  • To analyze dynamic characterics for a motorcar, the creating and the hammering test methods are introduced. This paper has studied the method of computing the natural frequency of the impulse wave on a tire, the decay constant which determines the absorption capability for the impulsive force. Moreover we have examined the reliability for the decay constant calculated, in this paper theoritical results are agreed with the simulated ones.

  • The parameter optimization for agile beam radar tracking is addressed to minimize the radar resources that are required to maintain a target under track. The parameters to be optimized include the track-revisit interval and the sequence of pairs of target signal strengths and detection thresholds associated with repeated illumination attempts in each track-revisit. The optimization problem is solved numerically for typical examples.

  • Design for automatic coupler system of Korean Tilting Train eXpress is described. In order to carry out validation & verification activities for system design, test condition is taken into account at collision speed of 10km/h, which is required in Safety Notice for rolling stock vehicle. The study aims at safety validation between a coupler and car body including design verification for a coupler through the identifying of system design and the evaluating of test results.

  • Generally, the Black Matrix of CRT is formed by the application of photoresist and black material separately. We have developed the simple process for black matrix of CRT. We used the black photoresist, It made it possible that the formation of Black Matrix by application of the light exposure and development only once.

  • Presented are closed-form expressions of the three-state exponentially correlated acceleration (ECA) target-tracking filter. The steady-state solution is derived based on Vaughan's approach for the case that he measurements of target position and velocity are available at discrete point in time. The solution for ECA tracking filter using only position measurements and the solution for the constant acceleration (CA) tracking filter are obtained as a special case of the presented results.
