고강도와 보통 강도 콘크리트를 사용한 보-기둥 접합부의 휨강성화에 따른 이력거동 (The Effect of The Flexural Strength Ratio on Beam-Column Joint with High and Low Strength Concrete)

  • ACI318-89 Recommended that when the specified compressive strength of concrete in a column is greater than1.4 times that specified for a floor system, top surface of the column concrete shall extend 2ft(600mm)into the slab from the face of column to avoid unexpected brittle failure. The major variables are extension distance, flexural strength ratio(Mr), and shear reinforcement ratio(Vs). Test results are as follows ; (1) The failure modes of specimens under cyclic loading were concentrated at critical region from beam-column joint face. (2) Ductility index($\mu$f) were increased with increasing of shear confinement ratio and flexural strength ratio. (3)The specimens with 2ft extension distance showed more ductility than the specimens with 1ft extension distance.

Ethyl Silicate로부터 Silicon Nitride의 합성(I) (Synthesis of Silicon Nitride from Ethyl Silicate(I))

  • Mixtures of carbon and silica (about 0.46${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$) which was synthesized by the hydrolysis of ethyl silicate, the molar ratio of silica/carbon was fixed as 1/10(weight ratio : 1/2), were nitrided in the temperature range 135$0^{\circ}C$~150$0^{\circ}C$. The phse of the product Si3N4 was $\alpha$ phase and the morphology was hexagnoal prism and the nitridation reaction was completed in 5 hrs at 150$0^{\circ}C$ or 7hrs at 145$0^{\circ}C$. The reaction rate above 150$0^{\circ}C$ was diffusion-controlled, following Jander equation. Activation energy Q was derived from the Arrhenius plot and the value was about 101kcal/mol. Axis ratio of Lattice constants(c/a) was 0.726 and unit volume was $\AA$3, the larger the molar ratio of carbon/Alkoxide was, the smaller the particle size of $\alpha$Si3N4 was.

규제대상 다중이용시설내 부유세균의 분포 특성에 관한 현장 조사 (Field Study of Characteristics of Airborne Bacteria Distributed in the Regulated Public Facilities)

  • Concentration and identification of airborne bacteria in the regulated public facilities were examined with the six-stage cascade impactor. Geometric mean total and respirable concentrations of airborne bacteria were $404cfu/m^3$ and $194cfu/m^3$ in hospital, $931cfu/m^3$ and $358cfu/m^3$ in kindergarten, $294cfu/m^3$ and $134cfu/m^3$ in day-care center, and $586cfu/m^3$ and $254cfu/m^3$ in postpartum nurse center, respectively. As a result, culturable total and respirable concentrations of airborne bacteria were significantly highest in kindergarten and lowest in day-care center (p<0.05). The ratio of respirable to total concentration of airborne bacteria in the investigated public facilities was ranged from 30% to 40% but there was no significant difference among them (p>0.05). The mean I/O ratio of culturable total and respirable concentrations were 0.58 and 0.66 in hospital, 0.71 and 0.83 in kindergarten, 0.28 and 0.41 in day-care center, and 0.63 and 0.78 in postpartum nurse center, respectively. Day-care center showed the lowest I/O ratio of culturable total and respirable concentration of airborne bacteria (p<0.05) but a significant difference was not found among other facilities. Indoor concentration of airborne bacteria did not correlated significantly with indoor temperature and relative humidity (p>0.05) but had a significant positive correlation with $CO_2$ and surrounding condition (p<0.05). Staphylococcus spp., Micrococcus spp., Corynebacterium spp., and Bacillus spp. were dominant genera and amounted to over 95% of total airborne bacteria identified in the investigated public facilities. Size distributions of four dominant genera did not observed inconsistently regardless of type of public facility.

  • We give pressure stimulation into organic thin films and then manufacture a device under the accumulation condition that the state surface pressure is 20[mN/m]. LB layers of Arac. acid deposited by LB method were deposited onto y-type silicon wafer as x, y, z-type film. In processing of a device manufacture, we can see the process is good from the change of a surface pressure for organic thin films and transfer ratio of area per molecule. The structure of manufactured device is Au/arachidic acid/Al, the number of accumulated layers. Also, we then examined of the MIM device by means of I-V. The I-V characteristic of the device is measured from 0 to +2[V].

동해 극전선의 영양염류 순환과정 II. 1995년 동계 입자태 유기탄소 및 유기질소의 분포 (Regeneration Processes of Nutrients in the Polar Front Area of the East Sea II. Distribution of Particulate Organic Carbon and Nitrogen in Winter, 1995)

