환경친화형 연료분할-고속분사식 버너 개발 (A Development of Environmental-friendly Burner with High Injection Velocity by Multi-staged Fuel-injection)

  • In this study, Development of 300,000kcal/hr high velocity Injection burner with fuel multi-stage was performed using experiments. The characteristics of NOx emission in multi fuel/air staged combustor have been experimentally studied. The design concept of multi fuel/air staged combustor is creation of two separate flame, a primary flame is largest access air combustion and the secondary flame is complete combustion zone, where most of fuel bums. Experiments were performed on an industrial scale in a laboratory furnace and Liquefied Natural Gas(LNG) was used as primary and secondary fuels. Comparison of outlet NOx and outlet Temperature under various air rate and primary/ secondary fuel ratio was performed. The test demonstrated that NOx emission con be reduced by 70% in accordance with operating conditions.

  • Acoustic emission(AE) measurement was carried out to evaluate the fracture behavior of high tension steel. Fracture toughness $K_{AE}$ could be determined reasonably by using the load value corresponding to an abrupt change of the accumulated AE counts AE emitted from the test specimens. AE characteristics of the base metal, the weld metal and the heat-affected zone could be distinguished using a constant value b which represented the AE amplitude distribution, Consequently the structure integrity can be evaluated by variation of the constant b at the load level. In addition it was found that AE signals due to crack growth have high amplitude but low rise time and duration.

  • The object of this study is to investigate the effect of compounded welding through the AE (Acoustic Emission) characteristics on static tensile test. This study was carried out a SM 490A, high tension steel using the low hydrogen type E4316 of electronic shield metal arc welding and compound wire of $CO_2$gas arc welding. $CO_2$welding, weak in the intensity of HAZ (Heat Affected Zone), can be improved by being combined with coated arc welding, Coated arc welding, weak in the intensity of the bead, can be improved by being combined with $CO_2$welding. Especially, electronic coated arc welding and $CO_2$welding complement the mechanical intensity of HAZ and the bead with each other. So, compounded welding increases the intensity in the special parts and enhances the quality of goods.

차량 운행제한 지역 설정을 위한 화물자동차 통행요인 분석 (A Study of the Travel Factors of Truck for the Low Emission Zone)

  • 본 연구는 수송부문에서 오염물질 배출 비중이 큰 화물차의 통행량에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하기 위하여 다중회귀모형을 추정하였으며, 모형 추정 결과 지역별 인구수, 도시지역 면적, GDP, 업종별(농업, 임업 및 어업, 광업, 제조업, 도매 및 소매업) 사업체수 등이 주요 변수로 검토되었다. 이러한 변수는 화물차 특성(업종, 톤급)에 따라 상이하게 나타나므로 차량 운행제한 등 관련 정책 추진 시에는 지역별 화물차 특성에 따른 통행량을 충분히 고려해야 할 필요가 있다. 특히 물류터미널 등 화물차 통행량이 많은 물류거점이 위치하지 않은 지역에 대해서는 화물차 통행에 영향을 미치는 지역별 요인을 고려하여 차량 운행제한 대상 지역을 검토해야 할 필요가 있다. 특히 본 연구의 결과에서 제시된 바와 같이 화물차 통행량과 지역 내 인구수는 양의 상관관계를 가지기 때문에 인구밀집지역에서는 화물차를 포함한 차량운행제한 검토가 필요하다. 본 연구 결과의 신뢰도를 높이기 위해서는 실제 통행량 자료를 기반으로 다중회귀모형 외 다양한 모형 추정을 통하여 추정 결과에 대한 오차를 줄여야 할 필요가 있다.

다단 공기 공급 저 NOx 버너의 선회유동 및 연소특성에 관한 실험적 연구 - 다단공기공급에 의한 연소특성(I) - (A Study on Swirl Flow and Combustion Characteristics of Air Staged Low NOx Burner)

  • The objective of this research is to determine generally applicable design principles for the development of internally staged combustion devices. Utilizing a triple annulus combustor, the detailed combustion characteristics are studied. For this triple air staged combustor, the angular momentum weighted by it#s swirl number and air distribution ratio was observed to be the critical criteria of NOx emission. An internal recirculation zone which develops on the centerline of the flame immediately downstream of the burner entraps the fuel into a fuel rich eddy. Then sufficient heat must be transferred from the flame via radiation to the chamber heat transfer surfaces, such that the peak flame temperatures are suppressed when the second air is introduced. It is experimentally found out that the total NOx emission level in this type of burner is below 50ppm(3% Ref. O2) at optimum operating conditions.

