This study aims to investigate makeup images shown in the beauty trends and analyzes the characteristics of makeup colors depending on the types of facial makeup. This survey's collected data includes a total of 365 makeup colors which have been shown in the beauty trends for the last three years. The pictures and vocabularies shown in such data were analyzed and thus we could have classificatorily six kinds of makeup images. In addition, makeup colors were divided into two subcategories: eye makeup and lip makeup, both of which have the most significant impact on the makeup images. As the results, the types of makeup images shown at beauty trends were classified such as natural image, gorgeous image, elegant image, sophisticate image, and romantic image. If analyzing yearly changes, active, romantic, and elegant images were common in 2008, and natural image displayed a certain strong tendency amid pro-environmental trends in 2009, and gorgeous images were appeared apparently in 2010, while natural image showed a bullish tendency yet. Regarding to color characteristics by makeup images shown at beauty trends, YR color in eye makeup and R in lip makeup looked bullish generally, and a lot of changes were shown in color tones. This fact gives help in grasping fashion colors and color tones of yearly makeups. Based on these results, this study examines makeup colors for expressing makeup images closely, and then suggests that it could be utilized in makeup color planning.

Photoconductive target was fabricated to make vidicon available. In order for a vidicon to operate well, it is essential that the target have high photosensitivity, low image lag, and high resolution. In the vidicon mode analysis, photosensitivity of 0.8, image lag of 30%, resolution of 300 TV lines, and the S/N ratio of 30 dB at 10 lux illumination were measured.

The purpose of this study is to know on the changes characteristics of eye brow forms of the wester women. A facial image which people recognize contents on changes of image according to various eye brow changes on the face. Various changes of image were seen by length, angle and thickness of eye brow types. The ancient Egyptians used antimony powder to blacken their brows huge black lines. In medieval times, women shaved both their eye brows and their hairlines to give a pure look. The early nineteenth century, brows were untweezed and natural. In the 1920s, when women started paying attention to their faces and their freedom, brows were tweezed, narrowed. In the 1930s, the idealized faces of Jean Harlow, Marlene Dietrich and Greta Garbo - narrow tracery of drawn on brows. The eyebrows is filled various shape of the 1950s. In the 1970s, the Disco Decade of Dreadful tastes, women were at their tweezers again, manicuring their brows. Brooke Shields's natural-looking brow would be an example of the 1980s. In the 1990s, the eyebrow designed by superstar makeup artists who determined the look of fashion model and screen star.

A neural fuzzy control strategy, developed in order to make a Mobile Vehicle(MV) run along with the traffic guidelines on the road, is presented. A neurocomputer is used in the control procedure and it learnt the driving knowledge to control the MV's actions. The image information of the guidelines is provided by a CCD camera on the top of the MV. The MV utilize the image information to identify the shape of the road and to decide the position of itself, and control the running actions. A fuzzy controller works on-line. Both of the neural controller and the fuzzy controller make up each other. This control method solve the problem of mechanical and electrical inertia and make the Mobile Vehicle run rapidly and smoothly.

Korean textile industry is faced a turning point, And the culture of a country itself is getting a main competetive items. Therefore, this study is focused upon developing fashion items of Korean image. For this study purpose, I carried out literature review and questionnaires were surveyed with 129 women, to see how Korean women interested in costume are conscious of Korean image and the way to develop Korean image fashion items. The study results are as follows. 1. To Koreans, the elements of Korean image were Hanbok(Korean traditional cloths) and Saeckdong(traditional multi-coloured stripes), but to foreigners they were national image. 2. To develop competetive fashion items of Korean image, I recommend as follows. - set up a typical key-word of Korean image - promote top designer - globalization of Hanbok - take advantage of 2002 Wold Cup - bring Korean image fashion into vogue to the younger from domestic to abroad - make Korean image into universal fashion - start with accessories, hats, bags, scarves