  • 본 연구는 부경대학교 해양탐사선인 탐양호를 이용하여 1995년 2월 14일에서 17일까지 실시하였다 수온, 염분 및 용존산소를 이용한 T-S diagram 및 $T-O_2$ diagram 으로부터 수괴는 5개의 Type으로 구분되었다. 특히 T-S diagram에서는 잘 구분되지 않았던 Type IV와 Type V는 $T-O_2$ diagram에서 뚜렷이 구분되었다. 하지만 기존 수괴와 명확히 일치하지 않는 것은 본 조사가 동계에 실시되어 표층수온의 감소로 인하여 수괴의 수직혼합이 강하게 일어나서 생긴 현상으로 사료된다. 영양염류의 수괴별 농도분포를 보면, Type I, Type II, Type III은 서로 거의 비슷한 농도를 보였지만 Type IV에서 Type V로 갈수록 증가되었다. 그리고 동일 수괴에서 농도범위가 넓게 나왔는데, 이는 수온약층의 약화로 인하여 발생한 것으로 생각된다. N/P ratio은 모든 water type에서 Redfield ratio 이하로 나타났는데, 이것은 질산염이 식물플랑크톤 성장의 제한인자로 작용하고 있음을 보여주고 있다. chlorophyll $\alpha$의 농도는 $0\~8\;{\mu}g/\ell$의 범위로, Type I에서 최대였고 Type IV와 Type V에서는 거의 검출되지 않았다. 입자성 유기탄소와 유기질소의 농도는 각각 $0.49\~20.03\;{\mu}g-at/\ell$$0.09\~5.34\;{\mu}g-at/\ell$ 범위로서, 수심의 증가에 따라 그 농도가 감소하고, 연안에서 외양쪽으로 갈수록 낮아지는 경향이었다. Water type별 농도는 Type I > Type II > Type III > Type IV > Type V의 순서로 수심의 증가에 따라 농도가 증가하는 경향이었다. 즉 이들 입자성 유기물질은 수괴별로 어떤 뚜렷한 경향을 보이지는 않았으며, 수심에 따라서 농도가 변화되는 것으로 생각된다. POC/PON의 원자비는 3.23으로 Redfield ratio 이하로 나타났다. 이것은 POC보다 PON이 더 난분해성이라 침강하는 동안 POC는 분해되지만 수직혼합에 의해 PON은 다시 재부유하기 때문인 것으로 사료된다. POC/chlorophyll $\alpha$의 평균값은 1962로 매우 높은 값을 나타내었으며, non-living detritus가 POC의 대부분을 차지하고 있는 것으로 판단된다.

18F-FDG와 99mTcO4-를 이용한 당일 검사 시 상호 영향에 대한 Phantom 연구 (Phantom Study of the Mutual Influences Between 18F-FDG and 99mTcO4- on the Same Day)

  • 핵의학 검사는 반감기로 인한 동위원소의 잔류로 당일에 두 가지 검사를 시행하는데 어려움이 있다. 본 연구는 $^{18}F$-FDG와 $^{99m}TcO_4{^-}$의 상호 영향을 연구함으로써 당일 검사를 진행할 경우 고려될 사항에 대해 알아보고자 한다. NEMA-1994 Phantom을 이용하여 세 번의 실험을 진행했다. 첫 실험은 $^{99m}TcO_4{^-}$을 HOT과 BKG 비 4:1로 만들어 GE사의 INFINIA 장비로 SPECT를 시행하였고, BKG 영역에 $^{18}F$-FDG 37 MBq을 주입 후 동일 조건으로 60분에 1회씩 13회 Scan 했다. 두 번째는 $^{18}F$-FDG를 HOT과 BKG 비 4:1 로 만들어 GE사의 PET/CT Discovery 600 에서 Scan 하였고, BKG 영역에 $^{99m}TcO_4{^-}$을 148 MBq 주입 후 동일 조건으로 60분에 1회씩 6회 Scan 했다. 마지막 실험은 $^{18}F$-FDG를 HOT과 BKG 비 4 : 1로 만들고 1 Bed Scan 후 $^{99m}TcO_4{^-}$을 148 MBq 및 296 MBq씩 증가 시키며 같은 조건으로 1 Bed Scan했다. HOT과 BKG 영역의 비, CNR 혹은 SNR 그리고 총 획득 계수를 측정 후 비교 했다. $^{18}F$-FDG는 SPECT 시행 시 비율 및 CNR에 유의한 차이를 보였다(p>0.05). $^{99m}TcO_4{^-}$는 PET/CT 시행 시 비율 및 SNR이 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다(p<0.05). $^{99m}TcO_4{^-}$이 PET/CT 검사의 Total Counts를 감소시킨다는 결과를 획득했다. PET/CT 검사를 한 경우 12시간 까지도 $^{99m}TcO_4{^-}$을 이용한 검사에 영향을 미칠 수 있으며, $^{99m}TcO_4{^-}$를 먼저 시행한 경우에는 PET/CT 검사에 SUV 및 SNR에 영향은 없지만 검출 효율을 감소시켰다. 당일 검사 시에는 $^{99m}TcO_4{^-}$을 이용한 검사를 먼저 진행하고 PET/CT의 검사 시간을 늘려 검출 효율을 보완하는 방법을 권장하고자 한다.