  • 본 연구에서는 소규모 실험장치(6.6kW)를 이용하여 $NO_x$ 저감방법 중에 가장 효율적인 방법이라 알려진 공기 및 연료의 단계적 연소법 (air and fuel staged combustion)을 이용하여, Fuel-N을 함유하고 있는 연료의 $NO_x$ 의 배출특성을 규명함 은 물론 최적 저 $NO_x$ 연소기술 향상방안을 제시하고자 한다.

희박연소를 이용한 가스터빈 연소기의 저 $NO_{x}$ 특성 (The Low $NO_{x}$ Characteristics of a Lean Premixed Gas Turbine Combustor)

  • The combustion characteristics have been investigated to develop the low $NO_{x}$ gas turbine combustor. The lean premixed combustion technology was applied to reduce the $NO_{x}$ emission. Also, the conventional combustor was designed and tested for the baseline of low $NO_{x}$ combustor performance. The test was conducted at the condition of high temperature and ambient pressure. The combustion air which has the temperature of 500K were supplied to the combustor through the air preheater. The temperature and emissions of $NO_{x}$ and CO were measured at the exit of combustor. The premixing chamber can be operated very lean condition of equivalence ratio around 0.35. The $NO_{x}$ was decreased with decreasing the equivalence ration. The CO was decreased with decreasing the equivalence ratio, but the CO was increased with decreasing the equivalence ratio below 0.45. But, at the very lean condition of equivalence ratio below 0.35 both NOx and CO were increased because of the flame unstability. The $NO_{x}$ was decreased slightly and CO was increased with increasing inlet air flowrate. This results can be used to determine the size of combustor. The low $NO_{x}$ combustor has lower values of $NO_{x}$ and CO compared with conventional one. Consequently the performance of combustor shows the possibility of the application to the gas turbine system.

80 kW 초 저 NOx 단일 버너 연소로에서 NOx 감소를 위한 운전특성 연구 (Study on Operating Characteristics for NOx Reduction in Ultra Low NOx Burner Combustion Using 80 kW Furnace)

  • 본 연구는 80 kW급 단일버너 연소로에서 석탄 연소시 초저 NOx 버너 설계인자를 평가하기 위한 실험적 연구이다. 버너 설계 인자인 선회강도, 총 과잉 공기비, 버너 영역 과잉공기비, 1차/2차 산화제 비율, OFA 비율을 변경하여 총 81개 조건을 대상으로 실험을 수행 하였다. 실험 결과, 선회류가 약하면 연소로 출구에서 CO가 증가하고 연소로 내부 온도가 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나, 선회류가 강하면 NOx가 증가하기 때문에 적절한 선회류 강도를 결정하는 것은 NOx를 줄이는 데 중요한 요소이다. 1차/2차 산화제의 비율 또한 중요한 요소이며, 생성 된 NOx의 양은 산화제의 비율에 따라 달라진다. 2차 산화제의 비율이 증가하면 연소 초기에 NOx 방출량이 증가하고, 측정 된 배출구 NOx가 증가하게 된다. 그러나, 2차 산화제 비율이 감소하면 화염이 길어지고 CO가 증가한다. 본 연구에 사용 된 연소 시스템은 적절한 조건이 만족 될 때 O2 6%를 기준으로 최소 NOx가 82 ppm 생성되는 것으로 확인 되었다. 본 실험에서 대상으로 한 버너는 연소용 공기를 석탄을 이송하는 1차공기 외에 2차공기로 하나의 산화제 유동만 사용하는 방식으로서 추후 3차 및 4차공기로 분할하여 화염형태 및 반응을 세밀하게 제어할 경우 추가적인 NOx 감소가 가능할 것으로 예상된다.

이중 바닥 온돌 시스템의 응용에 관한 이론적 분석 (Theoretical Analysis on the Applications of the Double-Floor Ondol System)

  • The Korean traditional 'Ondol' system has been a target for innovation to meet the requirements of sustainable domestic building and low carbon emission energy utilization. Simulation techniques provide designers and researchers with powerful tools to predict heating load and thermal behaviour of Ondol systems installed in various contexts. However, there are few studies on Ondol models, especially associated with multi-stories buildings of which type covers about 50% of Korean housing stock. In this study, we analyzed the double floor Ondol system on the multi-stories buildings using the ESP-r program. On the basis of the double floor Ondol system, we suggested the new modelling method that is composed of the Vent zone and Ondol zone. Using the this model, sensitivity analysis was carried out to refine the applicability of the model taking account of control conditions, constructions, air change and air flow network method and CFD analysis using the FLUENT. The air layer has enough temperature to use in heating zone. It is suggested that the simplicity of the model will allow building designers and mechanical engineers easily to implement scenario-based assessments of design options as well as control strategies. Later, we will simulate the real buildings and analyze the air distributions using the Fluent according to the various conditions.
