To ensure that equipment outages do not directly impact the reliability of the ISO-controlled grid, market participants request permission and receive approval for planned outages from the independent system operator (ISO) in competitive electricity markets. In the face of major generation outages, the ISO will make a critical decision as regards the scheduling of the essential maintenance for myriads of generating units over a fixed planning horizon in accordance with security and adequacy assessments. Mainly, we are concerned with a fundamental framework for ISO's maintenance coordination in order to determine precedence of conflicting outages. Simulated annealing, a powerful, general-purpose optimization methodology suitable for real combinatorial search problems, is used. Generally, the ISO will put forward its best effort to adjust individual generator maintenance schedules according to the time preferences of each power generator (GENCO) by taking advantage of several factors such as installed capacity and relative weightings assigned to the GENCOs. Thus, computer testing on a four-GENCO model is conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method and the applicability of the solution scheme to large-scale maintenance scheduling coordination problems.

The manager of manufacturing industry just not to have known what to do related to the law of product liability(PL) that was put into operation in July 1, 2002. The law of PL is a public law about defective product, which was established in order to compensate consumer's damages of property and body caused by product, to make sound society by the safety products and to take international competitiveness. But the existing civil law has been having clause that compensation to be taken is limited. The law of PL is resolving this limitations and is characterized by the easy relief from damages of defective product. The decision in the case of Green-man has been a precedent since the court sentenced the manufacturer to liability. The law of PL has been in force in 27 countries, including all of the EU countries, Japan, Philippines and China. It has been shown that the corporations which meet the Global Standard, could survive in global competition. The economic effects by the law of PL are the increase of consumers relief production cost by the lawsuits. This paper will recommend more biref method that is able to cover PSMS by use of QMS. It will make domestic corporation improve in the plan, manufacture and sale of products to meet the Global Standard.

When an insurance company receives an application for life or health insurance, the company must evaluate the degree of risk the individual for insurance coverage presents before the company agrees to issue the policy. A medical factor is a physical or psychological characteristic that may increases a hazard. A financial factor is financial information that is taken into account by underwriter to determine if a person is applying for more than he/she reasonably needs or can afford. A personal factor is a lifestyle choice. There are several medical risk selection systems in Korean life insurance market. They are attending physician's statement, direct examination by insurance doctors, and paramedic examination. However there is some dissatisfaction of current system. It is possible that cooperation of part-time insurance doctors system may be one of useful system of medical risk selection. Improvement of medical risk selection system will be an important matter of profitability of insurance company and it will contribute to sound life insurance system.

Due to a typhoon named MAEMI on Sep12, 2004, 7 transmission towers collapsed and 3 were damaged in the Gyeongnam and Busan areas. These caused long-term black-outs in Goeje-do. When a transmission tower collapses or is damaged, Construction will take more than 2 months and this will be accompanied by long-term black-outs. Therefore a temporary iron pole is used in such emergencies. Current temporary rehabilitation angle steel iron Pole consistes of around 800 members, 2,800 bolts and it takes about 5 days to construct a temporary transmission line. Consiquently wide black-outs occur during the construction of the temporary transmission line. To reduce black-out time, the construction period must be reduced as much as possible. This paper presents new methods to reduce temporary transmission line construction time to within 48 hours by applying a self-reliance assembling method instead of the current man power assembling method and by modulizing each angle steel with duralumin.

One of the causes of malfunction of commercial vehicle is corrosion or wear. In order to prevent corrosion and wear, lubricants have to be supplied periodically. However, the period of lubrication usually depends on operator's judgment. If the period is too short, excess lubricant will cause pollution and unnecessary expenses, where as long periodic supply of lubricant might cause wear, damage and eventual breakdown. Therefore, an automatic lubrication system with predetermined interval will reduce the excessive supply of lubricating oil and prevent wear and damage. This thesis presents an automatic lubrication system which consists of a lubricant pump and an embedded controller. An automatic lubrication operating algorithm is used to operate the lubricant pump and feedback the pressure status of the system using pressure sensors. The developed system shows an efficient periodic supply of lubricant.

