NiMH battery charge/discharge test considering C-rate (C-rate를 고려한 NiMH 배터리 충·방전 특성실험)

  • 본 논문은 전류에 따른 NiMH 배터리의 성능 변화를 충 방전 실험을 통하여 비교 분석하였다. 따라서 실험을 통하여 NiMH 배터리의 데이터시트에 있는 충 방전 특성곡선과 실제 실험을 통한 충 방전 특성곡선을 비교 분석한다. 또한 충 방전 전류의 크기에 따라 변하는 특성곡선의 차이를 비교 분석한다. 전류 변화에 의한 배터리 분석을 위해 0.2C, 0.5C, 1C, 2C 정전류 충 방전 실험과 동일한 C-rate로 펄스전류로 충 방전 실험을 하였다. 실험을 통해서 얻은 데이터로 1차 Randles 등가회로를 통해 C-rate변화와 잔존용량 변화에 의한 파라미터 분석과 잔존용량-개로전압 곡선에서의 충 방전 히스테리시스를 알아보았다.

Experiment and Implementation of NiMH Battery Model for Autonomie Environment (Autonomie에 적용 가능한 NiMH 배터리 모델 실험 및 구현)

  • This paper proposes a battery model applicable to Autonomie environment. Also, a various of experiment is implemented for validation. The proposed battery model modifies Randles equivalent circuit and battery parameters are extracted from pulsed current tests. The parameters are two-dimensional function of current and SOC(State of Charge). The battery model is developed in the Matlab/Simulink and is implemented for NiMH Panasonic HHR650D and compared with pulsed current discharge curves. The simulation results validate the accuracy of the proposed model and the model is also tested by adding it on Autonomie for HEV application. Constant current charge/discharge, pulsed current test that can be used to extract battery parameter are performed and test results are used to build up the proposed battery model for Autonomie.

Hydrogen Supplying System using Metal Hydride (금속 수소화물을 이용한 수소공급시스템)

  • To find out the optimum design of hydrogen storage and supply tank using Metal Hydride (briefly MH) and to make clear the performance characteristics under various conditions are our research purpose. In order to use the low-temperature exhaust heat, $LaNi_{4.7}Al_{0.3}$ which operates under the low pressure of 1 MPa is chosen, and we measure the basic properties, namely density, specific heat, PCT(Pressure-Concentration-Temperature) characteristics, and effective thermal conductivity. Then, a numerical calculation model of hydrogen storage using MH alloy is suggested and this thermal diffusion equation of model is solved by the backward difference method. This calculation results are compared with the experimental results of the systems which installed 1kg MH alloy and, it is found out that our calculation model can well predict the experimental results. By the experimental using MH alloy, it is recognized that the hydrogen flow rate can control by the step adjustment of brine temperature.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of housing units assembled as complexes on residential satisfaction. Two analyses were performed to examine residential satisfaction of Multi-Family Housing Blocks (MFHB; complex) and Multi-Household Housing (MH; non-complex). The residents from both housing types were surveyed on nine categories of questions regarding residential satisfaction and one on overall satisfaction from their experiences. First, the t-test results between MFHB and MH suggest that MFHB has insufficient effect in terms of improvement over MH, as their satisfaction differences are either insignificant or uncontrollable. Second, the common factors affecting Overall Satisfaction of MFHB and MH are Maintenance and Residential Environments.

  • This paper proposes the hybrid fuel cell system that can solve disadvantages of existing fuel cell system and ensure high reliability and high stability. The system consists of PEM fuel cell, Ni-MH battery and power management system. In this system, when the power provided from the fuel cell is higher than the load power, the extra energy may be used to charge the Ni-MH battery. When the fuel cell can not provide enough energy to the load, the shortage of energy will be supplied by the Ni-MH battery. Experimental results show that the output voltage is regulated well during load variations. Also, high system efficiency is achieved.

  • 셀룰러 기반의 이동 컴퓨팅환경에서는 이동 호스트(MH)의 위치와 상태관리를 위하여 디폴트 서버기법이 널리 사용되는데, 이동 호스트로 전송되는 데이터는 먼저 디폴트 서버에 문의하여 해당 삠 가 위치하는 로컬 서버로 전송된다. 디폴트 서버기법에 기반을 둔 SDN(single Default Notification)기법에서는 클라이언트가 MH 와의 연결요청을 하면 쿼리 서버를 통해 해당 디폴트 서버에 MH의 위치 및 상태를 문의한 후 통신이 이루어진다. 그러나 쿼리횟수가 많고 디폴트 서버와의 거리가 멀거나 기지국외 수가 많을 경우 디폴트 서버와의 통신 오버헤드가 커지며, 디폴트 서버에 결함이 발생할 경우 해당 MH 와의 연결이 불가능해진다. 디폴트 서버를 여러 개로 중복 시킬 경우 위와 같은 문제점을 경감시키고 디폴트 서버와의 통신 비용을 줄일 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 통신 환경에 따른 디폴트 서버의 최적의 중복 개수와 중복 위치를 구하는 방법을 제시하였고, 시뮬레이션을 통하여 수학적 방법이 유용함을 보였다.

  • WCDMA서비스가 본격적으로 활성화됨에 따라 WCDMA와 WLAN을 동시에 연결할 수 있는 단말들의 출시도 늘어나고 있다. Multi-home은 Transport Layer에서 이러한 연동을 지원하게 해주는 기능이다. 본 논문에서는 Multi-home을 지원하는 TCP-MH와 SCTP 프로토콜을 WCDMA-WLAN 연동 시나리오에 적용시켜 분석하였다. SCTP는 TCP-MH에 비해 폭넓은 활용도를 보여주었다.
