In this study, we have investigated the kinetics on the char-CO2 catalytic gasification reaction. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) experiments were carried out for char-CO2 catalytic gasification of an Indonesian Kideco sub-bituminous. Na2CO3 and K2CO3 were selected as catalysts which were physically mixed with coal. The char-CO2 catalytic gasification reaction showed a rapid increase of carbon conversion rate at 850 ℃, 60 vol% CO2, and 7 wt% Na2CO3. At the isothermal conditions ranging from 750 ℃ to 900 ℃, the carbon conversion rates increased as the temperature increased. Four kinetic models for gas-solid reaction including the shrinking core model (SCM), random pore model (RPM), volumetric reaction model (VRM), and modified volumetric reaction model (MVRM) were applied to the experimental data against the measured kinetic data. The gasification kinetics were suitably described by the MVRM for the Kideco sub-bituminous. The activation energies for each char mixed with Na2CO3 and K2CO3 were found 55-71 kJ/mol and 69-87 kJ/mol.

The purpose of this study is verifying which financial property of a venture company listed in KOSDAQ is a primary factor to determine Highly Successful company or Less Successful one. For sampling, I classified 405 venture companies, whose averages for 2005 of 2 standards are In the 30% high/low rank, as Highly Successful/Less Successful companies subject to the higher Operating Income to Total Assets and Return on Invested Capital (ROIC), the Highly Successful company. And I verified which variable is most important one to distinguish between Highly Successful companies and Less Successful ones among 24 financial ratios selected through preceding studies. For the analysis, I firstly extracted analogous variables by Stepwise Method and secondly carried out Multi variate Discriminant Analysis. The result mainly shows variables related to returns and stability similar to preceding studies. Especially, Operating Income to Total Assets reveals most reliable variable distinguishing between Highly Successful company and Less Successful one, whereas Current Ratio does not. When reliability of function formula of variables were compared with Operating Income to Total Assets standard and ROIC standard, there was almost no difference.

