To understand the characteristics of organic aerosol(OA) at the background atmosphere of Korea, an observation of atmospheric PM10 was conducted at a Global Atmospheric Watch(GAW) station operated by the Korean Meteorological Administration at Anmyon Island during 2010. Various organic compounds were analyzed from 26 samples by using a gas chromatography-mass spectrometer. Water soluble organic carbon(WSOC) was also analyzed by using a total organic carbon(TOC) analyzer. Among 6 classes with 68 target compounds detected, the classes of n-alkanoic and alkenoic acids ($326.67{\pm}75.40ngm^{-3}$) and dicarboxylic acids ($323.74{\pm}361.89ngm^{-3}$) were found to be major compound classes in the atmosphere of Anmyon Island. Compared to the previous results reported for 2005 spring samples at Gosan site, the concentrations of organic compounds at Anmyon Island were 3-10 times higher than Gosan site due to the difference of location and sampling period. The concentrations of organic compounds were varied with the atmospheric conditions. Significant increase of the concentrations of dicarboxylic and carboxylic acids in the smog episode indicated that secondary oxidation of organic compounds was major factor to increase OA concentration during smog episode in the Anmyon Island. It was found that the compositions of the OA measured at Anmyon Island were dependent on the air parcel trajectories.
The chemistry has the academic system in which a concept is jointly developed into the single strain, so the contents of the chemistry I II of the high school are very important in the connection of the general chemistry in the university. At this moment, it is possible for high school graduates to be accepted into science or engineering majors without taking the chemistry II. These the highest intensive election subject cause problems of differences in level of understanding and difficult of quality educations. In this study, we have analyzed similarity between the contents of the chemistry I II and the general chemistry. We also analyzed the cognition level of students without taking the chemistry II in understanding the general chemistry level classes. We found that the high school level chemistry I and II introduced about 27% and 62% of the essential concepts required for the general chemistry, respectively. In a case of M university in Chonnam, about 70% of students in the general chemistry classes have no exposure to the chemistry II in their high schools, causing difficulty of understanding new subjects due to their insufficient concepts for classes. The lack of knowledge caused lowering of learning achievement and decrease of interests in chemistry.

Recently, as awareness of the need for software education has spread worldwide, the government of Korea has led compulsory software education also. Basic software education in universities has been stabilized through various trials and efforts. However, due to software classes are mandatory, students not only could not have motivation for learning but also have treated programming course as a difficult subject. In this paper, two programming classes, which were designed and managed as a problem-oriented programming class for the purpose of cultivating computational thinking for the non-computer science students, are compared using the lecture assessment results. As a result, in the case of expanding the use of the problem as a grammatical explanation aid and expanding the ratio of major-friendly problems, the student's responses were concentrated on higher scores and the response average improved by about 7%. It means that the level of difficulty experienced by learners is lowered.

In line with the 4th industrial revolution and the innovative changes of the 21st century knowledge and information society, the education field where the 2015 revised curriculum is applied is facing a situation where it is necessary to consider various teaching and learning methods. Among them, interest in instructional design applying flipped learning suitable for future education is growing, but studies on classes using flipped learning in actual music and education are rare. In general music classes currently conducted in the elementary education field, it is insufficient to learn the musical function targeted in the class. Therefore, this study developed and validated an instructional design model for elementary school music and classes that applied flipped learning based on the ADDIE model, which is a systematic instructional design model, using the design and development research methodology. Based on the developed instructional design model, major issues for each stage were presented, and major educational implications in the development process were discussed.

Since Houttuynia cordata is well known as a medicinal herb, due to its antibacterial activity on various microorganisms, present investigation was performed to identify the flavor compounds for volatile essential oil. Volatile essential oil was collected by simultaneous distillation-extraction(SDE), and then the oil components were separated on HP-5 capilliary column$(25m{\times}0.25mm\; i.d.)$ and identified those components by GC-MS. Fifty two compounds were isolated from the volatile essential oil of Houttuynia cordata and forty four were positively identified by GC-MS. The volatile compounds were composed mainly of terpenoids(25 classes), aldehydes(7 classes), alcohols(4 classes), ketones(3 classes), acids(1 class) and miscellaneous compounds(4 classes). Of these, the major compounds were ${\beta}-myrcene$, ${\beta}-ocimene$, decanal, 2-undecanone and geranyl propionate.