SUPERLUBRICITY IN CARBON FILMS

  • This paper describes a new carbon film that afford superlubricity (i.e, friction coefficients of 0.001- 0.005) and superlow wear rates (i.e., $10^{-11}-10^{-10}mm^3/N.m$) to sliding metallic and ceramic surfaces, when tested in inert test environments. The wear life of these films are more than 1000 km even under very high contact pressures (i.e., 1-3 GPa) and at a wide range of sliding velocities (i.e., 0.1 to 2 m/s). They are produced in a plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition system at room temperature using highly hydrogenated gas discharge plasmas. Extensive research has shown that films grown in highly hydrogenated gas discharge plasmas (i.e., hydrogen-to-carbon ratio of 6 and above) provide superlow friction and wear coefficients. In full paper, specific conditions under which superlubricity can be achieved in carbon films will be discussed.and a mechanistic model will be proposed to explain the superlubricity of new carbon films.

Energy Metabolism and Methane Production in Faunated and Defaunated Sheep Fed Two Diets with Same Concentrate to Roughage Ratio (70:30) but Varying in Composition

  • Two calorimetric experiments were performed to investigate the effects of two diets with same concentrate: roughage ratio (70:30) but varying in composition on energy metabolism and methane production in faunated (F) and defaunated (DF) Muzaffarnagari sheep. For experiment I, ten animals were divided equally into two groups of which one was kept normally F as such while other was DF using 10% sodium lauryl sulphate. All the animals were offered diet I which comprised of oat hay and concentrate mixture I (CM I) containing maize grain (93%) as a major ingredient in 70:30 ratio. Similarly, the experiment II was conducted for which four F and four DF sheep (same as used for experiment I) were switched to diet II that consisted of maize hay and CM II (maize grain 59% + molasses 36%). Through diet II, DM intake in DF sheep was significantly (p<0.05) lower. Intake of GE through both the diets was similar in F and DF sheep. Digestibility of DM, OM, CP and GE and also metabolisability (ME/GE) was similar in F and DF sheep on both the diets. Total urinary energy loss did not differ in F and DF on both the diets, but methane energy loss as a percent of GE in DF was significantly (p<0.05) lower on diet I (3.75 vs 2.48), while it did not differ on diet II (3.20 vs 3.60). Heat production was significantly (p<0.01) reduced in DF on both the diets. Although, efficiency of utilisation of ME for maintenance calculated as per ARC (1984) did not differ in F and DF on both the diets, efficiency for maintenance and growth was higher (0.60 vs 0.672) on diet I in DF. It was inferred that methane production in DF sheep reduces on good quality hay-based diet supplemented with slowly fermentable carbohydrate (maize grain) but supplementation of molasses (rapidly fermentable CHO) nullify this effect when sheep were fed diets with concentrate: roughage ratio of 70:30.

MasPar 머쉰상의 병렬 힙 병합 알고리즘 (A Parallel Algorithm for Merging Heaps on MasPar Machine)

  • 본 논문은 크기가 n와 k인 nheap과 kheap을 병합시키기 위한 병렬 알고리즘을 제 시함과 동시에 그들을 MasPar상에 실제로 구현하고자 하는데 그 주된 목적이 있다. 이때, EREW-PRAM(Exclusive-Read Exclusive-Write Parallel Random Acess Machin)상에 서 max(2$^{-1}$, $\ulcorner$(m+1)/4$\lrcorner$개의 프로세서를 이용해서 본 논문에 제시된 알고리즘 의 시간 복잡도가 O(log(n/k)*log(n))임을 제시하였다. 여기서 i는 heap의 height를 뜻하며, m은 크기 n과 k의 합으로 구성된 것이다. 또한 이것을 MasPar 컴퓨터에 적용 을 시켰을 때, 테이타의 양이 8백만개이고, 64개의 프로세서를 이용한 경우의 speedup 을 33.934를 얻었다. 이때 적용된 데이타의 형태는 불완전 힙상에서 크기가 k〈n를 지 니는 경우의 처리이다. 그리고 이같이 제시된 알고리즘의 EPU(Effective Processor Utilization)을 계산하면 1인 최적의 speedup율을 나타냄을 알 수가 있다.

J-적분과 균열선단개구변위에 관한 구속계수 m의 평가 (An Estimation of Constraint Factor on the ${\delta}_t$ Relationship)

  • This paper investigates the relationship between J-integral and crack tip opening displacement, ${\delta}_t$ using Gordens results of numerical analysis. Estimation were carried out for several strength levels such as ultimate, flow, yield, ultimate-flow, flow-yield stress to determine the influence of strain hardening and the ratio of crack length to width on the $J-{\delta}_t$ relationship. It was found that for SE(B) specimens, the $J-{\delta}_t$ relationship can be applied to relate J to ${\delta}_t$ as follows $J=m_j{\times}{\sigma}_i{\times}{\delta}_t$ where $m_j=1.27773+0.8307({\alpha}/W)$, ${\sigma}_i:{\sigma}_U$, ${\sigma}_{U-F}={\frac{1}{2}} ({\sigma}_U+{\sigma}_F$), ${\sigma}_F$, ${\sigma}_F}$ $Y=({\sigma}_F+{\sigma}_Y)$, ${\sigma}_Y$
