This study is on the system that can integrate generator and charger to use as a welder and generator for need. Specifically, it was hybrid generator consisted with select switch to use generator controller and multiple function welder, that function were auto-stopping generator when generator power finish to recharge in recharger battery and Co2 MMA TIG MIG MAG are devide depend on supplying gas. This control system of voltage, high-frequency, motor and gas valve was implemented in order to improve the performance and convenience of existing welders to choose only one or two at a time.

It has been used many kinds of horizontal butt-welding methods at block-to-block erection stage in shipbuilding companies. For examples, some companies use conventional FCA W process with one side or both sides groove joint welding, others use carriage with torch holder type mechanized welding method. Although lots of efforts were done until now, some problems in quality and productivity still remain in ship's hull welding. In this study, we have attempted to raise productivity and quality on horizontal position of welding with following 3 items. 1) Prepare groove condition with no root gap for making easy fit-up work. 2) Develop improved MAG (100% $CO_2$ gas shielding) welding process with solid wire for making sound root bead from one side. 3) Develop and apply quite new automatic welding carriage. The stability of new welding process was confirmed by conducting mechanical tests of weldments to verify the soundness of weldments.

We present a preliminary result of the Fornax cluster survey as a part of the KMTNet Intensive Nearby Southern Galaxy Group Survey (KINGS). We discovered about 200 new dwarf galaxy candidates from the survey of the $8^{\circ}{\times}6^{\circ}$ area around the Fornax cluster. They have magnitudes ranging from V=17.5 to 22 mag (Mv = -13.8 to -9.3), and they are almost complete to V = 20 mag. Surface brightness profiles of most of these galaxies are fit well by a Sersic law with n ~ 1.0. Structural parameters of these galaxies follow well the scaling relations of dwarf galaxies in the fundamental plane. The color-magnitude diagram of these galaxies shows that they are mostly located at the faint end of the red sequence, indicating that they are the probable member of the Fornax cluster. We also derive a luminosity function of the Fornax cluster by combining the new galaxies with the known galaxies in the previous catalogs. We will discuss the future of the KINGS-Fornax.

We have employed SNANA supernova analysis package to make YONSEI Supernova Catalogue 1, which contains distance modulus, light-curve shape parameters, and color or extinction values of each supernova. This database is used to study the dependence of Type Ia supernovae (SNe Ia) luminosities on the host-galaxy morphologies. The redshift range of this catalogue is 0.010 < z < 1.555, and we use three light-curve fitters: SALT2, MLCS2k2 (Rv = 3.1), and MLCS2k2 (Rv = 1.7). We find a systematic difference in the Hubble residual (HR) of $0.1{\pm}0.031$ mag between E-S0 and Scd/Sd/Irr host-galaxies, and of $0.16{\pm}0.044$ mag between passive and star-burst host-galaxies. This difference is significant over the $3{\sigma}$ level. Considering the significant difference in the mean age of stellar population between these morphological types, the difference in the HR reported here suggests that the evolution effect of SNe Ia luminosity should be considered in the cosmological application of SNe Ia data.

This paper describes the development of scientific payload system onboard the KSR-III. The ozone detector(UVR), Langmuir electron probe(LEP), airglow photometer(AGP), and magnetometer(MAG) constitute this system. The purpose of the ozone detector is to measure the ozone density profile and the LEP measures the electron density and temperature in the ionosphere over the Korean Peninsula. The AGP detects airglow in the mesosphere over the Korean Peninsular. The MAG provides rocket attitude and the magnetic fluctuation information during the flight. With the developed payloads, the ground calibration tests and the environmental tests have been performed.

