This paper is to find out which factors affect preference and revisiting on brand personality according to cross-national college students in Korea and China, and to suggest distinguished strategies for attracting core customers continuously on each country and restaurants. This paper considers how Koreans found their positions in the complex, overlapping, disjunctive, and interconnected "Oriental" repertoires in the early Cold War years. When we use the term, Oriental, it should require careful translation from context to context because it may be subject to very different sets of contextual circumstances. Klein views Cold War Orientalism in the complex of various regions including East Asian and Southeast Asian countries; however, when Koreans are contextualized at the center of the discussion the Orientalism produces another discursive meaning. Even though many great researches have been done on Korean immigrations, Korean American literatures, and US-Korea economic, political, and foreign relations, not many discussions about Korean American popular cultures have been discussed in the basis of the Oriental discourse in the United States.For this argument, this paper investigates the performative trajectory of a girl group "Kim Sisters" who began to sing at the US military show stages in South Korea in 1952 during the Korean War. They moved to Las Vegas show stages in 1959 and later appeared in Ed Sullivan Show more than thirty times during the 1960s and 70s. Meanwhile, they not only returned to South Korea often times to perform at the stages for Korean audiences in South Korea but also played at the shows for Korean immigrants in the United States. Korean American immigration to the United States has followed a different route from the majority of Asian American population such as Chinese or Japanese Americans, which means that efforts to compare this particular group to the others may be unnecessary. This study evaluates the importance of negotiation agendas and the possibility of reaching the Korea-China FTA agreement. It assesses the current situation of trade barriers in the audiovisual service sector of China and then examines a survey of practitioners and experts to screen important regulations. The results are as follows: First, considering the national economic situation in Korea and the environment of the Chinese trade barrier, an important agenda is to enable the direct service of online games and to reach a co-production agreement in the audiovisual service sector. Second, an agenda regarding the co-production agreement of an audio-visual service sector has high potential to be realized, followed by agendas regarding online game and music services. In the broadcasting and film service sectors, with their high cultural identity, a mutual cooperative approach is needed. Korea bringing up the agenda regarding online service may allow it to gain a net benefit for the next FATs. To realize a mutual cooperative approach, it is necessary to form a frame of mutual interests and cooperation through a co-production agreement of audio-visual service. If both countries agree to acknowledge co-produced content as each country's contents, both would benefit.
The relationship between Confucian tradition and modern China has been discussed since the last century only on a preconceived level of "pre-modernization" without practical orientation, since the discussion has been referred to the modern West while China has not yet commenced modernization. Such being the case, it is of great significance to revert to this topic in the contemporary context of China's modernization. In other words, such new discussions are concerned with a series of difficulties China is presently confronted. This study describes the acceptance of Hae-Dong-Yu-Yo(海東遺謠), which is a book the 19th century to 20th century, into the genre of poetry. In chapter 2, I searched for lists, constructions and arrangement of poems in Hae-Dong-Yu-Yo(海東遺謠). The book has not only 39 poems (gasa) in Korean, but also more than 20 poems (hansi) in Chinese. I also found two new poems by the editor of the book. This shows that the receiver fully accepts the poetry and that he has equal consideration for Korean songs as well as hansi ones. In chapter 3, I focused on the red and blue points inside letters. When we read only the red and blue points within the poetry, I realized that Hae-Dong-Yu-Yo(海東遺謠) created these for poetry's literary value, not for music or songs. This reveals how the editor of Hae-Dong-Yu-Yo(海東遺謠) received the older famous poems as his own. This shows us the degree of acceptance of Korean classical poetry and songs, and therefore leads us to believe that this can be of use to present learners as well.
Deonum preexisted prior to it being named. Of course, the object designated as deonum at that time is not the same as the object designated as deonum at this time. There have been historical transitions in the definitions of the term deonum. This paper traced the term deonum to its origin from another angle. On closer inspection about the possible use as the everyday language and the technical language in the field of arts except for pansori, the term deonum was essentially a word for a tune. Deonum was in the same category as deureum, a great word in the Korean traditional music. But the definition of deonum as a tune used in the early part of the former period of eight master singers or before that gradually disappeared for a long time. When the term deonum as an everyday language first entered the field of pansori, it meaned characteristic tune singed by master singers. As pansori develop artistically, the term deonum changed into the word refers to the sori part, and this example become common in the former period of eight master singers. Most sori part acknowledged as a deonum in the former period of eight master singers was a deonum as a creative repertories, the master singer's creative work, but a deonum as a popular repertories, the master singer's specialty, began to be acknowledged as a deonum after the latter period of eight master singers. The differentiation between the definitions of deonum as a sori part occured. And most sori part acknowledged as a deonum after the modern era of five master singers have belonged to a deonum as a specialty. In this context, it was confirmed that Cheong Nosik wrote Joseonchanggeuksa, with carefully considering the historical change of definitions of deonum. This book includes three definitions of deonum, a deonum as a tune, a deonum as a creative work, and deonum as a specialty.
