영국에서의 과학-기술-사회 교육의 태동과 발전 과정 (II) - 20세기 후반을 중심으로 - (The Process of the Quickening and Development of Science-Technology- Society Education in the United Kingdom (II) - During the 2nd Half of the 20th Century -)

  • 19세기초반부터 20세기 중반까지의 시기를 다루었던 이전 논문에 이어서, 본 논문에서는 20세기 후반기 동안 STS 관련 아이디어들이 영국의 과학교육에서 어떻게 역사적으로 발전해 왔는가를 살펴보았다. 미국에서와 마찬가지로, 1950-60년에는 영국에서도 Nuffield 프로젝트와 같은 많은 수의 학문중심 과학 교육 프로그램들이 등장하였다. 하지만, 1970년대에 들어서면서 이에 대한 비판들이 점차 제기되었고 당시의 경향을 수정하고자 하였던 주목할만한 시도들이 이루어졌다. 예컨대, SCISP는, 비록 그것의 주된 관심이 통합과학적 접근을 도입하고자 하는 것이었지만, 과학과 사회 사이의 관련성이 갖는 중요성을 보여주는 성공적인 계기가 되었다. 이어서, Science in Society와 SISCON-in-Schools와 같은 진정한 STS 프로그램을 위한 보다 야심찬 시도들이 이루어졌다. 이 두 프로젝트는 시기적으로 거의 동시에 개발되었으며 교과서가 아닌 모듈의 형태로 개발되었다. 하지만, Science in Society는 과학의 응용과 산업적 측면에 보다 관심을 집중시켰던 반면, SISCON-in-Schools는 과학의 역사적, 철학적, 사회적 측면들에 보다 많은 관심을 쏟았다. 1980년대에는 보다 큰 규모의 STS 프로그램을 개발하고자 하였던 훨씬 더 야심적인 시도들이 이루어졌는데, 그 대표적인 예가 Salters' 프로젝트와 SATIS였다. 이 두 가지의 프로그램들은 모두 ASE의 적극적인 협조 아래에 개발되었으며, 곧 전세계에서 대표적으로 인정받는 STS적 접근의 예가 되었다. 이 두 프로그램은 많은 유사점에도 불구하고, Salters'는 보다 적용-중심 및 과목-중심의 교과서 형태이었던 반면, SATIS는 보다 사회적 쟁점-중심의 모듈 형태의 것이었다. 한편, 학교 과학교육에서의 STS적 접근의 역사에 대한 본 연구는 각 STS 프로그램들이 상이한 사회적 배경 하에서 개발되었고 학교 과학교육의 목표에 대한 상이한 관점을 지닌 사람들에 의해 주도되었으며 또한 STS적 접근이 20세기 마지막 시기에만 나타난 독특한 특징은 아니었음을 보여준다. 마지막으로 지난 20세기 동안 영국에서 개발되었던 대표적인 STS 프로그램들에 대한 배경정보에 상대적인 특징의 비교를 정리하였으며 연구의 일반적인 결론과 그 시사점에 대해 논의하였다.

항공사업법 제61조의2 신설과 항공소비자 보호 법리 -미국의 "Tarmac delay rule"과 비교를 중심으로- (Article 61bis of the Aviation Business Act and the Legal Principles for the Aviation Consumers Protection - Comparison with the U.S. "Tarmac Delay Rule" -)

