멕시코만 Main Pass 해역의 중생대-신생대 퇴적층의 탄성파층서 (Seismic Stratigraphy of the post-Paleozoic Sedimentary Section in the Main Pass area, Northern Gulf of Mexico)

  • 미국 멕시코만 Main Pass해역의 심부 다중탄성파단면도를 해석하여 이 지역의 층서와 퇴적사에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 탄성파단면을 이용한 구조해석을 통하여 기반암과 과거의 대륙붕단 위치에 대한 새로운 정보를 밝힐 수 있었다. 기반암은 미시시피 대륙붕의 탄성파 측선 LSU-1 북단에서 $7.5{\cal}Km$ 깊이에 존재함이 밝혀졌다. 또한, 쥬라기 -백악기 초기에는 대륙붕단이 거의 같은 지점에 위치하였으나 신생대 올리고세에는 그보다 약 28 Km 대륙쪽에 위치함이 밝혀졌다. 중생대-신생대 퇴적층은 10개의 탄성파층서단위 (seismic stratigraphic sequence) 로 구분되며 , 멕시코만 주변의 다른 해역과 비교해볼 때 주된 광역부정합면은 중기 마이오세 (10.5 Ma), 중기올리고세 (30 Ma), 중기 백악기 (97 Ma) 와 쥬라기말 (131 Ma)에 형성되었음을 알 수 있다 연구해역은 퇴적사로 볼 때 3개의 현저한 시기로 나눌 수 있는바; (1)멕시코만 열림 -중기 백악기 사이의 천해퇴적 환경; (2)중기 백악기 -중기 올리고세 사이의 심해퇴적환경; (3)중기 을리고세 이후의 천해퇴적환경으로 구분된다. 멕시코만 북부해역에 위 치하는 Main Pdss해역과 동북부 해역에 위치하는 Destin Dome 지역에서 시추된 시추자료와 탄성파자료를 종합하여 해석한 결과 멕시코만 북부 퇴적분지가 후기백악기부터 육성기원의 쐐기 (wedge)형태로 발달되기 시작하였음을 알 수 있다.

智異山 國立公園 道路비탈면에 對한 조사 硏究 (A Study on the Roadside Slope of the Parkway in Chi-Ri Mountain National Park)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the roadside slope of mountainous Parkway. 48 sites were selected by Random Ranking Sampling. This study was researched on the slope condition with the cause of occurrence, the situation of fundamental engineering works and vegetation on slopes. The main results of this research are summarized as follow ; 1. Slope shapes are shown nine types in cut slope and four types in fill slope. 2. Generally, fill slopes are larger than cut slopes in slop area. 3. Grade is more steep than standard grade. 4. Main engineering works, which constructed for slope stability, are terracing, side-ditch wall, channel, concrete trellis works and wire fence. 5. Roundabout channel were many constructed within the sector of Ukmojeong-Deokdong, but were few constructed within the sector of Banseon-Seongsam pass and Cheoneun Temple-Seongsam pass. 6. Most. of side-ditch wall were constructed of concrete and wet-masonry. 7. In vegetation works, many exterior species were selected. 8. Planting pattern was not combinated with the national park landscape.

The Influence of Cimetidine on the Pharmacokinetics of Diltiazem and its Main Metabolite in Rabbits

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the pharmacokinetic alteration of diltiazem and its main metabolite, deacetyldiltiazem, after oral administration of diltiazem in rabbits with or with-out cimetidine co-administration. The area under the plasma concentration-time curve (AUC) of diltiazem was significantly elevated in rabbits pretreated with cimetidine, suggesting that the oral clearance, an index of intrinsic clearance, may be decreased by the cimetidine treatment. Consistent with the increased AUC by the treatment, peak plasma concentration ($C_{max}$) for diltiazem was also elevated. Apparent volume of distribution normalized by the bioavailability (($V_{d}$/F) of diltiazem increased sigrificantly in rabbits pretreated with cimetidine increased. Taken together with the fact that the first pass metabolism for diltiazem is the primary determinant for the oral bioavailability, these observations indicate that increases in the oral clearance and (($V_{d}$/F may be a manifestation of the decreased first pass metabolism. Consistent with the hypothesis, the AUC of deacetyldiltiazem was significantly decreased in rabbits with cimetidine treatment. Ratio of deacetyldiltiazem to total diltiazem in the plasma was significantly decreased in rabbits with cimetidine treatment. These observations suggested that the metabolism of diltiazem to deacetyldiltiazem was reduced by cimetidine treatment and that the dosage of diltiazem should be adjusted when the drug is co-administered chronically with cimetidine in a clinical setting.

