명품 패션 제품의 브랜드 일치성과 구매의도의 구조적 관계: Self-Construal의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The structural relationship between brand consistency and intention to purchase luxury fashion products: with a focus on the mediating effect of self-construal)

  • 명품 패션 제품은 시대가 지나도 꾸준한 소비자를 확보하고 있으며, 최근에는 시장의 폭도 매우 넓어지고 구매하는 연령층도 다양하게 변화하고 있다. 명품제품을 구매하고자 하는 의도는 그 제품과의 브랜드 일치성이 많은 작용을 하고 있다는 기존 연구들의 결론을 바탕으로 본인 브랜드 일치성과 구매의도와의 관계에서 Self-Construal의 매개효과 분석에 대해 살펴보았다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 18.0과, AMOS 20.0을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, self-construal에 영향을 미치는 일치성으로는 사회적 일치성, 실제적 일치성, 이상적 일치성의 순으로 나타났으며, 둘째, self-construal에 대한 매개효과 분석결과, self-construal은 구매의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 결과와 실제적, 이상적 일치성과 구매의도의 관계에서 self-construal은 부분매개효과만 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 소비자들은 명품 패션 제품을 구매 할 때 브랜드에 대해 자신이 바라는 사회적 역할의 수행에 도움을 주는 도구로 인식하는 성향보다는 자신의 이미지를 표현해 주며 자신이 인지하는 모습과 선택한 브랜드가 일치하는 성향을 더 바라는 것으로 해석할 수 있다. 결과적으로 브랜드를 소비하는 소비자 개인의 개성과 주관적인 환경적 여건이 잘 나타내어지기를 원하는 것으로 볼 수 있으며, 개성을 나타내지 못하는 경향에 대해 더 돋보이게 할 수 있는 자기만의 가치에 중점을 두고 있다는 것을 의미한다.

패션명품에 대한 소비자의 브랜드 동일시가 브랜드 애착에 미치는 영향: 자기 감시와 사회적 자아존중감의 조절 효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of Consumer's Brand Identification about Luxury Fashion Brand on Brand Attachment: The Moderating Effect of Self-Monitoring and Social Self-Esteem)

  • The purposes of this study were to examine the effect of consumers brand identification of a luxury fashion brand on brand attachment and to determine the moderating influences of self-monitoring and social self-esteem on this effect. For this study, a questionnaire was developed through a literature search. The developed survey was then conducted by means of on-line and off-line questionnaires. Data from 228 women with experience in buying luxury fashion brands was analyzed with descriptive statistics, Cronbach a, factor analysis, regression, two-way one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and t -test using SPSS for Windows 21.0. First, the brand identification of consumer was composed three factors; actual, ideal, social identification. The brand attachment was composed five factors; emotional, dependency, attraction, intellectual curiosity, and general interest. Second, it was shown that brand identification has a positive influence on brand attachment. Third, it was also shown that there is a moderating influence from self-monitoring on the effect of consumer's brand-identification of a luxury fashion brand on brand attachment. Interaction effect between consumer's brand-identification and self-monitoring was found out to be meaningful at brand affect. Fourth, there was an additional moderating effect from social self-esteem on this effect. Interaction effect between consumer's brand-identification and social self-esteem was found out to be meaningful at brand affect.

  • This study aims to find out the influence of brand awareness and preference of collaboration products created by SPA and luxury brands using specific examples of collaborations, which are now becoming prevelent in the fashion industry. For this study, data collection was carried out through a distribution of 350 copies of the questionnaire, 333 responses were used for data analysis. Using a statistical package program with SPSS, a frequency analysis, a factor analysis, and a multiple regression analysis were conducted. The results of this study are summarized as follows. Awareness and preferences of the SPA and luxury brands lead collaboration products to be preferred. In addition, consumers happen to have more favorable attitudes regarding the purchase of collaboration products. This means that matching brands with high preference is a very important factor to create profits from the collaboration products as awareness and the preference are important factors for the success of projects. In particular, the recognition and preference of luxury brands was found to have greater impact on the preference and recognition of collaboration the SPA brands. Accordingly, brands should expand and actively collaborate through a variety of methods and support proper collaborations that fit their image.

