The color is one of the important key words in Fashion arena today. In fashion, the image and concept changes by use of color or color combinations. The purpose of this research is to pursue the characteristics of color and color combinations through analyzing the colors utilized in oriental fashion design. It is necessary to define the oriental fashion design to build a criteria for collecting law materials for analysis of the research. As a conclusion, traditional oriental colors already used in various traditional artifacts were popular in use by many fashion designers with volatile attitudes towards its original symbolic meanings or philosophy. For example, yellow and red stands for gorgeous or sexy images through fashion design instead of express its original symbols of power and prosperity. The Complimentary Color Combination in hue, value and intensity of colors were also found in fashion design impling oriental images. While Contemporary Fashion Trend Color were also used in expressing Oriental images with oriental details considering fashion market. In using Oriental colors The characteristics of oriental colors and its combinations used in fashion designs are significant and their influences are meaningful not only in fashion design but also adjacent design areas.

In this study, Western-style first birthday clothing for girls from online shopping malls was explored. Specifically, clothing types, forms, colors, textiles, prints/patterns, and trimmings were examined. Using the keyword dol bok (meaning "first birthday clothing") and the search engines Naver and Daum, online shopping malls that sell or rent Western-style first birthday clothing for girls were found. From 15 online shopping malls, 317 dresses, 76 outers, and 69 bonnets were analyzed. The one-piece dress was the main item of Western-style first birthday clothing for girls. Most first birthday dresses were white or ivory in terms of color; other common features were the bell silhouette, a high waistline, a midi- or knee-length skirt with multiple layers, and bow trimming. The upper bodices of dresses featured round necklines without collars and sleeves, and the main textiles used for dresses were satin, lace, organza, and tulle. Two main types of outers were jackets and capes. Most outers were white or ivory and waist-length or shorter, with elbow-length or longer sleeves. Outers were typically made of fur, satin, and lace. Most bonnets were also white or ivory in color, made of satin and lace, and decorated with ribbon ties and frills/ruffles. Because a precedent study indicates that a monochromatic color scheme was the least favorite and that consumers want a proper fit and length-adjustable design, conclusions of this study point to the need for color diversification; color combinations for two-piece dresses, outers, and accessories; and lacing or shoulder snaps instead of zippers.

자칫 지루하게 느껴질 수 있는 책꽂이를 사용자의 행위에 의해 색상을 변화 시키며 즐길 수 있는 조명의 기능을 포함한 새로운 개념의 책꽂이로 디자인 하였다. 책꽂이의 조명을 탈착 가능하도록 디자인 하여 조명만을 따로 사용할 수도 있고, 조명 책꽂이는 모듈화 되어 있으며 메인 조명 책꽂이는 MCU(Micro Controller Unit), RGB LED와 컬러센서를 포함하고 있어 조명 책꽂이를 중심으로 아홉 개까지 네 방향으로 확장이 가능하다. 확장 가능한 다수의 조명 책꽂이는 MCU와 컬러센서를 내장하고 있지 않으며 단지 RGB LED만이 설치되어 있고 전원은 메인조명 책꽂이에서 공급 받을 수 있는 배선장치만을 가지고 있다. 메인 조명 책꽂이를 통해 전원과 색상 신호만을 전달 받아 서브 조명 책꽂이들은 조명의 색상을 변화 시킬 수 있다. 또한 사물인터넷의 기능을 포함한다. 본 연구는 이러한 센서를 이용해 책꽂이의 조명을 조절할 수 있는 모듈화된 디자인 제품의 제안이다.