선용 강판 수중용접부의 인장 구속 균열 특성에 관한 연구 (Study on the tensile restraint crack characteristics in underwater welds of marine steel plates)

  • Generally the factors affected largely by the cold cracking sensitivity of the weld are the quantity of the diffusible hydrogen, the brittleness and hardness of the bond area and the tensile restraint stress. These factors have relation each other, and if we can reduce one of these factors, it becomes instrumental to the root cracks prevention of weld. This study deals with the gravity type-underwater-welding of KR Grade A-3 marine steel plate using E4303 welding electrode in order to compare wet-underwater-welding with in-air- welding, resulting in obtaining the tensile restraint characteristics, the hardness distribution, the quantity of diffusible hydrogen and the macro- and micro-crack properties in both underwater and in-air welds. The main results obtained are as follows: 1) The quantity of diffusible hydrogen measured for 48 hours is about 18cc/100g-weld-metal for the in-air-weld of one pass and about 48cc/100g-weld-metal for the underwater-weld of one pass which is about 3 times penetration of diffusible hydrogen compairing with the case of the in-air-weld. However, it was experimentally confirmed that, by the multi-pass welding of 2 to 5 passes, the diffusible hydrogen in the underwater weld metal can be reduced as much as 27 to 49%. 2) The hardness of the weld metal indicates the highest value in the heat affected zones of underwater weld for more rapid cooling rate, resulting in the higher sensitivity of cold cracking. So, it is desirable to soften the higher hardness in the HAZ by tempering effect such as the multi-pass welding in the underwater welding. 3) At the bond vicinity of the underwater weld HAZ, micro cracks were found as resulted by both more rapid cooling rate and more diffusible hydrogen and also by the stress corrosion cracking under the tensile restraint stress in the underwater. But this could be prevented by the tempering effect of the following weld bead such as the multi-pass welding.

군산 연안 해역 항행 위해 요소 분석 (1) (Analysis on the navigation risk factors in Gunsan coastal area (1))

  • The Coastal VTS will be continuously constructed to prevent marine traffic accidents in the coastal waters of the Republic of Korea. In order to provide the best traffic information service to the ship operator, it is important to understand the navigation risk factor. In this study, we analyzed the navigational hazards of Gunsan coastal area where the coastal VTS will be constructed until 2020. For this purpose, major traffic flows of merchant ships and density of vessels engaged in fishing were analyzed. This study was conducted by Automatic Identification System (AIS) and Vessel Pass (V-PASS) data. The grid intervals are 10 minute ${\times}$ 10 minute (latitude ${\times}$ longitude) based on the section of the sea. A total of 30 sections were analyzed by constructing a grid. As a result of the analysis, the major traffic flows of the merchant vessels in the coastal area of Gunsan were surveyed from north to south toward Incheon, Pyeongtaek, Daesan, Yeosu, Pusan and Ulsan, and from east to west in the port of Gunsan Port, 173-3, 173-6, 173-8, 183-2, 183-5, 183-8, 183-3, 184-1 and 184-2. As a result of the study, the fishing boats in Gunsan coastal area mainly operated in spring and autumn. On the other hand, the main traffic flow of merchant ships and the distribution of fishing vessels continue to overlap from March to June, so special attention should be paid to the control during this period.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 GIS 기법을 이용하여 지형을 분석함으로써 서울-동두천 간의 추가령곡에서 최적 방어지역을 선정하는 것이다. 연구내용은 지형요소에 의한 보병부대의 최적방어지역 선정, 접근로를 중심으로 한 최적방어지역 선정, 그리고 양자간 차이점의 비교${\cdot}$분석이다. 연구과정은 최적 방어지역의 선정을 위한 고려요소의 검토, GIS를 이용하여 지역을 선정하는 과정 그리고 선정된 최적지역을 분석하는 과정의 세가지로 구성된다. 지형요소를 고려한 보병부대의 최적 방어지역은 도봉산, 수락한, 와방산, 국사봉 등과 같은 험준한 산악지역이며, 접근로를 고려한 최적 방어지역은 국사봉-축석령-불국산을 연결하는 동-서의 지역으로서 공간적 패턴이 특징적으로 나타난다.

딜티아젬과 아세부토롤의 약물상호작용 (Pharmacokinetic Interactions of Diltiazem and Acebutolol)

  • Acebutolol is almost absorbed after oral administration, but its bioavailability is reduced because of considerable first-pass metabolism through the gastrointestinal tract and liver. The purpose of this study was to report the pharmacokinetic changes of acebutolol (15 mg/kg,oral) and its main metabolite, diacetolol in rabbits pretreated (15 mg/kg, oral) and coadministered (15 mg/kg, S. C., bid for 3 days) with diltiazem. The plasma concentration and area under the plasma concentration-time curves (AUC) of acebutolol and diacetolol were significantly increased in rabbits pretreated and coadministered with diltazem. The elimination rate constant ( $K_{el}$ ) and total body clearances (CL $_{t}$) of acebutolol and diacetolol were significantly decreased and half-life of those were significantly prolonged in the rabbit. Metabolite percentage rate of diacetolol to the plasma concentration of total acebutolol in rabbits pretreated and coadministered with diltiazem were significantly decreased. The results suggest that the dosage of acebutolol should be adjusted when the drug would be administered chronically with diltiazem in a clinical situation.n.

