A questionnaire survey of patients for practical training of dental hygiene department of E college was conducted from August 28th 2006 to December 8th 2006. Before scaling, the purpose of the study and the questionnaires were fully explained and the patients were requested to complete the questions personally. The survey were conducted under their consent and 256 copies were collected and used for the analysis. The survey shows the patients' habit for oral health care according to the gender and age and their standards for the quality of life. 1. For gender, male occupied 117(45.7%) and female occupied 139(54.3%). For age, 158 of the patients were in their twenties(61.7%) and 60 of them were aged from 10 to 19(23,4%). 16 patients were aged from 40 to 49(6.3%) and 11 patients were aged from 30 to 39(4.3%) and the number of patients who are older than 50 was 11(4.3%). 2. For the mouth health care, according to gender, 37.6% of male answered that they had scaling and 46.8% of female patients answered that they had scaling experiences. Without distinction of gender, most patients answered they brushed their teeth twice a day. For 91.5% of male patients and 89.9% of female patients answered that they brushed their teeth after meals. Also, 41% of male patients and 53.2% of female patients use rolling method. For using mouth aids, 68.4% of male patients and 65.5% of female patients do not use any aids. 3. For brushing way, most teenagers and patients in their twenties use rolling method and patients older than thirty use vertical and horizontal method. The frequency of brushing shows that most of the respondents brush their teeth twice a day after meals. 4. The standard of quality of life according to gender, under 'clear pronunciation' head, male patients mark 4.42 points and female patients mark 4.17 points. Under 'every day going out' head, male patients mark 4.53 points and female patients mark 4.29 points. Under 'maintenance of emotion' male patients mark 4.27 points and female patients mark 4.27 points. 5. The standard of quality of life according to age, teenage patients show 4.28 points under 'having meals' and under 'clear pronunciation' head, patients in their forties mark 4.44 points. Under 'keeping teeth or denture clean' head, patients in their thirties mark 4.55 points. Patients in their fifties show the lowest grades in most questionnaires.
Objectives : The purpose of this study was to analyze the propensity and find out the Syndrome Differentiation of teeth-mark tongue by taking survey and body examinations with 178 male patients. 164 patients out of 178 were checked up on Heart Rate Variability (HRV), Accelerated Photoplethysmograpy (APG), Body Composition. This study was also planned to find out the distinctive characteristics of teeth-mark tongue diagnosis and compare differences between Qi-Deficiency and Accumulation of Dampness and Phlegm patients group. Methods : The questionnaire was carried out targeting 178 male with teeth-mark tongue respondents among who had Oriental Health Examination and patients from the 3rd oriental-internal medicine department in Dongeui Hospital from $1^{st}$, March 2005 to $30^{th}$, April 2010. Only 164 patients were checked on HRV, APG and Body composition examinations. Results : It showed that 86 patients had Qi-Deficiency and 78 had Dampness and Phlegm but 14 couldn't be categorized. The major symptoms of Qi-Deficiency compared to Dampness and Phlegm were 'Frequent running nose', 'Soft stool', 'Chronic fatigue', and 'Eyestrain'. On the contrary, Dampness and Phlegm's dominant symptoms were 'Chest discomfort', 'Feeling bloated', 'Back pain', 'Feeling sluggish', and 'Itchy skin'. However, all symptoms were not matched with the Syndrome Differentiation of Qi-Deficiency or Dampness and Phlegm. It also showed that teeth-mark tongue patients' frequent symptoms were 'Stuffy nose', 'Feeling bloated', 'Oliguria', 'Shoulder pain', 'Chronic fatigue' 'Eyestrain' and these symptoms were matched with the Syndrome Differentiation of Qi-Deficiency and Dampness and Phlegm. In the results from this study, there were no significant differences between Qi-Deficiency and Dampness and Phlegm. Conclusions : It is hard to conclude that teeth-mark tongue could be only one to diagnose Qi-Deficiency or Dampness and Phlegm with 3 examinations.
Background: The incidence of gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD) is increasing recently, but medical management for GERD has many limitations. Therefore, variable surgical treatments have been introduced. Material and Method: A retrospective study was done in 10 patients who underwent the Belsey Mark IV operation at Korea university Guro hospital between 1996 and 2001. Preoperative diagnoses were hiatal hernia with gasroesophageal reflux in 8 patients and achalasia in 2 patients. Result: Mean age of the patients was 54.3$\pm$19.0 years. Belsey Mark IV operation was performed on patients where preoperative medical failed and mean hospital days were 13.1$\pm$2.6 days. We routinely practiced follow-up endoscopy on postoperative 3rd, 6th, 9th, and 12th months. After remission for reflux and esophagitis, they were transferred to internal medicine department. Six patients of hiatal hernia with reflux (one patient who lost follow-up and the other patient who didn't practice the follow-up endoscopy due to short postoperative follow-up period were excluded) had lowered endoscopic gradings and two patients of achalasia did not complained of reflux symptoms, postoperatively. We experienced 10% operation failure rate. Conclusion: We experienced satisfactory operation results with Belsey Mark IV in hiatal hernia with GERD and achalasia patients.