패션 복제품 태도가 명품 브랜드 관련 변인에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Effect of Attitude toward Fashion Counterfeits on Variables Related to Luxury Brand)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of attitudes toward fashion counterfeits on brand attachment and equity. Four hundred-eight female college students in Seoul and its suburb responded for this study. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, factor analysis, and multiple regression were used for this study. The results of this study were as follows. First, attitude toward fashion counterfeits was classified into three factors such as goodwill, approve of purchase, and counterfeit quality factors. Second, brand attachment was classified into four factors such as love, interest, perception and trust factors. Third, brand equity was classified into five factors such as loyalty, quality, image and recognition factors. Generally, attitudes toward fashion counterfeits factors were correlated with lower scores on brand attachment and brand equity. Finally, the results revealed that attitudes toward fashion counterfeits had a negative effect on brand attachment and equity. Brand attachment had a positive effect on brand equity, and also brand attachment and brand equity had a positive effect on purchasing intention. Based on these results, fashion brand marketing strategies would be suggested.

메종 마르지엘라의 크리에이티브 디렉션에 관한 고찰 - 존 갈리아노를 중심으로 - (Creative Direction for Maison Margiela - John Galliano as a Case Study -)

  • As consumption pattern and fashion communication become digitalized, fashion houses are being inherited by creative directors owing to their expanding role. While the roles and responsibilities of creative directors have been changing extensively along with the dynamic nature of the fashion industry, researches on creative directions have mostly focused on luxury brands. This study examined the creative direction of John Galliano for Maison Margiela, a conceptual brand to be maintained by a creative director. To analyze this, the authors established a creative direction analysis model constituting five elements: brand heritage, trend, democratization, brand status, and persona, drawing on the luxury brand architecture by Kapferer and Bastien. Thus, Galliano has maintained anonymity as a heritage of Maison Margiela, expanding the existing Replica lines, and introduced fashion shows focusing on current issues or social phenomena. As a democratization strategy, he directed the brand to associate with more popular brands or expanded diffusion lines to secure broader customer base, while demonstrating couturier-like showmanship in the media and establishing his own persona. His direction for Maison Margiela recreates and expands brand heritage by transforming the brand philosophy. Therefore the new creative direction communicates with the wider public and diversifies customer bases through democratization strategies, while building Galliano's own persona.

A Plan to Vitalize the Companion Animal Fashion Market using Domestically Produced Fabrics

  • As the number of companion animals reaches 15 million in 2022, the pet wear market is expected to grow at an average annual rate of about 14.5% from KRW 1.5684 trillion in 2014 to a market size of over KRW 6 trillion in 2027. However, most of the pet clothing and various supplies currently in circulation are either cheap, low-quality products imported from China or other countries, or expensive products released by overseas luxury brands. Therefore, it is urgent to develop a brand that can compete with luxury products coming from overseas by developing premium pet fashion products using high-end functional fabrics produced domestically. This study seeks to propose ways to revitalize the domestic pet fashion market by examining the current status of global pet fashion, the domestic textile industry, and the current status of the pet fashion market. The suggestions and expected effects are as follows. First, active support is needed for the development of products using domestically produced fabrics, such as raising awareness through various subsidy projects and contests. Second, it is expected that small and medium-sized businesses will be revitalized through the production of pet fashion products using high-quality functional knit fabrics produced in northern Gyeonggi Province. Third, it is necessary to produce high-quality premium products through continuous and intensive support from the government and collaboration between large corporations and small and medium-sized enterprises. Fourth, there is an urgent need to provide opportunities to train experts for the expected effects of starting businesses and creating new jobs.

  • 在过去的10年里,奢侈品销售已经有了显著的增长. 在2007年, 奢侈品消费额已经超过1300亿美元. 在奢侈品产业中, 有超过一半的利润来自平均收入显著增长, 对奢侈品的需求快速增加的亚洲. 在这个区域购买奢侈品牌已经成为一个有趣的社会现象并为这些公司带来利润. 作为新兴的发达国家, 韩国是亚洲最有吸引力的奢侈品市场之一. 如今, 共有120个奢侈时装品牌进入了韩国市场. 这些品牌主要集中在首尔的奢侈区域, 因此竞争也十分激烈. 本文的目的是: (1) 识别奢侈品牌态度的要素. (2) 测试奢侈品牌态度对顾客资产的影响. (3) 测定奢侈品牌态度对顾客终身价值的影响 (4) 深入研究顾客资产对顾客终身价值的影响. 以前的研究已经测定物质主义, 社会需要, 经验需要, 独特需要, 适应性和时尚卷入是对奢侈品牌态度的组成要素. Richins and Dowson (1992) 认为物质主义对与产品质量相关的购买行为有影响. Nueno and Quelch (1998) 写到对奢侈品牌的拥有传递着和所有者社会地位相关的信息. 表达着一种成功和声望的形象, 是购买行为的一个要素. 经验需要被认为是消费的一个重要方面. 尤其是发展满足消费者需求的新产品. 由于奢侈品被定义为相对稀少的产品, 对这些类型产品的拥有满足消费者对独特性的需要. 本研究中, 价值资产, 关系资产和品牌资产被测试为顾客资产的驱动因素. 样本 (n=114) 是在韩国首尔的两所私立女子大学的本科生和研究生. 我们在2009年3月进行了自填式问卷调查来收集数据. 我们运用SPSS15.0来分析数据, 包括叙述性统计, 因子分析, 信赖度分析和回归分析. 通过数据分析我们得出一些结论, 首先, 经验需要和时尚卷入对参与者对奢侈品牌的态度有积极的影响. 第二, 对奢侈品牌的态度对品牌资产有积极影响. 紧随其后的是价值资产和关系资产. 但是我们没有发现奢侈品牌态度和顾客终身价值之间的显著关系. 最后, 关系资产积极影响顾客终身价值. 总而言之, 年轻消费者是重要的潜在消费群. 他们尝试不同的品牌到最终发现哪种品牌最适合自己. 奢侈品营销者使用有效的行销策略来吸引这些可获利的潜在消费者并使他们产生忠诚度并增加顾客资产和顾客终身价值.

