  • In this study LLC and MAC program, which is the base of the communication software, is implemented. This program is tested in the MAP board for IBM PC. The LLC is of class 3, which provides the services of type 1 and 3. The MAC uses the Token Passing Bus Access Method of IEEE 802.4 standard. The LLC is implemented in C language, and MAC in C language and 80186 assembly language. MAC program takes advantage of MC 68824 which is the token bus controller produced by Motorola.

  • This paper is about Multi-function RFID Reader Platform that receives RF TAC data and transfer data to HOST PC through Blue-Tooth USB, RS-232 and Ethernet. This Reader system is composed of RFID Module, ARM Processor, RS-232, US5 and Ethernet Interface, etc.. The information of Tag stretches the RFID module through the antenna and is received at the ARM processor. ARM processor accomplishes the facility to deliver these informations at the PC server using the Blue-tooth Interface for the wireless and the RS-232, USB and Ethernet MAC Interface for the wire.

  • ARP spoofing is a typical Internet attack, in which an attacker sends data by changing his's MAC address with the other's one. Currently, this attack is usually dealt with separating the attacking PCs infected with ARP spoofing virus, by keeping network devices investigating by the network manager. However, this manual process has some limitations in time and accuracy. This paper proposes a new network management system to replace the effort of network manager who has to keep on inspecting the network. Along with designing an ARP analyzer and a disconnection notifier and adding them into the existing network management system, the proposed system provides a basement to identify and notify the PC infected by an ARP spoofing virus with fast and high accuracy. As a result, it is expected to minimize the network break off and to make easy the network management.

  • USB has arguably become the most successful PC peripheral interconnect ever defined. As appearing UWB, wireless USB (WUSB) emerges very popular technology. However, the distributed Medium Access Control (MAC) does not harmonize with the topology of WUSB. In this paper, we address a novel MAC protocol for conformity with WUSB. The protocol is to handle negotiation on Distributed Reservation Protocol (DRP) including the channel time slot of WUSB.

  • In this paper, a new Mac-wave detection system by strain gage is constructed for study on a Mac-wave which is major factor of diagnosis in oriental medicine. Inherent resistance of a strain gage is linearly changed with strain of the sensor, thus the Mac-wave of wrist can be detected by using of the strain gage. A precision bridge circuit and high sensitive amplifier is designed for detecting the change of resistance of the strain gage in this experiments. A very small change of Mac-wave is acquired in the circuit. And the digital signal of the detected Mac-wave are acquired on a PC by multichannel A/D converter and displayed graphically by programming. The characteristics of the Mac-wave of sampled 6 persons in the time and the frequency domain are analysed, therefore the usefulness of the system constructed in this experiments are proved.

  • In this paper, we devised mac-yule detection system which provide resting state mac-yule. The devised system composed of signal transformation part, signal processing part, and PC based display part. Hardware part consisit of PPG, ECG, EEG, EMG, and RSP. Also, software system consist of bio-signal processing software which detecting mac-yule. EEG-$\alpha$, $\beta$ wave analysis algorithm that use wavelet transformation, RSP detecting algorithm which used zero-crossing method.

  • IR-UWB has been developed as a standard of indoor ranging technology, because it has robust and good transmission characteristics in indoor environments and it can be operated with low power. In this paper, a IR-UWB packet analyzer is designed and implemented based on IEEE 802.15.4a, which is useful in developing IR-UWB real time location system with resolution of a few ten centimeters. A sniffer device of the packet analyzer monitors IR-UWB wireless networks, captures MAC packet frames, and transmits packet frames to the packet analyzing computer. The packet analyzing program in a computer analyzes received MAC packet frames and displays parsed packet information for developing engineers. Developed packet analyzer is used to analyze IEEE 802.15.4a MAC protocol, and also it can be used in other IEEE 802 series MAC protocol by modifying some functions.

  • 본 논문에서는 UC/OS 시스템을 사용하는 IEEE802.11 무선 MAC프로토콜의 처리과정중탐색, 인증, 결합 과정을 이더넷으로 동작하는 하드웨어 위에 에뮬레이션하였다. 에뮬레이션 환경은ADSv1.2을 사용하고, RTOS는UC / OS를, 사용언어는 C언어를 활용하였다. 검증과정으로는 이더넷으로 구동되는AP와 단말 하드웨어에 각각PC를 하이퍼 터미널으로 접속하여 탐색, 인증, 결합과정에 해당하는 절차를 수행하였다.

  • This paper is about designing and implementation of Multi-Function UHF RFID Reader Platform that receives and processes RFID tag data from the tags, and transmits the data to PC server through Bluetooth, USB, RS-232 or Ethernet. This reader system is composed of RFID module, ARM processor, RS-232 interface, USB, Ethernet MAC interface, Bluetooth etc.. This paper also provides a brief overview and concept of RFID reader, and proposes the design and implementations of the RFID reader platform. The paper evaluates and analyzes two practical implementations, fixed type and portable type.

A Design of 10b/8b Decoder for High-Speed Ethernet Applications (고속 이더넷 응용을 위한 10b/8b 디코더의 설계)

  • 본 논문에서는 고속 이더넷의 고속의 이더넷의 물리계층에서 수신된 비트열로 부터 클록을 복원하고, 이 클록으로부터 동기된 비트열을 10b/8b 디코딩한 다음, 바이트열로 복원하여 데이터 링크계층의 MAC(Media Access controller)로 전송한다. PCS의 디코더는 S비트의 데이터와 제어신호를 추출하여 MAC으로 전달하는 기능을 수행한다. 즉 본 논문에서는 PCS기능 중 가장 중요한 요소인 10b/8b 디코더를 VHDL언어를 사용하여 기술하고 Xilinx ISE5.1를 이용하여 구현하였고, 입력 부분에 DDR인터페이스를 사용하였다. 구현한 결과 1056개의 게이트 사용하였으며, 10Gbps를 지원하기 위해서는 한 블록 당 2.5Gbps의 처리속도가 필요하다. 설계 모듈은 5.1Gbps의 처리 속도를 지원하여 관련 응용분야에서 사용이 가능할 것으로 사료된다.
