This research examines the impact of brand personality dimensions on store attitude and store loyalty for department stores. A total of 431 customers participated in the online survey. The participants were women in their 20's to 50's with experience of purchasing apparel from four major department stores. The data were analyzed using factor analysis, reliability test, and structural equation modeling with PASW 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. Analyses revealed three dimensions of the brand personality of department stores: prestige, passion, and sincerity. Among the three dimensions of brand personality, 'passion' and 'sincerity' were shown to be the most influential factors affecting department store attitude. The results suggest that passionate and sincere customers tend to exhibit favorable store attitudes. Customers with more favorable store attitudes then are more likely to express great store loyalty than those with less favorable attitudes. An analysis of the effect of brand personality on attitudes toward department stores provides implications for department store brand management strategies.

Purpose: Consumers have become more interested in eating organic food in recent decades because of the effect of merchants' advertising. Eating organic food is also shown to strengthen immunity, especially during the recent COVID-19 pandemic. However, consumers may find it more difficult to choose organic food retailers than to purchase conventional goods. This is because of the uncertainty characterizing the process of selecting organic food retailers, despite the growing rivalry across supermarket chains that sell organic goods. This study explores how consumers' perceived image (social responsibility and ability image) of organic food stores affects consumer loyalty. Research design, data and methodology: The data for the analysis were collected using Macromill Embrain, an online research service agency. The data were analyzed using SPSS 26 and Smart PLS 4.0. Results: Based on structural equation modeling, the findings of the study demonstrate that store image positively impactsstore loyalty, and that the mediator (perceived value) affects the relationship between the two variables. Conclusions: Organic food stores must understand consumers to improve store loyalty. Efforts such as providing a user community that enables joint behavior by sharing experiences among customers or launching campaigns to improve consumers' perceived brand identity can increase store loyalty.

The results suggested that, loyalty program value benefits(hedonic benefits and utilitarian benefits) had positive effect on customer satisfaction, and loyalty program value costs(hedonic costs and utilitarian costs) had oppositive effect on customer satisfaction. The impact of hedonic benefits of the loyalty program values was the largest. Customer satisfaction and switching barrier directly affect store loyalty. Purpose - This study aimed to understand the influence of visible factors directly shown to and experienced by consumers such as physical evidence, and invisible factors obtained through acquaintances or other experienced consumers such as word-of-mouth, in the discount stores' marketing communication on impulse buying intention and store loyalty. Research Design, Data, and Methodology - This study examined the effect of factors in discount stores' marketing communication, for instance, physical evidence, word-of-mouth, and buying impulse intention. The questionnaire survey resulted in 68 completed questionnaires. Results - Physical evidence and word-of-mouth have a statistically significant positive effect on store loyalty. The results of regression analysis regarding whether visible or invisible factors have more impact showed that word-of-mouth has a statistically significant positive effect on store loyalty. With regard to impulse buying intention, only word-of-mouth was statistically significant. Conclusion These results suggested that visible and invisible factors that appeal to customers are very important. In particular, the results suggested that stores should create invisible factors (e.g., positive word-of-mouth) for their customers.
