Objectives: This study was designed to evaluate the changes in the particle filtration efficiencies of five cloth masks (4 plate types, 1 cup type) with an increasing number of machine washings and the degree of cloth expansion. Methods: NaCl aerosols were generated using an atomizer and passed through cloth masks in a dynamic aerosol chamber. Particle concentrations were measured both before and after for the cloth masks using an optical particle counter (OPC) in the size range of $0.3{\sim}10{\mu}m$. Results: In the original condition, the filtration efficiencies of the five cloth masks were A: 20.1%, B:30.9%, C: 25.0%, D: 26.5%, and E: 40.9%. As the number of washings increased in the order of one, two, and four times, the filtration efficiencies of cloth mask C increased. The filtration efficiency of A, D, and E increased after the first washing. With the exception of B, the filtration efficiency of cloth masks increased after the second washing and those of all cloth masks increased after the fourth washing. This might be caused by the fibers untangling from the yarn and being freed at one end. In this status, the packing density of the textile will not change, but the distances between fibers will increase, which might bring about an increase in filtration efficiency. When the cloth masks were extended by 10% and 20% in one direction, the filtration efficiencies of cloth masks B, D, and E decreased at 10% extension, and those of all cloth masks decreased at 20% extension. When the cloth masks were expanded by 10% and 20% in two directions, the filtration efficiencies of all cloth masks decreased by at least 34.7% at 10% extension, and by at least 60.9% at 20% extension Conclusions: The filtration efficiency of cloth masks could decrease after one to two machine washings, but will increase after four washings in comparison with their original performances. The filtration efficiency of cloth masks will decrease when they are expanded, such as when stretching over the nose during wearing status.

This paper deals with an design of axial flux electric machine which is a key element for a compact size in a portable and manual generator system. It is expected that the generator system with an axial flux electric machine is more light and has higher efficiency than other types of generator systems. And it is used the soft magnetic composite core instead of silicon steel core in the axial flux electric machine for more compact size. The weight and efficiency of the generator system are the main keys to select the value of design variables. In this paper, the overall design process to meet the design goals, and the design results are presented with experiment results.

