Vehicle collision to bridges has been known as one of the causes of bridge collapse, and the emergency plans and disaster management has been recently emphasized to secure public safety. This study conducted risk assessment of vehicular collision to bridges for highway bridges in Korea. Risk assessment consists of three steps; preliminary risk analysis(PRA), simplified risk analysis(SRA) and detailed risk analysis(DRA). The PRA firstly screens out the possibility of occurrence of the event. The SRA identifies influencial factors to risk of the event and evaluates risk scores to determine risk levels and necessity of DRA that investigates the risk of the bridge in detail. This study focuses on the methodology of the risk assessment, especially the SRA, and the stratification methods which evaluate risk levels of vehicular collision. The analysis results were compared to the reported vehicular collision accidents. The proposed method can be utilized in similar disaster management area.

In order to improve the implementation of safety and health education at the site for industrial accident prevention activities, research was conducted to minimize inconvenience and increase utilization by redesigning and developing existing education methods. To date, occupational safety and health education has been conducted without considering the general work characteristics and functional facilities (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, chemical) of workers (mechanical: turbine, valve, pump, hydraulic system, electrical: generator, breaker, motor, etc.). In particular, plant facilities were classified as mechanical and electrical facilities to improve the methodology for industrial safety and health education for plant maintenance workers. In addition, the "One Page Education Plan" was announced as a learning case because the spread of COVID-19 infectious diseases made it impossible to reduce or control the number of people in all groups and groups. The improvement of this training method will play a major role in improving the effectiveness of safety education in power plant workplaces.

Purpose - Key account management is a supplier company initiated relational approach that has received great attention from both academics and practitioners manifested in the business-to-business relationship literatures. However, there is widespread debate and contention on what should be the underlying theoretical base for defining this vital part of relationship marketing. With the insights from the social exchange theory, present paper explores how social exchange affects the dynamic nature of key account management relationship at the organizational level. Research design, data, and methodology - The paper follows a comprehensive review approach to examine the relationship between social exchange theory and key account management approach. Conceptual arguments and findings are assessed across studies with the main objective of showing how social exchange theory develops the governance mechanism in maintaining the key account relationship. Results - Since relational norm is considered as a glue for the maintenance of buyer-seller relationship in social exchange theory, factors develop the non-contractual governance mechanism 'relationship' in business-to-business relationship and this norm replaces or supplements more formal governance mechanisms such as contracts are explored. Conclusions - This paper advances central relational norm to manage the company's most important key customers and demonstrates how this norm can be developed in buyer-seller key account relationship. Implications from this new perspective are forwarded.

Sapkyo Lake Watershed occupies about 19.3% of total area of Chungnam Province, and it is necessary to make a plan of counter-measure for the maintenance of public waterbody sound as well as to ensure water resources due to urbanization and industrialization in this area so densely populated and excessively developed. Conventionally water quality management has been enforced by concentration-based system which is not considered the carrying capacity of receptors, hence there are no proper measures for the prevention of an excessive pollutant load over a waterbody. So even though emission sources abide by the conventional permission regulation, then the quantity of wastewater is increased continuously and encountered water shortage to use finally. Therefore this research focused on the review of introduction of total water quality management system in Sapkyo Lake watershed to maintain public waterbody sound and to ensure water resources. By doing this research in introduction of the system in advance, it can contribute to establish the methodology on systematic water quality management. Also the application of this system in Sapkyo Lake watershed can promote the sustainable development of the area by harmonizing the environment and regional economy ultimately.

Recently, a combination of Business Process Management (BPM) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is being recommended as the best approach for automating large business systems. And the need to create meaningful information from daily operational data is increased today. In this paper, we propose a methodology for automating business processes based on the BPM-SOA convergence trend and verify the methodology by implementing the project management business process. BPM-SOA convergence provides higher extensibility and productivity due to the loosely coupled system construction and maintenance. The system has good properties for frequent process changes and reuse of duplicate processes. We then analyze extensibility of the system as new business processes are added to the existing system. We finally analyze the data generated by BPM by using SAP business intelligence to support management's decision making and strategy. Business intelligence provides not only useful data for business decisions but also chance to optimize the business processes.