  • 항공운송이 증대되면서 항공지연이 발생할 수 밖에 없고 그로 인해 항공소비자들의 피해도 확대되고 있다. 우리나라는 국토교통부 고시로 항공교통이용자 보호기준을 마련하고 항공소비자의 보호를 꾀하고 있지만, 항공지연에 대한 사항은 포함되어 있지 않았다. 다만 이 기준에서는 이동지역지연(타막 딜레이)에 대한 사항만을 규정해놓았는데, 이 기준은 고시에 불과했다. 법률의 위임을 받은 행정규칙이나 강제성 있는 법률이 아니라는 것이다. 그런데 타막 딜레이 관한 내용이 항공사업법 제61조의2[이동지역에서 지연 금지 등]로 신설되어, 2020년 5월27일부터 시행됨에 따라 이동지역내에서 항공운송사업자의 지연이 강제성을 가진 규제대상이 되었다. 이에 본 논문에서는 이 규정의 시행 이전에 항공지연과 관련한 항공소비자들의 보호에 있어서 재판을 통한 민사적 해결방법이 어떻게 이루어졌는지 고찰하였다. 또한 항공소비자의 보호법리가 공법적 차원에서 소비자보호권이 헌법상 기본권이 되는지에 관한 사항과 국가기관이 소비자보호의 주체가 되어야 하는지에 관해 연구하였다. 이를 위해 미국의 Tarmac Delay Rule과 비교하며 연방행정규칙으로 작용하는 Tarmac Delay Rule의 시행효과와 강제집행조치들의 내용을 살펴보았다. 이어 Biscone 사건을 통해 미국법원의 Tarmac Delay에 대한 승객의 손해배상청구소송이 인정되기 쉽지 않음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 법원은 연방규칙상 Tarmac Delay Ruel에 따라 항공사를 제재하면 된다고 보았다. 우리나라와 미국 모두 재판을 통해 지연으로 인한 항공소비자의 손해를 구제하는 데에 한계가 있음을 파악하고, 우리나라가 새롭게 시행하는 [이동지역에서 지연금지]규정의 실효성 확보를 위해 벌칙 규정의 강화 및 나아가 항공소비자보호를 위해 항공사업법 시행규칙에 항공교통이용자보호 규정을 신설이 필요함을 제안하였다.

초등학교 학생들의 생활 속 과학단위 인식과 이해 (Elementary Schooler's Recognition and Understanding of the Scientific Units in Daily Life)

  • 이 연구는 초등학교의 과학교과서, 과학관련 교과 및 실생활 관련 교과에 나오는 과학 단위를 분석하고, 초등학교 6학년 학생들의 생활 속에서 사용하고 있는 과학단위들의 인식과 이해정도를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 320명의 초등학교 6학년 학생이며 설문의 내용은 생활 속에서 흔히 볼 수 있는 질량(kg), 거리(km), 부피(L), 전압(V), 시간(s), 온도($^{\circ}C$), 속력(km/h), 열량(kcal), 퍼센트(%), 전력(W), 산도(pH) 등 11개의 과학단위에 대한 이해와 인식정도를 알아보고 생활 속에서 과학단위를 찾고 배울 수 있는 장소에 관해 알아보고자 하였다. 통계처리 프로그램인 SPSS 17.0을 사용하여 응답별 빈도와 백분율을 산출하였다. 결과는 다음과 같이 요약 할 수 있다. 타 교과와의 단위비교에서는 대체적으로 학년에 따라 비슷하게 단위가 중복되었으며 학년이 올라갈수록 단위의 수준이 높아지고 또한 과목의 특성에 맞는 단위도 확인하였다. 단위의 용도를 묻는 질문에서는 kg, km, L, $^{\circ}C$, kcal, km/h, W 단위 등은 91% 이상으로 잘 알고 있었다. 전압(V)과 시간(s)은 다른 단위보다 정답률이 낮았다. 특히 전문성이 있는 %, pH단위는 잘 이해하지 못하였다. 그리고 단위의 인식을 묻는 질문에서는 예외로 액체의 부피(L)와 산-염기에 쓰이는 단위인 산도(pH) 단위를 제외하고는 대부분단위들은 90%이상으로 잘 이해하고 있었다. 생활 속 과학단위 찾기 활동으로 가장 적합한 장소 및 가장 많이 습득한 곳은 학교>상점/마트>신문/방송>거리/도로>가정> 기타 순서로 동일하게 나왔다. 이러한 결과는 학교에서 단위학습이 체계적으로 이루어져야 하고 또한 교사의 역할이 중요함을 알 수 있다. 따라서 위의 연구결과를 볼 때 생활 속 과학단위는 쉽게 장소에 따라 각각 과학단위 찾기가 가능하며 어디서나 과학단위 학습에 큰 효과가 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 그러므로 학생들이 과학단위를 보다 정확하게 이해하기 위해서는 교사가 적극적으로 과학단위를 정확하게 가르칠 필요가 있다. 그리고 초등학생이 알아야하는 과학단위이거나 어렵다고 생각되는 과학단위는 부록이나 NIE 활용 등을 통해서 과학교과서에 제시하거나 교사의 설명을 덧붙인다면 초등학생들의 과학단위를 보다 정확하고 바르게 이해하고 실생활에 활용과 수업에 큰 도움이되리라 생각된다.