There has been unknown polynomial time algorithm for cellular formation problem (CFP) that is one of the NP-hard problem. Therefore metaheuristic method has been applied this problem to obtain approximated solution. This paper shows the existence of polynomial-time heuristic algorithm in CFP. The proposed algorithm performs coarse-grained and fine-grained cell formation process. In coarse-grained cell formation process, the cell can be formed in accordance with machine frequently used that is the number of other products use same machine with special product. As a result, the machine can be assigned to most used cell. In fine-grained process, the product and machine are moved into other cell that has a improved grouping efficiency. For 35 experimental data, this heuristic algorithm performs better grouping efficiency for 12 data than best known of meta-heuristic methods.
This paper presents a conceptual design approach of air-cored synchronous machine with high temperature superconductor (HTS) field winding. With a given configuration of a target machine, boundary conditions are set in the cylindrical coordinate system and analytic field calculation is performed by solving a governing equation. To set proper boundary conditions, current distributions of the field winding and the armature winding are expressed by the Fourier expansion. Based on analytic magnetic field calculation results, key machine parameters are calculated: 1) inductance, 2) critical current of field winding, 3) weight, 4) HTS conductor consumption, and 5) efficiency. To investigate all potential design options, 6 sweeping parameters are determined to characterize the geometry of the machine and the parameter calculation process is performed for each design options. Among design options satisfying constraints including >80 % critical current margin and >95 % efficiency, in this paper, a first-cut design was selected in terms of overall machine weight and HTS conductor consumption to obtain a lightweight and economical design. The goal is to design a 5-MW machine by referring to the same capacity machine that was previously constructed by another group. Our design output is compared with finite element method (FEM) simulation to validate our design approach.
In analyzing the operational characteristics of a rice whitening machine, the internal radial pressure of the machine was measured using strain gage equipment. Changes in cylinder and feed screw configurations, screen type, cylinder speed and counter-pressure levels were examined to determine their impact on the quality and quantity of milled rice and the performance of the machine. The results are summarized as follows: 1. The internal radial pressure in the whitening chamber varied with the surface condition of the grain being processed. During the first or second pass through the machine, pressure was relatively low, reached a maximum after two to three passes with combinations I and II, three to six with combination III and then began to fall. 2. The pitch of the feed screw and the size of the feed gate opening which determine the rate of entry of grain into the whitening chamber, appeared to be the most important factor aff-::cting the degree of radial pressure, quality and quantity of milled rice and the efficiency of the machine. Using a feed screw with a wide pitch (4.8cm), radial pressure was relatively high and head rice recovery ratio \vere quite low. In this case capacity and machine effic?iency were much higher than obtained when using a feed screw with a narrow pitch (2.3cm). Very significant responses in radial pressure, head rice recovery rates and machine capacity were observed with changes in cylinder speed and counter-pressure levels when using the wide pitch feed screw. 3. The characteristics of the screen which surrounds the whitening chamber had an important effect on whitening efficiency. The existence of small protuberances on the original screen resulted in significant increases in both machine capacity and efficiency but without a significant decrease in head rice recovery or development of excessive radial pressure. Further work is required to determine the effects of screen surface conditions and the shape of the cylinderical steel roller on the rate of bran removal, machine efficiency and recovery rates. The size of the slotted perforations 0:1 the screen affects total milled rice recovery. The opening size on the original screen was fabricated to accommodate the round shape of Japonica rice varieties but was not suitable for the more slender Indica type. Milling Indica varieties with this screen resulted in a reduction in total milled rice recovery. 4. An increase in cylinder speed from 380 to 820 rpm produced a positive effect on head rice recovery for all machine combinations at every level of counter-pressure used in the tests. Head rice recovery was considerably lower at 380rpm using a wide screw pitch when compared to the results obtained at speeds from 600 to 820 r.p.m. The effects of cylinder speed On radial pressure, capacity and machine efficiency showed contrasting results, depending on the width of the feed screw pitch. With a narrow feed screw pitch (2.3cm), a direct proportional relationship was observed bet?ween cylinder speed and both radial pressure and machine efficiency. In contrast, using a 4.8 centimeter pitch feed roller produced a series of inverse relationships between the above variables. Based on the results of this study it is recommended when milling Indica type long grain rice varieties that the cylinder speed of the original machine be increased from 500-600 rmp up to a minimum of 800 rpm to obtain a greater abrasive effect between the grain and the screen. The pitch of the feed screw should be also reduced to decr?ease the level of internal radial pressure and to obtain higher machine efficiency and increased quality of milled rice with increased cylinder speeds. Further study on the interaction between cylinder speed and feed screw pitch is recommended. 5. An increase in the counter pressure level produced a negative effect On the head rice recovery with an increase in radial pressure, capacity, and machine efficiency over all combinations and at every level of cylinder speed. 6. Head rice recovery rates were conditioned primarily by the pressure inside the whitening chamber. According to the empirical cha racteristics curve developed in this study, the relationships of head rice recovery ($Y_h$) and machine capacity ($Y_c$/TEX>) to internal radial pressure ($X_p$) followed an inverse quadratic function and a linear function respectively: $$Y_h^\Delta=\frac{1}{{1.4383-0.2951X_p^\ast+0.1425X_p^{\ast\ast}}^2} , (R^2=0.98)$$$$Y_c^\Delta=-305.83+374.37X_p^{\ast\ast}, (R^2=0.88)$$The correlation between capacity and power consumption per unit of brown rice expressed in the following exponential function: $$Y_c^\Delta=1.63Y_c^{-0.7786^\{\ast\ast}, (R^2=0.94)$$These relationships indicate that when radial pressure increases above a certain range (1. 6 to 2.0 kg/$cm^2$ based On the results of the experiment) head ricerecovery decrea?ses in a quadratic relation with a inear increase in capacity but without any decrease in power consump tion per unit of brown rice. On the other hand, if radial pressure is below the range shown above, power consumption increases dramatically with a lin?ear decrease in capacity but without significant increases in head rice recovery. During the operation of a given whitening machine, the optimum radial pressure range or the correct capacity range should be selected by controlling the feed rate and/or counter-pressure keeping in mind the condition of the grain, particulary the hardness. It was observed that the total number of passes is related to radial pessure level, feed rate and counter-pressure level. The higher theradial pressure the fewer num?ber of pass required but with decreased head rice recovery. In particular, when using high feed rates, the total number of passes should be increased to more than three by reducing the counter-pressure level to avoid decreaseases in head rice recovery (less than 65 percent head rice recovery on the basis of brown rice) at every cylinder speed. 7. A rapid rise in grain temperature seemed to have a close relationship with the pressure generated inside the whitening chamber and, subsequently with head rice reco?very rates. The higher the rate of increase, the lower were the resulting head rice recoveries.

