Two experiments were conducted to investigate the effect of feeding Monascus Purpures(MP) on the growth performance of broiler chicks and egg qualify in laying hens. In Expt 1, MP were supplemented with 0. 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 4.0% in basal diets. Weight gain, feed intake, feed conversion were examined for five weeks and blood cholesterol, protein were measured at the end of experiment. In Expt 2, diets supplemented with 0, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0% MP were fed for two weeks. Egg qualify and yolk cholesterol were weekly measured. In Expt 1, Basal diets containing CP 21.5, 19%, ME 3,100, 3,200 kcal/kg were fed ad libitum for starting and finsihing period, repectively. In Expt 2, hens diet contained CP 16%, ME 2,800 kca1/kg and fed for two weeks. In Expt 1, weight gain of birds fed 2.0% MP was maximized at five weeks of age. Feed efficiency was not statistically different, but tended to improve in 1.0, 2.0% MP supplemental groups compared with control. Total serum cholesterol tended to be lower in 2.0% MP supplemental group but was not statistically different. In Expt 2, albumen height and Haugh unit of birds fed 1.0 and 2.0% MP were higher than other treatments, but was not statistically different. Yolk cholesterol of hens fed MP diets showed no significance.

A Korean MP3player also has become complex multimedia device which can provide various functions such as DMB, image playback, radio, electronic dictionary, storage device, and Internet. However, these functions are not provided through one-time mediation. Therefore, studying which changes were made for obtaining or installing these functions and what made such changes possible will be a basis to approach the change factors of medium through medium. Ultimately, by enabling to access the factors of cultural and social changes through MP3player, the main point of this study, it will be a methodological attempt to study a social aspect through medium. This study approached re-mediation according to the genealogical change of MP3player. This study researched the change of media through mediation of MP3player, and approached the change in social contextuality through this. The factors for which a medium is changed are various, but in the change of MP3 player there is re-mediation of each medium in addition to technical change. That is, it is deemed that there are 're-mediation among devices' and 'socially contextual re-mediation' in the change through re-mediation of MP3player.

Barley yellow dwarf virus (BYDV) belongs to Luteovirus and is limited only at phloem related tissues. An open reading frame (ORF) 4 of BYDV codes for the movement protein (MP) of BYDV gating plasmodesmata (PD) to facilitate virus movement. Like other Luteoviruses, ORF 4 of BYDV is embedded in the ORF3 but expressed from the different reading frame in leaky scanning manner. Although MP is a very important protein for systemic infection of BYDV, there was a little information. In this study, MP was characterized in terms of subcellular localization and programmed cell death (PCD). Gene of MP or its mutant (ΔMP) was expressed by Agroinfiltration method. MP was clearly localized at the nucleus and the PD, but ΔMP which was deleted distal N-terminus of MP showed no localization to PD exhibited the different target with original MP. In addition to PD localization, MP appeared associated with small granules in cytoplasm whereas ΔMP did not. MP associated with PD and small granules induced PCD, but ΔMP showed no association with PD and small granules did not exhibit PCD. Based on this study, the distal N-terminal region within MP is seemingly responsible for the localization of PD and the induction small granules and PCD induction. These results suggest that subcellular localization of BYDV MP may modulate the PCD in Nicotiana benthamiana.

CoMP(Coordinated Multi-Point transmission and reception) refers to a cooperative transmission strategy to control the interference from adjacent base stations in cellular mobile communication systems, which efficiently enhances the data throughput of the systems. As the number of the base stations participating in cooperative transmission increases, however, a larger amount of information exchange to carry the CSI(Channel State Information) of the mobile terminals is required. In this paper, we propose a partial CoMP transmission method for systems under the constraint of finite feedback information data. This method selects candidates of base stations which can provide high efficiency gain when they participate in the CoMP set. To achieve this, the cooperative base station combination is constructed by considering the preferred base stations of users. The cooperative base station combinations are dynamically applied since the preferred base station combinations of users may be different. We perform computer simulations to compare performance of the non-CoMP, full-CoMP and partial CoMP in terms of the average throughput using finite feedback and demonstrate the performance improvement of the proposed method.