Spatio temporal analysis of land subsidence due to declining groundwater levels in arid region of Pakistan using Sentinel-1 SAR imegery

  • In this paper we showed the application of European Space Agency's C-band Sentinel-1 Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imagery to identify land subsidence in a heavily groundwater pumping area. We used the repeat pass satellite interferometry method in combination with persistent scattering (PS) interferometric technique to generate and analyze twenty-eight interferograms for the period October 2014 to November 2016. The interferometry results show that land subsidence is more pronounced in the urban areas. Excessive groundwater pumping in the study area is believed to be the main reason for land subsidence. The results are compared with the subsidence rate measured by GPS as reported in other studies and with the mean change in total water storage field of GRACE solutions provided by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) and the Center for Space Research (CSR). The comparison shows persistently decreasing trends during the period of study. A strong reliance of the trend of land subsidence on the temporal decline in total water storage proposes that much of the land subsidence can be attributed to heavy pumping of the groundwater.

생태통로와 주변도로에서 야생조류의 이동 비교 (The Comparison of Wild Birds Movement between Eco-Corridor and Neighboring Crossing Road)

  • 야생동물 이동을 위해 설치된 '생태통로'를 야생조류가 선택적으로 이용하는지 알아보기 위하여 서울시 호암1터널, 까치산근린공원, 덕릉고개 등 육교형 생태통로에서 '생태통로'와 '주변도로'를 이동하는 야생조류를 2006년 6월부터 9월까지 총 9회에 걸쳐 조사하였다. 3개 지역 중 까치산 근린공원, 덕릉고개 등 능선에 위치한 생태통로에서 야생조류는 생태통로를 선택적으로 이용하지 않았으나, 사면에 위치한 호암1터널에서 야생조류는 생태통로를 유의하게 높게 이용하였다. 생태통로의 폭이 90m 이상이거나 사면에 위치할 경우, 야생조류의 이동에 유리한 것으로 판단된다. 생태통로를 이용한 야생조류의 종 구성 측면에서, 관목층 둥지 조류는 2m 이하의 관목층 엽층량과 상관성이 있었고, 수관층 둥지 조류는 7~8m 엽층량과 상관성이 높았다. 야생조류 이동을 위한 생태통로는 대상지 입지 여건에 따라 목표종을 선정해야 하지만, 서울시의 경우 붉은머리오목눈이 등 관목층 조류를 대상종으로 선정하고, 다양한 야생조류의 이동을 위해서는 사면지역에 약 1ha 크기(폭 90m 이상) 생태통로에 2m 이하의 관목층과 8m 이상의 수관층 피도량을 높여주는 산림환경구조를 조성해주는 것이 바람직한 것으로 판단된다.

자망어선 밀도 분석을 통한 서해안 안전항로에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Safe Route through the Analysis of the Density of the Gill Netters in the West Sea)

  • 본 연구는 서해안에서 상선의 어구 손괴로 인한 추진기 장애를 예방하기 위해 연안자망어선의 월별분포를 제시하였다. 분석 방법은 2014년 1년간의 어선위치발신장치 데이터를 이용하였다. 조업 해구도를 기준으로 경 위도 $30^{\prime}{\times}30^{\prime}$크기의 해구별 간격으로 격자를 설정하였다. 총 56개 해구를 대상으로 격자를 구성하였다. 연구 결과 밀도지수가 가장 높았던 194해구는 어구 손괴가 없었다. 반면, 밀도지수가 상대적으로 작은 193해구는 상선의 주 통항경로에 어구가 설치되기 때문에 손괴가 발생했다. 이 분석을 바탕으로 어구 손괴는 밀도지수에 비례하지 않고 상선의 주 통항경로에 따라 손괴위험이 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 상선의 안전항해를 위해 5월부터 9월까지 위도 $34.5^{\circ}{\sim}35.5^{\circ}$, 경도 $125.67^{\circ}{\sim}126^{\circ}$를 항행경보구역으로 통보하면 추진기 장애와 어구손괴와 같은 해양사고를 예방할 것이다. 따라서 상선이 193해구와 203해구를 항해할 때는 안전한 항해를 위해 위도 $34.5^{\circ}{\sim}35.5^{\circ}$, 경도 $125.5^{\circ}{\sim}125.67^{\circ}$을 추천한다.
