  • 일반 콘텐츠 저작에 비해 데이터방송용 콘텐츠 저작은 방송만의 특성에 맞도록 기획, 구성되어야 하고, 제약 요소들을 고려해야 함 등으로 많은 비용을 필요로 한다. 저작의 효율성을 위해 일차적으로 고려할 수 있는 기존의 저작도구는 데이터방송을 위한 체계적이고 효율적인 제작 환경에는 적합치 않기에, 본격적인 데이터방송의 전개를 위해서는 데이터방송의 저작 환경에 적합한 전문적인 저작도구가 필요하다. 본 연구는 국내 방송 환경에 적합하도록, 표준화규격(DVB-MHP(Multimedia Home Platform)와 ATSC-DASE(Digital TV Application Softwa.e Envoronment))에 부합하는, 데이터방송용 콘텐츠 저작도구를 개발하는 것이다.

  • 최근 ATSC DASE 기반의 지상파 데이터방송 실험방송의 성공적인 수행 및 DVB MHP 기반의 위성 데이터 방송에 대한 일반인의 관심이 급속히 증대되고 있는 반면, 매체간 규격이 상이한 관계로 데이터방송 콘텐츠의 메체간 재전송 및 콘텐츠의 재사용에는 어려움이 예상되고 있다. 이에 매체간 호환성을 확보하기 위한 노력으로 공통 규격을 만들려는 Harmonization 활동이 본격적으로 이루어지고 있다. 따라서 본 고에서는 최근의 데이터방송 표준화 동향을 살펴보고 현재 진행중인 Harmonization 현황과 향후 전망을 살펴본다.

  • Impact of Automotive GMT(Glassfiber reinforced Mat Thermoplastic) Bumper for '5Mhp Barrier Test'was simulated using ls-dyna. The FE model consists of foam which is energy absorber, bumper beam and stay etc. Bumper intrusion and deflection was compared with the experimental results. Effects of uncertainty of material property and deviation of impact velocity were considered and results were compared with those of base design. Effects of number of integration points through th thickness was also investigated.

  • 현재 인터랙티브 서비스는 MHP와 같은 표준 스펙에서 다양하게 제안되어 시도되고 있으나, 모두 종단간 프로토콜이며, 네트워크 차원에서의 효율적인 서비스 지원을 위한 연구는 찾아보기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 인터랙티브 서비스와 개인화 서비스를 네트워크 차원에서 지원하기 위하여, OPES 기반의 인터랙티브 방송 네트워크 구조를 제안하였다.

  • 우리 주변에는 다양한 디지털 기기가 있고 그 기기를 통해 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 얻는 것은 쉬운 일이다. 최근 디지털 기기에서 미디어의 제어는 필수가 되었다. 이 논문에서는 ETRI 에서 진행하고있는 하드웨어 디코더를 사용하는 DVB-MHP 셋탑박스 개발에서 미디어 제어를 위한 JMF의 구현을 다룬다. 이 구현을 통해 다양한 디지털 기기에서 미디어 제어를 위해 사용할 수 있는 간단한 Framework을 구성하고자 한다.

Hybrid-clustering game Algorithm for Resource Allocation in Macro-Femto HetNet

  • The heterogeneous network (HetNet) has been one of the key technologies in Long Term Evolution-Advanced (LTE-A) with growing capacity and coverage demands. However, the introduction of femtocells has brought serious co-layer interference and cross-layer interference, which has been a major factor affecting system throughput. It is generally acknowledged that the resource allocation has significant impact on suppressing interference and improving the system performance. In this paper, we propose a hybrid-clustering algorithm based on the $Mat{\acute{e}}rn$ hard-core process (MHP) to restrain two kinds of co-channel interference in the HetNet. As the impracticality of the hexagonal grid model and the homogeneous Poisson point process model whose points distribute completely randomly to establish the system model. The HetNet model based on the MHP is adopted to satisfy the negative correlation distribution of base stations in this paper. Base on the system model, the spectrum sharing problem with restricted spectrum resources is further analyzed. On the basis of location information and the interference relation of base stations, a hybrid clustering method, which takes into accounts the fairness of two types of base stations is firstly proposed. Then, auction mechanism is discussed to achieve the spectrum sharing inside each cluster, avoiding the spectrum resource waste. Through combining the clustering theory and auction mechanism, the proposed novel algorithm can be applied to restrain the cross-layer interference and co-layer interference of HetNet, which has a high density of base stations. Simulation results show that spectral efficiency and system throughput increase to a certain degree.

  • According to a statistical survey, despite the continuous improvement of the economic level, the participation rate of donations is decreasing. As a cause of this phenomenon, the problem of reliability of donation organizations is a big part. In order to increase viewers' intention to donate, this study developed a donation campaign linked data service that shows information that can increase the credibility of donation organizations and storytelling of donation recipients. Specifically, a user scenario of a data service that is properly operated in conjunction with a donation campaign that is broadcast shortly was defined, and a user interface was designed by reflecting the characteristics of the TV platform. In addition, a prototype based on the DVB-MHP standard was developed to analyze the effect of the data service utilization on viewers' intention to donate.

  • Although the increase in number of the programs provides rich entertainment to viewers, it also has caused a negative of making it hard for viewers to find out their favorite programs. To address the problem, several researches have been performed mainly focusing on the technologies to analyze a viewer's TV watching-patterns and to recommend a program (or a channel) based on the analysis when a viewer changes channels. The researches, however, have the trouble of frequently failing to choose proper programs because, in the real-world broadcasting circumstance, the programs are re-broadcast over a number of the channels and a set of programs of a genre are usually playing in the overlapped times. To avoid the trouble, the data service, proposed in the paper, allows a viewer to book "explicitly" his/her favorite programs and provides a set of functions of listing up the booked program's broadcasting schedules and reserving viewing or recording the booked programs.

A Data Service of Digital Broadcasting for Program-Guiding using Multi-View Video (멀티 뷰 영상을 활용한 디지털방송의 프로그램가이드 데이터서비스)

  • Currently, numerous (broadcasting) programs are being provided to viewers, which makes it hard for viewers to select a program to watch. Especially, surfing channels watching the program videos (which is the most general manner of searching a program) became a time consuming task of performing several tens of channel changes (a channel change takes about 0.7 second). In the paper, a data service for guiding programs using the multi-view of program videos is proposed. The data service allows viewers to navigate all program videos without channel changes. To implement the data service, a method for composing and transmitting multi-view videos with the meta data for handling each video of the multi-view has been devised and a Java API has been implemented to clip, resize, and display parts of the multi-view videos.

A study on Data Service for Travel Programs based on the Broadcasting Environment of Domestic Satellite Broadcaster (국내 위성방송사의 방송 환경을 기반한 여행 프로그램 데이터서비스에 관한 연구)

  • Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the broadcasting industry has been greatly affected, to the extent that the footprint of travel programs has disappeared. Although travel programs have been back on the air since 2022, there remains a task of recovering the stagnant desire for travel. Based on a study that travel programs have a positive impact on viewers' travel intentions, this study examined a data service that provides preferred additional information on travel programs, considering the broadcasting environment of satellite broadcasters that transmit multiple travel programs through various channels. Specifically, preferred additional information was investigated for travel programs of various genres and formats, and a feature model based on FODA was designed to be used when the satellite broadcaster decides the data service configuration. In addition, the necessary information for operating the data service was defined based on the feature model, and a method of transmitting it using the DVB-S SI, a domestic satellite broadcasting standard, was devised. The feasibility of this study was also confirmed using a DVB-MHP based data service prototype.
