액체막형 구리이온 선택성 전극의 제작과 전위차적정에의 응용 (Preparation of a Liquid Membrance Type Ion-Selective Electrode and Its Application to the Potentiometric Titration)

  • 액체막형 구리이온 선택성 전극의 제작과 전위차적정에의 응용을 연구하였다. 액체 이온교환막은 수용액속의 Cu(II)을 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol/nitrobenzene 용액 속으로 추출하여 만들었다. 액체 이온교환막 위에 HAc-NaAc 용액으로 완충된 $1.00 {\times} 10^{-3}M\;Cu(NO_3)_2$ 용액을 채우고 Ag/AgCl 내부 기준전극을 담그었다. 이 이온선택성 전극은 $1.00 {\times} 10^{-6}$ ~ $1.00 {\times} 10^{-3}$M Cu(II) 농도 범위에서 nerstian response를 보여주었다. 가장 적절한 이온교환체의 농도는 $1.00 {\times} 10^{-4}$M이었다. 여러가지 금속이온에 대한 이온선택성 전극의 선택계수를 측정하였다. EDTA를 적정제로 하여 Cu(II)에 대한 전위차적정에 응용하였다.

도시부 도로에서 주행차량의 횡방향 이격량 분석을 통한 곡선부 차로폭 연구 (A Study on Lane Width of Curved Section by Sway Distance Analysis of Running Vehicle on Urban Roads)

  • 본 연구에서는 도시부도로의 곡선구간에서 주행차량의 횡방향 이격량을 분석하여 차량 주행에 필요한 최소 소요차로폭을 산정하였으며 본 연구결과와 선행연구에서 제시된 직선구간에서의 최소 소요차로폭을 비교 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 도로의 선형과 차종에 따라 곡선구간에서의 최소 소요차로폭을 제시하였다. 조사대상 곡선구간 도로의 차로폭은 2.79m~3.40m이다. 주행차량의 횡방향 이격량의 분포 및 조사대상 차량의 85%를 기준으로 누적분포를 분석하였다. 분석결과 곡선구간에서의 최소 소요차로폭이 소형차량의 경우 2.31m~2.58m, 대형차량의 경우 2.80m~3.27m로 산정되었다. 본 연구결과는 녹색교통 도입을 위한 공간, 도로공사 중, 소형차 전용도로의 건설 등에 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 또한 설계자의 목적에 따라 유연한 차로폭 설계기준의 적용에 필요한 기초적인 연구로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • GaAs solar cells may be the most attractive and efficient power source of a satellite. GaAs is more radiation tolerant and less temperature sensitive than widely used silicon. $Al_{x}$ Ga$_{1-x}$ As/GaAs solar cells have been designed and fabricated by Liquid Phase Epitaxial method. GaAs solar cells, of which structure is about 0.2 .mu.m p$^{+}$ - window layer, 0.6-1.O .mu.m Ge-doped p-layer. 3.mu.m n-GaAs layer and n$^{+}$ - buffer layer, have been characterized as a function of operating temperature from 25 .deg.C to 130 .deg.C. Open circuit voltage decreases linearly with increasing temperature by 1.4-1.51 mV/ .deg.C while degradation of silicon solar cells is about 2.2-2.5 mV/ .deg.C, short circuit current does not increase much with increasing temperature. Relative efficiency decreases with increasing of temperature by about 0.21-0.29 %/ .deg.C. Efficiency degradation of silicon solar cells with temperature is known to be about 0.5%/ .deg.C and our results show GaAs solar cells may be an excellent candidate for concentrated solar cells.ells.