2010년부터 2015년까지 국내 과학영재교육의 연구동향 분석 : 문헌분석 대 사회네트워크분석 (Research Trends in Science Gifted Education from 2011 to 2015: Literature Analysis vs Social Network Analysis)

  • 본 연구는 2010년부터 2015년까지 6년간 과학영재교육의 연구동향을 분석하는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 과학교육 및 영재교육 전문학술지 8종에 게재된 과학영재교육 관련 연구논문 총275편에 대해 문헌분석과 사회네트워크분석(Social Network Analysis: SNA)의 연구방법을 동시에 활용하여 연구동향을 분석하였다. 문헌분석에서는 분석틀로 연구주제, 연구대상, 연구방법의 분류범주를 설정하였으며, SNA방법에서는 논문별 제시된 영문 저자 키워드를 활용하여 연구동향을 분석하였다. 첫째, 문헌분석으로 분석한 결과, 연구주제는 인지적 특성(25.8%), 교육과정/프로그램(22.6%), 사회․정서적 특성(20.2%)의 연구가 많이 이루어지는 것으로 나타났으며, 연구방법에서는 조사연구(46.5%), 실험연구(18.8%), 프로그램 개발(10.6%), 상관연구(10.3%), 질적연구(6.4%)의 순으로 나타났다. 연구대상에서는 중학생 대상연구(33.7%)가 가장 많았고, 초등학생(30.6%), 고등학생(12.7%) 순으로 조사되었다. 둘째, SNA방법으로 분석한 결과, 과학영재교육 연구에서는 science gifted, gifted education, creativity의 3개 키워드를 중심으로 하는 네트워크가 형성되어 있었으며, 가장 빈번히 활용된 키워드는 science gifted, gifted education, gifted, creativity, science inquiry, perception, (creative) problem solving, science high school, scientific attitude, STEAM 으로 조사되었다. 셋째, 주제-키워드 이원모드(2-mode) 네트워크를 분석한 결과, 인지적 특성에 대한 연구는 인식, 사고양식, 과학적 논쟁, 과학탐구 등에 대한 연구가 많이 나타났다. 사회.정서적 특성에 대한 연구는 상관연구, 동기, 창의인성, 자기 효능감 등에 대한 연구가 주로 이루어지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. SNA방법은 연구내용을 구체적으로 분석, 제시함으로써 연구동향을 심층적으로 이해하고 해석할 수 있는 것으로 고찰되었다.

개원의의 진료과목표방 및 진료환자 구성 (Displayed Subjects of Practice and Case-Mix of Private Practitioners in Taegu City)

  • To survey the specialties or sujects of practice displayed by the private practitioners the authors visited 691 clinics in Taegu from April 1 to May 18, 1991, At the same time, a mail questionnaire was administered to ask the number of displayed subjects of practice, and the reasons for displaying the subjects, reasons for not displaying in case of no specialty was displayed, composition of patients, and role as a specialist. The questionnaire was returned by 308(44.6%) practitioners. The distributions of private practitioners by specialty were 13.9% for internal medicine (IM), 11.7% for pediatrics(Ped), 13.0% for obstetrics '||'&'||' gynecology(OBGY), 11.1% for general surgery(GS), 10.0% for family practice(FP), and 5.3% for general practitioner(GP). Ninety percent of the specialists have displayed their specialty in their offices. Among all the private practitioners, 61.9% of them have displayed their subjects of practice and 23.7% have shown telephone number. Among private practitioners who displayed the subjects of practice, 80.6% have signs of 'subjects of practice'. Mean number of the displayed subjects of practice for the all private practitioners is 1.20, and 1.93 for the private practitioners who displayed subjects of practice. FP and GS have displayed their subjects of practice in 91.2% and 87.0% respectively and OBGY have displayed in 32.2%, the lowest percentage among all the soecuaktues. IM specialists displays pediatrics as a major subject of practice in 72.1% the pediatricians display IM in 88.9% the OBGYs display pediatrics in 77.8%, and the GSs display IM in 51.9%. Most commonly displayed subjects of practice are Ped and IM. Sixty-five percent of the private practitioners answered that they don't display their specialties because their clinics are "primary health care facility". The reasons for displaying the subjects of practice and its relevance with their own specialty(45.6%), and the difficulty in clinic management only with the patients for their own specialty(36.9%). The proportion of clinics whose patients of other specialty are than their own specialty accounted less than 10% was 52.8% and that accounted more than 51% was 16.0%. Specially, 51.4% of GS specialists cared more than 51% of patients of other specialty area than their own specialty. Most of the patients of IM, Ped, and OBGY specialists are the patients of their own specialty. However, 56.8% of GS care more of IM patients and only 24.3% of them care mostly GS patients, The respondents to the mail questionnaire who stated that they can not play the role of specialist well are 30.5% and especially 72.9% of the GS specialists state so. The proportion of respondents who do not suffort the private practice of specialists is 71.1%. Among the surgical specialists, 82.7% of them rarely perform operation. The reasons for not performing operation are insufficient insurance fee (76.9%), and risk of operation(58.0%), so as the OBGY specialists. Above finidngs suggest that most of the specialists, especially surgeons, in the private practice can not play their role as a specialist. It is necessary to develop a policy that facilitates the production of practice and the retention of the specialists in the hospitals.s.