This study examines musical characteristics of so-called 'Hongdae Sound' as a historic musical trend by comparing with 'US 8th Army Sound' and British 'London Punk'. Hongdae Sound refers to the musical trend that was formed with independent bands and musicians who mostly performed live in the club called 'Drug' in Hongdae area, and voluntarily adopted minor musical sensitivity and indie spirit of 'post-punk rock' genre. But as an industrial standpoint the superficial identity of 'indie' interferes with academic approach when analysing musical aspects of Hongdae Sound. Therefore it is necessary to rearrange its characteristics as the musical trend based on regional classification in order to fully appreciate its status in history of Korean popular music. US 8th Army Sound refers to the musical trend that was played within the live stages in US military bases in Korea. Many hired Korean musicians for those shows were able to learn the current popular musical trend in the States, and to spread those to the general public outside the bases. The industrial system of the Army Sound was very similar to that of K-Pop, but when it comes to leading the newest musical trend of 'rock-n-roll', it had more resemblance to that of Hongdae Sound. London punk was the back-to-basic form of pure rock that was armed with social angst and rebel, indie spirit. Its primal motto was 'do-it-yourself', and Hongdae Sound mostly followed its industrial, musical and spiritual paths. London punk was short-lived because it abandoned its indie spirits and became absorbed to the mainstream. But Hongdae sound maintain its longevity by maintaining the spirit and truthfulness of indie, while endlessly experimenting with new trends.

Middle and high school girl students' menstruation characteristics, appearance of menstruation dysmenorrhea, and coping with the menstruation dysmenorrhea were examined in order to give information in instructing girl students about menstruation dysmenorrhea, in delivering health education in the school, and establishing health policy. 970 girl students in middle and high schools in Cheju-do were selected and surveyed using the questionnaire the author developed based on the previous studies. The findings are as follows. First, the age of first menstruation was average $12.9{\pm}1.22$ years. The younger they were, the earlier their first menstruation came. The most common menstrual cycle was such one that continuously irregular from the beginning or that regular and irregular cycle run together. The first irregular menstrual cycle changed regular one within 1 or 2 years. Most of the respondents had normal menstrual cycle of $21{\sim}35$ days and menstruation period of $3{\sim}8$ days. Second, symptom of menstruation dysmenorrhea was orderly; hurt in the underbelly, tired, hurt in the waist, and headache. It was higher with high school students than middle school students. For the most part, time of heavy menstruation dysmenorrhea was the 2nd day after menstruation starts and period of menstruation dysmenorrhea was 2 days. More than the half of the respondents felt that the present menstruation dysmenorrhea was similar with the first one and they felt not comport in daily life due to menstruation dysmenorrhea, and 'hard to live a normal life' was higher with the high school girl students than with the middle school students. Third, how to cope with menstruation dysmenorrhea was enough sleep, relax and rest, taking a hot water shower, listening to music or watching a movie, taking medicine, and doing excercise. Few of the respondents have ever visited a doctor due to menstruation dysmenorrhea, and the reason was mostly irregular menstruation and heavy dysmenorrhea. Forth, when they took medicine due to menstruation dysmenorrhea, they gathered information on the medicine from family members and friends, while extremely low from a pharmacist or a doctor. The most of them have ever took medicine during menstruation once and took standard dose. While excess dosage was higher with high school students than with middle school students. From these findings, a good many girls are experiencing menstruation dysmenorrhea since their first menstruation. To discover early the severely abnormal findings and to treat, more interest from home and school, counseling and sexual education on time, and expert's diagnosis are necessary. Rather than unconditionally taking pain-relievers which can plainly solve the pain, continuous health education at home and in the school should be carried on for the girls to practice proper measures one think effective or an expert recommends.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the current status of and suggest future improvement practices for cultural heritage education in primary school. We analyzed a primary school textbook for each of five subjects (Korean, social studies, music, art, physical education), surveyed ten teachers with cultural heritage education experience, and analyzed the results. Based on the results, we made the following five suggestions: First, the goal of cultural heritage education should be expanded to foster citizenship. Second, in cultural heritage education, it is necessary to discuss what should be included in the educational content and to organize the content systematically in connection with the student environment, local community environment, and subject content. Third, cultural heritage education should be linked with sustainable development so that cultural heritage can be passed on from the present generation to future generations. Cultural heritage has characteristics, such as universal values of humanity, that transcend national boundaries, regional identities, dialogue and understanding between civilizations, and sources of creativity, and thus serves as the foundation for sustainable development. Fourth, for the effective implementation of cultural heritage education in schools, it is necessary to develop step-by-step teacher training programs. The success or failure of cultural heritage education in schools depends on teacher training. Fifth, the degree to which cultural heritage education is integrated into the curriculum should be strengthened, allowing learners to be educated so that they can cultivate knowledge and critical thinking about cultural heritage, enjoy and protect it, and connect with a sustainable society.
