Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report two cases of improvement in meniscal injury induced knee pain after M.S.T(Motion Style Treatment). Methods : Two patients diagnosed as meniscal injury were improved by M.S.T(Motion Style Treatment). This study was measured by Numerical Rating Scale(NRS) score and physical examination. Results : In this study, in the end of continuous M.S.T(Motion Style Treatment), patient's knee pain had improved. Numerical Rating Scale(NRS) were also decreased. Conclusions : As seen in this two cases of patients of knee pain who were diagnosed as meniscal injury, M.S.T(Motion Style Treatment) has a positive effect to control pain with knee pain who are diagnosed as meniscal injury.

Object : The purpose of this study is to report the improvement of Tempormandibular Disorder patients who were treated by M.S.T(Motion Style Treatment). Methods : The clinical study was done on 3 cases of patients with tempormandibular disorder we checked the diameter between the maxilla and mandible with jaws fully opened, and also checked NRS score after the treatment of M.S.T(Motion Style Treatment) each day. Results & Conclusion : The diameter of the open mouth increased after the treatment of M.S.T(Motion Style Treatment), whereas NRS score decreased after the treatment of M.S.T(Motion Style Treatment). It is concluded that the M.S.T might be effective to the patient with tempormandibular disorder.

Objectives : the purpose of this study is to report the improvement of HIVD patients with gait difficulty, who treated by M.S.T(Motion Style Treatment) Methods : the clinical study was done on 3 cases of patients with disc extrusion, whose walking ability was not improved after the admission in Ja-Seng Oriental Medicine Hospital for a week. we checked the walking time and NRS score after the treatment of M.S.T(Motion Style Treatment) each day. Results : the walking time increased after the treatment of M.S.T(Motion Style Treatment). Whereas NRS score decreased after the treatment of M.S.T(Motion Style Treatment). after 2-3 weeks of treatment, 3 cases of patients could walk more than 20 minutes.

We checked VNRS score after the treatment of M.S.T.(Motion Style Treatment) each day, and checked ODI score at admission and discharge. Results : VNRS score and ODI score decreased after the treatment of M.S.T.(Motion Style Treatment)

본 증례 2례 모두 요통(腰痛), 좌하지인통(左下肢引痛)을 호소하며 좌족하수(左足下垂)를 동반하여 내원했으며, L-spine MRI상 L4-5, L5-S1의 추간판탈출증을 진단받은 경우로, 외상의 병력이 없었고 이로 미루어 보아 L5 신경근과 S1 신경근 손상으로 발생된 족하수(足下垂)로 진단하였다. 입원치료 중 추나요법과 추나약물요법으로 요통(腰痛)과 하지부(下肢部) 인통(引痛)은 소설되었으나 족하수(足下垂)는 별다른 호전을 보이지 않아 족하수(足下垂)치료를 위해 M.S.T.를 시행하여 족배굴근력이 건측에 비해 <증례1>의 경우 30%에서 70%로, <증례2>의 경우 10%에서 70%의 향상을 나타내었다. 그리고 치료기간 중 SLR 검사와 족하수(足下垂)와의 상관관계는 발견할 수 없었으며, 호전속도는 Disc 탈출정도와 연관성이 있었다. 하지만 저자가 관찰, 치료한 본 증례 2례는 그 해당 임상증례가 많지 않았기에 향후 좀 더 다양한 임상증례와 비교연구가 뒤따라야 할 것이다.

본 증례는 요각통 환자에게 다양한 한방치료를 시술하였으나 별무호전인 경우 M.T.S요법을 추가로 시행함으로써 양호한 결과를 보인 임상례이다. 요통환자가 장기간의 치료에도 차도가 없거나 호전에 미미했을 때 물론 의사의 마음에도 불가피하게 수술을 해야 될 것이라는 생각이 떠오르게 된다. 하지만 수술을 해야 할 것인지 혹은 하지 말아야 할 것인지 결정을 내리기 전에 충분히 다른 치료법을 시행해 볼 필요가 있다. 이에 저자는 장기간의 치료에도 차도가 없거나 호전이 미미한 요통 환자에게 M.S.T 요법을 시행할 경우 양호한 결과를 얻으리라 사료되어 보고하는 바이다.