  • As mobile devices that can be connected to the Internet have spread and networking has become possible whenever/wherever, the Internet has become central in the dissemination and consumption of news. Accordingly, the ways news is gathered, disseminated, and consumed have changed greatly. In the traditional news media such as magazines and newspapers, expert editors determined what events were worthy of deploying their staffs or freelancers to cover and what stories from newswires or other sources would be printed. Furthermore, they determined how these stories would be displayed in their publications in terms of page placement, space allocation, type sizes, photographs, and other graphic elements. In turn, readers-news consumers-judged the importance of news not only by its subject and content, but also through subsidiary information such as its location and how it was displayed. Their judgments reflected their acceptance of an assumption that these expert editors had the knowledge and ability not only to serve as gatekeepers in determining what news was valuable and important but also how to rank its value and importance. As such, news assembled, dispensed, and consumed in this manner can be said to be expert-based recommended news. However, in the era of Internet news, the role of expert editors as gatekeepers has been greatly diminished. Many Internet news sites offer a huge volume of news on diverse topics from many media companies, thereby eliminating in many cases the gatekeeper role of expert editors. One result has been to turn news users from passive receptacles into activists who search for news that reflects their interests or tastes. To solve the problem of an overload of information and enhance the efficiency of news users' searches, Internet news sites have introduced numerous recommendation techniques. Recommendations based on popularity constitute one of the most frequently used of these techniques. This popularity-based approach shows a list of those news items that have been read and shared by many people, based on users' behavior such as clicks, evaluations, and sharing. "most-viewed list," "most-replied list," and "real-time issue" found on news sites belong to this system. Given that collective intelligence serves as the premise of these popularity-based recommendations, popularity-based news recommendations would be considered highly important because stories that have been read and shared by many people are presumably more likely to be better than those preferred by only a few people. However, these recommendations may reflect a popularity bias because stories judged likely to be more popular have been placed where they will be most noticeable. As a result, such stories are more likely to be continuously exposed and included in popularity-based recommended news lists. Popular news stories cannot be said to be necessarily those that are most important to readers. Given that many people use popularity-based recommended news and that the popularity-based recommendation approach greatly affects patterns of news use, a review of whether popularity-based news recommendations actually reflect important news can be said to be an indispensable procedure. Therefore, in this study, popularity-based news recommendations of an Internet news portal was compared with top placements of news in printed newspapers, and news users' judgments of which stories were personally and socially important were analyzed. The study was conducted in two stages. In the first stage, content analyses were used to compare the content of the popularity-based news recommendations of an Internet news site with those of the expert-based news recommendations of printed newspapers. Five days of news stories were collected. "most-viewed list" of the Naver portal site were used as the popularity-based recommendations; the expert-based recommendations were represented by the top pieces of news from five major daily newspapers-the Chosun Ilbo, the JoongAng Ilbo, the Dong-A Daily News, the Hankyoreh Shinmun, and the Kyunghyang Shinmun. In the second stage, along with the news stories collected in the first stage, some Internet news stories and some news stories from printed newspapers that the Internet and the newspapers did not have in common were randomly extracted and used in online questionnaire surveys that asked the importance of these selected news stories. According to our analysis, only 10.81% of the popularity-based news recommendations were similar in content with the expert-based news judgments. Therefore, the content of popularity-based news recommendations appears to be quite different from the content of expert-based recommendations. The differences in importance between these two groups of news stories were analyzed, and the results indicated that whereas the two groups did not differ significantly in their recommendations of stories of personal importance, the expert-based recommendations ranked higher in social importance. This study has importance for theory in its examination of popularity-based news recommendations from the two theoretical viewpoints of collective intelligence and popularity bias and by its use of both qualitative (content analysis) and quantitative methods (questionnaires). It also sheds light on the differences in the role of media channels that fulfill an agenda-setting function and Internet news sites that treat news from the viewpoint of markets.

