선박용 창의 차음성능 측정용 충진벽체 설치에 관한 실험적 고찰 (Experimental discussion on the installation of filler wall for sound insulation measurements of shipboard windows)

  • In order to measure sound transmission loss (STL) of a shipboard window of small size, a special partition is built into the test opening between two reverberation rooms and the specimen is placed in that partition. For high sound insulation, the filler wall often has multi-layered structure such as double-brick wall or buckhead structure with thick steel plate, absorptive material, and sandwich panels. This paper discusses the installation method of a multi-layered filler wall that consist of gypsum boards, lead plates, and glass wool. The experimental results of various wall structures are introduced. The comparison between the results show that the sound bridge effect plays a significant role in lowering the maximum STL of the filler wall. It is also found that the higher the sound insulation performance of the filler wall is, the more important the franking transmission through other side wall of the test facility is.

  • 본 논문에서는 IEEE 802.11n 표준에 제시된 3가지 블록길이(648, 1,296, 1,944)를 지원하는 효율적인 LDPC (Low-Density Parity Check) 복호기 구조를 제안한다. LDPC 복호기의 핵심 블록인 DFU(Decoding Function Unit)의 연산 복잡도와 하드웨어 복잡도를 효율적으로 감소시킬 수 있도록 최소합 알고리듬과 블록직렬 방식의 layered 구조를 적용하였다. 또한 효율적인 다중 블록길이의 구현을 위해 PCM 값을 저장하는 H-ROM의 최적화 방법을 제안하였으며, 이를 통해 ROM의 크기를 약 42% 감소시켰다. 또한, 레이어 간의 효율적인 메모리 읽기/쓰기 방법을 적용하여 복호기 동작을 최적화시켰다.

A Study of Magnetic Field Annealing on Microstructures and Magnetic Properties of Nanocomposite Sm-Co/Co Films

  • A magnetic field annealing is firstly used for nanostructured Sm-Co/Co films, prepared by magnetron sputtering method. The effects of magnetic field annealing on single-layered Sm-Co films are different from those on multi-layered Sm-Co/Co films. A detailed analysis of microstructures and magnetic properties is made by means of HRTEM, Auger electron spectroscopy, XRD and Physical Property Measurement System (PPMS). From magnetic properties and microstructure analysis, it was confirmed that these differences originate from the effects of magnetic field annealing on crystallization behavior of the films. The relationship between magnetic properties and microstructures explains a different demagnetization process of single-layered and multilayered films. For the single-layered Sm-Co films, magnetic-field-annealing makes the main phases change from $CaCu_5/ to Zn_2Th_{17}$ structure, resulting in a decrease of coercivity. The results show that the magnetic-field-annealing is useful to improve the properties of nanostructured Sm-Co(30 nm)/Co(10 nm) films, which ascribe to improving the pinning effectiveness in coercivity mechanism and decreasing the magnetostatic interaction of films. A very high coercivity about 0.7 T was obtained from nanoscaled multi-layered Sm-Co(30 nm)-/Co(10 nm) films.

  • 본 논문에서는 무한요소를 이용한 지반-구조물 상호작용 해석에 대하여 연구하였다. 적층지반(Layered Soil)과 같이 여러 가지 응력파가 동시에 전파되는 탄성지반의 외부영역을 효과적으로 모형화할 수 있는 동적무한요소를 개발하였으며, 요소행렬 구성시 수반되는 무한대 방향으로의 적분을 효과적으로 수행하기 위하여 Gauss-Laguerre 적분방법을 기초로 하여 새로이 고안된 적분방법을 제시하였다. 이 방법의 타당성은 반무한 탄성지반과 적층된 반무한 탄성지반 위에 놓여 있는 원형강판의 임피던스(Impedance) 함수를 구하여 해석적으로 구한 값들과 비교함으로써 검토하였다.

  • Reaction Bonded Silicon Carbide(RBSC) has been used for engineering ceramics due to low-temperature fabrication and near-net shape products with excellent structural properties such as thermal shock resistance, corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. Recently, attempts have been made to develop hot gas filter with gradient pore structure by RBSC to overcome weakness of commercial clay-bonded SiC filter such as low fracture toughness and low reliability. In this study a fabrication process of porous RBSC with multi-layer pore structure with gradient pore size was developed. The support layer of the RBSC with multi-layer pore structure was fabricated by conventional Si infiltration process. The intermediate and filter layers consisted of phenolic resin and fine SiC powder were prepared by dip-coating of the support RBSC in slurry of SiC and phenol resin. The temperature of $1550^{\circ}C$ to make Si left in RBSC support layer infiltrate into dip-coated layer to produce SiC by reacting with pyro-carbon from phenol resin.

  • n 개의 균일한 결합선로를 해석하기 위하여 2n-port 어드미턴스 매트릭스의 추출에 기초한 일반적인 특성화 절차가 제시된다. 본 논문에서는 비대칭 다중 결합선로를 해석하기 위하여 시간영역의 유한차분법을 사용하여 정규화 모드 파라미터 접근법의 적용을 제안한다. 주파수 의존적인 정규화 모드 파라미터는 2n-port 어드미턴스 매트릭스로부터 얻어지고, 이로부터 주파수 의존적인 전파상수와 유효 유전율 및 결합선로의 특성임피던스를 계산할 수 있다. 이 기법을 설명하기 위해 몇몇의 실질적인 다중 유전체상의 결합선로 구조들이 모의 실험되었으며, 특히 전도체가 유전체 사이에 내재된 형태의 선로가 해석되었다. 시간영역 유한 차분법을 활용한 결과는 Spectral Domain Method의 모의실험 결과와 비교하였고, 잘 일치함을 보였다. 시간영역의 특성화 절차에 기인한 유한차분법은 얇거나 두꺼운 혼성 구조 뿐 아니라 다층 PCB상의 다중의 전도체 결합 선로 설계를 위한 훌륭한 광대역 모의실험 도구가 됨을 볼 수 있다.

  • In this paper, We have designed an internal chip type-ceramic antenna and diplexer for dual-band handset applications. for increasing bandwidth, antennas used a meander line structure with L, C matching network. The designed diplexer is based on the multi-layered structure for the purpose of the LTCC applications. We have given a notch using resonator for elevated attenuation characteristics.

  • A hierarchical neural network structure is described for robot PTP trajectory planning. In the first level, the multi-layered Perceptron neural network is used for the inverse kinematics with the back-propagation learning procedure. In the second level, a saccade generation model based joint trajectory planning model in proposed and analyzed with several features. Various simulations are performed to investigate the characteristics of the proposed neural networks.

Effects of Composition, Structure Design, and Coating Thickness of Thermal Barrier Coatings on Thermal Barrier Performance

  • The effects of composition, structure design, and coating thickness of thermal barrier coating (TBC) on thermal barrier performance were investigated by measuring the temperature differences of TBC samples. TBCs with the thin and thick top coats were used for these studies, including TBCs with rare-earth (Gd, Yb, and La) compositions. The thermal barrier performance was enhanced with increasing the thickness of top coat even for thin TBCs, indicating that the thermal barrier performance was commensurate to the thickness of top coat. On the other hand, the bi-layered TBC, which was prepared with Yb-Gd-YSZ feedstock powder, with the buffer layer of high purity 8YSZ showed a better thermal barrier performance than that of regular purity 8YSZ. The interfaces in the bi-layered TBCs had a decisive effect on the thermal barrier performance, showing the performance enhanced with increasing numbers of interfaces. However, a new structural design and an additional process should be considered to reduce stress concentrations and to ensure interface stability, respectively, for improving thermal durability in the multi-layered TBCs.