We present newly discovered dwarf galaxy candidates in deep wide-field images of NGC 1291 obtained with KMTNet. We identify 15 dwarf galaxy candidates by visual inspection within the virial radius of NGC 1291. Using imaging simulations, we demonstrate that our imaging data is complete up to 26 mag arcsec^-2 or -10 abs.mag with > 70% of the completeness rate. We also apply automated detection method to find the dwarfs. However, the completeness and the reliability are relatively low compared to the visual inspection. We find that structural and photometric properties of dwarf candidates such as effective radius, central surface brightness, Sérsic index, and absolute magnitude appear to be consistent with those of known dwarf galaxies in nearby groups and clusters, except for color. NGC 1291, residing in a relatively isolated environment, tends to accompany bluer dwarf galaxies (≃0.58) than those in denser environment. It shows that the quenching of dwarfs is susceptible to the environment.

Diacylglycerol(DAG) was produced by enzymatic esterification of glyceryl mono-oleate(GMO) and conjugated linoleic acid(CLA) in a stirred-batch type reactor. The reaction was catalyzed by lipozyme RMIM(an immobilized lipase from Rizomucor miehei). DAG was isolated by a short-path distillation process and decolorized. DAG oil was composed of 87.3% DAG, 11.4% triacylglycerol(TAG), and 1.5% monoacylglycerol(MAG)(all w/w). Major fatty acids in DAG oil were oleic acid(54%), CLA(31.1%), and linoleic acid(7%). DAG oil iodine,and acid values were 108.8, 2.57, and 1, respectively. The DAG oil solid fat index(SFI) and thermograms were obtained using differential scanning calorimetry.

달은 global magnetic fields가 존재하지 않으나, 달 표면에 국지적으로 자기장이 존재하며 이러한 현상의 원인은 계속 연구중이다. 달의 자기이상 현상이 나타나는 지역 중 광학적으로 밝고 어두운 패턴이 관측되는 지역을 Swirl이라한다. Mare Crisium ($17.18^{\circ}N$, $59.1^{\circ}E$)은 표면에 2개의 자기이상 지역과 광학적으로 밝은 지역들이 존재하지만, Swirl로 잘 알려진 Reiner Gamma와 같은 지역의 광학적 밝기와 패턴의 차이가 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 Lunar Prospector (LP) 위성의 magnetometer (MAG) 자료를 이용하여 자기장 분포에 관한 연구 및 Clementine 위성의 UV/VIS 영상자료를 이용하여 광학적 특성 연구를 진행하였다. LP의 MAG 자료는 Mare Cirisium지역의 22.3 km 고도에서 관측된 744개의 자료를 활용하였으며, Clementine의 영상자료는 750 nm, 950 nm의 반사도에 따른 Optical Maturity (OMAT)를 활용하였다. Mare Crisium의 북쪽지역은 자기이상 현상과 OMAT의 고유특성이 동시에 나타나며 이는 swirl과 유사하다. 특히, Mare Cirisum서쪽에 있는 Proclus crater 잔해 일부가 Mare Crisium의 북쪽지역까지 퍼져있어 이와 관련하여 자기장 존재여부에 따른 광학적 특성의 차이점을 조사하였다. 본 논문에서는 Mare Crisium 지역의 Swirl 진위여부를 추론하며, 본 논문에서 이용한 방법의 유용성에 대하여 검증하고자 한다.

Recent studies suggest that the difference between global and local properties of galaxies (the local-global environmental (LoG) bias) might be important in the Type Ia supernova (SN Ia) host galaxy studies. Obtaining local spectroscopic properties of hosts at high redshift, however, is challenging. Here we will introduce a more efficient way to conduct this study by only using photometric data. We find that when we restrict a sample to the hosts whose stellar mass is less than $10^{10}$ $M_{\odot}$, a sample without LoG bias is efficiently selected. From the sample without LoG bias, we confirm that SNe Ia in locally star-forming environment are $0.103{\pm}0.010mag$ and $0.085{\pm}0.012mag$ fainter than those in locally passive region, for MLCS2k2 and SALT2, respectively. Because of ~6 times larger sample that covers much wider redshift range, our results are far more significant statistically, $10.3{\sigma}$ for MLCS2k2 and $7.1{\sigma}$ for SALT2, than previous results.
