분포질량 동흡진기가 부착된 연속체 시스템에 대한 연구 (II) (The Study of Continuous System Combined with Distributed DVA (II))

  • Large machine and structure can not be normally treated as lumped parameter system. Such machine or structure must be broken down to individual beams or panels the motion of which must be analysed before an absorber system can be designed for each element. The absorber may be a lumped parameter system or a continuous system. One of the most common elements in a machine or structure is the cantilever, and in this paper is considered the design of a continuous parameter absorber to reduce the transverse vibrations of a beam. So this paper describes the method to obtain the accurate information about combined continuous beam system with DVA. This information is obtained from the combined system's receptance. and this paper shows the convenience and useful informations when design the dynamic vibration absorber with the combined system's receptance.

  • A high-temperature superconducting 1.78 GHz bandpass filter, designed for PCS applications, is presented. The structure consists of microstrip pseudo-lumped elements, which enables miniaturization of the filter. A 5-pole microstrip filter could be realized on a 37 mm $\times$ 9 mm $LaAlO_3$ substrate, using double-sided high-temperature superconducting $YBa_2Cu_3O{7-\delta}$ thin film. This filter showed 0.7 % fractional bandwidth, 0.3 dB insertion loss, and 12 dB return loss in the passband at 60 K.

전달 행렬법과 유한요소법을 이용한 중공 크랭크축의 강제 진동 해석 (Forced Vibration Analysis of a Hollow Crankshaft by using Transfer Matrix Method and Finite Element Method)

  • As part of the effort to reduce the weight of powertrain, a hollow crankshaft has been designed. The mass reduction of the crankshaft changes the dynamic properties of the crankshaft such as moment of inertia, and torsional, bending stiffness. The purpose of this paper is to compare the dynamic behavior of the hollow crankshaft with that of the original, solid crankshaft. Global dynamic behavior of the crankshaft is analyzed bgy the transfer matrix method(TMM). The crankshaft has been modeled by 38 lumped mass and stiffness elements. The dynamic patameters of each lumped element are provided by Finite Element Method(FEM). The responses of the crankshaft from TMM are fed back as loading conditions to the Finite Element model to obtain dynamic stresses for critical areas of the crankshaft.

  • If a 4-port network is terminated by arbitrary impedances, there are great advantageges in composing systems with it. The distributed 3-dB $O^{\circ}$/180$^{\circ}$ hybrid with the impedances asymmetrically terminated is presented. In the band of UHF and VHF. on the basis of it , the new design method of small sized- hybrid using both lumped and distributed elements is also presented and analyzed At the center frequency of 900MHz. 3-dB $O^{\circ}$/180$^{\circ}$hybrid on the RT/Duroid substrate of ${\varepsilon}_{r}$=2.2, h=0.76mm is design and tested. Agreements are obtained between measured and theoretical results and at the same time the occupied area of it is reduced more than 70% compared with only distributed-type circuits.

  • For the seismic analysis of typical roadway bridges provisions are given in most codes for analysis models, which describes however only fundamental modelling methods according to the basic theories of structural dynamics. In practice even conventional non-seismic analysis models, separate super- and substructure models, are applied, which are not adequate because of neglecting connection elements. In this study three typical roadway bridges, a Steel box bridge, a PC beam bridge and a PC box bridge are selected and simple models integrating super- and substructure as well as connection elements are given. The simple models are composed with frame elements with lumped masses representing stiffness and mass characteristics of the selected bridges. To check the properness of the simple models, analysis results with the simple models are compared with those obtained with detailed models in view of bridge failure mechanisms. It is proved that the simple models can be used in the preliminary design phase fur the determination of failure mechanisms of typical roadway bridges.

The anchorage-slip effect on direct displacement-based design of R/C bridge piers for limiting material strains

  • Direct displacement-based design (DDBD) represents an innovative philosophy for seismic design of structures. When structural considerations are more critical, DDBD design should be carried on the basis of limiting material strains since structural damage is always strain related. In this case, the outcome of DDBD is strongly influenced by the displacement demand of the structural element for the target limit strains. Experimental studies have shown that anchorage slip may contribute significantly to the total displacement capacity of R/C column elements. However, in the previous studies, anchorage slip effect is either ignored or lumped into flexural deformations by applying the equivalent strain penetration length. In the light of the above, an attempt is made in this paper to include explicitly anchorage slip effect in DDBD of R/C column elements. For this purpose, a new computer program named RCCOLA-DBD is developed for the DDBD of single R/C elements for limiting material strains. By applying this program, more than 300 parametric designs are conducted to investigate the influence of anchorage slip effect as well as of numerous other parameters on the seismic design of R/C members according to this methodology.

Matching Element Sensitivity Analysis for the Operation of a Dual-band Power Amplifier with CRLH Transmission Lines

  • In this paper, we analyzed the sensitivity of matching elements for the dual-band operation of a power amplifier with composite right/left-handed (CRLH) transmission lines. Metamaterial theory enables CRLH transmission to support arbitrary impedance matching at dual frequencies. In general, at sub-GHz range, the CRLH matching networks are commonly implemented with lumped elements, which are prone to manufacturing distribution. In order to reduce the effect from the distribution of element values in design, we suggest a method to analyze the sensitivity of matching elements from the performance aspect of power amplifiers. Based on the analysis, a 40dBm dual-band power amplifier operating at 0.7GHz and 1.5GHz is designed.

  • This paper presents a simple method for estimating the maximum crosstalk noise of on-chip grobal wires. For the derivation of the maximum crosstalk expression we have modeled wires using lumped-elements that are composed of R, L and C. We have also used experimental constant to reduce the modeling error. The accuracy of the proposed method is verified by comparing against the HSPICE simulation results under the present process parameters and environmental conditions. The results of the proposed method can be used as an estimator in design-aid tools.

  • In this paper, we design the analog phase shifter for the elimination of the ghost signal. Compensation of the delay between the reference signal and the relatively delayed signal is possible. This phase shifter uses the vector summing method. We use for the attenuator in our system FETs. The phase shifter is operated at the 200MHz and composed by lumped elements. The proposed analog phase shifter is simulated by the HP ADS software.

  • In this paper, we designed and implemented a microstrip directional coupler that has high directivity at 2.14 GHz. To design coupler that has high directivity, we used interdigital capacitors instead of lumped elements. The measured results show the diretivity is higher than 30 dB at 2.14 GHz.
