기능성 MA필름을 이용한 '후지' 사과의 기호도 조사 (Customer Preferences for 'Fuji' Apples Stored Using Functional Modified Atmosphere Film)

  • 거창과 서울에 거주하는 소비자로 20대부터 60대까지 남녀 280명을 대상으로 MA 필름으로 포장한 포장구 사과와 포장하지 않은 대조구 사과의 신선함, 단맛, 신맛, 향미, 아삭거림, 씹힘성, 구매의사에 대한 기호도를 조사한 결과 20대에서 신선함, 아삭거림, 씹힘성과 구매의사에서 대조구보다 포장구의 기호도가 유의적으로 높게 나타났다. 30대는 신선함, 신맛, 향미, 구매의사에서 40대는 향에서, 50대에서는 단맛과 향에서만 대조구보다 포장구의 기호도가 유의적으로 높게 나타났다. 그리고 60대에서 신선함, 향미, 구매의사에서는 대조구보다 포장구의 기호도가 유의적으로 높게 나타난 반면, 단맛, 신맛, 아삭거림에서는 포장구보다 대조구의 기호도가 유의적으로 높은 것으로 나타났다. 모든 연령에서의 대조구와 포장구 사과의 기호도는 맛의 특성 중 신선함(p=0.0011), 향미(p=0.0002), 구매의사(p=0.0018)에서 유의적으로 포장구가 높게 나타났고, 단맛, 신맛, 아삭거림, 씹힘성에서는 기호도 차이가 나타나지 않았다.

  • This study proposes a method to develop an authoring system(GeoMaTree) for diverse trees that constitute a virtual landscape. The GeoMaTree system enables the simple, intuitive production of an efficient structure, and supports real-time processing. The core of the proposed system is a procedural modeling based on a mathematical model and an application that supports digital content creation on diverse platforms. The procedural modeling allows users to control the complex pattern of branch propagation through an intuitive process. The application is a multi-resolution 3D model that supports appropriate optimization for a tree structure. The application and a compatible function, with commercial tools for supporting the creation of realistic synthetic images and virtual landscapes, are implemented, and the proposed system is applied to a variety of 3D image content.

Preparation of Intermetallic Compound of Ternary Al-B-C System by Mechanical Alloying

  • Metallic compound of ternary Al-B-C system was prepared by mechanical alloying (MA) using Al, boron and graphite powders as starting materials. MA was carried out using Spex 8000 mixer/mill for 50 hours in an argon atmosphere without process control reagent such as methyl alcohol. The MA powders obtained were heat-treated in vacuum at the temperature of 873 and 1273 K for 5 hour. Pure ternary Al-B-C compound was obtained in the chemical content of Al:B:C=55:27:18. The ternary compound obtained in this study has a new phase whose crystal structure is not identified yet.

Indomethacin으로 유발된 생쥐의 위점막 손상에 대한 지실도체환(枳實導滯丸)과 Misoprostol의 효과 비교 연구 (A Comparison Study on Effects of Jisildoche-hwan Extract and Misoprostol on Indomethacin-induced Gastric Mucosal Lesions in Mice)

  • Objective : This study was carried out to investigate the effects of Jisildochehwan extract on indomethacin-induced gastric mucosal lesions of mice. as compared with misoprostol. Methods : Experimental mice were classified into four groups. No gastro-inflammation elicited mice were the normal group(NOR). Gastro-inflammation elicited mice were the control group (CON). Misoprostol-administered mice after gastro-inflammation elicitation were the misoprostol-administered group (MA). Jisildochehwan-administered mice after gastro-inflammation elicitation were the Jisildochehwan-administered group(JA). In this study, we examined superoxide dismutase(SOD) ability, anti-inflammatory ability arrangement of mucous-secreted cells. distribution of mucosal neck cells, mucosal surface cells. neutral mucous-secreted cells. PAS reaction. COX-1, $TNF-{\alpha}$, $NF-{\kappa}B$ p65 and iNOS. Results : The SOD ability of the Jisildochehwan group increased dose-dependently. The hemorrhagic erosion and the damage of arrangement of mucous-secreted cells increased in the CON group. but decreased in the MA and JA groups. The COX-1 positive were decreased in the CON group, but increased in the MA and JA groups. The distribution of mucosal neck cells and mucosal surface cells. PAS positive reaction of surface mucous cells were decreased in CON group, but increased in MA and JA group. $TNF-{\alpha}$, $NF-{\kappa}B$ p65 and iNOS increased in the CON group, but decreased in the MA and JA groups. In all the results, the effects were better in the JA group than in the MA group. Conclusion : Jisildochehwan extract was more effective than Misoprostol. Jisildochehwan has excellent protective effects on indomethacin-induced gastric mucosal lesions.