운영연구(OR)의 도서관응용 -그 몇가지 잠재적응용분야에 대하여- (The Application of Operations Research to Librarianship : Some Research Directions)

  • Operations research has developed rapidly since its origins in World War II. Practitioners of O. R. have contributed to almost every aspect of government and business. More recently, a number of operations researchers have turned their attention to library and information systems, and the author believes that significant research has resulted. It is the purpose of this essay to introduce the library audience to some of these accomplishments, to present some of the author's hypotheses on the subject of library management to which he belives O. R. has great potential, and to suggest some future research directions. Some problem areas in librianship where O. R. may play a part have been discussed and are summarized below. (1) Library location. It is usually necessary to make balance between accessibility and cost In location problems. Many mathematical methods are available for identifying the optimal locations once the balance between these two criteria has been decided. The major difficulties lie in relating cost to size and in taking future change into account when discriminating possible solutions. (2) Planning new facilities. Standard approaches to using mathematical models for simple investment decisions are well established. If the problem is one of choosing the most economical way of achieving a certain objective, one may compare th althenatives by using one of the discounted cash flow techniques. In other situations it may be necessary to use of cost-benefit approach. (3) Allocating library resources. In order to allocate the resources to best advantage the librarian needs to know how the effectiveness of the services he offers depends on the way he puts his resources. The O. R. approach to the problems is to construct a model representing effectiveness as a mathematical function of levels of different inputs(e.g., numbers of people in different jobs, acquisitions of different types, physical resources). (4) Long term planning. Resource allocation problems are generally concerned with up to one and a half years ahead. The longer term certainly offers both greater freedom of action and greater uncertainty. Thus it is difficult to generalize about long term planning problems. In other fields, however, O. R. has made a significant contribution to long range planning and it is likely to have one to make in librarianship as well. (5) Public relations. It is generally accepted that actual and potential users are too ignorant both of the range of library services provided and of how to make use of them. How should services be brought to the attention of potential users? The answer seems to lie in obtaining empirical evidence by controlled experiments in which a group of libraries participated. (6) Acquisition policy. In comparing alternative policies for acquisition of materials one needs to know the implications of each service which depends on the stock. Second is the relative importance to be ascribed to each service for each class of user. By reducing the level of the first, formal models will allow the librarian to concentrate his attention upon the value judgements which will be necessary for the second. (7) Loan policy. The approach to choosing between loan policies is much the same as the previous approach. (8) Manpower planning. For large library systems one should consider constructing models which will permit the skills necessary in the future with predictions of the skills that will be available, so as to allow informed decisions. (9) Management information system for libraries. A great deal of data can be available in libraries as a by-product of all recording activities. It is particularly tempting when procedures are computerized to make summary statistics available as a management information system. The values of information to particular decisions that may have to be taken future is best assessed in terms of a model of the relevant problem. (10) Management gaming. One of the most common uses of a management game is as a means of developing staff's to take decisions. The value of such exercises depends upon the validity of the computerized model. If the model were sufficiently simple to take the form of a mathematical equation, decision-makers would probably able to learn adequately from a graph. More complex situations require simulation models. (11) Diagnostics tools. Libraries are sufficiently complex systems that it would be useful to have available simple means of telling whether performance could be regarded as satisfactory which, if it could not, would also provide pointers to what was wrong. (12) Data banks. It would appear to be worth considering establishing a bank for certain types of data. It certain items on questionnaires were to take a standard form, a greater pool of data would de available for various analysis. (13) Effectiveness measures. The meaning of a library performance measure is not readily interpreted. Each measure must itself be assessed in relation to the corresponding measures for earlier periods of time and a standard measure that may be a corresponding measure in another library, the 'norm', the 'best practice', or user expectations.

