  • In this paper, we present two types of vision algorithm that mobile robot has CCD camera. for obstacle avoidance and path plan. One is simple algorithm that compare with grey level from input images. Also, The mobile robot depend on image processing and move command from PC host. we has been studied self controlled mobile robot system with CCD camera. This system consists of TMS320F240 digital signal processor, step motor, RF module and CCD camera. we used wireless RF module for movable command transmitting between robot and host PC. This robot go straight until 95 percent filled screen from input image. And the robot recognizes obstacle about 95 percent filled something, so it could avoid the obstacle and conclude new path plan. Another is complex algorithm that image preprocessing by edge detection, converting, thresholding and image processing by labeling, segmentation, pixel density calculation.

  • The objective of this study is to satisfy requirements for a variety of terminals to play wired web page contents in ubiquitous environment constantly connected to network. In other words, this study intended to automatically transcode wired web page into mobile web page in order to receive service by using mobile base to carry contents in Internet web page. To achieve this objective, we suggest the method that is to directly enter URL of web page in mobile device and to check contents of the current web page. For this, web page is converted into an image and configured into a mobile web page suitable for personal terminals. Users can obtain the effect of having web services provided by using computer with interfaces to expand, reduce and move the web page as desired. This is a caret unit play method, with which contents of web page are transcoded and played to suit each user According to the method proposed in this study, contents of wired web page can be played by using a mobile device. This study confirms that a single content can be serviced to suit users of various terminals. Through this, it will be able to reuse numerous wired web contents as mobile web contents.

  • The main stream of existing game market was console and PC-based games. In these days mobile game industry extends its boundary according to the advance of mobile device capability. Especially, smart phones, known as computers in hands, accelerate the expansion of mobile game market. This paper analyzes the characteristics and the current status of mobile game market. Based on this analysis, future directions for mobile game market are given.

  • Recently the range of mobile phone's usage has become more widely since phone has the function of data communication and voice communication. In addition, the request of users who wish to represent their identity on their mobile phones by storing some kinds of multimedia data such as images and melody has increased. There are two different methods for downloading the multimedia data; one method accesses a wireless internet server to download the data and another method downloads the data from PC directly. While the first one requires extra fee for downloading the data, the second method has weakness to modify the original data and it cannot be used in GSM phone yet since it is developed for CDMA phone. In this paper, we introduce a PC-based download application system that enables the users to download multimedia data from PC to GSM phone very easily.

  • Macro(automatic hunting) of mobile game is a program that touch the screen by defined rules like a game bot in PC online games, and it is used by make various ways like android application or windows application program. This gives honest users deprivation and make to lose their interest. Finally they would leave the game and gradually game life would be shorten. Although many studies to prevent these problems in PC online game are conducted, applying mobile game to PC's way is difficult because mobile games are limited to use the network and device performance is different with PC. In this paper, we propose a framework for macro detection by using the touch event information. A touch event on the mobile game is a necessary control command to the game. Because macro touches the screen with the same pattern, there is a difference between normal user's behavior and macro's operation. In mobile games that casual games are mostly, Touch event is the best difference that identify normal user against macro for a short period of time. As a result of detecting macros used in real mobile game by using the proposed framework it showed 100% accuracy and 0% false positive rate.

  • In this paper, we implemented the monitoring and control of geothermal heating and cooling system using mobile devices. The main idea of this system is to provide the convenience if the system can be controled in remote place with monitoring using the mobile devices like PDA. Basically, the system consists of the Server-Client structure divided into two parts, one is PDA and PC, the other is PC and PLC(Programmable Logic Controller). The PDA, which is equipped with Windows CE as as, monitors the status of the devices (motors and sensors, etc) attached to PLC and controls them. This does the system to be controled by the commands, which we assume to control, with wireless transmission between PC and PLC. The PDA parts are responsible for monitoring and control the devices connected to the PLC, and the PC part which equipped with the application is to provide the relation between PDA and PLC.   • Mobile computers can process large amounts of data at high speeds, and it is feasible and easy to implement a remote monitoring system utilizing mobile computers. Because of their portability and convenience, these computers have been employed in various research areas to develop such monitoring systems. Existing monitoring system is a bit difficult to real time monitoring the scattered offshore facilities. So this paper compensate the existing system by using mobile computers such as a tablet PC-based monitoring system. Also, the scattered offshore facilities can be monitored in real-time through the tablet PC. The developed monitoring system is a fully Internet-based monitoring platform that enables one to monitor and control remote oceanic applications at any time and any place where it is possible to access the Internet. It can be applied to many oceanic applications as well as the unmanned systems and remote monitoring systems on land.

  • In mobile browser two mental models coexist; one for mobile users and the other for PC users. In this research shows that users apply these two mental models simultaneously while they use mobile browsers. However cases where these two mental models conflict with each other, rapid deterioration of usability of the UX based on the mobile user's mental model was evident. Also usability of mobile user interfaces for use cases like "View Mode" or "Copy and Send Mode" were also poor, and the research shows that these "Modes" could be substituted by gesture interaction with which users were already familiar.

  • The next generation of 3D mobile games market is becoming increasingly active, more as a result of improvement in the CPU speed of hardware phone, embarkation of 3D engines and high memory capacity, In response to this trend, popular 3D games of PS2 (PlayStation2) and popular online games are being launched as mobile games. However, mobile units have different hardware characteristics compared to those of other platforms such as the PC or the game console. Therefore, mobile game versions of the popular PC games face many limitations in many aspects such as in battery capacity, size of display, capacity of the game, and other user interface issues. Among these many limitations, study for allowing low capacity storage of the game is becoming important. In addition, realistic animation of the 3D character on the small screen of the mobile unit is more important than any other matter. The purpose of this study is to find a solution to providing realistic 3D character animation, and for decreasing the storage capacity of character animation for application in 3D mobile games.