The objective of this study was to develop the Jeogori Pattern for 9 to 10 year-old boys To determine the measurement items for the Jeogori Pattern making, applied factor analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis to the 37 measurement items of the 9 to 10 year-old boys classified as a standard somatotype. To understand the shape and variation of the body surface, analyzed the replica of the upper body surface that was obtained by the method of using surgical tape. Be based on the results of the above studies, designed the Jeogori Pattern. The designed pattern was evaluated by the sensory test. The drafting methods of Jeogori Pattern obtained are as follows. $\circled1$ The measurement items are Bust Girth, Center Back Waist Length, Neck Width, and Hwajang Length. $\circled2$ Jeogori Length Center Back Waist Length$\times$4/3 $\circled3$ Front Body Girth(1/2) : B/2 + 1.5cm Back Body Girth(1/2) : B/2 + 3.5cm $\circled4$ Jin-Dong : B/4 + 3cm $\circled5$ Back Godae Width(1/2) : Neck Width/2 + 1.7cm Front Godae Width(l/2) : Back Godae Width(1/2) - 2cm $\circled6$Back Godae Point is 1.5cm higher than shoulder line, and Front Godae Point is 1.5cm lower than shoulder line. $\circled7$ Back Godae Depth: 1.2cm + 1.5cm = 2.7cm The Jeogori Pattern designed by the above method Is as (fig. 8) The results of the sensory test of the new pattern are as fellows. Except for 2 items, every mark of 24 test items has over 5.0 point and a total average mark is 5.25 point. Witch is a good mark. Therefore the new pattern is valid. Especially, the parts of Git, sleeves and back face have a high mark, so the appearances of those parts are excellent.
Exposure rates due to leakage gamma-rays from operating reactors TRIGA Mark II and III were measured in a horizontal plane by means of scintillation spectrometry using a 3"$\times$3" cylindrical Nal(T1) detector associated with a 400 channel pulse height analyzer under varied conditions of reactor operation. In determining exposure rate due to the leakage gamma-rays at each point of measurement, Moriuchi's spectrum-exposure rate conversion theory was applied instead of using conventional responce matrix method which necessitates very complicated procedures to convert a spectrum into exposure rate. The results show that a basic pattern of "typical" spectrum of the reactor leakage gamma-rays is neither affected by thermal output of the reactor, nor influenced by overall attenuation in radiation intensity. It was indicated that he attenuation of the leakage gamma-rays in air in terms of exposure rate as a whole follows an exponential law, and the total exposure rate due to the leakage gamma-rays at a certain point is nearly proportional to thermal output of the reactor. The complexity in spectrum measured for a movable core reactor, TRIGA Mark III, was analyzed through spectrum resolution, and proper judgement of the leakage gamma-rays in a complex spectrum was discussed.ctrum was discussed.
A method which determines TRIGA Mark-III core power distribution by measuring fuel temperature is developed. The temperature measurement is performed by sweeping the already existing instrumented fuel elements which are loaded as an expedient of safe operation, and the number of fuel positions swept is 16. Experimental results are compared with those from computation using neutron diffusion theory. The maximum and standard deviations are 12 and 5%, respectively. It is confirmed that the estimation of rod power density of measuring fuel temperature is for more convenient than the conventional methods, and that it is proved to be very accurate as well.

This paper proposes an approach of automatically identifying the center of fiducial marks using radiometric and geometric characteristics of those marks existing on aerial photographs. Candidate region surrounding a mark, based on radiometric strategy, is determined by producing a bi-level image and by applying morphological operations. Based on geometric strategy, the central location of a mark is determined by applying ${\bigtriangledown}^G$ filtering and symmetry-enhancement filtering, and by finding peak location of symmetry. Evaluation with respect to 66 cases of sub-images containing a fiducial mark showed that the central location of the mark is determined up to around one pixel difference whit it is compared to a manual inspection.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare color correspondence of different sizes of Vita Mark II$^{(R)}$ and TriLuxe$^{(R)}$ Feldspar blocks. Methods: The three commercially available shades(1M2, 2M2, 3M2) of Mark II & TriLuxe blocks for the CEREC$^{(R)}$ CAD/CAM system were examined. For each of three colors, three different sizes were tested, 5 blocks each. The measurements were made using a spectrophotometer equipped with an integrating sphere using the CIE $L^*$, $a^*$, $b^*$ colorimetric system. Results: The $L^*$, $a^*$, $b^*$ value of Vita Mark II$^{(R)}$ ceramic block showed significantly higher than TriLuxe$^{(R)}$ ceramic block(p<0.05). In comparing the Vita Mark II$^{(R)}$ specimen of the three different shade, color differences between materials(${\Delta}E^*$) showed the lowest value of 2.09, and the highest was 2.24. ${\Delta}E^*$ values of the materials of Vita Mark II$^{(R)}$ were higher than 2. As the size of ceramic block differed, the color correspondence of Vita Mark II$^{(R)}$ showed statistically significant difference but, this result is clinically acceptable. Conclusion: All the different sizes of the different shades of Vita TriLuxe$^{(R)}$ blocks for the CEREC$^{(R)}$ system showed the high degree of color correspondence necessary in industrially prefabricated CAD/CAM blocks. The results of the present study suggested that it would be necessary to establish the reproducible and constant color specification system for an esthetic restoration.
