H.264 is the most recent video coding standard, containing improved error resilience tools than previous video compression schemes. This paper shows an analysis of the dependency of error concealment (EC) performance on the expected number of correctly received neighboring macroblock(MB)s for a lost MB, applying error concealment schemes to the raster scan mode that is used in the previous video coding standard and the flexible macroblock ordering (FMO) which is one of error-resilience tools in H.264. We also present simulation results and performance evaluation with various packet loss rates. Simulation results show that the FMO mode provides better EC performances of $1{\sim}9dB$ PSNR improvements compared to the raster scan mode because of larger expected number of correctly received neighboring MBs. The PSNR improvement by FMO mode becomes higher as the intra-frame period is larger and the packet loss rate is higher.

As the demands for traditional Korean housing has been increased in recent years, modernized Korean traditional housing (Hanok) was developed as a way of providing Hanok for the public. Modernized Hanok attempts to remedy the shortcomings of the traditional hanok (i.e., high unit cost of building and low energy performance). In the previous researches, standardization and productivity improvement for modernized Hanok dissemination have been intensely developed. Above all, cost estimating for modernized Hanok is also an important factor. In an effort to provide effective system for Hanok construction, this paper developed 'standard cost data' for modernized Hanok. Distinct characteristic of modernized Hanok construction were analyzed first. Then, basic structure was identified, and major items were selected for Hanok standard cost data. However, this set of cost data was developed based on two mock-up Hanok projects actually constructed. Accordingly, this standard cost data will be further updated and modified by continuously accumulating real-world Hanok projects

There are channel errors when video data are transmitted between encoder and decoder. These channel errors would make decoded image incorrect, so it is very important to detect and recover channel errors. This paper proposes a method of error detection and recovery by hiding specific information into video bitstream using fragile watermark and checking it later. The proposed method requires no additional bits into compressed bitstream since it embeds a user-specific data pattern in the least significant bits of LEVELs in VLC codewords. The decoder can extract the information to check whether the received bitstream has an error or not. We also propose to use this method to embed essential data such as motion vectors that can be used for error recovery. The proposed method can detect corrupted MBs that usually escape the conventional syntax-based error detection scheme. This proposed method is quite simple and of low complexity. So the method can be applied to multimedia communication system in low bitrate wireless channel.

In the 3GPP LTE and IEEE 802.16m standardizations for IMT-Advanced, the efficient transmission of multicast and broadcast data is one of the important issues to improve system performance. Especially, to guarantee each user's QoS in the multicast group, H-ARQ or adaptive modulation are considered to be adoption, however, reduction of feedback overhead is one of the most important issues. In this paper, performance of the previously proposed OOK (On-Off Keying) based common ACK/NACK feedback channel is analyzed through theoretical analysis and simulation. Based on the results, system parameter optimization methods for common feedback channel are proposed. In addition, through computer simulation, it is shown that the common feedback method according to the proposed feedback parameter optimization can feedback ACK/NACK information for multicast H-ARQ transmission, more reliably than the conventional user dedicated feedback method in 3GPP LTE systems, and can reduce the feedback overhead as well.

White breads containing Korean blue mussel (Mytilus edulis) powder were prepared and characterized. WB (white bread without blue mussel) and four different MBs (white breads containing blue mussel; number in front of MB means added % of blue mussel powder per wheat flour) were prepared by the straight dough method. With addition of blue mussel to bread, lightness decreased, whereas redness and yellowness increased. Addition of blue mussel did not significantly affect specific volumes of breads. DPPH and ABTS radical scavenging activities significantly increased with increasing blue mussel content. Addition of blue mussel to breads also increased alcohol dehydrogenase and acetaldehyde dehydrogenase activities. In the sensory test, 1MB acquired relatively high points for taste, flavor, texture, and preference. The results indicate that blue mussel can be applied to white bread to improve physiological functions without reduction of physicochemical characteristics.
The recent performance of residential mortgages demonstrated how default risk operated separately from prepayment risk. In this study, we investigated the determinants of the borrowers' decisions pertaining to early termination through default from the mortgage performance data released by Freddie Mac, involving securitized mortgage loans from January 2011 to September 2013. We estimated a Cox-type, proportional hazard model with a single risk on fundamental factors associated with default options for individual mortgages. We proposed a mortgage default model that included two specifications of delinquency: one using a delinquency binary variable, while the other using a delinquency probability. We also compared the results obtained from two specifications with respect to goodness-of-fit proposed in the spirit of Vuong (1989) in both overlapping and nested models' cases. We found that a model with our proposed delinquency probability variable showed a statistically significant advantage compared to a benchmark model with delinquency dummy variables. We performed a default prediction power test based on the method proposed in Shumway (2001), and found a much stronger performance from the proposed model.