Modulation of Outward Potassium Currents by Nitric Oxide in Longitudinal Smooth Muscle Cells of Guinea-pig Ileum

  • To investigate the possible involvement of outward potassium ($K^+$) currents in nitric oxide-induced relaxation in intestinal smooth muscle, we used whole-cell patch clamp technique in freshly dispersed guinea-pig ileum longitudinal smooth muscle cells. When cells were held at -60 mV and depolarized from -40 mV to -50 mV in 10 mV increments, sustained outward $K^+$ currents were evoked. The outward $K^+$ currents were markedly increased by the addition of 10 ${\mu}M$ sodium nitroprusside (SNP). 10 ${\mu}M$ S-nitroso-N-acetylpenicillamine (SNAP) and 1 mM 8-Bromo-cyclic GMP (8-Br-cGMP) also showed a similar effect to that of SNP. 1 mM tetraethylammonium (TEA) significantly reduced depolarization-activated outward $K^+$ currents. SNP-enhanced outward $K^+$ currents were blocked by the application of TEA. High EGTA containing pipette solution (10 mM) reduced the control currents and also inhibited the SNP-enhanced outward $K^+$ currents. 5 mM 4-aminopyridine (4-AP) significantly reduced the control currents but showed no effect on SNP-enhanced outward $K^+$ currents. 0.3 ${\mu}M$ apamin and 10 ${\mu}M$ glibenclamide showed no effect on SNP-enhanced outward $K^+$ currents. 10 ${\mu}M$ 1H-[1,2,4]oxadiazolo [4,3-a]quinoxaline-1-one (ODQ), a specific inhibitor of soluble guanylate cyclase, significantly blocked SNP-enhanced $K^+$ currents. We conclude that NO donors activate the $Ca^{2+}-activated$ $K^+$ channels in guinea-pig ileal smooth muscle via activation of guanylate cyclase.

다양한 유기질비료 수준에서 Methylobacterium oryzae CBMB20의 처리에 따른 고추의 생육 평가 (Effect of Inoculation of Methylobacterium oryzae on the Growth of Red Pepper at Different Organic Fertilizer Levels)

  • 다양한 유기질비료 수준에서 Methylobacterium oryzae CBMB20의 처리가 고추의 생육촉진에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 유기질비료 권장시비수준의 70, 85, 100, 120% 시용구에서 시비량이 증가함에 따라 고추의 신장, 건물중 및 수량에서 유의성 있는 증가를 확인하였다. M. oryzae CBMB20의 접종 처리에서 고추의 생장이 증가하였으며, 고추의 수량 또한 각 유기질 비료 수준별로 10~35% 증가하였다. 수확기에 조사한 근권토양의 메탄올자화세균의 밀도는 M. oryzae CBMB20 처리구에서 2.51~2.63 log CFU $g^{-1}$ soil 이었으며, 미처리구에서는 1.0 log CFU $g^{-1}$ soil 이하로 나타났다. 따라서 접종한 M. oryzae CBMB20은 고추 작물 근권토양에 효과적으로 군집하였으며, 식물생장촉진 호르몬의 분비 등의 작용을 통한 작물생장촉진효과를 발휘한 것으로 판단된다. M. oryzae CBMB20을 접종하지 않은 경우에는 고추의 최대 생장과 수량이 유기질 비료 권장시비 수준 120%에서 나타났으나, M. oryzae CBMB20을 접종한 경우에는 최대 생장과 수량이 권장시비 수준에서 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 식물생장촉진미생물의 접종을 통하여 비료 사용량의 절감 가능성을 제시하는 것이며, 식물생장 촉진 미생물 제제로서 M. oryzae CBMB20의 활용이 가능하리라 사료된다.