In this paper, we have analyzed the effects of the interference from HAPS airship stations to P-MP FWA base station and to P-MP FWA terminal station, using more detail parameters such as a new interference model, a realistic HAPS scenario, practical antenna patterns for both HAPS system and FWA system. The analysis results show that, in the case of interference from HAPS AS into the P-MP FWA BS, compatibility between two systems can be obtained by using a sectored BS antenna with the boresight directed away from the nadir. However, in the case of Interference from HAPS AS into the P-MP FWA TS, the two systems cannot operate effectively in the same bands unless the separation distance is guranteed and/or some form of interference mitigation technique is employed such as dynamic channel allocation.

The purpose of this research is to develop a design model of a smart jacket incorporating MP3 functionality for commercial use, as one of the digital lines of textile to apply If technology. In order to conduct this study, the previous studies were analyzed and usability and wearability tests were conducted using five prototype design models of smart wear with MP3 functionality. Accordingly, the smart jacket incorporating MP3 functionality for commercial use, for which user-centered interface, usability and wearability were completed, was developed by optimizing the design and location of the input interface, control module, the path of wires and earphone etc., based on textile wire and keypad. The smart jacket targets the female dress market from late-teens to early twenties. It will be a high value commodity considers all aspects of recent fashion trends, consumers' emotional satisfaction and the value of digital wear.

Shared Memory Multiprocessor (SMP) systems adopting Chip-level MultiThreading (CMT) technology are becoming mainstream servers in commercial applications and High Performance Computining (HPC) applications as well. OpenMP has become the standard paradigm to parallelize applications for SMP mostly because of its ease of use. As the demand for more computing power in HPC applications is growing rapidly, obtaining high performance and scalability for these applications parallelized using OpenMP API's will become more important. In this paper, we study the performance and scalability of HPC applications parallelized using OpenMP, SPEC OMPL (standard OpenMP benchmark suite), on the Sun Fire E25K server which adopts CMT technology. We also study the effect of CMT on SPEC OMPL.

SMP 클러스터가 고성능 계산을 위한 플랫폼으로 등장함에 따라, 이 시스템을 활용하기 위한 프로그래밍 환경에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 이 논문에서 우리는 ParADE라고 부르는 쉽고, 이식성이 높으며. 고성능의 프로그래밍이 가능한 새로운 프로그래밍 환경을 소개한다. ParADE는 OpenMP 프로그래밍 환경으로 HLRC 변종 프로토콜을 구현한 다중 쓰레드 DSM 시스템을 기반으로 하고 있다. 특별히. 이 논문에서는 성능 개선을 위한 OpenMP 변환기의 역할에 중점을 둔다. OpenMP 변화기는 OpenMP 프로그램 모델과 실행 시스템의 수행 모델 사이에서 가교 역할을 한다. 특히, OpenMP 변환기는 동기화 디렉티브를 변환하고 임계 영역에 있는 작은 변수의 메모리 일관성을 유지하기 위해 집합 통신 함수를 활용한다. 동기화 디렉티브 성능 측정을 위한 마이크로벤치마크 프로그램을 통한 실험에서 ParADE 시스템은 기존의 DSM 시스템에 비해 우수한 성능을 보였다.

This work describes identification of essential considerations when we develop OMS/MP for the shipboard weapon systems. It is compulsory to develop OMS/MP which describes quantity of what mode to have and how often to operate. In this point of view, relationships between OMS/MP and shipboard weapon systems are analyzed. From the analysis, considerations of OMS/MP development for the weapon systems are presented.

MP3는 현재 디지털 오디오 압축 표준으로 널리 사용되고 있으며 12:1의 높은 압축률을 가진다. MP3 encoding의 경우 현재는 대부분 PC를 이용하고 있으므로 MP3 encoding과 decoding을 동시에 할 수 있는 칩이 나오면 이러한 불편함 없이 portable이 가능해지며 라디오, CD, 카세트 테이프 등으로부터 고음질 녹음 후 재생이 가능해진다. TMS320C30과 호환되는 DSP 코어를 이용하였으며 MP3 엔코딩과 디코딩 실시간 수행을 위하여 알고리즘 개선과 FFT block, 주변 interface block을 설계하였다. 최종적으로 MP3 encoder와 decoder 칩 설계하고 이를 하드웨어 에뮬레이션을 이용하여 검증하였다.
