The purpose of this study was to assess gender differences in the quantity and quality of leisure time. It uses time diary for a nationally representative sample of Koreans(10 years old over) collected in 2004 by KNSO. This time use surveys provide information about a primary activity and a secondary activity (that is simultaneous activity accompanying the primary activity). The results was that married women experience less of leisure time and more contaminated leisure time by a secondary activity(especially household labor) than married men. This research presents that men and women have different quantity and quality of leisure time, and gender discrepancies persist in the experience of leisure time.

The Korean National curriculum is divided into the curriculum, discretion, and extra curriculum activity. Extra curriculum among them consists of fie grounds, that is, a self-governing, adjusting, developing, service and exercise activity. The content of developing activity among them includes academic literary arts, in that the developing activity related to science. The developing activity connected with science can be a good chance which students can have deepened learning besides a regular course. In addition, effective management in science class can play an important role to cultivate scientific sense and to raise scientific talent. The study finds out how the management connected with science-related extra-curricula activity in science is actually going on. The study carries out a questionnaire with 40 teachers and interviews 5 teachers as well who are in charge of science-related extra-curricula activity connected with science. As a result, on the side of students, ① systematic introduction course in science is not given to them, ② the course is operating without considering students interests and levels, so it causes the problems of developing their potential ability and extension. On the side of teachers, ① they organize the science department based on school's situation and policy. ② they disregard teachers' roles and interests. ③ the science department's program is operating improvisedly rather than systematically, ④ the evaluation is done formally is found out. I have come to know that to manage a desirable science-related extra-curricula activity connected with science needs to have sufficient, detailed materials and experts from outside.

Though Quality Management(QM) is key determinant for corporate success as shown in Jappanese cases, however, its performance wasn't translated into the context of profitability, which is a good managerial means. Meanwhile the quality cost theory is a different attempt to measure the quality management performance with a financial scale, which doesnot have a reasonable measure. This study suggests a new approach to measure the performance of quality management using ABC(Activity-based Costing), and explains its usefulness with a case study.

The main purpose of this study is to develop a framework of knowledge management and knowledge management systems(KMS) for retail firms. The framework of knowledge management developed in this paper is based on six components: knowledge worker, KMS, leadership of CEO, knowledge management strategy, culture, evaluation and reward systems. The knowledge management process can be divided into four stages: preparation stage, initiation stage, expansion stage and completion stage. The major activities performed to implement effective knowledge management are also identified for each stage. The knowledge base of KMS for retail firms should store three types of knowledge: knowledge for management activity, knowledge for management activity, knowledge for strategic analysis, and knowledge for problem solving. Finally, the technical characteristics of KMS are also examined in terms of information technology.

This study was conducted to examine the effect of body image of university students participating in physical activity on appearance management behavior. Using stratified cluster random sampling, a total of 298 male students, 109 male and 189 female students were sampled. The results are as follow. First, male students showed high in appearance, physical strength, health factors and appearance improvement type, and female students showed high appearance management and interpersonal relationship type. It was found that the arts and physical education department had an effect on the body image and appearance management behavior of university students with a lot of pocket money in terms of appearance and physical strength. Second, Body image was found to affect appearance management behavior. Appeared to be the body image of university students through physical activity affects the appearance management behavior, and these behaviors will have a positive relationship to lead a happy daily life in the future.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the role of government in innovation. That is, how much should government invest in R&D activity for social welfare enhancement. An optimal control problem is proposed to answer the above question. Because of difficulties in solving the problem, simulation utilized to find an approximate solution. All results obtained from the simulation are very similar. The investment in R&D activity increases and reaches its maximum and then decreases continuously. If the importance of technology grows the investment in R&D activity should be expanded.

본 연구에서는 ABC(Activity-Based Costing),활동기준원가를 설명하고, 한 업체를 대상으로 Cost structure를 파악하여,$Z_{abc}$ (ABC=based objective function value)를 최대화 하는 값을 찾아 이익을 최대화 시켜 기업가치를 향상시키고자 모형을 설계한다. 이를 위해 변수를 결정하고, 제약을 설정하게 된다. 이를 통해 수학적 모형을 완성 시뮬레이션을 통한 이익을 최대화 시키는 활동원가의 활동들을 규명한다.

The purpose of this study is to promote understanding of physical activity and metabolic syndrome in middle-aged adults and to provide basic data of interventions development for the prevention and management of metabolic syndrome. Using the 2020 data for Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, 1,786 middle-aged adults between the ages of 40 and 64 with no missing data were analyzed. As a result of the study, 56.5(±2.1)% of men and 52.9(±1.81)% of women were sufficient activity group among physical activity, and the proportion of men was higher than that of women, but it was not statistically significant(t=1.27, p=.207). The prevalence of metabolic syndrome was 38.9(±2.1%) of men and 25.4(±1.5)% of women, the prevalence of men was significantly higher than that of women(t=5.12, p<.001). Compared to the insufficient activity group, the sufficient activity group had a 0.71(95% CI: 0.57~0.88) times the risk of developing low HDL(high density lipoprotein)- cholesterol(p=.002), and this pattern was maintained even after adjusting for age, education level, body mass index, smoking status, and drinking status(p=.002). Based on the results of this study, a physical activity and metabolic syndrome risk group in middle-aged adults should be selected, and physical activity promotion program to improve high density lipoprotein-cholesterol among metabolic syndrome indicators should be developed.
