Purpose: The purpose of study was to identify the relationship between body image and self-esteem in patients with chronic renal failure. Method The subjects of study were 97 patients with chronic renal failure who were outpatients at K medical center. B hospital, H hospital in Busan. Data were collected from Nov 15th to Dec. 17th, 1999. The instruments used for study were the Body Cathexis Scale and Rogenberg's Self-esteem Scale. Collected data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, and Pearson's correlation coefficients. Result: 1 The mean score for body image was $137.46{\pm}22.21$, the mean mark $2.92{\pm}0.47$, and the mean score of self-esteem was $30.80{\pm}8.76$, the mean mark $3.08{\pm}0.87$. 2. There was a significant difference in the score for body image according to educational level (F=5.189, P=.002) and type of residence (F=6.095. P=.001). 3. There was a significant difference in the score for self-esteem according to age (F=3.615, P=.009), educational level (F= 4.772, P=.004), marital status (F=3.498 P=.019) and presence of children (F=2.511, P=.014). 4. Body image in patients with chronic renal failure patients showed significant correlation with self-esteem (r=.519, P=.000). Conclusion: From this study, a relationship between body image and self-esteem in patients with chronic renal failure was identified. Therefore, nursing interventions are needed to promote body image and self esteem in patients with chronic renal patients.

The purpose of this study is to suggest guidelines for analysis acknowledgement, preference with 19 local foods and 3 Koguryo foods in Dan Yang county. The questionnaires are distributed each 150 residence and tourist who visited in Dan Yang county, collected 261, then used for data analysis 232. The results are as followed. First, 4 items among 22 regional foods' marsh snail broth', 'mixed rice with acorn-starch paste', 'mixed rice with various herb', and 'baked deodeok' are ranked highly in acknowledgement and preference. Second, 4 variables which are sex, age, residence or tourists, and income had significant in acknowledgement. Therefore, making Koguryo food town near movie setting place, introduction geographically mark system, and put Dan Yang mark into merchandise would be increased acknowledgement, and also promoted local economic. Third, 3 variables except income had significant in preference. Therefore, functional effect of each food and taste for young generation would be reinforced in preference.

General Physics CAI Program was developed for university science and engineering student. The program was restricted in the field of mechanics and was mainly aimed for individual tutorial. This project was supported by Government. Department of Education, physics attending their general physics classes in university. The program was written in BASIC and constructed by frame, 4 professors and 6 graduate students were involved in the project. Summary of this study is as follows. 1. The theory of CAI was illuminated from a new point of view to enhance usefullness of CAI. Also the structure of frame type CAI was studied. 2. The program was developed as follows 1) The program consisted of main program, pretest routine, tutorial routine, final test routine, and several other routines for program control. Whole program was written in BASIC. 2) 20 problems for pretest, 90 problems and subsequent hints and solutions for tutorial, 20 problems for final test were developed. 3) According to student's pretest result, tutorial course was routed through several different courses which contain different number of problems 4) The expected rate of achievment for final test was set to 75%. 5) Data of students response to problems including number of tries and time used were recorded for the purpose of achievment analisys 3. 22 students went through whole course and the results were as follows. 1) Pretest marks were widly distributed from 20 points to 100. It means that achievement of high school physics course were not enough. 2) Throughout tutorial course, students who had got higher mark in pretest answered correctly in the first trial at a higher rate of 78 %. Overall rate of correct answer in the second trial was distributed appropriatly. 3) Average mark of final test was 78.8 points, rather a higher rate of achievement than expected. This means that the program was constructed well.

부산시 사하구에서는 발전하는 경제추세와 지방화시대에 발맞추어 2천년대 서부산의 중추기능을 수행하는 낙동강권의 중심도시로 지역사회가 원하는 공공시설을 수용하고 지역의 Land Mark로서 구청의 이미지를 부각시키는 등 대민봉사의 질향상과 구민편의를 제공코자 신청사 건립 현상설계 경기를 실시했다. 이 설계경기에서는 총 11개 작품이 제출되어 심사한 결과 일신설계(정태복)안이 당선작으로 선정됐으며, 우수작으로는 신도시 설계감리(박찬실)안이, 가작으로는 부원종합건축(정성규)안이 각각 선정됐다. 본지에서는 이번 현상설계 경기의 심사과정, 심사평과 함께 당선작과 우수작을 게재한다.

This paper is a natural continuation of [2], [3], [4] and [5]. Localization techniques for modular lattices are developed. These techniques are applied to study liftings of linear order types from quotient lattices and to find Г-dense sets in certain lattices without Г-deviation in the sense of [4], where Г is a set of indecomposable linear order types.

애플과 구글이 주도한 모바일 앱 장터에 새로운 변화가 찾아올 것으로 예상된다. HTML5(HyperText Mark-up Language 5)로 무장한 모바일 웹 앱의 등장은 모바일 인터넷 환경의 비약적인 발전과 고사양의 스마트기기 보급 확대에 힘입어 모바일 앱의 생태계를 재구성하고 있다. 본고에서는 애플리케이션 플랫폼의 발달 과정과 모바일 웹 환경에서의 HTML5의 역할에 대해서 알아보고 모바일 웹 프레임워크에 대해 정리하였다.

선천성 횡경막탈장은 2000∼5000명의 신생아 당 한명 꼴의 발생율을 가진 드문 질환이다. 그 중 신생아에서 열공탈장은 더욱 희귀한 질환이다. 저자는 생후 1주일된 신생아의 선천성 복합열공탈장을 경험하였다. 진단은 빠른 시간내 이루어졌으며 수술은 우측 흉곽절제술을 통해 탈장된 장기를 복원하고 Belsey-mark IV 술식을 시행하였다. 환아는 술후 3일째 음식을 먹었고 퇴원 6개월후 지금까지 별 문제없이 잘 지내고 있다.

This paper evaluates a new clinical trial designs for low infection rate disease. This type of sparse disease reaction makes the traditional two sample t-test or Wilcoxon rank-sum test inefficient compared to a new test suggested. The new test, which is based solely on the larger changes, is shown to be more effective than existing method by simulation for small samples. However, this test can be shown to be connected to the locally most powerful rank test under certain practical conditions. This design is motivated in testing the treatment effects in periodontal disease research.

디지탈 비디오 디스크의 약어로 지칭되는 DVD는 현대 과학이 이루어낸 레이저 광에 의한 정보의 기록과 재생을 한층 승화시킨 차세대 package형 광 기록 매체이다. 앞으로 이 제품군은 기존에 분리되어 있던 가전과 컴퓨터의 응용분야를 이어주는 교량역할을 할 새로운 개념의 상품으로 기대된다. 본 고에서는 DVD의 기술적 배경 및 이의 구현을 위해 활용된 요소기술, 그리고 미래기술로의 흐름에 관해 소개고자 한다.

The current function of 119EMS(Emergency Medical Service) is simply to transport patients to hospitals due to the lack of medical personnel and medical equipments. In order to mark the current 119EMS system, that is to say, more many medical technician and paramedics, medical equipments supplementation, korean EMS communication system simplification and the re-arrangement of the existing fire organization, and so on. Also so various problems involving 119EMS should be solved political and financial support and the change in people's attitude toward the public fire service.
