지능적 필드버스 Master/slave 네트워크 모니터링 시스템 (Intelligent Fieldbus Master/slave Network Monitoring System)

  • 최근 반도체 물류자동화 시스템 또는 발전소, 제철소와 같은 대단위 프로세스 자동화 시스템등에서 센서 및 계측 단말기기로부터의 계측 데이터를 산업용 Ethernet/IP 또는 블루투스와 같은 상위네트워크를 통해 원격지에서 제어계측 할 수 있도록 하기 위한 필드버스 기반의 산업용 유무선 계측 시스템 기술의 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그러나 Ethernet/IP라는 산업용 프로포콜 기반이 상용화될 경우 웹 환경에서 시스템에 독립적인 Master/slave간 지능적 모니터링 시스템의 개발은 매우 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 시스템 독립적으로 Master/slave 네트워크 모니터링 소프트웨어 및 통합 운영프로그램 개발하여 실시간으로 모니터링 할 수 있는 시스템을 개발하여 사용자들이 쉽게 사용할 수 있도록 하였다. 본 논문에서 구현한 환경은 윈도우 기반의 Java를 이용하였다.

  • 컴퓨터 전략 시뮬레이션 게임 설계에서는 Master ADU(Artificial Decision Unit)의 전략 수립을 위한 방법으로 다양한 기법들이 연구되고 있다. 특히 한정된 자원 하에서 게임을 사실적이고 지적인 기능을 구현하기 위해 치팅(Cheating)을 활용하거나 간단한 인공지능 기법이 적용되고 있다. 하지만 이 기법들은 사용자 적응성 및 전략 수립의 단순성을 야기하는 단점을 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 전략 시뮬레이션 게임의 전략 수립 에이전트인 Master ADU(Artificial Decision Unit)를 위하여 셀룰라 오토마타의 초기 규칙 생성에 유전자 알고리즘의 교배 및 돌연변이, 적합도 평가를 거친 유전자 형을 적용한 혼합형 전략 수립 기법을 제안한다 이 기법은 ADU가 적합한 유전자 형을 생산 및 선택하여 사용자에 대해 적극적으로 학습할 수 있었다.

  • The purpose of this study is to implement a landscape lighting system that displays full color video by precisely controlling the R, G, B (Red, Green, Blue) LEDs which have a resolution of 256 each. The system implemented in this study consists of a PC, MASTER, SLAVEs and MODULEs. The PC sets the various landscape lighting displays, and the image files can be sent to the MASTER through a virtual serial port connected to the USB (Universal Serial Bus). The MASTER sends a sync signal to the SLAVE. The SLAVE uses the signal received from the MASTER and the landscape lighting display pattern.

  • This paper presents the duplex controller operated as master slave for Self Excited Static Type excitation system and the results of operation for duplex digital excitation system.   • This study presents a parallel branch-and-bound (PBAB) method for traveling salesman problem (TSP). The PBAB method adopts intermediate form of central control and distributed control in terms of the lightness of the master process's role. Compared with fully distributed control, the control scheme involves less concentration of communication on the master. Moreover, in order to reduce the influence of communication, the worker is composed of a computation thread and a communication thread. The multithreadness realizes the almost blocking free communications on the master. We implement the proposed PBAB method on a network of PCs, which consists of one master and up to 16 workers. We experiment five TSP instances. The results shows that the efficiency increases with the problem size.

  • LIGA(Lithographie Galvanoformung Abformung), a fabrication method for the production of microstructrues with a high aspect ratio, is now playing an important role in a fabrication of polymeric optical waveguide device as the replication processes have been developed such as hot embossing and injection molding. The present report deals with the fabrication of Ni master used for the replication of multi-mode polymeric optical waveguide. With the basic technological features in the sequence of the LIGA technique, we fabricated Ni master with 12 channel microstructures of $100\;{\times}\;100{\mu}m\;^2{\times}\;60mm$, and achieved an accuracy of ${\pm}1\;{\mu}m$. Manufactured polymeric optical wavegude with the same using hot embossing process has also the same accuracy and approved its mass production capability.

  • The Master-Slave manipulator is the generally used remote handling equipment in the hot cell, in which the high level radioactive materials such as spent fuels are handled. To analyze the motion and to implement the training system by virtual reality technology, the simulator for M-S manipulator using the computer graphics is developed. The parts are modelled in 3-D graphics, assembled, and kinematics are assigned. The inverse kinematics of the manipulator is defined, and the slave of manipulator is coupled with master by the manipulator's specification. Also, the virtual workcell is implemented in the graphical environment which is the same as the real environment. This graphic simulator of manipulator can be effectively used in designing of the maintenance processes for the hot cell equipment and enhance the reliability of the spent fuel management.

Geometric Modeling and Five-axis Machining of Tire Master Models

  • Tire molds are manufactured by aluminum casting, direct five-axis machining, and electric discharging machining. Master models made of chemical wood are necessary if aluminum casting is used. They are designed with a three-dimensional computer-aided design system and milled by a five-axis machine. In this paper, a method for generating and machining a tire surface model is proposed and demonstrated. The groove surfaces, which are the main feature of the tire model, are created using a parametric design concept. An automatically programmed tool-like descriptive language is presented to implement the parametric design. Various groove geometries can be created by changing variables. For convenience, groove surfaces and raw cutter location (CL) data are generated in two-dimensional drawing space. The CL data are mapped to the tread surface to obtain five-axis CL data to machine the master model. The proposed method was tested by actual milling using the five-axis control machine. The results demonstrate that the method is useful for manufacturing a tire mold.

니켈 전주도금을 위한 PET의 엑시머 레이저 어블레이션 (The excimer laser ablation of PET for nickel electroforming)

  • In this study, manufacturing of polymer master and mold insert for micro injection molding was investigated. Ablation by excimer laser radiation could be used successfully to make 3-D microstructure of PET. The mechanism for ablative decomposition of PET with KrF excimer laser(λ: 248nm, pulse duration: 5ns) was explained by photochemical process. And this process showed PET to be adopted in polymer master for nickel mold insert. Nickel electroforming by using laser ablated PET master was preferable for replication method. Finally, it was shown that excimer laser ablation can substitute for X-ray lithography of LIGA process in microstructuring.