The design, procurement and fabrication of FPSO project ordered by Inpex Browse, Ltd. have been currently carried out by DSME(Daewoo Shipbuilding Marine and Engineering Co.). The unit will be installed and operated in the Ichthys field offshore of North-Western Australia and there are the particular design requirements to do with performance on the environment loads corresponding to max. 10,000 years return period wave. Also, the operational life of FPSO has to be over 40 years. With this background, this paper introduces the structural design procedure of crane pedestal foundation operated in north-western Australia offshore. The design of crane pedestal foundation structure is basically based on international design code (i.e. API Spec. 2C), Classification society's rule and project specifications. The design load cases are mainly divided into the crane normal operating conditions and crane stowed conditions according to environment conditions of the offshore with 1-year, 5-year, 10-year, 200-year and 10,000-year return period wave. This design experience for crane pedestal foundation operated in north-western Australia offshore will be useful to do engineering of other offshore crane structures.

Objective: The purpose of this study is to develop a child-care support policy strategy in response to the decrease in the population of children aged 0-5 years. This will be achieved by collecting opinions from a panel of experts on child-care support policies through a Delphi survey. Methods: To achieve the purpose of this study, a panel of 20 experts in child-care policy was selected, and a Delphi survey was conducted over three sessions. Data collected through the Delphi survey underwent analysis, including frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, content validity ratio, coefficient of variation, agreement, and convergence. Data processing was carried out using Excel 2016 and SPSS 26.0. Results: As a result of the study, a child-care support policy strategy addressing the decrease in the population of children aged 0-5 years was developed, comprising three policy areas, nine policy tasks, and 38 detailed policy tasks. Conclusion/Implications: Based on these results, it is anticipated that the study will not only enable the preparation of a strategy for child-care support policy to address the decrease in the population of children aged 0-5 years but also offer significant implications for shaping the direction of child-care support policy in alignment with the common good.

The first impression of people plays a crucial role in deciding personal image. Except for the eyes, the V zone of a suit attracts people's attention most. Therefore, a necktie has an instant and strong influence in delivering the image of a man. This research divided images of men into several factors based on necktie that plays an important role in expressing men's images. Futhermore, this research inquired into characteristics of necktie designs that can express men's images. And this research presented visually through surveys. As a result, men's images were divided into six factors of uniqueness, sociality, generosity, notability, activeness & vitality and reliability with two axes of attractiveness and capability. Afterwards, the characteristic of necktie designs suitable for each image was presented. Furthermore, the characteristic of necktie designs suitable for jobs classification was presented by relating each image to six job classifications. Applying these facts into necktie sales, consumers will be able to choose their neckties that can express proper images according to their tastes, situations and jobs. Furthermore, consumers will be able to establish better image for themselves.

The source of a business competition is man and the core of a business success depends on people's ability, efforts and cooperation. Therefore, modern managers are making varied efforts to perform the ethical management for the organization immersion and job satisfaction of the employees. The managers of the financial agencies including the enterprises competing in the global market, face numerous ethical issues and problems. Considering the reality that financial institutions are actively asked to perform the responsibility and duties sincerely, the tasks how the head of financial agency will accept the social study of the level of ethics and change the level of recognition, and how he will settle it as the natural feature in the institution, become an important management target. In addition, it is necessary to figure out how the ethical management of the head of the financial agency will affect the organizational immersion of the employees. Based on the objective of this study, we attempted to confirm how the ethical management will of the head of the financial institution would affect the organizational immersion, the employees' mental result variables. Through this study, it became necessary for the directors of the financial institutions to search for the methods to improve the system of management and enhance the observance will of the business ethics so that they may not cause the disposition of the violation of the business ethics owing to the enforcement to achieve the target of the results of the business or the error recognition of the norm. Further, the heads of banks will have to set a management policy focused on the democratic management and the ethical justice based on the participating methods to induce the cooperative commitment of the stock company employees not to be shifted from the globalization and the competitive society.

There are increasing customer's needs for safe operation and comfort of trains for the passengers as trains are getting fast and developed with advanced components. To meet the needs we developed the system which is able to prevent possible risk elements by transverse vibrations during the train operation. System records the amplitude data of trains vibration and location data from GPS antenna in real time. The system is composed of 5 different functioning modules as following GCPU, GGWD, GIFD, GAID and GPSD. GAID module is detecting amplitude value of vibration which is sensed by bogie hunting sensor's. GFID gets location information where vibration data is detected with GPS Antenna. Once those data is prepared, GCPU testify it's amplitude and decides whether it send those data. When it sends those recorded data, those data are sent to control unit by MVB communication. we expect that this information will help operation and maintenance engineers improve the safety train services. This paper explains train transverse Vibrations data recording system and its major functions which can measure the amplitude of trains's data during the operation and introduces the configuration for the system setup.