중소기업의 성장단계별 지원정책에 관한 탐색적 연구 -충청남도 천안·아산지역을 중심으로- (An Exploratory Study of business support policy by growth phases for Small and medium sized enterprises -Focused on Cheonan and Asan in ChungNam-)

  • 본 연구는 충남(천안 아산)지역 중소기업을 대상으로 성장단계별(창업 성장 확장)기업이 필요로 하는 지원정책을 측정하기 위하여 시도 되었다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 창업단계에서는 자금과 인력, 판로, 기술 그리고 창업 성장 확장단계는 조직 관리를 핵심역할로 인식하였다. 지원정책 관련, 창업단계에서는 자금, 성장단계는 국내마케팅과 인력, 확장단계는 해외마케팅과 연구개발지원을 성장단계별 필요한 지원정책으로 인식하였다. 둘째, 경향방향(방침) 관련, 창업단계는 기존시장진입과 틈새시장진입을 성장단계에서는 시장창출로 인식하였다. 셋째, 핵심인력은 창업단계는 기술과 영업 그리고 경영기획인력, 창업과 확장단계는 마케팅, 확장단계에서는 생산인력을 성장단계별 핵심인력으로 인식하였다. 넷째, 자금은 창업과 성장단계는 기술개발자금, 공장입지확보자금, 인력운영자금, 판로확보자금, 운영자금을 확장단계는 설비투자자금을 성장단계별 필요자금으로 인식하였다. 다섯째, 중점기술 관련, 창업단계는 신제품개발, 기존제품개선, 기존공정개선, 신공정개발, 성장단계는 가공기술, 확장단계에서는 신공정개발을 성장단계별 중점기술로 인식하였다. 여섯째, 판매방식 관련, 창업단계는 대기업납품, 해외시장판매, 공공기관납품, 중소기업납품으로 인식하였다. 일곱째, 창업단계에서는 창업보육지원, 연구개발 지원, 정보교류, 연구개발성과 활용 및 판매지원, 공장설립 입지지원으로 인식하였다. 경영관리와 관련, 성장단계는 교육, 확장단계에서는 시험생산을 지역기관에 요구하는 지원프로그램으로 인식하는 것으로 나타났다.

한방공중보건서비스 만족도와 개선방안 (A Study on Satisfaction level with Herbal Public Health Services and its Improvement Plans)