고급레스토랑 이용고객의 체면민감성이 과시소비성향과 구매의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of the Face Sensitivity on Conspicuous Consumption and Purchase Intention - Focused on Luxury Restaurants -)

  • This study carried out empirical analysis of the effect on conspicuous consumption and purchase intention by social face sensitivity of customers who have eaten at luxury restaurants. Adult male and female customers aged 20~60 years who lived in Seoul and who had experience eating at luxury restaurants were selected as survey participants. The results of this study are as follow. First, social face sensitivity factor had a significant effect on preference for famous brands and seeking fashion. On the other hand, among social face sensitivity factors, shame consciousness had a significant effect on other-oriented conspicuous consumption. Thus, the hypothesis was partially accepted. Second, among social face sensitivity factors, other-conscious social face had a significant effect on purchase intention. Thus, the hypothesis was partially accepted. Third, preference for famous brand and seeking fashion had a significant effect on purchase intention. However, other-oriented conspicuous consumption tendency had no effect on purchase intention. Thus, the hypothesis was partially accepted. If studies on various consumption sentiment variables continue to be made, these may be usefully utilized for establishing marketing strategies of companies.

현대 패션에 나타난 Effortless Chic에 관한 연구 (A Study on Effortless Chic in Modern Fashion)

  • This study defines the concept of 'Effortless Chic' that continues to lead fashion world trends in a social climate not to bound by formalities that also consider changes in the term's meaning. Effortless Chic can be defined as behavior or fashion expressed in a refined, gracious manner, with skillfulness that does not show physical or mental efforts. Effortless Chic has the characteristics of being classic, fashionable and genderless, smartness which appropriately matches high-priced and low-priced brands, being eclectic between glamor and simplicity, or unconventional that also includes convenience, functionality, graciousness and softness. Active use of fabric with ease of care and use of design items capable of a variety of styling regardless of the season shows that effortless chic is receiving a strong attention thanks to the trend of eased TPO norm application. In conclusion, effortless chic shown in modern fashion does not mean an actual lack of endeavors as indicated by the word itself or low-priced fashion items, but can be seemed as another name for luxury represented by naturalness that hides the efforts.

현대패션에 나타난 마카쥬 기법의 업 사이클링 표현 특성 (A study on the up-cycling characteristics of the marquage paintings in contemporary fashion)

  • This study intends to present the directions for effective up-cycling design using Marquage painting through analysis of trends and the formative characteristics of fashion products. Research was conducted through a literature review (published papers, books and web site contents). Cases were analyzed by examining the contents of web sites of global luxury brands, representative workshops, and social network sites (SNS). The results of the study are categorized as follows, First, Marquage paintings are continuously used by global luxury brands and have developed as an expression of self-ownership and the personalization of one's identity. Second, fashion brands use Marquage painting as a customized service for sales. On the other hand, Marquage paintings are used as a kind of up-cycling to present old goods as brand new ones. Third, the patterns used in Marquage painting were classified into five types: geometric patterns, logo patterns, character patterns, lettering patterns, and art patterns. Moreover, formalization by Marquage patterns is represented by identification, customization, and up-cycling. Finally, to up-cycle the expressive features of Marquage- sustainability, scarcity, storytelling, and originality based on factors of up-cycling need to be reflected.