콩의 Lipoxygenase-1 신속 검정방법 확립 (Studies on Various Test Conditions and Application of Test Method for Lipoxygenase-l in Soybean)

  • 본 실험은 lipoxygenase-1 효소 검정을 위한 관련요인 구명과 새로운 검정방법의 활용성을 확립함으로써 무두취 콩품종 육성사업에 도움이 될 수 있는 자료를 얻고저 수행되었다. 1. 기질용액의 완충제로서 Tris나 potassium borate가 효과적이었고 그중 0.1M potassium brate가 lipoxygenase-1의 검정에 있어 가장 효과적이었으며 적정 pH의 범위는 pH 8.5~9.0 이었다. 2. 기질인 linoleic acid의 적정 농도는 2mM이었고 기질용액은 4$^{\circ}C$ 냉장고에서 10일 정도 실온상태에서 4일 정도까지 안전하게 보관하면서 사용할 수 있었다. 3. 콩 종실의 lipoxygenase-1 유무 여부의 확인을 위한 가장 적당한 검정방법은 종피와 배가 제거되고 얇게 자른 반립의 종자를 1.5ml크기의 plastic tube에 넣고 기질용액(0.1M potassium borate (pH 9.0), 0.1% Tween-20, 2mM linoleic acid)을 1ml 첨가해 주고 15분 경과 후 포화된 KI 용액이 5% 함유된 15% acetic acid와 1% 전분용액을 각각 100$\mu$l씩 첨가한 뒤 4시간 후에 상층액의 발색반응을 관찰하는 것으로 판명 되었다. 4. Lipoxygenase-1이 존재하는 종실의 상층액에서는 보라색 발색반응을 보였고 lipoxygenase-1이 결핍된 종실의 상층액에서는 우유빛이 나타났으며 lipoxygenase-2와 3의 간섭효과는 없었다. 보라색 발색은 4시간부터 24시간까지 안정하였고 발색용액(KI와 starch)첨가한 뒤에는 plastic tube를 흔들림없이 유지시켜야 했다.

콘크리트포장 위 아스팔트 덧씌우기용 택코팅 재료의 접착강도특성 연구 (Investigation into Bonding Characteristics of Tack Coat Materials for Asphalt Overlay on Concrete Pavement)

  • PURPOSES: The performance of tack coat, commonly used for layer interface bonding, is affected by application rate and curing time. In this study, bonding strength tests were performed according to the application rate and curing time of asphalt emulsion. Based on finding from this study, optimum application rates and curing times are proposed. METHODS: In order to investigate bonding characteristic of asphalt emulsion, tests were performed on both asphalt concrete pavement and portland concrete pavement. Also, asphalt emulsions were tested at the application rate of 0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, and $0.8{\ell}/m^2$ and at the curing time of 0, 0.5, 1, 2, and 24 hours. Pull-off test and shear bonding strength test, which commonly used for bonding strength measurement of asphalt emulsion, were adopted for this study. To assess field performance under different testing condition, asphalt emulsions were applied to in-service pavement. Throughout coefficient of determination analysis between material index properties from asphalt emulsion and mechanical response from bonding strength tests, performance correlativity was analyzed. RESULTS: Test results show that optimum application rate for asphalt overlay on asphalt concrete pavement (AOA) and asphalt overlay on concrete pavement (AOC) was $0.4{\sim}0.5{\ell}/m^2$ and $0.3{\sim}0.5{\ell}/m^2$, respectively. According to the curing time increment, tensile strength and shear strength of AOC were increased to 22~44% and 20~39%, respectively. AOA case also show strength increment in tensile strength (42%) and shear strength (9%). We tested the applicability of tack coat materials at the field sites, and our findings demonstrated that the bonding (for D and E) and rapid curing (for B, C, and D, E) performances were superior than others. Among material index properties, there was a high correlation between penetration ratio and bonding strength test result. CONCLUSIONS : Result show that interlayer bonding strength was affected by asphalt emulsion type, application rate and curing time. AOC required slightly higher application ($0.1{\ell}/m^2$) than AOA. Both AOA and AOC cases show higher strength at longer curing time. Up to 2hours of curing, rapid strength increments were observed, but strength increment ratio was decreased after 2hours of curing. From the observed correlation between penetration ratio and bonding strength, it is expected that penetration ratio can be used as one of important factors affecting bonding strength analysis.