Domestically, technical condition evaluation for breakwaters has been conducted through safety checks and safety diagnosis. If necessary, maintenance for the facility is conducted. However, in recent years, the need for infrastructure management has been increasing from a life-cycle-cost perspective. For these reasons, the "Sustainable Infrastructure Management Basic Act" was enacted. Previously, only the technical part of the breakwaters was evaluated. However, based on the act, comprehensive management of breakwaters will be possible through performance improvement by adding economic and political evaluations. In this study, evaluation factors and evaluation methods were developed for a breakwater rehabilitation project. The purpose of this study is to present a development direction, items, and methods for the evaluation of breakwater performance improvement to be applied in future practice. This study reviews the concept of maintenance and performance improvement, the literature related to performance improvement, and the project type for the common standard of performance improvement. Evaluation items and evaluation methods for breakwater rehabilitation are suggested to be reviewed by experts. The methodology suggested in this study could be used for preventive maintenance and to reduce accidents.

The purposes of this research are to use the buildings efficiently and long, save energies, make the cozy and comfortable environment of residential and living spaces, rearrange the related acts for easy implementation of remodeling, and activate the government's support programs so as to make remodeling activated in a safe mode. The scope and methodology of this research include the review of existing literatures and data on remodeling, census on apartment residents, influence factors, and the development of methods for activation of building remodeling and strengthening of safety management, like activation measures, licensing and ordering regulation updates, etc regarding the remodeling. Safety inspection and in-depth inspection before and after remodeling should be regulated. The construction materials for remodeling should be light weighted and the construction methods which can minimize the impact and vibration during construction should be selected. The improvement of regulation on the remodeling contractor qualification and order method should be updated. If the remodeling is activated and safety management is reinforced by the suggested measures, solving of lack of house, prevention of abuse of resources, and improvement of residential environment could be accomplished rationally.

Purpose: This study measured the consumer-perceived importance and satisfaction of eco-friendly food selection factors and performed the IPA to derive the factors that need to be maintained, reinforced, improved and selectively improved or where investment need to be minimized, and thus provide some clues for eco-friendly food companies' sales growth. Research design, data and methodology: To this end, efficient questionnaires of a total of 312 respondents who answered the questions about the importance of and the satisfaction with 20 selection attribute factors of eco-friendly foods were returned, and then, paired-samples t-test and IPA by all respondents, gender, age and incomes were conducted. Results: The analysis showed that a maintenance/reinforcement strategies planned by companies are required for some factors including 'safety' and 'product quality' at the first quadrant, while active improvement strategies are required for others including 'price' and 'flavor' at the second quadrant. Conclusions: The findings show that different marketing strategies should be established for each consumer who often purchase eco-friendly foods, and that more effective and efficient performance of eco-friendly food companies may be acquired by establishing and operating active improvement strategies.

Purpose: It is important to identify problems in elders' health through health examination as a part of health service for elders and to execute health education so that elders have appropriate abilities to manage and protect themselves. This study was attempted to assess the need of health education in the elderly and to analyze factors affecting the need of health education. Method: The participants in this study were 354 elderly people living independently in the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province of Korea, and a questionnaire survey was conducted through personal interviews from June 25 to July 26, 2007. The methodology was a descriptive study. Data were collected and analyzed using SPSS Win 12.0. Results: As for the contents of education, elders preferred most the area of 'prevention and management of elderly diseases.' Detailed education contents preferred by elders were the prevention of accidents, diet habits, exercise and weight management, mental health and stress management, complementary and alternative therapies, management of drinking and smoking, etc. Conclusion: According to elders' concerns and needs, systemic health education for the elderly should provide right health knowledge, health maintenance, health promotion and setting of appropriate health education.

There is a tremendous need for an effective indoor facility management since the building are tend to be built taller and bigger due to latest technology, Also, information that is continuously used and transferred during the design and construction phase is emerging due to 3D object-oriented CAD. Therefore, a system that will use such information for facility management should be developed. In this study, we present the methodology for definition the process that generates the Space Network Model automatically and examine the effective value of it.