Internet shopping has transformed our daily lives as well as the pattern of consumption. In the word, the development and the growth of online shopping site have led to new pattern of consumption. This applies in particular to clothing, among the product on sale, on the internet. The purpose of this research is to analyze the characteristic of colors and images on internet fashion soho mall web site, and to provide efficient color information which is usefull in color planning and suitable for brand image on fashion web site. 147 color sample used by 40 fashion soho mall web site were collected and analyzed. The results of this study are as follows. First, dominant color on fashion web site is static color as black and it's ratio is 33$\%$. Second, G color is not used. Third, Hue and tone mainly used It tone of P color except V tone. And the color image on internet fashion soho mall web site are modern, chic, dandy, formal. Results from analyzing the fashion soho mall Web site. it is important to unity the company's image but its more important to make a color plan considering the sites feature and the customers's sensitivity.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the tendency of color preference for the elderly in housing. For this, a questionnaire survey was carried out with color chips and 9 photos of the living rooms which were chosen among apartment model houses in Pusan. Preference of color usage was measured by SD scale developed by advertising adjectives for the model houses. The result of this study are as follows: 1) The preferred color image was characterized as soft, warm and simple. The main factors of color image were identified and named as 'dignity factor' and 'personality factor'. 2) The elderly preferred G generally, but R for dominant color of the living room. They distinguished their attitudes about the color by the purpose of color usage. 3) For colors of architectural components of the living room, preferred colors were narrowed Y, YR and R for wall, art wall and floor. Beige was the most popular color in the living room for the elderly. This research can contribute to the basic data of color planning for the elderly housing.

UBVI CCD photometry of open cluster NGC 2324 is presented. C-M diagrams of this cluster show well-defined main sequence with a red giant clump centered at B - V =1.05, V =13.45. We derived the major cluster characteristics; E(B - V)=0.17$\pm$0.12 from color-color diagram and mean color of red giant clump stars, (m - M)o=13.1$\pm$0.1 from zero age main sequence fitting, and [Fe/H]$\~$-0.32 from comparison the theoretical model developed by Bertelli et al. (1994) to the observed C-M diagrams. We estimate the age of NGC 2324 to be log t$\~$8.8 by applying isochrone fitting and morphological age index method.

As the LED or LCD technology has been developed, if we use LED or LCD pannel, more wide color range coluld be obtained as CRT monitor. Specially, full color LED display is developed by high brightness blue LED. It can be applicable to display pannel with a long-life, wide visible angle and high brightness. A display pannel shows the images of CRT monitor performed by the main computer. Graphic application in the main computer is therefore more important in the market. Conventional 3D STUDIO, one of graphic softwares, has difficulties in manipulating and understanding the specific terminology so that one may need more time to learn it. We, therefore, developed graphic application which can recycle the conventional 3D images by creating or editing the image easily.

This study investigated whether people experience a correspondence between color hue-tone and the main characters' emotions in the 2012 British musical drama film, Les $Mis\grave{e}rables$ through three practical experiments. Six screen images, which represent the characters' different emotions (Parrot's six primary types including love, joy, surprise, anger, sadness, and fear) were selected. For each screen image, participants were asked to judge the degree of the character's dominant emotions evoked from 17 varied screen images, which consisted of original chromatic and achromatized images as well as 15 color-filtered images (5 hues X 3 tones of the IRI color system). These tasks revealed that a chromatic color scheme is more effective to deliver the characters' positive emotions (i.e. love and joy) than an achromatic one. In addition, they proved that the hue and tone dimensions partially influence the relationships between the character emotions and colors.

This paper proposes the design of a multi-color lamp using high brightness RGB LEDs for color variation. Appropriate number of RGB LEDs is so chosen according to the color mixing theory that the overall LEDs represent a color temperature of 6500K. Also, the chosen RGB LEDs are suitably arranged by using an optical design program. The lamp has an internal controller circuit, so it can be directly connected to the existing incandescent lamp socket. It's main body is comprised of two PCB layers. The upper layer contains 44 LEDs and the lower one has a simple microcontroller-based PWM control circuit. The lamp has functions of both ON/OFF control and PWM control, and enables color variation of over 100,000 colors and of more than 10 patterns.

The purpose of this study is to find out the symbolic meaning of interior color a the chosun dynasty's upper class houses, and to review it from a point of view of the Western coloring harmony theory. from this study, the Oriental philosophy, the ideas of Confucianism, and the ethnic traits influenced the interior color of the Chosun Dynasty's upper class houses like an-bang or sarang-bang. The results indicated that main color, auxiliary color, accent color were harmonized with similar harmony by hue and with contrast harmony by value and chroma. Therefore, interior color image of Korean traditional houses should be applied to the various design field as well as modern interior desigv.