  • 본 논문은 802.113 무선 근거리 통신망 (wireless LAN)용 5.25GHz SiGe 저잡음 증폭기 (LNA)의 설계에 대해 다루고 있다. 이러한 저잡음 증폭기는 2단 구조를 가지고, 1V의 공급전압에서 동작하며, 0.18$\mu\textrm{m}$ SiGe 공정으로 제작되어 있다. 이는 5.25GHz의 동작주파수에서 17㏈의 전압이득, 2.7㏈의 잡음지수, -l5㏈의 반사계수, -5㏈m의 IIP3 및 -14㏈m의 1㏈ compression point와 같은 우수한 동작특성을 보였다. 바이어스 회로에서 소모되는 0.5mW를 포함하여 전체회로에서 소모되는 총전력은 7mW였다.

Studies on Equilibria and Analytical Applications of Synergistic Solvent Extraction(II). Determination of Trace Lithium in Sea Water using TTA and TOPO

  • An application of synergistic solvent extraction for the etermination of trace lithium in sea water has been studied by forming an adduct complex of thenoyltrifluoroacetone (TTA) and trioctylphosphine oxide (TOPO) in a solvent. The interference by major constituents in sea water was eliminated by phosphate precipitation. Ex-perimental conditions such as solution pH, concentrations of TTA and TOPO etc. were optimized in synthetic sea water with similar compositionto its natural counterpart. To eliminate the interference, 1.38g of ammoni-um dihydrogen phosphate and 2.5 mL of ammonia water were added into 100 mL of thediluted solution at $60^{\circ}C$ to form the phosphate precipitates of Ca2+ and Mg2+ ions. After the pH of this filtrate was adjusted to 8.0, 10.0 mL of m-xylene containing 0.1 M TTA and 0.05 M TOPO was added to the solution in a separatory funnel, and the solution was shaken vigorously for 20 minutes. The solvent was separated from the aqueous solution, and 20 uL of m-xylene solution was injected into a gaphite tube to measure the absorbance by GF-AAS. The detection limit was 0.42 ng/mL. Lithium was determined within the range of 146 to 221 ng/mLin Korean coast-al sea waters, and the recoveries in the spiked samples were 94 to 106%.

직무피폭의 선량제약치에 관한 연구: 분야별 전문가 의견 중심으로 (A Study on the Dose Constraints for Occupational Exposure: Focusing on Expert Opinions by Field of Ridiation Industry)

  • A Study on the Introduction of Dose Constraints for Occupational Exposures: Focusing on Experts' Opinions by Field of Radiation Industry. The International Commission on Radiological Protection suggests Justification, Optimization, and Dose Limits as the three principles of radiological protection, among which, as a means of protection optimization, ICRP 103 recommends to set dose constraints. In this study, opinions are collected from experts in each category of radiation industries for stakeholder participation to qualify dose constraints. A guidance and questionnaire for analyzing the dose constraints have been developed for their collection, and opinions were collected from radiation protection experts in selected categories. 20 out of 22 experts, consisted with 91%, have assessed the dose constraints setting is necessary, and 2 experts, consisted with 9%, assessed it is unnecessary. The average of dose constraint presented by experts for RI production institutions is to be the highest level of 15.3 mSv, and light-water reactors (14.6 mSv), non-destructive inspection (14.4 mSv), heavy-water reactor and medical institutes (13.9mSv) is to be above the overall average dose constraint. In case of public institutions, the average dose constraint is to be 8.6mSv, and research institutions (8.8mSv), educational institutions (9.6 mSv), waste disposal sites (9.7 mSv), and general industries (10.6 mSv) are resulted to below the overall average dose constraint. As for the means of setting dose constraints, 8 experts out of 22 suggested setting dose constraints for each specific industry or task. And, 5 experts especially suggest setting dose constraints for the specific groups with relatively high exposure, such as workers with above the record levels. As a countermeasure for workers who exceed the dose constraints, 15 experts out of 22 expressed that the cause analyses for them and preparation for a plan of reducing them are necessary.
