 너무 계층성을 강조하며, 객체간의 관계성을 나타낼 수가 없어 계층구조 속에 포함되지 않은 객체는 지식으로 표현 할 수 없어 실세계의 다양한 지식을 표현하는데 부자연스럽다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 객체-관계성(ER)모델의 관계성과 객체-측면(EA)모델의 측면성을 통합하여 객체 측면-관계성(EAR)모델을 제시하고, 이 모델에서 객체간의 관계성을 하나의 객체로 간주함으로 IS-A측면에 의하여 하위레벨로 계승할 수 있음을 보였다.

본 연구는 스포츠 영상기록물의 효과적인 관리 검색 활용을 목적으로 다중개체 모형을 기반으로 하여 메타데이터 요소들을 제안하였다. 스포츠 영상기록이 가진 특성을 표현하고 풍부한 맥락 정보를 제공하기 위하여 스포츠 경기, 경기 참여자, 영상기록, 기록관리업무의 네 가지 개체들을 선정하였으며, 각 개체에 해당하는 메타데이터 요소들을 추출하였다. 또한 스포츠 인물 및 팀에 대한 용어에 일관성을 유지하고 보다 상세한 정보를 제공하고자 인물과 팀에 대한 전거레코드를 제안하였다. 제안된 다중개체 모형과 메타데이터 요소들, 그리고 스포츠 인물 및 팀 전거레코드는 체육학과 교수들과 스포츠 마케팅 전문가로 이루어진 전문가 집단과의 면담을 통해서 검정되었고 수정, 확대되었다.

본 논문에서는 기존 의료 영상 이동 방법에서 생기는 문제점을 해결하기 위해서 의료 영상 데이터의 관리기법을 제안하였다. 의료영상 데이터의 관리기법으로써 EAT(Expanded Average Transaction time) 데이터 이동 기법과 시간 연관성 기반 데이터 저장 방법을 제안하였다. EAT데이터 이동 기법에서는 각 저장 영역에 저장되는 개체 버전을 구분하는 경계값과 각 영역에 저장되는 개체 버전을 정의하였다 시간 연관성에 기반한 데이터 저장 방법에서는 임의 두 개체 버전에 대한 겹침의 정도와 간격의 정도를 정의하였고, 두 값을 통합하여 개체 버전을 저장 장치에 배치하는 방법을 보였다. 시간 질의의 비율을 변화시키면서 클러스터의 참조 회수를 비교한 실험에서 기존의 방법보다 제안한 방법의 클러스터 참조 회수가 적게 나타났다.

Total quality management has been a focus of concern in recent years since some dissatisfaction with the results from implementation of quality assurance programs in the U.S. Many managerial methodologies and innovation guidelines from academic disciplines have been applied to promote TQM programs in the health field. This paper consists of two folds of aspects: firstly to examine TQM's managerial philosophy by comparing with the newly introduced managerial concepts in Business Reengineering; and then to introduce a method for an integrative way of process analysis, Entity Life-Cycle Diagram (ELCD) modeling. The analysis method was compared with Process Map, which is a well-known method for BR applications. To show effectiveness of ELCD modeling, a case of application was introduced using 'drug' as a target entity. With having TQM issues in mind, the result was reflected in designing Entity Relation Diagrams. The results of ELCD modeling turn out to be helpful in designing database related to quality monitoring, in that many monitoring check points can be identified in a systematic way and that queries cross-sectional over organizational boundaries can be generated with a consistent view focusing on the drug use as a single process. Full evaluation of the analysis method remains to be studied until the completion of the information system under construction. But as long as TQM is based on a process-oriented view and needs supports from information system, ELCD can be one of the appropriate choice as a tool for the process analysis.
