소셜 네트워크 분석과 토픽 모델링을 활용한 설명 가능 인공지능 연구 동향 분석 (XAI Research Trends Using Social Network Analysis and Topic Modeling)

  • Artificial intelligence has become familiar with modern society, not the distant future. As artificial intelligence and machine learning developed more highly and became more complicated, it became difficult for people to grasp its structure and the basis for decision-making. It is because machine learning only shows results, not the whole processes. As artificial intelligence developed and became more common, people wanted the explanation which could provide them the trust on artificial intelligence. This study recognized the necessity and importance of explainable artificial intelligence, XAI, and examined the trends of XAI research by analyzing social networks and analyzing topics with IEEE published from 2004, when the concept of artificial intelligence was defined, to 2022. Through social network analysis, the overall pattern of nodes can be found in a large number of documents and the connection between keywords shows the meaning of the relationship structure, and topic modeling can identify more objective topics by extracting keywords from unstructured data and setting topics. Both analysis methods are suitable for trend analysis. As a result of the analysis, it was found that XAI's application is gradually expanding in various fields as well as machine learning and deep learning.

No-code machine learning tools is a platform that enables machine learning functions to be performed without engineers or developers. The latest No-Code machine learning tools run in your browser, so you don't need to install any additional software, and the simple GUI interface makes them easy to use. Using these platforms can save you a lot of money and time because there is less skill and less code to write. No-Code machine learning tools make it easy to understand artificial intelligence and machine learning. In this paper, we examine No-Code machine learning tools and compare their features.

  • 앞으로의 시대는 인공지능을 이용한 다양한 분야에 다양한 제품이2 생성될 것이다. 이러한 시대에 인공지능의 학습 방법의 동작 원리를 알고 이를 정확하게 활용하는 것은 상당히 중요한 문제이다. 이 논문은 지금까지 알려진 인공지능 학습 방법을 소개한다. 인공지능의 학습은 수학의 고정점 반복 방법(fixed point iteration method)을 기반으로 하고 있다. 이 방법을 기반으로 수렴 속도를 조절한 GD(Gradient Descent) 방법, 그리고 쌓여가는 양을 누적하는 Momentum 방법, 마지막으로 이러한 방법을 적절히 혼합한 Adam(Adaptive Moment Estimation) 방법 등이 있다. 이 논문에서는 각 방법의 장단점을 설명한다. 특히, Adam 방법은 조정 능력을 포함하고 있어 기계학습의 강도를 조정할 수 있다. 그리고 이러한 방법들이 디지털 신호에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지에 대하여 분석한다. 이러한 디지털 신호의 학습과정에서의 변화는 앞으로 인공지능을 이용한 작업 및 연구를 수행함에 있어 정확한 활용과 정확한 판단의 기준이 될 것이다.

A Study on Comparison of Lung Cancer Prediction Using Ensemble Machine Learning

  • Lung cancer is a chronic disease which ranks fourth in cancer incidence with 11 percent of the total cancer incidence in Korea. To deal with such issues, there is an active study on the usefulness and utilization of the Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS) which utilizes machine learning. Thus, this study reviews existing studies on artificial intelligence technology that can be used in determining the lung cancer, and conducted a study on the applicability of machine learning in determination of the lung cancer by comparison and analysis using Azure ML provided by Microsoft. The results of this study show different predictions yielded by three algorithms: Support Vector Machine (SVM), Two-Class Support Decision Jungle and Multiclass Decision Jungle. This study has its limitations in the size of the Big data used in Machine Learning. Although the data provided by Kaggle is the most suitable one for this study, it is assumed that there is a limit in learning the data fully due to the lack of absolute figures. Therefore, it is claimed that if the agency's cooperation in the subsequent research is used to compare and analyze various kinds of algorithms other than those used in this study, a more accurate screening machine for lung cancer could be created.

  • Finite element simulation is a widely applied method for practical purpose in various metal forming process. However, in the simulation of elasto-plastic behavior of porous material or in crystal plasticity coupled multi-scale simulation, it requires much calculation time, which is a limitation in its application in practical situations. A machine learning model that directly outputs the constitutive equation without iterative calculations would greatly reduce the calculation time of the simulation. In this study, we examined the possibility of artificial intelligence based constitutive equation with the input of existing state variables and current velocity filed. To introduce the methodology, we described the process of obtaining the training data, machine learning process and the coupling of machine learning model with commercial software DEFROMTM, as a preliminary study, via rigid plastic finite element simulation.

  • This study presents the development of predictive models for uplift capacity of suction caisson in clay using an artificial intelligence technique, extreme learning machine (ELM). Other artificial intelligence models like artificial neural network (ANN), support vector machine (SVM), relevance vector machine (RVM) models are also developed to compare the ELM model with above models and available numerical models in terms of different statistical criteria. A ranking system is presented to evaluate present models in identifying the 'best' model. Sensitivity analyses are made to identify important inputs contributing to the developed models.

  • In this paper, we propose an automatic cosmetic foundation recommendation system that suggests a good foundation product based on the user's skin color. The proposed system receives and preprocesses user images and detects skin color with OpenCV and machine learning algorithms. The system then compares the performance of the training model using XGBoost, Gradient Boost, Random Forest, and Adaptive Boost (AdaBoost), based on 550 datasets collected as essential bestsellers in the United States. Based on the comparison results, this paper implements a recommendation system using the highest performing machine learning model. As a result of the experiment, our system can effectively recommend a suitable skin color foundation. Thus, our system model is 98% accurate. Furthermore, our system can reduce the selection trials of foundations against the user's skin color. It can also save time in selecting foundations.

  • 최근 인공지능의 활용 범위가 넓어짐에 따라 여러 방면으로 활용되고 있다. 종래에 학생들은 학교와 수 많은 과외를 통해 자기 주도 학습이 아닌 주입식 교육 방법으로 공부를 해 왔다. 주입식 교육의 문제점을 완화 시키기 위해 인공지능 영단어 어플을 통해 학생들의 수준을 고려하여 자기 주도 학습 능력 향상을 기대 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 효율적인 학습을 위한 인공지능 활용 방안에 대하여 제안하려 한다.