This study was accomplished to survey of current situation and management of science education in the special classroom(school) managed by firm. The status of management and the evalution of the scientific inquiry ability were taken on workers attending 17 Special Classes and 9 Special Schools located in Taegu City and Kyungpuk Province. As a responses, most students chose the subject "Science"as an option within their limited 8 units credits. About 88.5% of the students were female. About 78.3% of the classes/schools were conducted in the evening only. About 59.4% of teaching staffs were prevailed with female in these classes, and most of them were young, naive, and unexperienced with their major in chemistry and physics. Insufficient facilities and equipments, crowded classes, understaffed instructors, and inappropriated text materials. etc., were reasons for the students not receiving maximum benefit from these classes and schools. In order to evaluate of scientific inquiry ability, 25 items were constructed and administered to 250 students. The processes of scientific inquiry were classified into 5 categories(category I : establishing a subjects, category II : planning a experiments, category III : conducting a experiments. category IV : interpreting a result of experiments, category V : formulating generalization). As the result obtained from the achivement test analysis, the scores for all the students were significantly low, and the scores for girls were higher than those for boys. The results of test in the selected students showed that inquiry abilities in the category I, II and V were higher than those in category III and IV.
In the database design course, the team project is a very important process to develop students' database design competencies. In order to carry out team projects smoothly, active interaction between students and the professor as well as collaboration among team members are very important. However, a full uncontacted class was suddenly decides in the first semester of 2020, it was questionable whether it would be possible to effectively manage this course, where team projects to construct database take up a big portion. However team projects were able to proceed without major problems through interaction using real-time video media such as zoom, and discussions, quizzes, and Q&A supported by the online education support system (LMS), and online presentations, mutual evaluations, and so on. This paper shares the experience of managing engineering team projects in uncontacted classes and based on three surveys introduces desirable improving directions of this instruction and some suggestions to improve uncontacted classes overall.

Students are always preparing for remote classes while taking face-to-face classes due to COVID-19. However, it is true that the class satisfaction with distance learning is not high for students and teachers. The idea that even if remote classes are conducted at home, it would be nice to have classes together like real ones, the need for a virtual world education program that utilizes augmented reality and virtual reality based on the metaverse has emerged. However, there are very few studies that teachers try to apply them to their classes. In this study, a metaverse application curriculum was presented for elementary science and 'space' domains. To implement the metaverse, ZEPETO and COSPACIS EDU were used. In the analysis of content creation with students and evaluation with schoolmates, this study showed that the concentration of learning was increased and creativity improved in the 'real', 'individual', and 'society' domains.

The purpose of this study is to indicate the direction of the future university classes in the post-COVID era, comparing and analyzing lecture evaluation of pre and post COVID-19. To this end, 4 yeard data were used from 2018 to 2019 for pre COVID-19 and form 2020 to 2021 data for post COVID-19. The results were as follows. In the case of liberal arts, "assignments" was the word with the highest frequency and degree centrality(DC) regardless of pre and post-COVID-19 In the major, "understanding" appeared as the most important word. The result of the ego network analysis indicated that "video lecture" and "non-face-to-face classes" were difficult and "interaction" between the professor and the students was important. As a results, it is important to reduce the weight of assignments and increase interaction with students in liberal arts classes. In the case of majors, it is necessary to operate face-to-face classes rather than non-face-to-face classes, and to organize the contents of videos without difficulty.
COVID-19 has brought major changes to school education. Although it was attempted to guarantee students' right to learn through romote learning, the limitations of remote learning compared to face-to-face classes were clear. Nevertheless, the method of remote learning is undoubtedly a learning method that needs to be continuously developed in terms of being able to consider separated time and space and enabling learners to learn individually and autonomously. Therefore, in this study, real-time romote learning cases were analyzed at the elementary school stage, and problems in real-time remote classes were discovered and improved through teacher interviews. The problems with real-time remote classes in elementary school unit classes examined through examples are: First, that the proportion of teacher activity is high due to the anxiety of the unfamiliar environment of remote classes, and second, even though it is a real-time interactive class, it It was impossible to provide feedback. As a solution to this, it is necessary to consider the basic class steps (introduction-deployment-organization) and the use of class tools to provide appropriate communication and feedback was suggested.