The objectives of this study were to evaluate the fluoride release and the change of surface roughness of fluoride releasing restorative materials after toothbrush-dentifrice abrasion. Seven commercially available fluoride releasing restorative materials (Fuji II LC Improved: FL, Compoglass F: CG, Dyract AP: DR, F2000: FT, Ariston: AT, Tetric: TR, and Gradia: GD) were selected as experimental materials. The results obtained were summarized as follows: 1. The AT, FL, and CF groups produce an initially large burst of fluoride release and comparatively low but continuous release of fluoride. But other groups produce no initial burst of fluoride and levels of release remain relatively constant. 2. The rate of fluoride release remains steady state after 40 days. The results of Tukey's test (P<.05), the fluoride release showed the order of decreasing rank as follows: AT > FL > compomers > TC and GD. 3. The surface roughness indicated that the highest value was observed in the FT group and the lowest value was observed in the CF group. The surface roughness of Tukey's test showed the significant differences between groups of FT, AT and FL and groups of CF, DR, GD and TC (P<0.05).
To overcome problems of conventional glass ionomers, resin components have been added to glass ionomers. On a continuum between glass ionomers and composites are a variety of blends, employing different proportions of acid-base and free radical reactions to bring about cure. Popular groups defined between the ends are resin-modified glass-ionomers(RMGIs), polyacid-modified composite resins(Compomers) and ionomer modified resins. These groups show different clinical properties, and in selecting these materials for a restoration, one should sufficiently understand these different setting properties. In this study, some difference in the setting characteristics of different groups of hybrid ionomers were examined. Two RMGIs (Fuji2 LC,GC / Vitremer, 3M), three Compomers (Dyract AP, Dentsply / F2000, 3M / Elan, Kerr) were involved in this study. The identification of the setting characteristics of different groups was achieved by a two-stage study. First, thermal analysis was performed by a differential scanning calorimeter, and then the hardness of each group at different depth and time were measured by a micro-hardness tester. Thermal analysis was performed to identify the inorganic filler content and to record the heat change during setting process. The setting process was progressed for each material by chemical set mode and light-cured mode. In the hardness test, samples of materials were prepared with a 6mm-diameter metal ring, and the hardness was measured at the top, and 1mm, 2.5mm, 4mm below at just after a 40 second-cure, and after 10 minutes, 24 hours, and 7 days. Statistical analysis was performed by Mann-Whitney rank sum test to assess significant differences between set modes and types of materials, and by ANOVA and T-test to evaluate the statistical meanings of data at different times and depths of each materials. Followings are findings and conclusions derived from this study. Thermal analysis; 1. Compomers show no evidence of chemical setting while RMGIs exhibit heat output during the process of chemical setting. 2. Heat of cure of RMGIs exceed Compomers. 3. The net heat output of RMGIs through light-cured mode is higher than through chemically set mode. Hardness test; 1. Initial hardness of RMGIs immediately after light cure is relatively low, but the hardness increases as time goes by. On the contrary, Comomers do not show evident increase of the hardness following time. 2. Compomers show a marked decrease of setting degree as the depth of the material increases. In RMGIs, the setting degree at different depths does not significantly differ.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between organizational culture, organizational trust and organizational performance of special guard organization. This study had selected special guards from 4 different private guard companies which are in Seoul area on March 2011. Using Judgement Sampling, 161 samples were drawn for the use of final analysis. Questionnaire used in this study was consisted of the total 42 question, and executed frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, path analysis by SPSSWIN 18.0. The Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ value which represents the reliability of the survey came out to be over .592. The results are following: First, the organizational culture of special guard organization affects organizational trust. That is, when a developmental, reasonable, consensual and hierarchical culture is activated, cognitive emotional and behavioral trust is increased. Second, organizational culture of special guard organization affects organizational performance. That is, when a reasonable and consensual culture is activated, job-satisfaction becomes higher. On the other hand, when a developmental, reasonable and hierarchical culture is activated, organizational flow becomes higher. Third, organizational trust of special guard organization affects organizational performance. That is, when a cognitive emotional and behavioral trust works highly, job-satisfaction and organizational flow is increased. Fourth, Special security organization's organizational culture affects as a result in organization result. As well as organizational culture exerts direct influence on organization outcome, I exert effect that is indirect in organization outcome through action trust which is low rank factor of organization trust.
Traditional Kochujang was prepared adding horseradish or mustard powder to repress the gas formation which used to cause swelling problem during distribution. The koji for Kochujang was prepared by the strains which had high amylase and protease activities with superior flavor. The gas production from Kochujang during fermentation at $25^{\circ}C$ was ceased after stopping yeast growth completely by bactericidal components from $0.6{\sim}1.2%(w/w)$ of horseradish or mustard addition. Total viable bacterial count was not affected by adding horseradish or mustard. The amino type nitrogen content in Kochujang, which was one of the most important parameters in quality of Kochujang, increased continually during fermentation. The Kochujang fermented by P-2 isolate and added with mustard was significantly higher in amino type nitrogen content than other treatments after 120 days' fermentation. ${\alpha}-Amylase$ activity was very low while ${\beta}-amylase$ activity was high in Kochujang fermented by adding horseradish and mustard powder. The protease(acid and neutral) activities gradually increased by fermentation with no difference between treatments. The color and flavor were not different, but overall palatability of the Kochujang evaluated by sensory test showed significantly high rank in Kochujang fermented by P-2 isolate and with horseradish.

This study looked into estimation of variance component over swine's economic traits by multiple animal model and maternal effect model using on-farm test data of total 31,455 swine of Duroc, Landrace and Yorkshire species that were born between 2000 and 2008. Heritability by estimated additive genetic effect showed higher than one by maternal genetic effect using multivariate maternal animal model in each trait examined by each breed and most heritability when considering only additive genetic effect in multiple traits animal model was estimated to be higher than one by estimated additive genetic effect in multivariate maternal animal model. In correlation between breeding value by estimated maternal genetic effect and phenotypic value using multivariate maternal animal model, rank correlation and simple correlation of breeding value and phenotypic value by maternal genetic effect also showed low positive correlation or strong negative correlation, which can be considered that if correlation with phenotype were increased properly considering maternal genetic effect in each trait by each breed, even better improvement could be promoted.

Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Ayres's sensory integration (ASI) intervention on the sensory processing ability and motor development in children with Developmental Delay. Methods : 9 children in the experimental group and 8 children in the control group participated in this study for Developmental Delay children aged 3-5 years. For research tool, the Short Sensory Profile (SSP), Peabody Developmental Motor Scale-2 (PDMS-2) are used. In the experimental group, individual sensory integration therapy according to principle of ASI was performed for twice a week, 40 minutes, and 16 times for 8 weeks. Methods for the data analysis included Mann Whitney U test, Chi-square test, Wilcoxon's signed rank test, Cohen's d test of SPSS 24.0. Results : In the ASI Intervention group, the sensory processing ability showed statistically significant difference in total score, movement sensitivity, auditory filtering and low energy/weak compared to the control group without ASI intervention (p<.05). In the ASI Intervention group, the motor development showed statistically significant difference in Gross Motor Quotient, Fine Motor Quotient and Total Motor Quotient compared to the control group without ASI intervention (p<.05). Conclusions : In this study, ASI intervention had a positive effect on the sensory processing and motor development in children with Developmental Delay.
Objectives: The purpose of the study was to investigate factors affecting the assessment of objective and subjective masticatory ability in the elderly, and to evaluate masticatory ability assessment more accurately. Methods: A total of 112 participants were recruited after oral examination in senior citizen welfare facilities. The participants' masticatory ability was evaluated objectively (Mixing ability index; MAI), and subjectively (Key food intake ability; KFIA). Participants' general characteristics and oral health-related variables were also recorded. Based on masticatory ability assessment, participants were classified as either high or low. IBM SPSS Statistics Ver.23.0 was used for all analyses, including descriptive statistics, Chi-square test, Mann-Whitney U test, Spearman rank correlation, and Logistic regression analysis. Results: Higher masticatory ability was positively correlated with higher scores on MAI and KFIA. Additionally, there was a significant positive correlation between MAI and KFIA. When analyzing factors affecting objective and subjective masticatory ability assessments, Functional tooth units (FTUs) were revealed as a related factor. In subjective masticatory ability assessment, oral moisture, difficulty in chewing, and the Geriatric Oral Health Assessment Index (GOHAI) were also influential factors. Conclusions: In order to accurately assess masticatory ability, it is necessary to use both objective and subjective measures. Additionally, to improve the masticatory ability in the elderly, treatment should be provided to improve overall oral health and satisfaction.

Study Design: Retrospective study. Purpose: Lumbar intervertebral disc degeneration is an important cause of low back pain. Overview of Literature: Spinal fusion is often reported to have a good course for adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS). However, many studies have reported that adjacent segment degeneration is accelerated after lumbar spinal fusion. Radiography is a simple method used to evaluate the orientation of the vertebral column. magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is the method most often used to specifically evaluate intervertebral disc degeneration. The Pfirrmann classification is a well-known method used to evaluate degenerative lumbar disease. After spinal fusion, an increase in stress, excess mobility, increased intra-disc pressure, and posterior displacement of the axis of motion have been observed in the adjacent segments. Methods: we retrospectively secured and analyzed the data of 15 patients (four boys and 11 girls) with AIS who underwent a spinal fusion surgery. We studied the full-length view of the spine (anterior-posterior and lateral) from the X-ray and MRI obtained from all patients before surgery. Postoperatively, another full-length spine X-ray and lumbosacral MRI were obtained from all participants. Then, pelvic tilt, sacral slope, curve correction, and fused and free segments before and after surgery were calculated based on X-ray studies. MRI images were used to estimate the degree to which intervertebral discs were degenerated using Pfirrmann grading system. Pfirrmann grade before and after surgery were compared with Wilcoxon signed rank test. While analyzing the contribution of potential risk factors for the post-spinal fusion Pfirrmann grade of disc degeneration, we used generalized linear models with robust standard error estimates to account for intraclass correlation that may have been present between discs of the same patient. Results: The mean age of the participant was 14 years, and the mean curvature before and after surgery were 67.8 and 23.8, respectively (p<0.05). During the median follow-up of 5 years, the mean degree of the disc degeneration significantly increased in all patients after surgery (p<0.05) with a Pfirrmann grade of 1 and 2.8 in the L2-L3 before and after surgery, respectively. The corresponding figures at L3-L4, L4-L5, and L5-S1 levels were 1.28 and 2.43, 1.07 and 2.35, and 1 and 2.33, respectively. The lower was the number of free discs below the fusion level, the higher was the Pfirrmann grade of degeneration (p<0.001). Conversely, the higher was the number of the discs fused together, the higher was the Pfirrmann grade. Conclusions: we observed that the disc degeneration aggravated after spinal fusion for scoliosis. While the degree of degeneration as measured by Pfirrmann grade was directly correlated by the number of fused segments, it was negatively correlated with the number of discs that remained free below the lowermost level of the fusion.