CA(controlled atmosphere storage) 및 MA(modified atmosphere storage)저장이 수삼 및 홍삼의 화학적 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Controlled Atmosphere and Modified Atmosphere Storage on the Chemical Properties of Fresh and Red Ginseng)

  • In order to stabilize the price of fresh ginseng by extension of seasonal variation and marketing structure, and to reduce the cost of production by works of intensive and short term, studies were carried out. As fresh ginseng of 4 years old by the MA (modified atmosphere storage) and CA (controlled atmosphere storage) was stored for 12 week at 4$^{\circ}C$, samples were collected after every 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12 weeks for processing red ginseng. Chemical characteristics on ginseng steamed red for the quality evaluation are summarized as follows. The composition of free sugar was consisted of fructose, glucose, sucrose, and maltose in fresh ginseng. And small change was revealed in free sugar composition during the storage period. Glucose and sucrose were largely increased in both treatments of MA (modified atmosphere storage) and CA (controlled atmosphere storage) after 4 week, wherein maltose was decreased. Fifteen different amino acids were identified, and total amount of histamine and arginine were over 40%. Phenylalanine was slightly decreased. As the volatile components in control red ginseng, six different ones including triisopropyl benzene were detected. B-1 ($CO_2$ : $O_2$ : N2=6 : 4.90, DF-100) of CA and E-1 (CPP, DF-100) of MA did not shown triisopropyl benzene as the volatile components. And ${\gamma}$-muurolene, guaiaene, and beta-patchoulene were reduced, but the other components showed the trend of increase.

모의수출조건에서 유황패드와 MAP 복합처리가 '캠벨얼리' 포도의 품질에 미치는 영향 (Effects of combination treatment with sulfur dioxide generating pad and modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) on the quality of 'Campbell Early'grape under simulated export conditions)

  • 장기 해상운송 시 포도과실의 신선도 유지 및 수입국에서의 유통기간 연장을 통한 수출국 다변화 및 수출경쟁력 향상을 위해, 모의수출조건 및 실제 수출 시 유황패드와 MA포장 복합처리에 따른 포도과실의 선도유지 효과를 검토하였다. 캠벨얼리 포도는 경기도 화성지역에서 재배되었으며 2016년 8월 말에 수확하여, 예냉은 $0^{\circ}C$, 선별 및 포장은 $10^{\circ}C$에서 실시하였고 $0^{\circ}C$에 30일간 저장하였다. 시험처리는 관행 수출포장(대조구), 유황패드처리, 유황패드+MA 복합처리의 3가지로 하였다. 모의수출 조건인 $0^{\circ}C$, 30일 저장 시 포도상자 내부의 온도와 상대습도는 처리에 따라 약간의 차이가 있기는 했으나 각각 $0.6-2^{\circ}C$, 94-100% 범위 내에서 안정적으로 유지되었다. 무처리와 유황패드 단독처리의 경우 저장기간이 경과할수록 경도의 감소, 과경의 갈변, brush 길이의 감소, 탈립률의 증가 등에서 유황패드+MA 복합처리와 유의적인 차이를 보였다. 유황패드+MA 복합처리의 경우 MA포장에 의한 선도유지 효과와 더불어 PE필름으로 인해 저장 30일 후에도 포장 내부에 2.9 ppm 정도의 $SO_2$ 농도가 유지되면서 장기 저장 및 운송 시 포도의 품질을 가장 잘 유지시켜 주는 것으로 나타났으며, 이러한 효과는 $15^{\circ}C$, 7일 저장의 모의유통조건에서도 동일하게 나타났다. 또한 수확 후 11일간의 해상운송을 거쳐 미국 현지 소매점에 유통될 때까지 30일이 소요된 대미수출 포도의 경우에도 모의수출 조건에서 수행된 것과 동일한 결과를 보였다. 미국 현지에서 품질 조사 수행 결과, 유황패드+MA 복합처리에서만 4.0 ppm의 $SO_2$가 측정되었으며 신선도 유지를 통한 상품성 보존이나 현지에서의 유통기한 연장 효과도 가장 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 결과적으로 장기 해상운송에 의한 캠벨얼리 포도 수출 시 유황패드+MA 복합처리는 상품성 및 유통기간 연장에 매우 효과적인 방법이라고 판단된다.

  • A new procedure is presented for optimally placing closed-loop poles of multivariable continuous-time systems in specified regions via linear-quadratic(LQ) state-feedback design. This method has the advantages of pole-placement and LQ-design. In addition, it provides minimum feedback gains in the control law.