오늘날 사회의 제반현상들은 각 분야별로 각각의 트렌드가 있으나 복식의 변화와 관련된 패션 트렌드가 모든 트렌드를 주도적으로 이끌어가고 있다. 패션 컬렉션은 패션 트렌드와 관련하여 전반적인 경향과 특성을 살펴볼 수 있는데 파리, 밀라노, 뉴욕, 런던 컬렉션은 세계 4대 컬렉션으로 불리며 최신 유행을 창출하고 있다. 이러한 트렌드를 가장 빠르게 전해주는 패션 디자이너들의 컬렉션은 의상과 더불어 메이크업과 헤어, 액세서리 등의 전반적인 요소들을 보여준다. 패션 컬렉션에서 연출되는 메이크업은 디자인이나 색채뿐만 아닌 발상 자체에서부터 다양한 이미지가 시도되는 자리로 이를 중심으로 매 시즌의 새로운 메이크업 트렌드가 완성된다. 따라서 본 연구는 2008${\sim}$2009 F/W 패션 컬렉션의 메이크업 경향을 분석하고, 분석된 메이크업 경향이 각 화장품 브랜드의 새로운 트렌드에 미친 영향을 알아보고자 한다.

This study's purpose is how express gender image according to sex in editorial fashion photography. This study's objectives are the women's magazine Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and man's magazine GQ, Esquire published 2000-2005 within the country. The photography was classified with established a standard based on the precede studies. The photo is classified Gender image according to dress and its ornaments, model character and atmosphere by Sex Expression of femininity woman has exposure of body parts and emphasizing thin eyebrows and red lips, soft and mild image, modest and static pose. Man expressed femininity used ladylike color and pattern, erotic exposure of body and long hair style. Commonly emphasizing red lips, natural background of flower plant, S-line. For expression of masculinity man and woman are used masculinity item, short hair-style and thick eyebrows. And also emphasize square like chin and shoulder. Specially, woman used direct silhouette to conceal soft body curved line. The expressions of androgynous woman and man are colorful dress and make-up. Woman emphasized male face to show and man expressed soft image through hull of abundant material of fur. All two sex selected method that conceal body curved line and face to express sexless. Hiding characteristics of body and face make indistinct of sex. The gender is affected by atmosphere such as model and illumination background as much as clothes because of the editorial fashion photography.

Processing techniques of remote sensed image data using computer have been recognized very necessary techniques to all social fields, such as, environmental observation, land cultivation, resource investigation, military trend grasp and agricultural product estimation, etc. Especially, accurate classification and analysis to remote sensed image da are important elements that can determine reliability of remote sensed image data processing systems, and many researches have been processed to improve these accuracy of classification and analysis. Traditionally, remote sensed image data processing systems have been processed 2 or 3 selected bands in multiple bands, in this time, their selection criterions are statistical separability or wavelength properties. But, it have be bring up the necessity of bands selection method by data distribution characteristics than traditional bands selection by wavelength properties or statistical separability. Because data sensing environments change from multispectral environments to hyperspectral environments. In this paper for efficient data classification in multispectral bands environment, a band feature extraction method using the Rough sets theory is proposed. First, we make a look up table from training data, and analyze the properties of experimental multispectral image data, then select the efficient band using indiscernibility relation of Rough set theory from analysis results. Proposed method is applied to LANDSAT TM data on 2 June 1992. From this, we show clustering trends that similar to traditional band selection results by wavelength properties, from this, we verify that can use the proposed method that centered on data properties to select the efficient bands, though data sensing environment change to hyperspectral band environments.

An autonomous stair robot recognizing the stair, and climbing up and down the stair by utilizing a robot vision, photo sensors, and appropriate climbing algorithm is introduced. Four arms associated with four wheels make the robot climb up and down more safely and faster than a simple track typed robot. The robot can adjust wheel base according to the stair width, hence it can adopt to a variable width stair with different algorithms in climbing up and down. The command and image data acquired from the robot are transferred to the main computer through RF wireless modules, and the data are delivered to a remote computer via a network communication through a proper data compression, thus, the real time image monitoring is implemented effectively.