This study was conducted to investigate effects of farm, type of sow Landrace${\times}$Yorkshire, LY; Yorkshire${\times}$ Landrace, YL; Yorkshire${\times}$Yorkshire, YY and multi-cross bred sow, MBS), parity, farrowing year, farrowing season and mating method on reproductive traits such as total number born per litter, number of born alive per litter, number of weaned per litter, number of mummified per litter, number of stillbirth. The Reproductive Records of 3,387 litters from January, 1999 to September, 2002 were obtained from four pig farms managed by Electronic Data Processing(EDP) system. Reproductive performances for two types of F1 Sows(YL and LY) were estimated as 11.34${\pm}$0.266 and 11.57${\pm}$0.263 heads for total number of born per litter, 10.56${\pm}$0.216 and 11.81${\pm}$0.251 heads for number of born alive per litter, and 10.05${\pm}$0.131 and 9.96${\pm}$0.153 heads for number of weaned per litter, respectively. These records are significantly higher(P〈0.05) than those of YY and MBS. However, number of mummified per litter, number of stillborn per litter, number of dead by diarrhea per litter, number of dead by other reasons during lactating period per litter and estrus interval did not show significant difference between types of sows. There were more total number of born per litter and number of weaned per litter in year 2001 than other year. As year passed, number of dead by crush per litter, number of dead by diarrhea per litter and number of dead by other reasons during lactating period per litter reduced from 0.18${\pm}$0.023 to 0.07${\pm}$0.022 head, 0.12${\pm}$0.21 to 0.02${\pm}$0.020 head and 0.43${\pm}$0.041 to 0.22${\pm}$0.040 head, respectively and weaning rate increased from 0.94${\pm}$0.005% to 0.97${\pm}$0.005%. The total number of born per litter and number of born alive per litter were higher(P〈0.05) in the case of mating twice than mating once. The number of weaned per litter, number of mummified per litter and number of stillborn per litter were not significant(P〈0.05) between mating methods. Estrus interval was shorter on the occasion of twice artificial insemination(5.24${\pm}$0.153days) than twice natural mating(6.51${\pm}$0.466days).

Despite the recognition of the need for productivity information and its importance, the feedback of productivity information is not well-established in the construction industry. Effective use of productivity information is required to improve the reliability of construction planning. However, in many cases, on-site productivity information is hardly management effectively, but rather it relies on the experience and/or intuition of project participants. Based on the literature review and expert interviews, the authors recognized that one of the possible solutions is to develop a systematic approach in dealing with productivity information of the construction job-sites. It is required that the new system should not be burdensome to users, purpose-oriented information management, easy-to follow information structure, real-time information feedback, and productivity-related factor recognition. Based on the preliminary investigations, this study proposed a framework for a novel system that facilitate the effective management of construction productivity information. This system has utilized Sketchup software which has good user accessibility by minimizing additional data input and related workload. The proposed system has been designed to input, process, and output the pertinent information through a four-stage process: preparation, input, processing, and output. The inputted construction information is classified into Task Breakdown Structure (TBS) and Material Breakdown Structure (MBS), which are constructed by referring to the contents of the standard specification of building construction, and converted into productivity information. In addition, the converted information is also graphically visualized on the screen, allowing the users to use the productivity information from the job-site. The productivity information management system proposed in this study has been pilot-tested in terms of practical applicability and information availability in the real construction project. Very positive results have been obtained from the usability and the applicability of the system and benefits are expected from the validity test of the system. If the proposed system is used in the planning stage in the construction, the productivity information and the continuous information is accumulated, the expected effectiveness of this study would be conceivably further enhanced.

Paraoxonase-1 (PON1), like lipoprotein lipase (LPL), plays a key role in the metabolism and physiology of mammalian growth. The objectives of this study were to estimate the allele and genotype frequencies at the PON1/EcoRV and PON1/AluI loci in three genetic groups of beef cattle and to determine associations between these polymorphisms and growth and carcass traits. Genotyping was performed on 30 Angus, 32 Hereford and 26 Simmental. The association analysis was carried out using the GLM procedure of SAS 9.1 and the least squares means of the genotypes were compared by the Tukey's test. Animals with AG genotype at the PON1/EcoRV locus had higher weight at the time of entry into the fattening corrals ($329.97{\pm}6.08kg$) and close to the time of slaughter ($577.56{\pm}8.32kg$) and net meat weight ($275.89{\pm}4.05kg$) and fitted tenderness ($3.10{\pm}0.19kg$) (p<0.05). Animals with AA genotype at the PON1/AluI locus had higher weight at the time of entry ($333.37{\pm}8.93kg$) and slaughter ($576.82{\pm}13.18kg$) and net meat weight ($275.49{\pm}6.43kg$) and average daily gain ($0.68{\pm}0.02kg/d$) (p<0.05). The meat color score was also significantly higher (p<0.05). Between genotypes and breeds, there were significant differences observed except for TBW, REMG, MBS, REA and MCS. As a metabolism gene, genotypes of the SNPs of PON1 gene might be reflecting BFT directly, such as $A_eA_eG_aG_a$ genotype in this experiment.

Atopic dennatitis (AD) is one of the major public health problem. It has been reported that the prevalence of AD in children and adults are 10-20% and 1-3%, respectively. Westernization of food habits, urbanization, and environmental pollution are contributing factors toward the recent rise in prevalence. Excessive dietary restriction leads to chronic malnutrition in atopic dermatitis patients. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of medical nutrition therapy (MNT) on quality of diet and blood immune parameters in atopic dermatitis patients. The 19 atopic dermatitis patients (7 men and 12 women) admitted to K University Medical Center were studied. During the 12 weeks of intervention, the subjects were given MNT by a dietitian for 30-45 minutes every other week. MNT was comprised with general dietary therapy, intake of balanced meals, emphasis on n-3 fatty acid contents in foods, and food allergies. Anthropometric and dietary assessment and blood analysis were taken at baseline and after 12 weeks of MNT. After 12 weeks of MNT, the subjects' dietary qualities, including dietary diversity score (DDS), meal balance score (MBS) and dietary variety score (DVS) were significantly increased (p < 0.05). According to significantly increased intake of EPA and DHA, dietary n-6/n-3 fatty acid ratio decreased to the recommended level for the atopic dermatitis patients (p < 0.05). These changes of dietary fatty acid consumption were reflected erythrocyte fatty acid composition. After 12 weeks of MNT, serum levels of IgE and IL-4 levels were significantly decreased, however, the levers of INF-$\{gamma}$, WBC, lymphocyte and TLC were not changed. As a conclusion, the individualized MNT improved the quality of diet in atopic dermatitis patients thereby influenced RBC fatty acid composition and IgE and IL-4 levels.