뽕나무(Morus alba)와 꾸지뽕나무(Cudrania tricuspidata) 잎의 수용성 추출물이 흰쥐 혈청 및 간장 지질농도에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Water-Extracted of Leaves from Morus alba and Cudrania tricuspidata on the Lipid Concentrations of Serum and Liver in Rats)

  • 뽕나무(Morus alba) 및 꾸지뽕나무(Cudrania tricuspidata) 잎의 수용성 추출물을 콜레스테롤 첨가 식이에 각각 1% 수준으로 첨가하여 SD계 흰쥐에 14일간 섭취시킨 후 혈청 및 간장 지질 농도에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 혈청 중성지질 도는 대조군에 비해 꾸지뽕잎 추출물군에서는 유의적으로 감소하였고, 뽕잎 추출물군에서는 감소경향을 보였다. 간장 콜레스테롤 농도는 대조군에 비해 뽕잎 추출물군에서 유의적으로 감소하였으나, 꾸지뽕잎 추출물군에서는 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 혈청 인지질 농도는 대조군에 비해 뽕잎 추출물군에서는 증가경향을, 꾸지뽕잎 추출물군에서는 감소경향을 나타내었다. 체중 증가량, 식이 섭취량, 식이 효율, 혈청 총 콜레스테롤 및 HDL-콜레스테롤 농도, 간장 중성지질 및 인지질 농도는 실험 군간에 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 간장, 뇌 및 체지방 중량은 뽕잎 추출물군에서는 증가하였으며, 꾸지뽕잎 추출물군에서는 감소하였고, 신장, 심장 및 비장 무게는 각군간에 유의적인 차이는 없었다. 이상의 결과에서 뽕나무 및 꾸지뽕나무 잎으로부터 추출한 수용성 추출물에는 콜레스테롤 섭취 흰쥐의 혈청 중성지질 및 간장 콜레스테롤 농도를 저하시키는 작용이 인정되었다.

갈근탕 추출물의 단회투여 독성 시험 (Single Dose Toxicity Study on Galgeuntang in Mice)

  • In this study, we investigated the single dose toxicity and safety about water-extracted Galgeuntang. To evaluate single dose toxicity, 20 male and 20 female ICR mice were observed survival rates, general toxicity, changes of body weight for 14 days after single oral administration of 0 (control group), 1250, 2500 and 5000mg/kg Galgeuntang. And after 14 day, We observed autopsy. Compared with the control group, we could not find any toxic alteration in all treated groups (1250, 2500 and 5000 mg/kg). LD50 of Galgeuntang might be over 5000mg/kg and it is very safe to ICR mice.

한국 성인 남녀에서 지방섭취제한 행동 변화단계에 따른 영양상태와 건강관련 행위에 대한 신념 비교 (Comparison of Nutritional Status and Beliefs on Health Behavior Regarding Stages of change in Dietary Fat Reduction among Korean Men and Women)

  • This study describes the application of the stages of change construct to fat intake by examining the associations of the stages of change with nutritional status and beliefs on health behavior. Data were obtained from apparently healthy 596 adults(326 females and 270 males) residing in large cities. Stages of change assessed by an algorithms based on 6 items were designed each subject into one of the 5 stages: precontemplation(PC), contemplation(CO), preparation(PR), action(AC) and maintenance(MA). Beliefs on health behavior were assessed by self efficacy as well as 4 belief scales from the Locus of Illness Control(LIC) developed using factor analysis such as internal disease cure and prevention and external disease cure and prevention. Energy and fat intakes were measured by a 39 item short form food frequency questionnaire. Regarding the 5 stages of change, MA stage comprised the largest group(37.9%), followed by Ac(30.7%), PC(11.4%), CO(10.4%) and PR(9.6%). Subjects who were females, older or healthier were more likely to belong to either AC or MA. Stage assignment of individuals was corroborated by their nutritional variables. Those in PC had the most energy and fat and those in MA ate the least for females. BMI was higher in PR than any other stages for both males and females. Those in PC were distinctive in that they were more externally oriented in terms of health control showing higher scores on external disease prevention(for males) and external disease cure(for females), and lower score on internal disease cure. On the other hand, those in MA received the highest scores on internal disease prevention and self efficacy, which suggested that they were more internally oriented. Canonical discriminant function analysis indicated that the 5 stages were importantly discriminated by BMI, self efficacy, internal disease prevention and external disease prevention for males and by fat intake, self efficacy and external disease cure variables for females. The results of our study confirm differences in stages of change in fat intake in terms of nutritional status and beliefs on heath behavior and indicate the need for taking these phases of change into account in nutrition advice.