  • Objective : In order to investigate and improve public Korean medical health service satisfaction level, this study was designed. Method : A questionnaire has been conducted on 212 patients who received treatments at six public health centers in the northern part of Gyeongbuk during 15 days between Sep. 24 and Oct. 8, 2011. Result : 1. An Investigation on the usage of herbal clinics in public health centers reveals that 63.7% have received three times or more medical treatments previously and 61.8% have had their illness treated at other medical institutions. In regard to illness 32.1% have had arthritis or muscle aches. 50.9% have taken insurance medication after having had treatments at the public health centers. 66% have assessed acupuncture and moxa cautery the most satisfying. 2. To a question regarding whether herbal health treatment costs higher than that of physician's, the highest response at 31.6% is 'No'. And to a question regarding whether herbal medicines administered at public health centers have more side effects than that of physician's, the highest response at 39.6% is 'No'. 3. To a question regarding whether herbal treatment of public health centers has little effect against acute disease, 48.1% of responses are 'Fair'. To a question regarding whether herbal treatments, when compared with physician's treatments, boost better recovery of patients, 48.1% of responses are 'Fair'. To a question regarding whether herbal medicine is unscientific, when compared with that of western medicine, 38.2% of responses are 'Fair', To a question regarding whether herbal medicine has faster effect on disease than western medicine, 41.0% of responses are 'Fair'. To a question regarding whether herbal medicine is more effective on disease prevention and promotion of health than disease treatment, 38.2% of responses are 'Fair'. And to a question regarding whether the lack of various types of physical therapy devices in herbal medicine, when compared with western medicine causes inconvenience in herbal treatment, 42.0% of responses are 'Fair'. Those responses take up highest portion at each questionnaire. 4. A comparative study between herbal treatments and physician's treatments has also been conducted. To questions regarding which one of the two considering types of disease is the better, responses are the latter accounted for 43.9% against 'Cancer', the latter accounted for 45.3% against 'Endocrine disorders', the former accounted for 30.7% against 'Psychiatric disorders', the latter accounted for 38.2% gainst 'Otolaryngological(ENT) disease', the former accounted for 47.6% against 'Post traumatic stress disorder', and the former accounted for 52.4% against 'Muscle-skeletal disease'. 5. An investigation on frequency of patients' visits via (p<0.05) of subjects show a statistically significant difference. 6. First, an investigation on frequency of reasons of medical treatments reveal that age, occupation, monthly income, and insurance type (p<0.05) of subjects show a statistically significant difference. Secondly, an investigation on frequency of subjects taking insurance medicines after herbal health treatments reveal that monthly income (p<0.05) of subject shows a statistically significant difference. 7. First, an investigation on frequency of a claim that herbal treatments of public health center does not have great effect on acute disease reveals that age, education, and insurance type (p<0.05) of subjects show a statistically significant difference. Secondly, an investigation on frequency of analysis that herbal treatments has faster effect on disease compared with western treatments reveals that education level, religion, monthly income, and insurance type (p<0.05) of subjects show a statistically significant difference. 8. When herbal clinics of public health centers and general herbal medicine institutions are compared, a survey on additional treatments that herbal clinics need the most reveals that education level, monthly income, and insurance type (p<0.05) of subjects show a statistically significant difference. Secondly, an investigation on frequency of subjects who want various forms of herbal medicines reveals that occupation and insurance type (p<0.05) of subjects show a statistically significant difference. Conclusion : In order to improve efficiency of treatments and enhance patient's satisfaction level, this study suggests measures such as providing a differentiated acupuncture treatments as a whole, streamlining an reception procedure, adopting more elaborated computer system for a patient to get proper medical attention, standardizing a treatment duration in order for a maximum result, keeping regular office hours, and optimizing a consultation time for a patient.

토픽모델링을 활용한 국내 문헌정보학 연구동향 분석 (A Study on the Research Trends in Library & Information Science in Korea using Topic Modeling)

  • 본 연구는 국내 문헌정보학 분야의 연구동향을 규명하기 위하여 문헌정보학 주요 학술지인, 정보관리학회지, 한국문헌정보학회지, 한국도서관 정보학회지, 한국비블리아학회지의 1970년도부터 2012년도까지 발표 논문 초록을 수집하여 LDA(Latent Dirichlet Allocation)기반의 토픽 모델링 실험을 수행하였다. 그 결과를 종합하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 토픽모델링 실험에서 도출된 연구주제를 문헌정보학 주제분류표와 비교 분석한 결과, '정보학'영역의 디지털도서관, 이용연구, 인터넷, 전문가시스템, 계량정보학, 자동화, 정보검색, 정보시스템, '도서관 서비스'영역의 정보서비스, 도서관 유형별 서비스, 이용자 교육/정보리터러시, 서비스 평가, '문헌정보학 기초'영역의 도서관과 사회, 전문성, '자료조직'영역의 분류, 편목, 메타데이터, '도서관 경영'영역의 도서관 평가, 장서개발/관리, '서지학'영역의 고서지, '도서관 체제'영역의 도서관 및 정보정책, '출판'영역의 도서/출판, '기록관리학'영역의 하위주제 등과 연결할 수 있었다. 또한 가장 많은 연구주제가 발견된 학문영역은 정보학과 도서관서비스로 나타났다. 둘째, 문헌정보학의 주요 연구주제에서 도서관 유형별 서비스 및 평가, 인터넷, 메타데이터의 연구주제는 상승세를 보였으나, 도서, 분류, 편목, 고서지에 관한 연구주제는 하강세를 보였다. 셋째, 학술지를 구분하여 비교 분석한 결과, 정보관리학회지는 도서관에 관한 연구주제보다 정보학에 관한 연구주제가 많이 출현하였고, 한국문헌정보학회지와 한국도서관 정보학회지, 한국비블리아학회지는 도서관에 관한 연구주제가 정보학에 관한 주제보다 많이 나타났다.