This study was carried out to evaluate the high rate biological reactor such as lab scale reactor before the application in site, and to get the basic data for possibility using liquid fertilizer with the effluent from biological reactor when the centrifugal machine was applied. The total volume of this reactor in 6 L, in composted of anoxic reactor (2 L), aerobic reactor (2 L), and nitification reactor (2 L). BOD removal efficiency rates when centrifugal machine was applied after effluent from biological reactor are over than 95%. This biological reactor was required post process to satisfy the effluent standards, and was need centrifugal machine to control the washout of microbes in the reactor. T-N removal efficiency rate in HRT 24 hr with centrifugation is 80.0%, and it is desirable to operate less than $1.3kgN/m^3{\cdot}d$ for 70% of T-N removal efficiency rate. T-P removal efficiency rate in HRT 24 hr is 68.2%, and become higher 71.3% after centrifugation. Considering in the 28.6% T-N removal efficiency rate, the nitrogen contents of the effluent from reactor is 0.34% to satisfy the liquid fertilizer.
In this paper, different switching tables proposed for the Direct Torque Controlled (DTC) of a six-phase induction machine are simulated and implemented. A six-phase induction motor has 64 space voltage vectors which result in increased complexity in the selecting of inverters switching. The unsuitable selection of a switching table leads to large harmonics especially at low speed and it also reduces drive efficiency. A six-phase induction machine has large zero sequence harmonic currents of the order $6{\kappa}{\pm}1$. These harmonic currents are varied in various techniques. Decreasing this loss is essential in a six-phase induction machine. The main purpose of this paper is to improve the ST-DTC of six-phase induction machines to reduce the voltage and current harmonics and the torque pulsation. Selecting a suitable method for minimizing these harmonics is very important.

In this paper, we present the sweeping machine with cyclone type dust collector for cleaning shipment exterior wall. Important cyclone characteristics such as the collection efficiency, pressure and velocity fields have been discussed and compared with the experimental data. The purpose of this study is to introduce the mechanism design of the high efficiency sweeping machine using the cyclone dust collector. Generally, the increase of inlet velocity of air in a cyclone dust collector improves the separation efficiency, while it results in increasing in the pressure losses nonlinearly.
The energy harvesting system using an inverted flag is analyzed by using an immersed boundary method to consider the fluid and solid interaction. The inverted flag flutters at a lower critical velocity than a conventional flag. A fluttering motion is classified into straight, symmetric, asymmetric, biased, and over flapping modes. The optimal energy harvesting efficiency is observed at the biased flapping mode. Using the three different machine learning algorithms, i.e., artificial neural network, random forest, support vector regression, the energy harvesting efficiency is predicted by taking bending rigidity, inclination angle, and flapping frequency as input variables. The R2 value of the artificial neural network and random forest algorithms is observed to be more than 0.9.

- 2년 이상 서비스를 이용한 적이 없는 경우
- 기타 정상적인 서비스 운영에 방해가 될 경우
② 상기 이용제한 규정에 따라 서비스를 이용하는 회원에게 서비스 이용에 대하여 별도 공지 없이 서비스 이용의
일시정지, 이용계약 해지 할 수 있습니다.
제 17 조 (전자우편주소 수집 금지)
회원은 전자우편주소 추출기 등을 이용하여 전자우편주소를 수집 또는 제3자에게 제공할 수 없습니다.
제 6 장 손해배상 및 기타사항
제 18 조 (손해배상)
당 사이트는 무료로 제공되는 서비스와 관련하여 회원에게 어떠한 손해가 발생하더라도 당 사이트가 고의 또는 과실로 인한 손해발생을 제외하고는 이에 대하여 책임을 부담하지 아니합니다.
제 19 조 (관할 법원)
서비스 이용으로 발생한 분쟁에 대해 소송이 제기되는 경우 민사 소송법상의 관할 법원에 제기합니다.

1. (시행일) 이 약관은 2016년 9월 5일부터 적용되며, 종전 약관은 본 약관으로 대체되며, 개정된 약관의 적용일 이전 가입자도 개정된 약관의 적용을 받습니다.
